  2. Toby says:

    get in son!

  3. Toby says:

keeper should of saved it though haha

  4. doubletrouble says:

    Bebe haters where are you?

  5. Costas says:

    @Toby

Glass half full. The shot was too hot for him to handle. :)

  6. Scarfo says:

The keeper needs to take a long, hard look at himself. To be honest, there’s no way Bebe should be shooting from there, but fair play to the lad, it’s a goal.

Any word on his overall play?

  7. Mic says:

Least he’s improving, i’m still shocked we signed him (.6m more and we could’ve had VDV though this doesn’t include wages) I really hope he’s the big deal, still struggle to see how we paid so much considering we don’t have Homer Simpson negotiating for us …or do we?

  8. Redbeard says:

    Dodgy keeper!!!

  9. Costas says:

Rooney is starting. Lescott is also starting. It took injuries to the majority of England’s defenders in order for him to start for England, lol.

  10. kyth says:

Tt’s just a bad pointless cross had there been a decent keeper.

  11. man united says:

song for bebe. o bebe o bebe he canme from no were o bebe he canme friom no were but fergie got on him. o bebe is now man united player o bebe canme from no were. that is our bebe o bebe

  12. ben says:

at least the coach has seen it fit to start him twice in a row. must be looking better than everythin else they got in training

  13. cantona7 says:

not wanting to take the credit away; congrats Bebe!

  14. King Eric says:

Why do people have to take negatives all the time? Its madness. The kid scores yet people bang on about he shouldn’t be shooting and bad keeping (which it was) but bloody hell.

  15. FletchTHEMAN says:

I think the goal looked well crafted. Tight angle, nice curling ball that might have looked off course before it swung in at pace. Also, skipping the ball right in front of the keeper is always a tricky move. Remember lads, if you don’t shoot, you don’t score. From the little we have of his highlight reel, he gets a lot of power in his shot with very little build up. I think the confidence will grow. Remember, he is now our U21 on the Portugesse National team. We have gotten some class from that route, lets hope Bebe is the next to develop. Give him 3-4 years and see what we get. In the mean time, I for one want to be positive about his potential.

  16. Costas says:

Just remembered that the goal looks very similar to the winning goal Beckham scored against Middlesbrough at OT in 2000.

  17. doubletrouble says:

The goalkeeper should have saved it but a goal is a goal, if he had scored that for United in the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League Final everyone would be happy

  18. Troy says:

    Song for Bebe?

I got you Bebe. I got you bebe. I got youuuuuuuuuu Bebe.

  19. SirAlex'sSon says:

Ppl lets simply give credit were its due…well done son.

I know he still has some way to go, but the lad is definitely taking the right steps – faced with the crazy media circuse, being really talked down by majority – getting this goal can only raise his self confidence, which is what he needs most if he is to make it. And hopefully he will.

  20. united.george says:

    ROOONEY scores!!!

  21. ryder91 says:

    THANK FUCK ROONEY SCORESSSSS

  22. SirAlex'sSon says:

    Get in there roooo!!!

  23. TonyBee says:

    anyone got any links

  24. MG says:

Er… England fans are cheering on Wayne

    Weird

  25. Costas says:

First Rooney goal from open play after close to 6 months.

Scandal or no scandal, he looks like he is getting back in the groove.

  26. Costas says:

First Van Persie and now Walcott. I feel bad for Wenger’s wife…

  27. Mahesh says:

Yeah its sad that suddenly rooney scoring doesn’t mattter to me anymore – watching the game tonight, I know I love how he plays but I realize that its not every going to be the same anymore…And him looking in form doesn’t matter either, because what really does is what SAF does once Rooney gets back…I am as nervous about tomorrow when Rooney goes back to OT, as I would be on the final day of the premier league with us tied on points at the top. The next few days will shape the future of United for years to come. If SAF finds a way to rehabilitate Rooney and

  28. united.george says:

Rooney is looking very good. Still setting up the rest of the team, but defoe has not done anything with the passes he received from rooney.

  29. Lanaya says:

walcott will be out for a long time lol

  30. Dazbowski says:

Sorry but laughing at injuries is moronic, i love united but don’t want other players badly injured. Cretin

  31. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ King Eric – Spot on mate. There seems to be a lot of people on here looking at all the negative points about everyone at the moment. Come squeaky bum time the vast majority of them would have changed their tune.

  32. hooligankicker says:

    @Costas

Ha ha…so right. It’s just Sept 7th and the Gooners are out of the league title race because of 2 injuries and no depth in the squad……as good a manager as he might be I’d be so frustrated with him if I was a Gooner….

  33. Champ says:

    I hope he’s right footed?

  34. Costas says:

    @hooligankicker

It’s a bad break for Walcott too. He was starting to come along quite well. It would be the equivalent of us losing Nani. Don’t know how much Wenger is to blame to be honest. Maybe if he wasn’t such a moaner, karma wouldn’t punish him, lol. Just kidding…

  35. willierednut says:

Mahesh – Wind your neck in ffs, if you don’t wanna support Rooney, then just leave it to the rest of us to support him.

  36. RedScot says:

I would kill that Bastard Ladyman that writes in the Daily Snail. The way he writes tripe and nonesense about this lad. Fucks sake give youth a chance in the words of one John Lennon. ohh no that’s peace. lol

  37. Zombie Cucumber says:

Here’s hoping City signs that Macedonian keeper soon!

  38. RED MANCUNDONIAN says:

Scott, thank you for writting Macedonia, and not F.Y.R.O.M., sincerely thank you !!!
THERE WILL BE NO LIFE WITHOUT MANCHESTER UNITED, FULL STOP !!!

  39. Gudjohnsen says:

Wasn’t this just Bebe’s second international game for his U21 country?

  40. Buliwyf says:

    wow :-/

  41. Chep says:

    ROFL http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11679_6364545,00.html

Tevez`s “perfect” english and Mancini`s as well – what a great leading partnership in da club

  42. matttt says:

The fact that everyone is so interested in a non event fuels the press and doesn’t help the lad.

Just leave him alone and if he’s any good then he’ll do alright

But just forget about him for a year rather than reporting when he tackles someone in training

  43. King Eric says:

Mahesh – Are you serious in that post? Fergie WILL stand by Wayne, end of. It isn’t the biggest thing that will shape United for years. Bit over the top mate.

  44. King Eric says:

Chep – Those cunts make me sick at Citeh. Comparing the Judas Tevez to Maradona at Napoli. Fuck sake.

  45. Gary says:

What a screamer. The keeper stood no chance.

  46. Eric the King says:

Bebe has done nothing wrong thus far to deserve such a harsh treatment from the British media. I have read an excellent article to prove my point

    http://www.thehardtackle.com/index.php/manchester-uniteds-corner-let-my-bebe-be/

I think all United fans and specially the media men should read this
