great pic of the scholes header…cracking goal and result and the same on Sunday will do nicely.
U-N-I-T-E-D….
All the talking stops on Sunday and we get to see who is better on the Big Day.
Last year City battered us at home and then we were so meek and cowardly at their ground that I was embarassed to be a Red.
Fergie better get the team right, the tactics right and the fire well-stoked in the belly BEFORE they go out and not at half time when we are already beaten like against Spurs.
Question is : Have we got a midfield that can win a big game like this ?
Carrick and Fletcher or Giggsy and Scholes or maybe Powell thrown in for good measure ? Perhaps our secret weapon BEBE will be the deciding masterstroke.
The fact is lads we havent sorted our midfield weakness out for almost four years now and my fear is that will be made bloody obvious(again) this weekend against players like Toure, Nasri, Silva even Barry.
Hope Im wrong but if we havent strengthened since last time what do we expect will happen.
I only hope we can get the ball to RVP a couple of times as he will save our skin – World class players always do when it matters.
Always worth a view at anytime, but especially before big games.

Win or lose on Sunday we want our fucking trophy back…..
yep sunday is a big day when we need to perform for 90 mins……………not 30 mins like we have done against the likes of chelsea spurs and newcastle.sir alex needs to get his tactics spot on whilst not stifling our own creativity i just hope we dont get consumed with ensuring we stop city from playing with negative man to man marking.we have shown that when we do play with an energy and purpose we can match anybody in this league its just not been frequent enough this season.having said that we are top of the league so cmon united lets make a massive fucking statement on sunday
Going into the derby with a Either Giggs,Scholes,Young,Powell, joining Carrick is scary.
Giggs played the entire 90 minutes and along with Scholes in midweek and would not be ideal to make the starting IX
Powell’s inexperienced
Young is probably the worst player in our squad this season..seriously
Ando,Cleverely,Valencia,Kagawa and Nani injured.
We get our defence back only to lose our Midfield.
Wow!!
I can imagine us either getting run over, or Rooney dropping deep leaving players upfront isolated.
Anybody else worried about this?
I hate to do it but dropping rooney back into midfield for this game might make some sense. Carrick-scholes-giggs-fletcher don’t have the legs to chase city around for 90 minutes and scholes tackling is a potential liability. Playing jones as a central holding midfielder with instructions to be disciplined and just sit in front of the back for could also work. All depends on who’s actually match fit on sunday, I’m still hoping Valencia and cleverly recover in time.
Playing Jones is as a DM actually a good idea.Provided he stick to that role. Should give Rooney some more chance of going forward.
The more I think about it, the more I think it has to be Jones in the middle, for better or for worse. We just need the energy in there. With no Nani or Valencia, I can only imagine we’ll see the diamond, set up something like this:
DDG
Rafael
Evans
Ferdinand
Evra
Scholes (base)
Carrick (centre)
Jones (centre)
Rooney (tip)
Welbeck
RVP
Which has the adaptability to move to a 4-3-3/4-5-1, with Rooney and Welbeck pulling wide and RVP through the centre.
To be honest – Yes – very worried
There has been far too many tactical blunders for my liking. We have a lot of weak players despite the blind devoted who think ALL United players are brilliant and the manager has definitely let slip some details that would never have been the case at his peak.
When I see us chasing a game at home and there not even being enough balls and ballboys to get play started urgently again and when we have not nominated a penalty taker before the game or when we have to send the kit man down the tunnel to get a ball in the middle of a CL game when one deflated I really do think that the complacency has reached a dangerous level,
I am actually worried about what bizarre line-up or make-do and mend midfield we put out in this massive game.
I would not be surprised to see a central defender like Jones put in the middle despite his lack of fitness.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Carrick put in as a centre half and Smalling played at right back so that Rafael can be played in the midfield alongside Giggs – Ludicrous ? Actually not – These are all things Fergie has done in the recent past so dont rule it out.
