  7. NotoriousRedDevil says:

You sure we want Lewandowski? Just play Hernadez a lot more next season. Hopefully him and Welbeck can start a few games together and get some sort of a partnership going,

  8. Fred says:

Delete this monstrosity of a post, StR.

  9. MG says:

The further United don’t lay on the further Fred turns to the dark side

  10. Fred says:

If I’m not mistaken that was John “JP” Rodrigues of the Tampa Bay Rowdies with the own goal for Guyana.

  11. Mikekelly12 says:

OG Scores Again for Mexico! United’s 2010/11 goalscoring sensation popped up to secure a 3-0 lead for the Mexicans!

    Cedars
You getting drunk under the table again pal?? Have fun.

  19. aimanunited says:

I think Dos Santos has a good chemistry with Chicha and he’s a great talent as well, scores some wonder goal – latest against brazil..
I know we don’t need another winger but we could sign him on cheap as a backup player…
    just my opinion though..

  20. united.george says:

goal by salcido was very scholes like as well….

great work by javier. but until he scores a goal with his left testicle, he will always be average in my book….

  21. Fred says:

aimanunited – did you see his goal against the USA last summer? Incredible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Roc2lf6Zek 8)

  22. denton davey says:

    Chicharito “only” scores goals.

The cross from Guardado was perfect – a left-footed version of Antonio Valencia’s trademark: low and hard. Give Chicharito service like that and he’ll light-the-lamp.

  23. Fred says:

    Nick Power goalfest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxBGmPUDG5Y
Some of the strikes on there… This kid is no joke.

  24. Fred says:

Correction: MOST of the strikes on there…

  25. Fred says:

Today’s predictions: Netherlands 2-0 Denmark, Germany 3-1 Portugal.

  26. Dazbomber says:

A lot of the Dutch team look like door men , a bit thuggish

  27. mancdub says:

    Fred
Thanks for the Powell link. I was looking for one last week and all I could find was him scoring one goal for England under 20′s.
Now he’s got his own 5 min vid with backing music.
    The kid looks quality.

  28. WillieRedNut says:

Don’t worry about Cedars? More life on tramps vest, then on here! :D Your man Johnny?

  29. Dazbomber says:

I keep picturing Van Bommel with a long leather coat on , saying sorry no trainers.

  30. WillieRedNut says:

Denmark looking to pinch this one…….. 8)

  31. Mikekelly12 says:

My pre match predictions were 3-1 Holland and 2-1 Germany.

  32. Mikekelly12 says:

Huntelar will come on and turn it around.

  33. MG says:

I think the Dutch are seeing double at the moment

  34. MG says:

It’s ok Ruud will do it alongside Bergkamp

And Gullit will get the third

  35. Mikekelly12 says:

Bryan Robson was one of Stevie Me’s heroes??!! A United player?! Well I never. Maybe Stevie Me does have half a brain?!

  36. Mikekelly12 says:

    Is DeJong better than Strootman??

  37. Fred says:

The Dutch appear to be suffering a severe case of Dehli belly imho.

Mike – Stevie G-String used to wear his mate’s United shirt and run around pretending to be Robbo when they were kids. True story.

  38. Mikekelly12 says:

    Fred
Seriously? Well I would normally say he’s gone up in My estimations but….. Nah, he’s a cunt!

  39. Mikekelly12 says:

    Courtesy of Danny :
Went to a Dutch restaurant last week. I found a speedy young winger in my starter.’Waiter!”, I yelled. There’s Affelay in my soup!”.

  40. Fred says:

Gerrard, 26, was not always such a dyed-in-the-wool Red, though. Remarkably, for a player who openly admits he could never envisage signing for hated rivals Manchester United, he once had to be ordered to stop living out a childhood dream that he was a Scouse version of Old Trafford legend Bryan Robson.

The young Gerrard seized the chance to borrow a friend’s United replica shirt, complete with Robson’s No 7 on the back, until his father pointed out the error of his ways.

He said in his recent autobiography: “I detested United with a passion and loathed the idea of putting on one of their strips. But this was different.

