Moments before kick off, it was announced that Evra picked up an injury, and has been ruled out of United’s Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev.
Yesterday, Paul Scholes was added to the injury list, giving Ferguson time to rethink his midfield. John O’Shea, who has just returned from injury himself, was set to play alongside Anderson in the centre of midfield. However, this last minute blow has meant O’Shea has been moved to left back, resulting in Darren Fletcher’s inclusion in the team in the centre of midfield.
United’s Injury List
Paul Scholes (awaiting tests)
Patrice Evra (awaiting tests)
Louis Saha (possibility for Saturday – bench)
Gary Neville (possibility for Saturday – bench)
Owen Hargreaves (November 2nd)
Michael Carrick (November 24th)
Ben Foster (December 2007)
Park Ji-Sung (January 2008)
Mikael Silvestre (March 2008)
The sheer amount of first XI players in that list is astounding. Let’s just hope we have enough to carry us through tonight, and that the tests Scholes and Evra have on return to Manchester have positive results.

Man Utd News 24/7

I think you will find Evra’s exclusion from he squad is a precaution. There is nothing serious its just a slight muscle tweak. Should be back for the weekend.
Yea these injuries are unbelievable.especially hargo’si really hope he is back for the game against the gunners because we will need his running
Yeah.. Hargreaves is very important to kick Fabregas out of the game. The midfield injuries are pissing me off.. More than scholes, we need hargo to be back, as anderson has finally started to show why united put in 17m for the lad
Great for us ,
Hargreaves is back for the teessiders game and Neville might be on the bench.
Carrick might just be available for the Arsenal game. But I would like to give the lad Anderson a chance at the Emirates.