Worst of all, I am afraid he will go there and try to not lose rather than go and try and win and as a United fan that makes me die a little bit inside but thats what he did last year so it may well happen again.
I despise the cowardice of playing NOT to lose.
ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK not defend – defend – defend FFS
Personally I’d like to see us with a 4-4-2 and keep things compact in the midfield area and hit try and hit them on the counter attack. If we go all out looking for goals and lose our shape we will be in trouble. Discipline is the key to winning on sunday. Our full backs need to understand defending us the priority then Attack at the right times. Under no circumstances can we leave our two CBs exposed by losing our shape in the middle or down the wings.
@UTID
Who plays wide in a 4-4-2? The only fit options are Welbeck / Young. Hardly penetrative.

Problem with 4-4-2 is that our best wingers Nani And Valencia are out injured. And i really hope Ashley Young sits this one out, but i don’t see that happening sadly.
I guess young as long as he understands he has defensive duties. Have him play as more of a left midfielder instead of a left winger. Again no reason he can’t get up and down the wing he just needs to pick the right moments and not get caught to far foreword leaving Evra exposed. When one of them is attacking the other should cover IMO.
kanchelskis says:

I Totally agree. Welbeck is wasted on the right flank. Young even screws up corner kicks and his crosses are not that good too nowadays. What luck to have Nani.Valencia.Kagawa and at the last moment Ando and Cleverely injured before the Derby,
Dare i say Smalling at right back with Rafael as right winger .. who know what SAF might do. Not a good time to be in the Gaffer’s shoes with these injuries..
and even if one of the injured players are back they wont be match fit/sharp for sure
@leaxan
Personally I’m not taking much of what Fergie says about injuries at face value at the moment. Think he’s keeping Mankini guessing as much as he can. He’s already discussed how United’s unpredictability in terms of lineup and formation can come in handy this season. For example, I wouldn’t be overly surprised to see Cleverley and Vidic in the starting lineup.
@United till I die
We have to remember that whoever plays on the left will be up against Maicon/ Zabaleta i think.. Young will need to be at h s very best (The 8-1 rout at the emirates) for him to be useful on th epitch. I really hoped he would step up this season especially with Nani to italy rumors always around. But Having Nani is better i suppose
@leaxan
Now you mention the possibility of Maicon at RB, maybe Welbeck wide left becomes a more appealing option? Not a tricky winger, but his pace and power have been evident this season, whereas Maicon’s really struggled with the physical side of things.
@kanchelskis
I get what you are saying and deep down i’m hoping that’s true. i hope Cleverely plays.
I Wouldnt play Vidic even if he was fit.
1>He’s just back for an injury Relapse
2>He wont be match fit
3>He always gives it his all and that may get him injured again. We want a Fit Vidic for the Champions league come Feb
and I am Pretty DAMN sure Silva wasn’t injured. He was RESTED in mid week. He overcame his hamstring and back problem so quickly? No way.
Young and welbeck both are must start, both tend to come to life against the big guns
This game also can signal danny the lads comeback to a permanent stay in the starting line
its fine by me if drop rooney for this one….
My ideal line up would be:
——————DDG
Rafael—-rio ferdy—–evans—-evra
—————–carrick——–fletcher
——Young——–Rooney——welbz
——————–RVP
@kanchelskis.. Welbeck is a better option for sure. Young will go to ground too easily against Maicon and the ref wont always award a free kick. Better to have Welbeck up there and he has Evra supporting him too
It’s going to be tough to find a perfect system with the players we have available that’s why I’m hoping Cleverly and/or Valencia recover in time. I don’t want us to park the bus and just let city come at us but I don’t want to see us getting carried away going foreword either. A draw is a good result for us considering our injuries at present but I don’t want us going in with that mind set and actually playing for a the draw.