“A mate owned a Robson top. We were kicking about, and I asked if I could be Robbo for a while. I slipped out of my Liverpool shirt and put the Robson one on, and it felt fantastic. I wore it for an hour, charging all over, flying into tackles, scoring brave goals, pretending I was him.

“Because it had Robson’s name on it, I forgot about the United bit. It didn’t seem like treachery. Unfortunately, my dad looked out and went ballistic. ‘Get inside now’, he screamed. Scarcely through the door, I ran into a right good grilling. ‘What the hell are you playing at, wearing a United shirt?’ he asked.

‘But, dad, it’s Bryan Robson’s', I explained. Dad couldn’t have cared less. It was United, and he wasn’t having any kid of his dragging the Gerrard name through the Huyton gutter. What would the neighbours think? Honestly, I thought we were going to have to move house.”

  45. cubs says:

When I first started watching the EPL I liked watching England play. Now fuck no. The walking talking cunts make me ILL!

  46. Fred says:

Fair play to Denmark. I don’t think the Dutch are going to turn this around. Interesting start to the “group of death”, that’s for sure.

  47. cubs says:

    I love the MUFC CUNT’S!

  48. Mikekelly12 says:

Sneijder is playing some great balls to the front men. Such a quality player when he’s on song!

  49. Fred says:

Wesley Sneijder is a joy to watch, I must say.

  50. MG says:

King Eric had a post on Kagawa. Good to see people like him see what I saw. You see. See, saw.;-);-)

  57. cubs says:

    ;-) :-):-(

  58. Fred says:

Considering that he’s probably their most noted player over here, Bendtner is the worst player in this Denmark side. What a lazy, useless cunt.

  59. WillieRedNut says:

First upset! Old twitchy arry called this one. :D The Dutch lacked courage for me. ;)

  60. cubs says:

    Great Day for the Danes.

  61. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Hello cubs – Glad you see the fuss about Kagawa. Truly pleased we’ve got him should all be tied up in a week officially.

How did the ref miss that handball. Clear penalty. Dear me, 3 games and already we’ve had 2 incompetent refs!!!

  62. cubs says:

Wilie on Suday my blood line plays. The Irish and Italians. :-) :-)

  63. Rufus the Thief says:

the Dutch (my second team) doing a United? Anyway hope England are home before the post cards and come on Ireland! it’s not united but it is nice to have a bit of footie on in the summer. do we agree?

  64. united.george says:

robben was too selfish as usual and playing as if the CL final was still going on…

the wonder strikers, Snow White and the Huntelaar were wasteful today….

Something tells me many of the good teams will get knocked out of the euros if we want to continue the tradition of this football season.

  65. Fred says:

Ahh that’s the Mississippi, the mighty Mississip. The old Miss. The old man.

Deeeeep River, my home is over Jordan…

  66. cubs says:

Mr. Flintstone, rocken and rollen as Per the usee.

  67. NotoriousRedDevil says:

  74. WillieRedNut says:

    @Sandeep

    Evening mate. ;)

  75. Fred says:

Sandeep – it seems my hatred of Vidic is second only to my hatred of Chicharito. Who knew?

  76. Sandeep1878 says:

    Cedars,

heard Robin Van Persie was found in somebody’s pocket? ;)

  77. iced earth says:

According to reports Manchester United have agreed terms with Borussia Dortmund for striker Robert Lewandowski. The Daily Star claims United have agreed a £16 million deal for the marksman and will complete the deal after the tournament.United are believed to have offered the Poland international a four-year deal worth around £70,000 a week.

  78. Dazbomber says:

Click Manchester reporting that United have agreed terms for Robert Lewandowski at £16 mill

  79. united.george says:

Kjaer was pretty good today I thought. I remember we were linked with him a couple of years ago.

    Cmon Nani! Score today!

