‘V’ For Victory As United Release 100 Year Celebration Kit

Park Ji-Sung is impressed with the Manchester United new shirt design, which although looks remarkably like Mexico’s 2007 kit, is meant to be celebrating 100 of being in Old Trafford. The kit we wore in the 1909/1910 season, our first year in the ground, also had a chevron across the chest.

Park recognises the importance of history at our club and likes to think we will win every game we play in this new kit.

“It always feels great to put the kit on and there is always a great meaning behind our kits,” said Park. “History is very important at this club and it’s something all the players are aware of. I really like the chevron feature – I like to think of it as ‘V’ for victory and hopefully we can win every game we play in the new kit.”

I don’t like it. The black “v” looks slapped on and makes the players look fat or something. Rooney looks like he has a touch of the Downs in his kit pic.

I like it, I only buy United kits where there’s a significance to them and i’ll be buying this one and as MJ has died, I might have Jackson 58 on the back in memory of him.

    V for Vulger!

What a load of crock shit!

I would have prefered a retro kit like the 68 all red maybe with white cuffs or something!

Not a v for victory, what kind of cheesy shit is that!

How will v for victory work if we dont win the league and the pool scum do!

It all sounds too american for me! Someone might inform the glazers us lot dot go over the top like american supporters! This is the real world!