I’d like to point out to everyone why Ninja the Cunt is a troll not a fan,see how gleefully he likes to say City battered Utd at OT when that’s just not true the scoreline was just very flattering
Firstly for most of the first half Utd was the better team and obviously the Evans sending off changed everything
It was only 2-0 up to the 70th minute and 3-1 up to the 90min
Ninja is a lying troll cunt who loves to exaggerate all the negatives but never adds anything positive.What makes me laugh everyone knows he’s a troll and continues to tell everyone he goes to games etc,he really is one sad bastard
Five in the middle,choke them trust Valencia is being lied about and be devastating on the break sorted.
@proverb
That would put Young up against Kolarov/ Clichy , hopefully Cleverely is fit.
then your line up excluding Young looks good.
Chicha and i dont know who else would make an impact as a sub
@UTID
Exactly. We’re far more likely to get the point if we play for the win. Our defence just isn’t stable enough at the moment to try and play a conservative game. Can see a 2-2, or someone winning 3-2.
Another poser for everyone … Would you take the point now?
Another thought on Welbeck. His Mancness will probably earn him a starting spot. Fergie loves at least one local lad in on these occasions. Let’s hope it’s this local lad who gets the nod!
Also, remember the last time he started a game against them?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1JB6WJ5eFU
@ kanchelskis
I’d take the point right now only because of our injuries and we’re playing away. If it was our home match I would want us to go for all three.
@kanchelskis
I would take a point for sure. We would still have a 2 Point lead, But i want REVENGE and a 6 Point Lead for sure. Better if SAF goes for the Win.
@wayne no one like to be reminded of that loss, i was watching a promo for the derby and the clip had a mention of the score line.totally brought back bad memories. The guy is probably just being passionate and rambling on. To be fair i have been watching United play for the past 11 years on the Television only. Never been to OT.
Danny the lads unpredictability and touch of magic earns him an automatic spot not the otherway around lol
The fucker who cursed us with injuries will see the true manchester united come sunday
The spirit will win us the game in absence of quality
Don’t see Vidic starting without any game time,that’s throwing him to quick and risking another injury.Young looked better last week and unlike some I rate him when he’s on form think its a gimme Carrick and Fletch will start
City really haven’t played well all year Utd can go in there and get a result no problem,injuries are really fucking us up again
Yeh, I’d take the point.
The thing that makes me greedy for the win is the potential psychological effect of ending City’s ludicrous home unbeaten run. Their consistency in the league is based primarily around their incredible home form, and if we could plant a seed of doubt there, the consequences might run far deeper than one result.
@kanchelskis how sweeeeeeeeeet it would be to end their unbeaten home run!! FTW i say
They would of succumbed had they had the same amount of injuries we have.
The bitter cunts have played it same in most of their that’s why they have a nice record in their shit hole when as opposed to us, we literally played a very entertaining game which could have its ups and downs due to injuries forcing the gaffer to tinker. Fuck them disjointed bitter mercenaries, they don’t come close to this club that is manchester united
Safe*
Leaxan hi mate,no there’s a group of them that come onto Rom and spread negatives claim to be fans but all they do is slag the club,manager and players.Ninja is one of them just a bunch of sad bastards mate
I’ve got a good idea Anti Scouser claims to be a Stretford End season ticket holder,Ninja the cunt also claims to be a season ticket holder same as Diablo
As King Eric pointed out plenty of lads from ROM are season ticket holders and meet up,if Anti,Ninja and Diablo are telling the truth time to meet up with some other Reds at the game and introduce yourselves don’t you think
Ha Shinji now bigging up Barry and that little fag cunt Nasri.
Why should Carrick and Fletcher “have to chase ” City around all game? Fuck me City are dogshit this season . Slow and ponderous with fuck all penetration. Let them worry about containing Van Persie, Rooney and the like. That fat cunt Toure looks like he cant be arsed this season. He can barely fucking run this season the fat idol cunt.
Wayne – Yeah well said pal. Me, Mike, Deano and James will meet these lads anytime for a pint.
