Only stats that matter United turned up.

  4. hammons says:

classy finishes by Chicharito – complete unselfishness of Berba to the most selfish player in the squad.

  6. Kenyan Reds says:

great great all we want is goals

  7. eddieTheRed says:

Why can’t Gibson make passes like that in every match?

  8. tallared1 says:

Well done Fabio lad, kept cool and finished well…..

  9. Brizeeeeeeeeee says:

    Fantastic goals……all assists i think!

  10. dazbomber says:

Hernandez stats 13 shots on goal , 9 goals

  11. King Eric says:

eddiethered – To be fair mate he did against Crawley and Marseille .

smartalex – No need to meet on the Giggsy thread now. All will be good in the Republik.

Giles – Hello mate, hope you are keeping ok. Yeah I say exactly the same. United drop points and it completely ruins my weekend. I cannot watch anymore games, match of the day, Football first. I cannot even listen to the radio!!

  12. theboogeyman says:

    Come on Brum now!

  13. Passe says:

VDS made up for the fumble against WBA at home. Absolutely magnificent goalkeeping! We are going to miss him next season for sure.

I think everyone needed that. A (relatively) comfortable AWAY win.

  14. Costas says:

Yep, a big thanks to VDS for keeping us alive. And what can you say about Little Pea? 13 goals with the amount of time he’s played is amazing.

  15. bruce thomas says:

Yep, United turned up. Maybe they were saving it all for this week!! Gibson great pass to set up 3rd goal. Carrick breaking up play. Vidic immense as ever. Smalling continuing to impress. Hernandez great finishing. Now for the Renties and the Rat Munchers.

  16. HARGREAVES' CURLY HAIR says:

Fantastic win,Chicha is class young predatory finisher who waits for that little space,he’ll be a top lethal finisher that lad ;)

Berba truly class unselfish,Brilliant ball over to Berba by Gibbo. Great to see Fabio scoring it was well taken and he deserved it :)

Next up on the menu Chelski!!! Come On United

  17. Konjour says:

    4 great goals..4 great points clear..Way to go,United..we rock!!!

  18. pmcelevey1 says:

Scott if you can, can you upload the goals from the youth team today vs blackburn. Ravel morrison looking unreal with two goals!!

  19. Timothy mulenga mwenya says:

Great perfomance man untd, hope to see this 4-0 on tuesday.but i know it will happen.

  20. Xyth says:

If, and I BELIEVE that we should, win the next two matches we will be Champions. That would surely knock the stuffing out of Arse!!!!

  21. dannysoya says:

that performance was fucking amazing. Win the next two games and we take a giant step towards becoming champions. i am excited.

  22. Kings says:

4 Great finishes. Great 3 points. Bring on the rent boys. I would have been sick to the stomach the whole weekend if we had dropped points, now I can relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend. I will be watching football first, hoping Sarah Jane Mee is wearing something skimpy before I get to watch United!

  23. smartalex says:

Well done United! Glory days beckon, come on United!

OK, so no parachute thread required, King Eric, tremendous.

I want to see a James McCarthy interview, and get a look at the remains of his ear.
Rooney’s body parts, one week it’s his shin, next, it’s his elbow.

  24. Xyth says:

Great first two goals for Chicharito. I hope this the first of many for Fabio.

The third goal should serve as a football school-book example of what the football is all about – team not personal glory. Well done Berba. He deserves more than just an assist for that! I hope Nani was watching!

  25. Joel says:

Delighted by that, wasn’t expecting a four goal win especially after a midweek European away game, nice to see Chicharito lethal as usual and all three subs contributing very positively. Best possible result ahead of two tough away games.

  26. Dandivine7 says:

Would love to see this formation used today in Big games. Nani on the left thus allowing Fletcher, Carrick and Scholes/Ando to be a three man midfield when defending while going forward would be great too. Roll On Tuesday

  27. Ryandunny says:

Now I can enjoy the weekend… haven’t stopped smiling since the Hernandez scored his second goal…
    Bring on Chelsea!!!

  28. willierednut says:

RE Wayne: Hate to be a conceited prick mate, but I thought Hernandez would start, and that he’d score. You have my sincere apologies, for me being spot on. :D

  29. willierednut says:

Anyone catching the Dortmund, Bayern game on espn? What a game so far. 2 1 Dortmund.

  30. King Eric says:

Still gonna catch us John you filthy rentboy scum? 15 points is it now? Cunt.

  31. smartalex says:

Apologies accepted Willierednut , soothsayer supremo.

  32. Costas says:

Ok, question of the day. It was bugging me all week and today reinforced my belief. Had Chicharito come on for the last 15 minutes of the Marseille game, could we have nicked a winner?

  33. Costas says:

Oh and anyone notice O’Shea’s nutmeg? He’s still got it. ;)

  34. King Eric says:

Costas – Yes I am pretty sure we would, almost convinced. the kid is a goal machine. 13 goals already in his first season. Smacks of Ole.

