Louis van Gaal made the bizarre claims that our squad doesn’t have players that are used to winning the league. He suggested Rooney and Carrick had one it once, or “maybe more”, and that David de Gea had never won it.

Presumably he was trying to downplay the disappointing season we’ve had so far, but claiming we didn’t have many champions in the team. For one, it’s not true, but for two, have Leicester been aided by lots of title winners in their team?