Err Carrick has only played at CB when Vida, Smalling, Jones and Evans not available. Yeah Fergie is gonna chuck him in there on Sunday. Not enough ball boys? What the fuck?
leaxan – A draw would still be a 3 point lead pal!!
kanchelskis – True mate. City have now got that fear factor at home. Teams are shit scared for some reason except in Europe when the likes of Ajax and Dortmund didnt give a fuck and played them off the park. When City are away at ANY ground I almost expect them to drop points.
where the fuck are kagawa and valencia?
@KE
Thing is, even when teams are bowling up there and outplaying them, they’re still not leaving with 3 points. See Everton last weekend. How they didn’t win that game I don’t know.
@nicky
Fuck knows mate. Valencia’s “knock” must’ve been some fucking knock.
Kagawa’s always been a bit slow to recover from injuries throughout his career, but it seems he’s nearly back. Actually, wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the bench on Sunday. Even if not match fit, he’s got that something that could change the game in the last 15 minutes.
i think some people here and some so called EXPERTS are hyping up shitty too much. jesus christ yay toure has been awful this season. some people have been calling ando fat. wat ABT TOURE. HE IS AS FAT AS AN ELEPHANT. i am hoping to see a united team with a lot of fight and grit. i dnt think we will lose this one. RVP TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. even ajax thrashed city and we are better than ajax.
@kanchelskis
mate there has been no news from fergie on andos injury. i wont be surprised if he is infact fit to start.
@ARUN
I’d be inclined to agree with you, but it was Ando’s hamstring. Even a slight hammy tweak tends not to clear up in the space of a week.
@kanchelskis
mate if he is not fit thwn we need to play jones in there with carrick and rooney
Nicely edited vid, and its always nice to see Owen’s winner, but where the F is Nani ?
Hes scored at least three QUALITY goals past City in recent seasons inc one winner.
I know its popular to write him off and all that, but lets not re-write history ffs.
I would feel much more confident knowing he’s in the team for Sunday put it that way.
As for the match, if we play to win, we’ll win – but playing negatively would be suicide.
Even with all the injuries, Ferguson still has the players to take all three points.
I see a 4-3-3 for this one, i think it’s best united,solidify that midfield and protect the backline. The pocket of space is where city mostly operate, we have to shut them down there, the forwards should be given the main responsibility to create. I just hope we see none of Yaya’s solo powerful solo runs, one of the reasons united can’t afford a lethargic performance in midfield. It will be a very difficult game, united need every bit of fortune to crack this city side. Defend well, concentration is important. United’s recent defending feels me with no confidence,i hope they’re on their game come kick off. The forwards have to pounce with the chances we hopefully get. I’d go with most people on here, i would take a draw. Anything more and it would be sweet.
We played a young team against them last year at home, with plenty of so called ‘energy in midfield’.
I think we should pack the midfield, like we did against barca at home in 08. (I’m not sure why we abandoned this midfield system a couple years ago and reverted to 2 in the middle… departure of Q?)
Hopefully on Sunday, Scholes is more advanced and able to hurt them with forward passes if we can break quickly using Valencia.
kill the SOB
@wayne
why dont you give it a rest with all the “troll” and “cunt” comments any time someone deviates from the “everything is perfect” “Fergie is God” “Rooney is a genius” blind mantra.
Its pathetic and does nothing to encourage debate which is what makes a Blog worth reading.
All you try and do is make some pretend friends so you can gang up on someone like a bunch of cowardly jackals. Give it a fuking rest and start to contribute a “thought” to this blog rather than your boring usual snide attacks and pathetic attempt to make yourself look like “the best red there is anywhere”
You are such a needy little child Wayne.
kanchelskis
yes i agree about what kag can give in a few mins on the pitch… but it doesn’t make any sense, we have one of the best teams in our history but we can barely get 1/2 of the fit at a time….
DDG
Raf Vid Evans/ferdinand Evra
Valencia Anderson Young/Nani
Kagawa
RVP Rooney
And we’ll still have one hell of a bench including Jones Giggs scholesy hernandez welbeck carrick
nicky says:
we have one of the best teams in our history
___________________________________________________________________
Many would disagree with you on this, but I actually think it’s not far off the truth, in terms of strength in depth. With the obvious glaring hole in central midfield.
