After scoring on the pre-season against Boca Juniors, Anderson found the back of the net again when playing with the Reserves against Wigan Reserves last night.
United went a goal behind before Anderson equalised just before half time. Magnus Eikrem scored the winner for United early in to the second half.

ok mate.but did united ever go to the press and talk crap that we want to sign him and blah blah.i am talkinsg about unsettling a player publically which is what real did.we did not tell berba to break his contract or start making statements in public about his dream.he said it was his dream only after he made the move.you can understand his reluctance for not wanting to join shitty and wanting to join a club that competes on all fronts and wins trophies rather than one that wins carling cup once is 100 years or so.
why is Anderson playing in a reserve match? He was also not in the main Champions League roster, is there maybe some truth to his fallout with SAF? :\
He wasn’t on the main CL roster because why waste a main slot for a player who qualifies for the B list. It allowed us to name players like Macheda and even Hargreaves in the CL squad who otherwise would have been left out completely.
As for playing in the reserves, a few of the players around the edges of the first 11 have played for the reserves this season. The minutes help them with their fitness. Now if he had started every match and was then put in the reserves you would worry

Osci – thanks for that update. It’s good to learn that he’s being re-deployed in the role for which he’s best suited. I think that this is part of a re-think about the formations which UTD might use – I don’t believe that 4-4-2 will be used all the time. In some games – and against some opponents – I think that SAF will use a variant of a 4-3-3/4-5-1 and that Anderson will probably be used in that way. I’m quite optimistic that Hargreaves will come back to full match-fitness and he will probably be used alongside Carrick and Fletcherinho as one of the “2″ and with Anderson as one of the “3 or 5″. That said, however, I’d still like to see Anderson/Fletcherinho as the “2″.

Ando played much deeper than Matt James and Sam Hewson with Eikrem playing on the left! Look good tho passing was different class and bs attitude seemed good considering it was a reserve game!
Magnus is still very young, but Ive been following him, and im tipping him for a big break soon
Andy cannot head the ball, runs out of steam in the game anf if faced with a quck opponent cannot keep up. His shooting is poor and he cannot pass with his right foot his tacliking is very average. i cannot see this guy making the grade to be a full time MUFC player week in week out unless he puts more effort into improving his all roud effectivness. He ha a good left foot and attemts to pass the ball into good areas but hi completion rate is low The young lad magnus was vand has been ery impressive every time i have seen him. He very rarely gives the ball away and completes more passes.
on a second point Rafeal needs some lessons o who to defend at the moment he is getting by with his pace to aid his recovery but he was dreadful defending last night in the reserves.
