Time For Manucho To Get English Football Experience

Rumours have been circling for some time now which suggest our Angolan signing, Manucho, is set for a loan move to West Brom.

WBA manager, Tony Mowbray, has hinted there could be truth to the rumour, claiming that top clubs have been offering their players on loan to his club.

“Some top clubs like the way we play,” said Mowbray. “They think that their fringe players might actually benefit from coming to us. They quite like what we do and they would like to send some of their players to us. But the bottom line is I will only take players if I think they will help our team and not just because some bigger clubs are offering them. Loans can be good because they’re not committing to the next three or four years and we’re not committing ourselves to salary levels.”

All together now…

i think it will be very good for ManUcho to go on loan because of teh choked attack we have. u can imagine tevez not getting a starting role. the guy had better move fast for the loan deal. if he can impress fergie while on loan at a premiership club, then he can have a chance. not forgetting that wellbeck is coming through as well and frazier campbell is somewhere on loan too.

I was hoping for him to play last night. I thought when we bought him that we would be getting a chance but maybe now I didn’t realise how much of a change it would be for him!

Ha ha! “better than Dong”!!! Is this possible?

No….i think he’s already summat different to what we have and a big asset that could come in handy when the hectic games come up…esp on 4 fronts + the world club champs. I think he should be given a chance in all lge and FA cup games..thats like a loan period anyway.

I mean c’mon how many games is campbell playing = virtually zip. May get a run out today.

So i think its best if he stays..gets to know the team and players..play some minor games and show us what he can do. EG his power, height and powerful runs. I think he’s top draw if given the chance

It looks like he’s had the rule run over him and SAF has decided that he’s more promise than anything else. Plus, of course, he’s already 25 (or whatever) while Danny Welbeck is eight or ten years younger.

Could of done with him against QPR Tall, tough and good in the air he would of scored from at least one of the many crosses no one else got on the end of .

If SAF isnt into him why was he on the bench ? Not happy with him then sell .

I believe if CQ were still here he would of been on . The result would of also reflected the effort the team put in .