We our injury record was anywhere ‘normal’, the league would be nailed on this year, and I think we’d be expectant of the FA cup and hopeful of the CL. Seriously.
As it is, the league would be incredible. The FA cup would be a pleasant bonus. And the CL is a distant, distant dream.
@kanchelskis
We definitely are starting to assemble something close to a team that can take on all comers
Rafael Vidic Jones are all good but we need a class left back to join us – the other twin will do for me
Midfield is woeful still though – our wingers are either inconsistent or in the case of Young simply far from good enough so a couple of world class wingers are needed still.
As regards centre midfield – Ando and Cleverley are or soon will be good enough as will Powell but we really need two more – a DM who can finally fill Keanos boots and a real creator like Sneijder to add some gravitas.
Up front I am totally happy to have RVP and Chicharito – Danny Welbeck still has me sat on the fence as his feet seem clumsy a lot of the time like they are too big for him.
Will Keane is going to awesome when he comes back and Kagawa will go on to play that in the hole position masterfully.
So a lot is coming together but there is way too much dead wood clogging up the place and a new manager would breath fresh life into things and that is much needed as we are fast becoming dreary to watch and United should NEVER be dreary.
Well if you want to “prove” I exist then you can stand outside W16 and hold a sign saying KingEric and Wayne from ROM and I will happily “prove” that I am a long standing season ticket holder and do in fact have one of those new fancy “GOLD” cards that they gave us this year – As regards to having a pint with you – No thanks, you really dont seem like nice lads to be honest and I think you might actually be even bigger pricks in person but yeah, just let me know when you want to stand outside W16 entrance on a match day and I will “prove” I am a “real” fan and bust ALL your pathetic little conspiracy theories.
I wont bother with having a pint though as I will be with some mates anyway.
Yes Shinji, I don’t mean to be that negative a man, which most of the time I’m not especially when it comes to UTD and SAF, but now it seems as if we’ve been waiting for the team to grow up and click together for ages…
On the other hand …. we’re 1st and 3 points clear, but we could av been 10
@ kanchelskis I would take a point now. With our injuries / defensive form it makes sense. That said, I’ve just got a feeling that we are going to hit form Sunday and come away with all 3. Just a feeling, but heh why not. Reckon we will go tight and look to attack quickly on the counter:
DDG
Smalling Rio Evans Evra
Jones Carrick
Rafa Rooney Welbeck
RVP
Take some of Rafa’s defensive responsibilities away and set him free to do what he does best -ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK. Smalling gives us much more hight defensively and with Jones in there as well we can switch to a very defensive set-up if and when required
shinji i agree this team could in years to come be a team to compete with the best midfield needs essential repairs of that there is no doubt.what sir alex has actually built is a squad rather than a team he sees it as imperative he keeps the squad fresh and with game time behind them for the new year
push.by seeing this squad rotation i agree this does tend to produce drab and dreary displays.i know that the likes of barca dont rotate to the same degree as ourselves however i think the english premiership is the most competitive and challenging league in the world hence this is the price we pay.
” you really dont seem like nice lads to be honest and I think you might actually be even bigger pricks in person ”
Pot calling kettle black. Oh dear. If they’re pricks then what are you? Mary poppins’ dolce gabbana scented ass-hole?
Ninja I’m needy because I’m sick and tired of you slagging off the club manager and players every time you come on,sorry don’t get the correlation there
All you do is talk negative shit what kind of fucking fan are you.I’m working but later I’m going to compile your last 50 posts on ROM,when everyone sees all your comments together it will be mind boggling coming from a so called fan
Been coming on here for years mate everyone knows I don’t give a fuck if people like me or not, so your pop psychology bollocks isn’t going to work
@King Eric.
