Lads,

As A brazilian and follower of anderson´s career since the very beginning, I must say that this shitty brazilian press does make a fuss on this shitty calccio and we grow here dreaming of playing for a Italian or Spanish giant someday. But, fortunatelly this picture has been changing lately. When Anderson moved to United he´d say that was his dream move and believe me he meant it. I really agree that his agent is simply trying to make more money of it all, that´s his bloody job after all, But the Kid is really happy and we are still to see his best coming up. Relax ev´rybody. We´re the best! Glory glory!

I agree with themarkedman72. Of course Mourinho laughed it off. Mendes knows he can safely use Mourinho without truly hacking off anyone. In fact, in a roundabout way, I reckon if Mourinho actually did want Anderson he would know that incurring the wrath of his respected colleague Fergie isn’t the way to do it at all, and subsequently knows that such comments could sabotage his intent!

As it goes, of course Mourinho doesn’t want him. If Anderson were to say the same thing about any other big club it could be a worry (if he said the same about Guardiola then that could prompt Barca to make a move) but because of the link Mourinho is just a safe bet to start improving his contract.

You have to remember that when it is all said and done, Anderson deserves a new contract. The one he signed along with Nani last summer would have been reflective of the bit parts they were expected to play over the season. However, the lad capitalised well on the Scholes injury and really worked hard to make the position his own. As a result, he deserves new terms – thats just the way football works. Mendes is just trying to get him the best possible deal that reflects the position – so please everyone stop taking these comments at face value!

hasnt mourinho said that he only intends to stay at inter for the length of his current contract?

if so- by the time anderson could leave on a free transfer, mourinho would be at a different club. maybe even united…
