He couldn’t wait to be done with the interview, lol.
Glad I stayed up to watch his debut now! Looked sharp for his first game and took his goal well. Fingers crossed the boy can settle quickly and progress in the right way. If anyone can help him SAF can. If so we might just have a young Michael Owen.
What’s great about him is his ability to remain unfazed and composed despite the massive pressure on his shoulders, his goal wasn’t an easy one, but he kept his ground. Even the top strikers may have failed to finish it off. Fantastic attitude too, keep it up lad.
can we actually use these young players that we sign up for more than 2 games a season

ManchestHairUnited I agree completely with that. Let us give Cleverley, Macheda, Rafael, Fabio and co. much more playing time. Only change in the squad I would make is Carrick out and Ozil in. Other than that it is a complete team!
and he already speaks and understands english? he’s gonna fit in just nicely.
I’m loving him.. he is going to be HUGE! I can see nothing but No 7 for him!
Mechada was Good too.. Flect and Cleverly also ! .. I’m so looking forward to start the season!
i love this guy!!!
Our whole team was hot last night, sharp, energetic, organized, intense — in fact, the polar opposite of the previous game against Kansas. When we had the ball, the passing was crisp, fluid, accurate and intelligent. And when we didn’t have the ball, we hounded them to death. I said on Sunday I thought some of our younger players went out a bit naive, maybe thinking they only needed to turn up in order to win. There was none of that last night.
I haven’t been a huge fan of Kiko, but he took both his goals well, especially the first. He was onto that loose ball like a fly on a hot sausage and took it really well. Great headers for the second.
I haven’t been a fan of Gibson either, but that was a bloody pearler of a free kick. Well, hey, for both him and Kiko, I’m happy to be proved wrong.
Cleverley’s goal was a stunner. This guy has amazed me on this tour. You know, given the new squad rules, I don’t know why he is being sent out on loan. I’d throw him into the deep end. Cleverly turns 21 on August 12, but under the new rules, would be considered U21 for the entire season (the rules say “under the age of 21 on 1st January in the year in which the season commences”). I guess if he goes out on loan, there will be the opportunity to recall him if needed. It was a genuine two-footed goal, haven’t seen one of those in a while.
And as for Chicharito, the goal was really impressive. A lot of strikers, even some very good ones, might have stuffed that up.
I’ve already seen some fans playing down the victory by saying the MLS All-Stars didn’t have much time to train together. But this is a best-of representative team that is always thrown together, and which has never lost in regular time to any European club. They may not be superstars, but they’re not muppets either. This was a good win by our guys, not just on the scoreboard, but in attitude and all-round execution, and it bodes very well for the upcoming season. Cheers!
I think I have a Man crush.
Great shout for No 7, @Lucas.
He seems to have that about him.
And that he speaks fluent English *has* to be huge, huge benefit.
@maverick99sback
you put it all nicely… ! He’s speaking good English! Remind me of Ronaldo.. my gut feeling he will be better! Said too soon… well! That’s me!
now that a lot number of doubters have seen what Hernandez can do with the ball, it only remains a time that premier league starts and the kid grab all the headlines. Macheda is probably the best centerforward man u has and with all other strikers around him, he is gonna be the greatest man u has ever had. the boy needs game time like all the younger players man u has. by the way, where is Rodrigo Possebon?
german media; man united will make a formal offer for ozil before the end of agust. here is a reliable source; www. sport.couk.com
@immanuelho
wish i knew re Rodrigo. the lad was going to be huge until that thug got to him.
as for Chicharito, can’t wait to see the lad in action! i think i’ll get his name and number on my shirt (100% fake of course, no money to the Glazers).
hopefully, he can settle down quickly and score a lot of goals. cant wait to see him and macheda together playing in the league cup.
bookies have ozil 1-5 to join united. has to be bullshit??
Whisper it quietly, i think we’ve got a top player on our hands, reminds me of the great Jimmy Greaves.
Posse Posse Possebom could really see the pitch. Seem a huge find, but now he seems a shadow of himself after Pogatetz.
WOW.
I could almost turn Gay listening to him. lol
Humble polite and acknowledges the Manager correctly as Sir, and the pass from Darren.
“I am going to work hard” Javier Hernandez*.28/07/2010
go on Chici ya boy ya!
Last time the tour came to the USA we brought back Ronaaldo, this time it’s The little pea. Exciting. I was also impressed with Cleverly last night, first time I saw what the fuss was about. Would be good to see these guys out of the Carling Cup crew and into the Prem games.