Difference is Dortmund and Ajax have a very mobile midfield and can keep the ball well. Something we have struggled to do and with anderson and Tom likely out too the midfield will lack pace which could be a problem.
@wayne – just go back three posts and you will see
and by the way, I will post whatever the fuck I want to on here, positive or negative.
Who made you the fucking moderator by the way ? Thought this was Scott the Red`s Blog – why not set up your own Blog and then you can ban anyone who doesnt agree with you – In case you missed it – I think I say a lot of positive things about the things that look good to me.
What I dont like I comment on too as is allowed, expected and even encouraged
It is just so tiring the way you and your cabal always want to question peoples credentials or their “true fan” status if they see anything other than sunshine at Old Trafford.
Sorry to burst your bubble mate but everything is far from perfect and I reckon a lot of fans see what I see and have the courage to voice something other than the “baaaa – baaaaa- baaaaaa” that you seem to insist on.
Go start your own blog and ban me as your first order of business.
@wayne spot on mate.
Why SHINJI you didn’t answer to my post about Rooney and his big game stats????
Or why you didn’t answer the other topic, being a hypocrite supporter like you, who thinks buying a ticket makes you a more a supporter than a lad who can’t just move abroad just for the sake of ManUtd?
If I could, I would buy that season ticket like you do, but more likely be more of a supporter than you, because I wouldn’t moan about everything.
I know that our team is going hard times, but if hard times is being at the top of the league and through the CL, then I will take this for now.
Every team in the PL is struggling, but is it more, because the “small” teams have become more of a threat, Everton, Swansea, WestBromwich, Newcastle etc. Tottenham kinda was once a small team, now it threats the top 3. Newcastle once was a big team, dipped and came threw.
So when all teams are competing hard, and still we manage to be at the top, with an “average” team as you say, then I like it this way.
Our attack of RVP, Chicharito, Rooney, Valencia, Kagawa, Nani and Welbeck is threatening for everyone. How many games they have played together this season?
The midfield is a problem, but that’s why we are a TEAM a SQUAD, and we are at the top of the league. And will stay there after Sunday, MARK MY WORDS.
Rooney and RVP will haunt ManShitty.
peace.
SHINJI
You are a hypocrite. You say this
“It is just so tiring the way you and your cabal always want to question peoples credentials or their “true fan” status”
and then say in the other thread that :
“By the way, this “Troll” paid (forced to) nearly £50 to sit and watch that piss tonight. I am sure you dont actually put any money into the club that you defend so valiantly.”
Then suddelny you are a true supporter and not those who can’t just move abroad and to watch every game.
Shinji – On the contrary pal. I am a bloody decent lad as Deano aka Giggs12, Mike and James will vouch.
Listen to the legend as he says this,
“Over the years Man United have ALWAYS won in dramatic fashion,” the 39-year-old Solskjaer told reporters. “Over the club’s history we’ve had disappointments and it’s always stood up again and bounced back because that’s just in the DNA.
“I think Man United will relish those games, going there knowing it’s not a decider. You can go there try and dominate the game with the players. Van Persie, that signing has been successful already. Maybe you want to wait a year or two to see if it will be a success, but you already know it’s a success.”
Shinji – I disagree on “dreary to watch” . Last 2 or 3 seasons yes but this season it is bloody entertaining. A rollercoaster.
aig – THE aig? How’s tricks?
Funny thing is when Shinji was LORD GAGA he was a fucking good lad. Summat seems to have happened!
@king eric
yes mate. Everything good. Just been busy with college and studies. How are you ?. Good to see you positive as always
WeAreUnited – Exactly . Shinji is giving it large about others making out they are top Reds yet he keeps banging on about how he “goes to the games”.
aig – Ha . I am a positive person generally, always have been. Yeah good thanks mate. My lad nearly a year old now! Haven’t heard from you in time. Mind you I don’t come on much these days. Ha the arguments we have had!! Gotta laugh now really pal.
