VIDEO: Anderson Scores In Brazil 5-0 Win

Anderson is hugely popular with the United faithful, showing bags of skill, confidence, fight, and potential to become one of the World’s greatest.

The only area he has been lacking so far is in the scoring department, with his debut season finishing without a goal. Some might say he made up for this with his penalty against Chelsea in the European Cup final though.

However, Anderson was playing in Brazil’s 5-0 routing of New Zealand, opening the scoring with 4 minutes played. Ronaldinho (AC Milan), Pato (AC Milan) and Rafael Augusto Sobis (Real Betis) were the other goalscorers.

  2. Craig Mc says:

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ – we need our new strikers and PRONTO!.

Im not too concerend that Anderson didnt score last year. There is so much more to come from this lad, he is the most individualy talented player we signed last summer out of the four.

Craig Mc: United managed to win a double last year with 2 strikers so why all of a sudden is it an emergency to get a striker in? We didnt start last season on fire, picking up 2 points out of 9 and struggling to score so I wouldnt panic. I would rather keep our money then spend 20 million on a washed up prick like Henry. As for the zzzzzzzzzzz, I was quite happy with the team performance. Its a pre season friendly basically and United kept the ball really well and looked solid against a decent Portsmouth side. The real business starts next Sunday and im fully confident of starting with a win.

    Still took him 3 attempts.
    God bless him.

I think our midfield is strong with Hargreaves, Anderson, Carrick and Possebon coming in. Where we need reinforcements is what SAF knows
and that’s upfront. There are a few targets that if I were in SAFs shoes would go for: 1 – ADRIANO (Inter Milan), 2 – BENZEMA (Olymipique Lyon) 3 – VILLA (Valencia) and 4 – AGUERO (Athletico Madrid).

They are all in that early to late twenties and have the pace, skill, technique and attitude to fit into the way we play, plus they can SCORE goals. Plus they are all hungry to establish themselves with a bigger club. I think it would be money well spent if SAF paid £25 million or more for any of these strikers.
People may say “well we didn’t need stikers last season and did the double”. True, but I would say always add quality to your squad when you are on top. It’s important to know that even though Frazier Campbell has a bright future at Man Yoo, he is still learning his trade and I think SAF will use him sparingly. And it would be putting too much pressure on him if you just threw him into the deep end.

We have to hit the ground running and as the new season is upon us it’s imperative that the team kill games off and put away chances (YES unlike Flethcher).

Let me throw this one out to you all. How about Diego Forlan coming back?
    Now that would be interesting.

Anderson, our midfield magician, destroyed Fabregas & Gerrard with the latter resulting in trying to bully the 19 year old, to no effect

Class for the brass, the lad is 19 and will hopefully play on to become a UNited legend, an exciting player indeed & he hasnt really begun yet!!!

  7. albeeee says:

Anderson is pure class scoring or not that’s that. Now get a solid stricker and lets do the only thing we did’nt do last season …….THE TREBLE!!!
