I go to watch utd ever home game and most away games…and past 2 seasons the mistakes have been creeping in. Just this season they ve become more frequent…ok???

And as is aid earlier hope he does regain full form and gives us 1 great last season. COS even though i state some true facts which may hurt. I love every player that wears that badge of ours….manchester united till we die!!

No ones saying other players have played well. Cos most havent. Rooney looks a shadow of his former self….berbs looks a bit in beach land at the moment and needs to get games and start contributing…same with some other players. Who’s saying others are performing..alot arent. But that will come with time and every performance is improving. Alot rides on ALL the players.

And secondly im stating some facts pal. VDS has made many a blunder past few seasons. He’s made some good saves..but along with that he’s become prone to too many mistakes.

Face it pal…even though i love him and IF YOU CARE TO READ my comments you’ll find that i did say ” he was and is our best keeper since the great dane’ ‘ one of the best keepers ever’ ‘give us 1 more season’ etc etc etc. As i think he was once the best. THE FACTS are age maybe father time has got to him..errors are occurring frequently.

Hence why are vids evra and rio bawling at him more and more each game???????? rio esp telling him to think…telling him off…telling him to sort it??? WHY??? cos there is nothing worse for a back 4 than a shoddy behaving goalkeeper. It instills no confidence and defence dont know if the keepers going to flap or parry a shot..hence be ready to save his bacon.

I LOVE HIM..I WISH HE REGAINS HIS COMPOSURE AND STAYS AS OUR NUMBER 1 AND THEN TAKE UP A COACHING ROLE AT OUR CLUB. But you’d be blind not to admit hes playing absolute shite at mo.

PS. he made 2 flaps in the UCL final ( rio header..which scholes had to clear and 1 at a corner ). And great save and yes we won cup etc etc etc. but that doesnt buy you a free ticket to this season. 1 or 2 mistakes..granted that happens. but 1 0r 2 every game….that means points dropped….ask SAF when he tore into him for the brown own goal.

edwin has and is a key player for us.. and while i give props to the kuz for his overall performance yesterday, the defense looks shaky when he steps in goal. whether edwin would have saved that kalou shot, i cant say of course, but i can say edwin is a key player for us who contributes a lot more than you’re willing to admit

For me a keeper isnt great is he makes finger tip saves and looks good diving about. But a keeper that does the basics right…HANDLING, POSITIONING, CATCHING, THROWING, KICKING, COMMANDING THE BOX ETC ETC.

And im sorry he just doesnt do that anymore. A keepers job is to come out and take al and sundry…catch thorugh bodies or punch through bodies. If that means getting hurt, bruised and bloody. ten so be it, sometimes you have to clear out players even your own to get ball away.

Personally he has gone soft in his old age…not wanting to get hurt or ruin his face or hair. Hence flaps v dippers for 2 seasons, flaps v barcodes and rboys…poor kicks ( carrick ).

More and more he’s becoming a liability. And the defence is getting more and more worried and shaky because off it. Look at rio always bawling at VDS more and more each game….cos he instills no confidence in the back 4.

Yesterday was another error stricken day…and then he used the injury as an excuse. C’mon EDwin….i know you’re nearly 40….but you were one of the best keepers ever. Give us 1 more season…then you can take up a coaching role and we can get foster in ( if he ever stays fit ). Or buy another keeper. Cos kushy is much the same as VDS
