Robin van Persie has told voetbal.nl that he is enjoying life at Manchester United and is keen to rise to the challenge.
“It’s fun and it’s going well,” he said. “It is a great challenge. I will have to change a bit, but that happens in life often enough.”
The FA have confirmed that Van Persie won’t face charges for apparently elbowing Yohan Cabaye during United’s 3-0 win, despite Alan Pardew’s protests.
Van Persie was asked what he thought of their decision, to which he replied: “I agree with the union.”

Man Utd News 24/7

He will get fantastic service if we keep Wazza in that CM role!
Good to hear. You forget RVP has a bit of a nasty streak in him lol
Anyone see the bit about ravel Morrison? Looks like Birmingham want to terminate his loan deal haha. Thank god fergie dumped him
I used to like Utd’s training gear till DHL got involved, seriously that has to effect shirt sales
Really impressed with RVP and I think Rooney played really well against Newcastle on Sunday when dropping back into midfield
That Cabaye hit was a ‘ Don’t mess with us’ message to Newcastle and any other team that thinks all they have to do is push, kick & shove our players off the ball. Payback was done!
Great to have Robin at the club and his impact has been immense so far. We sure wouldn’t be second in the league if not for his contributions. The lad has a killer touch.
This whole thing about Robins nasty streak seems a tad unfair. Must admit that I haven’t spent alot of time dissecting his contributions pre-United. But find many forwards get far worse treatment from defenders than the other way around. I would wager that a camera following Robin for the entire game would reveal a fair amount of fouling the other way round. Also think the defender slows to insure impact with Robin and he may have just been raising an arm to push off.
Still feel we were lucky as the press do seem to only be showing a less than favorable view of the incident. If we were lucky, then that is one for the year. FA don’t show United any favors that I can see.
There’s a lot more to come from VP. Him going for international duty just worries me. Please come back with no injuries VP. I dun mind if you get a red card and got ban for 3 matches for Holland.
Man…you can watch this over and over again…
http://i.minus.com/idtnCxbfBczJj.gif
i just hope he elbows someone on international duty and gets a five batch ban
Nice Gif Mig – a poor cross that came good. His confidence is getting weekly boosts and with a relatively steady run of games with United and England he’s showing signs that he will be a United midfield player that is here to stay. He still has a lot to prove over the course of a season but he’s going the right direction and I think he has a lot more to offer.
Van Persie has no nasty streak, hes just assertive . We have much to thank wenger for re his development
Mug78- thanks for the link
Going way off topic

David moyes has a point there…
I promise you stand a good chance of winning if you bet on them getting relegated
And I’d take ages for them to return
Of course it’s fun, it’s the greatest and best club in the world!!!
Not sure it was a fluke definitely takes a look at goal before he delivers
FletchTHEMAN, agree with your comments re: RVP, spot on!!
ARUN, I hope your wish comes true lol!
Bobby Charlton’s combover & Redbilly,
it’s from http://beautifullyred.co.uk/
plenty of gifs clips there.
Yup, I actually don’t think Cleverley’s goal was a fluke. The way he looked up, it wasn’t exactly in the direction of RVP, more or “where’s the keeper?”
As for van Persie, he was one of the Arsenal players I didn’t mind at United. None of the others interested me much to be honest. I’m glad but sorry that Arsenal bore all his injuries. ;p *touch wood!*
the goal was not a fluke.
He actually, after receiving the pass, looks up to the goalie, and shoots.
For me a screamer that was meant. Reminds me of Ronaldinhos goals this week.
Crazy week
Of course he is having fun at United. He has Sir Alex teliing him to just keep doing what you do and he has Rooney passing him the ball.
Not to mention, he isn’t carrying the entire franchise on his back. He gets to be another cog – albeit an important cog – in the wheel.
i luv him mor
Mig78- thanks for the tip

Does any other club have such a diverse range of international call-ups ?
Messi ask if ronaldo was okay after what seemed he had injured his shoulder after a overhead kick attempt http://video.ak.fbcdn.net/cfs-ak-prn1/v/48364/524/408192479236538_15179.mp4?oh=a8135c60f23e47039f6e4f5d57fa7ab2&oe=5074AEEB&__gda__=1349823659_563020c9005393a3de2b86347b62ed58 #RESPECT!!!
Funtastic.
Well, well… you’d have never guessed it from the moany cunts on here Lol
Only joking lads only joking, lighten up. This online lark is supposed to be light relief for fuck sake!
Robin Fun Persie, you ‘avin a larf?
Cleverley’s goal was all about whip it in with pace. A striker gets at the end of it then great, if it flies in then he’ll take it, that was the plan. In the end, I could not care less, that goal was crucial to finally render the contest a non one.
Larks vomit?
Correct. We use choicest juicy chunks of fresh Cornish ram’s bladder, emptied, steamed, flavoured with sesame seeds, whipped into a fondue and garnished with lark’s vomit.
@ United foreva
You are correct about RvP sending a message. You can see Cabaye change the direction of his run to meet RvP. Van Persie’s arm is fully extended as if to protect. Cabaye ‘s pause after contact and his comical fall is almost as good as Tiote’s meltdown.
Cleverly wanted that ball very close to the goal at the very least. Look at the shot again, specifically his right big toe. He was putting mega curl on that.
@Samauel – spot on about the much discussed goal mate – I think its was a cross AND a shot. Its hardly a new phenom? Wack it and it aim for the goal, and if the striker misses it a save still has to be made. Turns out the cross was too much for RVP and the shot was too much for the Keeper! Either way Cleverley has another solid 90 mins under his belt.
How on earth does spending bucket loads of money on a “state of the art facility” help a player improve their technique or more importantly, find a potentially great player?. Most countries barely have any facility yet are miles ahead of the circus that is the english national team?. Totally baffled, yet another case of thinking money can buy everything.

Fun? He obviously can’t understand SAF slagging off the players in Scottish while chewing gum at warp speed. Kick the boot when needed fergie. Though the lad is doing ok right now. .
It is good to Rvp in man u he is a golden son. Up Rvp and roo

VOL 3 PART 1 you can see that Nani and Valencia are good friends, and then some supporters just slate them. And compare them.
In real life ,it’s different as you can see
We should support our every player, always! No matter what.
the last time someone score such a genius of a goal, remember rooney overhead kick against city, united won the premiership, heres hoping the cleverly’s cleverest goal at newcastle is a sign of the champions season
The newcastle line up was almost the perfect lineup in my opinion, but if I may choose, the best lineup this season which will fare very well any other team in the premiership, should be like this…following sir alex newly formed diamond formation :
First Team Line up ( if every players recovers from Injury )
De Gea
Dea Gea
Rafael Vidic Evans Buttner
Fletcher
Anderson Cleverly
Rooney
Van Persie Kagawa
Antonio Valencia has been nominated for the Premier league Player of the Year award. Winner revealed @ Northwest Football Awards in Nov.
Valencia up against John Heitinga, Martin Skrtel, Vincent Kompany, Gary Caldwell, Adam Bogdan and Yakubu.
How can it be fun to run around in such ugly kit in training? My eyes are bleeding ffs. Maybe he laugh at everyone else cause they look like morons in that DHL-pyjamas.
Thanks for abandoning the non Ambitious Wenger and co
marshawash, thanks for the link, enjoyed watching clips, love the lads and the team spirit…:)
Hope he does not get injured during these round of intetnationals
