Whilst on tour in America, Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has spoken about the importance of playing these games in preparation for starting the defence of the title next month.
“It is important,” Vidic said. “It’s nice when we come here, we have great facilities and the peace to train properly. It is a positive time in the year. I’m glad we’re here.”
Sporting the new blue away kit, Vida unsurprisingly said he was very impressed.
“It’s nice,” he continued. “Very modern, comfortable, and we’re feeling really good in it. The shirt is going to give us luck.”
