United Welcome Ronnie Back With Real Madrid Shirt

It’s good to see that our lads have a sense of humour, after reports revealed that upon arrival back in Manchester, Ronaldo was given a Real Madrid shirt from his team mates. His name and number were written on the back, with an ‘x’ across them.

A ‘club source’ spilled the beans.

“It was hilarious,” said the source. “The lads wanted Cristiano to know there was no tension after all the transfer talk. They sorted the shirt out earlier this week and couldn’t wait to give it to him when he reported back for duty. Cristiano took it in very good spirit. The lads love playing pranks on each other and this was up there with the best.”

It’ll be interesting to see if the fans can laugh off this summer saga in the same way.

I can fully understand Ronaldo getting a cool or even mute reception from the United faithful but I hope there is no booing or anything like the protests and banners that those dickheads were waving around at the reserves the other week. I, like every other United fan have been really pissed off with Ronaldo’s lack of loyalty this summer but it will wreck our season if short-sighted idiots start booing

I totally agree with u, Jimmy The Weed!

…can’t wait for the community shield tomorrow, and hope we sign a quality striker to help us defend both the title and the chamions league., cheers!!!

  7. Bob Koh says:

Brilliant! now all Ronnie has to do is stitch up a similar X-out jersey that reads ‘Coach – Shuster’ & give it to Ferguson.

Up yours Ron. I will never forgive nor forget how you made my life this summer miserable. You have hurt my feelings boy. After WE ( MAN UTD ) made you the best player in the world, that was your way of paying us back? I’ll hope you’ll have a better season than last season and winning the double again BUT you are not part of our family anymore, piriod.

Every Manchester United fan, the world over, is part of an extended family that belongs to the Club. Manchester United Football Club (Amen!) is the best football club in the galaxy and all its supporters are genetically programmed to love the Club above all else. Supporting United is a lifelong commitment of love and pure pride – and you, Ronaldo, had better believe it and SHOW that you do. You have an awful lot of mending to do, boy, because no one, but no one, and no bloody one is bigger than UNITED !!!!

  10. austin says:

i wont be happy till he signs an extension with a £100m buy out clause

  11. Azubuike says:

We the man united fans love you before but not anymore. You are the black sheep of our family fan

  12. mcgrad2 says:

Utd, being bigger than any player, means Ronaldo will play for Man Utd as long as Fergie believes he does his job on the field, like every other player. If he does, that is good enough for me.

i wonder wat ron must b thinking abt the fans reception all the way in england b’se me and the some people all the way in africa want to give him a piece of our minds, what he shud know is that the club makes the player(for uniteds case anyway) not the other way round, if he left know most of us would have felt undone by his lack of loyalty from the days of the world cup(GO ENGLAND btw) stood by hom even wen stevie G wanted his own teammates to hate him(he was really acting like a kid at the time btw am talking about gerrard) fergie shud instil the lesson of loyalty to the club n mayb we will never hear of such “incidents again”
