West Ham announced on their website that the FA Cup quarter-final replay would take place on April 6th, however it has been confirmed today that the game will take place on April 13th.

United fans booked transport and, in some cases, accommodation, in light of the article on West Ham’s website, only to be told that date was wrong. They won’t be reimbursed for that.

The new date breaks UEFA rules which say that domestic games can not take place on the same night as Champions League games. Manchester City are set to play PSG that night, so in a bid to limit the crossover and attention being taken away from the European fixture, United will kick-off at 7pm.