  80. cubs says:

With KagaBunga all is good, if no more come, cool. SAF has earned my trust. I believe he will get 2 to 4 more depending on the kids he gets? Angelo and Nick would be kids. Kagwa is no kid will be 24 next year with 2 German tittles to boot. When TC got hurt and Fletch was not himself, with Scholes not there, then andeson went down, Giggs could do just so much, the Rooney asked to be the link of MF and the fowards, a weakness of his, he looked some what lost at times in the last 14 games or so.
WITH KAGWA,SCHOOLES,TC,GIGGS,PETRUCCI WAZZA CAN PLAY HIS GAME AND HELP ON OCCASION TO LINK MF!

  81. Fred says:

united.george – yes, I remember us being linked with him quite regularly.

Robin van Pissy was crap today, as was Arjen Bobbins. Time to give the latter the hook from my fantasy football teams…

  82. Robbo says:

    Sneijder = class.

Certainly could of used him last season.

  83. WillieRedNut says:

    Daily Star.

  84. WillieRedNut says:

That Click United bollox just repeats stories from other websites. Take no heed! ;)

  85. Fred says:

Robbo – I agree. If only he’d taken pity on us and lowered his wage demands, he could have had five years at the Theatre of Dreams, rather than winding down his career with the current 6th best team in Italy. What a waste.

  86. cubs says:

Wazza if he plays the same games next year as he did this year I see 40 to 47 goals, 8 to 12 assists.

Still he plays at the ame time as Messi, CR, Xavi and Inestia. To be in the argument to be 3rd best is not all bad.

  87. cubs says:

    :-) :-)

  88. denton davey says:

MIke @ 18:01: “Is DeJong better than Strootman??”

To be fair, Nigel DeJong was excellent in his shielding-role today. HIs forward passing was very good, too. AND I say that through gritted teeth since he plays his club football for the wrong team in M/C.

Cubs @ 19:14: “Kagwa is no kid will be 24 next year with 2 German tittles to boot.”

I think he’s a year younger, turning 23 in March, 2013. But, no matter how old he is, he’s more-than-good-enough. Getting him is going to be brilliant in terms of changing the team’s mojo – much faster, interchanging play, like the days of yore when TheGingerNinja was in his pomp and before SirDavey’s head was completely gone.

  89. kung fu king eric says:

ooh haa shinji kagawa, ooh haa shinji kagawa, ooh haa shinji kagawa.

  90. WillieRedNut says:

Kagawa will fill the void where Sneijder would’ve fitted in. This lad will shock the world. Don’t take my word for it, ask Mr Conway Twitty…. 8)

  91. Sandeep1878 says:

Willie and Fred – cheers pals..

Now, hoping Ronny will score a brace, but he doesnt like the sight of Neuer ;)

  92. Fred says:

Willie – that will be no shock to me. I expect Kagawa to win the Player of the Year award next season.

  93. cubs says:

Thanks Denton. 23 now next year 24!?!! Not 17 to 21 is what I ment.

I was a big Wee Wes fan not just because it was so fun with Kebab and crew. Wes had his great WC and. CL Kagawa has that ahead of him. Sure -es last year would have been nice. Now KAGAWBUNGA TIME!!!!

  94. kung fu king eric says:

just watched a video of Angelo Henriquez awesome looks a cross between Van nistlierooy , Shearer and Ussain The Bolt . ONLY 18.

  95. parjo says:

While his country loss, I’m glad to see Rafael started for Brazil against Argentine,

  96. Fred says:

Anyone else hate it as much as I do when people call him Chickarito, Chico or Chicha?

    Cannot fucking stand it.

Mind you, I also dislike “Ando”, “Vida” and “Wazza”. :P

  97. Albert Ross says:

Freddie! Nah. Perhaps in a gleeful moment, else it doesn’t have a ring of respect.
Never mind the fact that it’s a bit obscure.

    Fred – That’s better ..!

Comments that use a variety of clever, original nicknames for the players are merely glossed over by me, as I can’t be bothered trying to decipher who is being spoken about.

For me, spelling a person’s (esp United a player’s) name wrong is a poor show, shouldn’t happen and should probably be corrected.

    Whatever.

  98. WillieRedNut says:

    Ok Alby!

  99. Albert Ross says:

Don’t get short with me WilliamTheReductionisticNutctacker!

  100. Fred says:

Thought of another one that makes me cringe: “Wellbeck”.
