VIDEO: Captain’s Log

I had this on VHS when I was a kid and with all the focus on Steve Bruce at the weekend I was reminded of it. If you haven’t seen it, well worth watching, and if you have, it’s well worth watching again.

Steve Bruce, Captain’s Log.

I’ve still got a copy of Captains Log but unfortunately nothing to play it on! Love Steve Bruce and hoped that Hull would win the FA Cup but alas not.

There was a man who would put everything on the line for United, top man.

Remember watching it all those years ago. Mind you I bet most Liverpool fans still have VCR’s so that they can relive the league title wins from the 80s!

I look forward to having a look at that later.

What I couldn’t get over at the weekend was how big Bruce has gotten. In that white shirt he looked like a fucking polar bear in the technical area. He was absolutely fucking huge.

When I look at Tom Ince all I see is the wee naked boy from the Captain’s Log videos!

I just love Van Gaal’s statement…Í’m SURE together we will make history’..not ‘I’ll TRY and make history’. shows the difference in mentality between Moyes and Van Gaal’.

    Louis van Gaal said:

“It was always a wish for me to work in the Premier League. To work as a manager for Manchester United, the biggest club in the world, makes me very proud. I have managed in games at Old Trafford before and know what an incredible arena Old Trafford is and how passionate and knowledgeable the fans are. This club has big ambitions; I too have big ambitions. Together I’m sure we will make history.”