I am anyhow preparing myself to take a defeat on the Sunday match with city. I somehow cannot see how united is going to win/draw this match with the current level of injuries and form and that too against a team who has not lost a home game for a long time in the premier league…
@ king eric it was me who described the performances as drab and dreary but tried to expand on the reasons why.i have been accused of being negative and not a proper fan but nothing could be further from the truth.i try to say it as i see it and i agree this season has been a roller coaster and it aint doing my nerves any fucking good! i dont agree with shingi over rooney as per my previous threads i would rather have him in my team than playing against us but everybodys entitled to their view and everbodys
opinion is gonna be different.i see shingis opionion about rooney but i think he is wrong but christ i once thought ronaldo was shite once and how fucing wrong was i………………
I know we have a lot of players out , but I have good feeling I think we will win 1-3
pablo – No pal it was Shinji who said Dreary!
@king eric
great to hear that. he must be keeping you busy. Still remember those arguments as you said can only laugh now. You still go to games regularly?
@KE
Really ? Entertaining to watch ? I presume you were at the QPR game ? The West Ham game for example ?
For me, entertaining to watch was the second half against Spurs but maybe we have different expectations.
I want to explain my “not enough ball boys” comment. If we are behind and the clock is ticking is it not better that we are able to instantly get the ball back into play rather than wait for the ball to be recovered by the player or a solitary ball boy ? Its a fact that at Real Madrid they have at least 40 balls and ball boys pitchside to fire the ball back WHEN Madrid are chasing a game – The details are what make a difference so I do say these things for a reason.
Also KE – It matters not what I am called – I am just saying it how I see it. Rooney isn`t all that as far as I am concerned and it takes the piss out of the fans to turn up so overweight for the start of the season so forgive me if I think he is an over-rated prick – Personally I cannot fucking stand him or the way he conducts himself off the pitch – I think he is very unprofessional and that is disrespectful of the club.
Lets not forget, last year we won…………………………. F-U-C-K A-L-L so all is not well at the moment and we havent won anything yet this year either.
We might sneak the League
The FA Cup is……………….. well its the FA Cup so with a bit of luck on the day anythings possible
The CL – Not a fucking chance in hell of winning that – It aint gonna happen. Far too many better teams and tactically better managers.
These are only my opinions and because they differ from the utopian ideal it doesnt mean Im a cunt or a troll.
Ninja you posted something positive after I called you out in calling the City game a battering which it wasn’t. What fan delights in calling a bad result a battering against his own team.Well we’ll see how positive you’ve been over the last 50 comments not counting the obvious throw in after I called you a troll
What is your fucking obession with telling eveyone you go to games nearly every comment,even if you’re not a liar no one gives a fuck its justification to write bile.Yes you can write what you want so can I I’ve just never met any fan in my life who constantly slags the team he supports
Think you’re going to come on here and constantly undermine the club without me saying anything about it you must be joking
This blog is for fans nort cunts
A nice little interview with Mikael Silvestre. Sorry if anyone’s posted it before.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/dec/07/mikael-silvestre-interview-small-talk
God how good is the youth player Yanasay that is not how it’s spelt its sounds.2-2 its a great game
3-2
3-3
Thinking it will be a variation on the diamond again.
Think Smalling will start at RB to cover height at set pieces, with little Rafael to come on and cause hell if we are behind. Although my heart wants Rafael to start. You could see from his reaction after being subbed against Reading, he LOVES this club. No-one on that pitch would give more than him. A close call, aside from Dzeko and maybe Lescott they don’t carry nearly the same physical threat as Reading.
Phil Jones is a DISTINCT possibility in the middle. He’s strong and energetic and won’t let it go. And another big help defending set pieces. Could imagine him teaming up quite nicely with Carrick, not to mention being an excellent foil for Rooney. Use both as proper old school midfield battering rams. And damn the consequences. It could be a case of who, out of him and Fletch, has the legs for it after the game in midweek. Certainly, while Jones is still the more rusty of the two, he is also the more dynamic – some of his movement against Cluj was, on occasion, absolutely mind blowing.
