But.. doesn’t anybody have the slightest concern that playing in the gold gup so close after ending the season with United will mess with his pre-season schedule? I mean, the USA tour is up soon and obviously he will need a few weeks to rest, which means he will probably miss some part of the tour..
When thinking about some of the players form last year after participating in the woeld cup, it gives me the creeps.

That kind of a life would make anyone jealous but Chicharito is such a nice lad that no one could ever be jealous of him. At the moment, all of are just happy that this young lad with good family values is playing for our club and living the fucking dream.

@Kings, I see where you are coming from mate. But in all honesty, when a blog/website/forum becomes as popular as ROM has become in recent times, there are bound to be a few knobs who come on here and spew bile and shit. The same popularity that brought people like me here is what is bringing Bill Knob, LUFCWhite etc. also here. Scott cannot single-handedly go through all the posts and unless he wants to let people share the burden of moderating the comments, there is little else to do.
And it cannot be completely stopped also because ROM is arguably the most popular footballing blog and it is a blog about United, so there is little to do as cunts like that will always show up. At an earlier time when there were lot less comments in general, it would’ve been possible to delete all comments like that, but with the amount of comments each article generates, it will be very difficult to do that.
Just my two cents as to why it will be difficult, although I completely understand why veterans like you and King Eric are frustrated.

When Cedars, Smartalex and Willie stopped posting for a few days (think it was about 4 days in total) – everyay I gave them a mention and on 3-4 of those times I asked STR if anything was going to be done about the issue – it was only when the issue had been addressed to Cedars that I got a response – and a sarcastic one at that which I didn’t appreciate.

People were telling how much of a poor decision it was and all that. But none of them looked at the situation from Sir Alex’s point of view. Do any of us have any idea how bad Sir Alex would’ve felt when he had to tell his top goalscorer that he won’t be playing the biggest game of the season? Sir Alex is a man of principle and that decision would’ve hurt him more than it hurt Berbatov or ignorant fans like us.

@ancha, That is exactly what I was trying to say before also mate. Providing topics for discussion is the most difficult thing to do when maintaining a blog. It is impossible to consistenly produce articles about United as Scott as doing and then allowing free rein for us to discuss the matter as we please. For that alone, Scott requires our constant support as it is upto regular posters like us to keep the quality of discussions up and maintain the insightful debats more than the mindless bile that gets posted.
