Can I just fucking say that it was 10 minutes between the penalty and Rooney’s 1st goal, so if after 10 minutes Spurs still couldn’t get their concentration, then they are bottlers. Turning point my arse, we would have massacred you anyway.

I cant believe Spurs fans are STILL banging on like this in their often incoherent babble like spoiled kids. Really, it’s over, you lost, you got tonked. You maybe got a tough decision on the penalty (although that case is not as water-tight as you think), but you should have had a player sent off long before, so please stop your self-pitying small-town loser whine, and hope United do you all a favour and leave Arsenal without a trophy , again.

SpursFan5000 i get what you mean.But for me the first half was a bit fortuitous for Spurs.Two goals from 3 attacks and the Palacios disgrace.It wasn’t fair on United either.

I think Spurs fan are disproportionately upset about this because we’ve been on an incredible run and were ‘daring to hope’ for next season… being two goals up away from home against the best team in the world put is in dreamland. If we’d held on to that lead we’d have gone away for the season extremely optimistic for next season.

Seeing us capitulate and concede 5 brings back too many memories – and makes us wonder if this is yet another false dawn. I think that has really fed in to the reaction we’ve seen over this penalty incident and it’s been way over the top.