Welbs also has to start. His pace, unpredictability and ability to steal the ball in dangerous areas will be invaluable. Pulling wide and exploiting gaps, he could cause Maicon and Clichy serious problems.
3-3 full time going to extra time
@wayne
losing 6-1 at home is a battering and just because I use the word “battering” doesnt mean I delight in using the word ? You really do try to find the worst in anything I say dont you ?
What was it if it wasnt a battering ? and can you let me know how what I said shows that I “delight” in it?
Should I have called it a magnificent loss full of skill and misfortune because it fucklng wasnt mate – It was a 6-1 battering and you better start seeing things for what they are or you might start thinking Liverpool are a great club like all their deluded fans – Even fucking Gerrard doesnt bother saying “Its our year” anymore so maybe you can face facts too.
Last year City battered us 6-1 at home.
If Maicon starts huge weakness for City he’s shit.Can’t see Rafa not playing Utd are going to be narrow and Rafa is much better getting forward than Smalling,fullbacks could end up playing a big part
Hey Guys.. Check this out, not sure if you’ve seen it before… Danny as a Kid

3-3 half time extra time
3-4
Let’s bring the energy in midfield and height in the back:
DDG
Smalling Rio Evans Evra
Carrick
Rafael Jones Young (or Welbeck)
Rooney RVP
Assuming Valencia is out, I think Rafael is worth a try in Tony V’s spot. He is just a high enery footballer who will give you a good shift almost anywhere.
United out of the youth cup3-4
Sorry, just noticed several others had either thrown out idea of Rafael as right winger or shit upon it. With Valencia and Nani out, I think it makes a lot of sense (more than playing Rooney there or moving Young over there, as I think Young provides good cover for Evra). Also, I don’t think it would be a defensive move, but rather a very attack-minded move as Rafael is an absolute tiger going forward and has put in some excellent crosses.
@Esteban
It would certainly be interesting to eschew him of any real defensive responsibility. There’s every chance the wee lad could tear Clichy a new one. That said, can’t see us playing two wingers. Nor, with Jones and Welbeck, can I see us playing 3 of our more inexperienced players (in a positional sense) centrally. We’ll go narrow but look to spread the play through advancing fullbacks when in possesion.
It wasn’t a fucking battering the whores scored 3 goals in injury time,first half Utd were the better team,the score flattered the cunts
@wayne
Course it wasn’t a battering. 11 v 11 it was our game to lose. 11 v 10, lost it we did. Still fucking proud of the way we didn’t give it up, even if the late goals mean the scoreline flatters us even less.
There is a good reason for that defeat despite the battling performance.I cant find any for the display at the Etihaad.
think the city fans who were screaming in my face after the game walking down sir matt busby way saw it as nothing more than a fucking battering
If we go in there and play the way we did when we visited the Etihad for the big premier league game then we will get fucking SMASHED. There NO drive no passion. We were scared of them. We HAVE to attack them. There is NO OTHER way we will win this game other than attacking them. Our defence has not been good, our midfield for the game is old and worn out. All signs point to “ATTACK or lose this game horribly.”

after watching this video that was linked here, I am so pumped right now,
We have to win that ManCity team. IT IS A MUST. No matter how, counter attack, slow play, set-pieces, corner kick, freekick, hitting a ball in front of the goal, bicycle kick, a header, whatever it is.
We have to win this and show them, and remind them who are the real Champions of England and Europe.
We Are ManUtd and we’ll do what we want!!!!

It’s not about us being superior, it’s about you and your mates being trolling cunts.
You are not a United supporter, and neither is Ninja Cunt. You are both in it for yourselves.
You don’t give a fuck about the Club, the team, the players, the staff, or the supporters.
You only care about yourselves, and your bragging rights.
You are not in our Club.

It’s like playing Fifa 13 … Danny can have magical touches… still needs much improvement but time on the pitch will make him grow as a great pro