  35. Ryandunny says:

    Costas

    I did…. it’s becoming a trademark for him now! :)

    My question:

Hernandez or Smalling? Which was the better buy?

  36. AlphaRS says:

Loving the celebrations with Fabio. That is the United Family going on there.

  37. CedarsDevil says:

The big talking point is that the fact that we scored 4 BUT that Rooney should have seen red!

    ‘Townsend’

  38. hammons says:

    @ryandunny

Sorry to but in, but i would not say either of them … Bebe is. Kidding of course.

All joking aside I would have to give the nudge to Hernandez. 13 goals in your debut season in a foreign league is never easy. …. Composure of both is impressive

  39. Costas says:

    @King Eric

That’s what frustrated me most last Wednesday mate. That we had an alternative plan that could have won us the game. Hopefully we won’t need it at all against Marseille.

    @Ryan

Tough to say. Both of them have exceeded expectations. If Fergie can find a similar bargain for the midfield area in the summer, that will help us rebuild it.

  40. Red Devil Canuck says:

Good game! That was definitely a good way to get ourselves some momentum going into the next few big matches. VDS was huge in the first half when we needed him to make those big saves. Always glad to see Chicharito playing well – he’s such a good finisher.
Looks like the da Silva brothers might score a few more goals for us than the Nevilles. Hopefully they can last as long and be as important as the Nevilles were.

  41. Red Devil Canuck says:

    @Ryandunny

I’m thinking along the same line as hammons – Smalling has been huge and really stepped up to fill the void left by Rio’s injury, but it’s hard to argue with 13 goals. Hopefully they keep improving – both look to have lots of potential.

  42. smartalex says:

Costas – It’s difficult to guess why we didn’t bring Hernandez on for the last 15 minutes in Marseilles. We are clear that it was considered by Sir Alex, Mike, Rene, and the other 330 million of us. I guess that it would have interfered with our 2-leg strategy. Our focus would have had to change from ‘hoping to nick it’, to ‘trying to win it’. Also, possibly we need him available as an unknown entity, should we concede at home. No amount of videos can prepare you for Ole, I mean Javier.

  43. FletchTHEMAN says:

GOALS GOALS GOALS, AND THEN ANOTHER GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
I feel I WILL FINALLY ENJOY A WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Expect no one will be slagging the lads this week.

AHHHHHHHHHH, grab a bottle and join me in the hot tub lads, the water is fine……………..

  44. BerbaGod says:

    Willie

I completely forgot that game.. Too busy.. erm.. discussing with people..
    Certainly worth watching.

  45. MG says:

    Did I miss anything ;)

  46. Ryandunny says:

    @ hammons – Costas – Red Devil

Ya I would agree…. thinking the amount of times he’s saved us too… Smalling isn’t too far behind though!

  47. Marq says:

Good win. VDS was massive in the first half, credits to him as well. Seems like Sir Alex’s final challenge is to replace VDS, Scholes and Giggs.

Off topic. Former Spurs, Southampton defender Dean Richards has passed away at the age of 36. Alhough he was not a very famous player, but I do recall him as being quite a decent defender. RIP

  48. smartalex says:

MG – You missed plenty, and were missed plenty.

  49. CedarsDevil says:

Fuuuuuuuckkkk… I should be so happy after this result, yet I am watching the after game show and all they are talking about is the fact that Rooney should have been sent off for his elbow!

Fuck off Townsend you fucking sick twisted prick of a pundit, fuck you for ruining my evening you sick bastard, fuck you for having a name you fucking sick soul of a human being……… FUCK YOU

  50. Costas says:

    @MG

You missed a bitter by the name of Alex Blue. ;)

  51. willierednut says:

Marq – Yeah mate. I posted about Deano on another thread. Very good CH and a decent bloke, apparently.

@MG You missed a sad City fan last night, on here, spouting more nonsense.

  52. Kings says:

CedarsDevil – Hello mate. Yeah they’re on overdrive on Sky Sports News about Rooney. Fucking cunts the lot of them. Fergie said that no doubt a huge issue will be made of it and the result will be academic. As for Townsend, he’s a bitter cunt because Fergie had no interest in signing him in the early 90s. It amazes how wasters like that cunt are allowed to be pundits, having a dig at United at every given opportunity. Scum. Roll on Tuesday mate and let’s hope for another 3 points towards reclaiming what is rightfully ours.

  53. stretfordend_ryda says:

i think hernandez should start all the away games! he is our top scorer away from home this season!

  54. MG says:

smartalex Costas willierednut and RedScot who mentioned me somewhere earlier and anyone else I have missed

    Gentlemen

    Fellow Reds

Relentless we march on their is no turning back.

    Not now.

  55. gora says:

    guys what does ABU mean?

  56. willierednut says:

    Anyone but United.

  57. mark flynn says:
