With United travelling to St James’ Park tomorrow, eager for a win to keep up with Arsenal, what better time is there to remember that goal we scored against Newcastle at Old Trafford.

I had a ticket in the East stand that day, with a perfect view behind the player. It is the only time my goal celebration has been delayed, too busy picking my jaw up from the ground to contemplate jumping up and down.

Whilst Cantona’s all important strike against Newcastle back in 1996 at St James Park was far more significant, this surely has to go down as the greatest goal we’ve scored against the barcodes.

Can you think of a better one?
