Beautiful Utd. 20
Normally Tony V’s would be my favorite out of this bunch, but I’d have to give it to Jonny. First career goal and United’s 100th of the season!
20! Believe!
Johnny couldn’t contain his emotions. The lad looked so happy it’s unbelievable. Good to see him finally in the score sheet and adding a goal to his good form. Well taken volley too…that could have gone anywhere if not hit properly.
I most add, Valencia was a monster today. Probably our most consistent player this season.
Plus, 5 goals and not one of them was Rooney’s. That’s a first!
im happy for chicharito in my opinion he isnt at his best at the moment but hoppefully he is starting to score on a regular basis now cause we will need his goals.
antonio valencia surely has to be the most powerful and physically fittest in this current united squad and i include vidic in that. How can a player be missing for a month but just slot in like he’s not been away?.
I used to be a sceptic of his one dimension play but that dimension is so good, it pretty much covers other weaknesses. Runs fullbacks absolutely ragged like a rampaging bull taunted by a spanish bull fighter. They know what he’ll do but defenders can’t do fuck all about it. He’s the terminator in the united squad.
Evans breaks his duck. Now 1 goal in 119 first team appearances. Never scored as a lad either so that goes back 12 years.
Still, Jaap Stam only had 1 goal in 122, so not bad company.
Guess he will be pipped to go on a scoring run then?!
Jonny Evans, scores for fun
@Fletch
Evans has actaully a pretty good technique. Just look at his crossfield pass before Valencia set up Welbeck’s goal. I am surprised it took him this long to break his duck. He’s been one of our MVP in our good run of form from December and on.
At the end of the day though, we all know Evans is shit.
5 star performance! Sorry, I had to go there.
Anyway, well done Jonny Evans. His form has deserved some reward. Tony V? Just wow! Beast of a player. Strong, quick, direct and starting to score goals. Hernandez is the arch predator. You never see him until it’s too late. The way he finds space is no coincidence. That leaves Dannyboy! Took his goal well. Think he needed that for his own self believe.
On Evans and DDG, I don’t think It’s a secret to their recent fine form. Playing regularly helps any player. Continuity leads to confidence.
@Costas – his pass against Chelsea in September to set up Nani’s goal was quality as well. Left foot as well if I’m not mistaken.
I suggest we sign experience when Berba leaves….perhaps Raul or Diego Forlan.
Wouldn’t mind Del Piero ! Heard he’s on his way out of Juve’
Berba should move to a decent club like PSG,Lyon,Dortmund,Leverkusm,Valencia,Athletico,Malaga or some Eye-talian Team.
Top of the EPL with 10 games to play. First team to 70 points. Even #JonnyEvans is scoring for fun!
Off topic: The Bitters are starting to loose it. Hahahahhaha.
The cracks are starting to show under the fresh paint!

It’s a corrupt system then innit?!
Fuck Valencia is good, look at how he sets up Pea’s 2nd goal, pin point precision, man of the match for me. Rooney was good but he was great. Our player of the season for me, I would pay just to watch him play.
Fletchtheman 23:40- looks like the bitters are taking a leaf out of the dippers book. It’s not our fault, everyone is against us. Media want tge rags at the top. Funny that as we have bad nothing but media support all season hahaha. Best one is the guy who says the club don’t care if he gives uP his seat as someone else will fake if. Fuck how many empty seats are there already. Fucking idiots.
Valencia touched the ball three times during his run , on the last he accelerated even further . He is unstoppable at full tilt unless you foul him . An amazing athlete. Thank fuck he plays for us.
Tony V, you Beast!
Anyone seen the trailer for Eric’s new movie; out in the UK at the end of March http://www.otmcr.com/2012/03/erics-new-movie.html
Awesome cross field ball from JE… Fantastic volleyed goal as well. On MOTD they were trying to make out you couldn’t miss from there but I’ve seen the Ladyboy miss that kind of chance!
Old boy Dion with a lot of overdue love for both Jonny and Antonio tonight… No numerical superiority for scousers tonight on MOTD! At fucking last…!
I think most of the team must be on ‘roids at the mo… Beefcakes all round! JE, AV and even DDG… he just needs to sort out that ridiculous quiff!!!!
When was the last time we actually saw Nani in good form for United?
Also, latest from “The Leech Watch”
“Carl Nicks left the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday to join an NFC South rival, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was the third major free-agent signing in less than 24 hours for the Bucs, following the addition of cornerback Eric Wright and wide receiver Vincent Jackson.
Nicks signed a five-year deal worth $47.5 million, with $31 million guaranteed, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The deal would make Nicks the NFL’s highest-paid guard, surpassing Logan Mankins of the New England Patriots.”
Lets hope the spending spree holds some significance for United.
evan’s passing is actually quite good for a defender
@RedHound
I was actually thinking the same yesterday when I saw Valencia tearing Wolves to shreds yesterday. Unless something changes in the last 9 games, this season will have been a disappoitning one for Nani.
Johnny be GOOD. As many have noticed his last dozen games he has been AWESOME. Playing great defense and coming up with the ball at his feet and finding people with 40 yard passes.
Rafa looked good has played 90 min a few games now. A Fabio sighting.
Tony we missed you.
Lil Pea gets a brace an assist and plainy well with others.
Dan played out left, and pinched inside and rotated with Rooney and shined with PP.
Carrick and Scholes so nice.
Rooney had fun was slapping hands with Lil Pea spraying 40 yard passes on the dime. Playing quick 1 2 touch ball looking like lads on the school yard having fun. Rooney was so happy to see Lil Pea and Dan score, this will help there confidence on the run in and Tony is back.
DDG a clean sheet !!!!!
Morning reds,
5 start performance last night..
how glad to have the beast back in the team, looked no way out of team..
Gud performance yesterday, shame i didn’t see the game. Come on now fulham, you do know london clubs don’t get favour from us,……..not this season,……….not now!
RedHound-Hi mate that’s our money they are spending
Ha, handn’t thought of that, would you say United is their biggest asset? i mean in terms of everything they own.
Chuffed for Jonny, TonyV is a fucking beast, and Hernandez can score!
Does anyone think Torres could have timed his return to goalscoring any better?
Bilbao got beaten 3:0 by Valencia at home…Some teams can obviously do it.
I read on sky that Rooney got MoM. Can somebody confirm this? How on earth did Valencia not get his champagne at the end of the game is beyond me. I dont know about you my fellow reds, but I felt Rooney did not play particularly well yesterday. He did made a couple of good passes, but also lost lots of possession specially when it was 11 vs 11
I love carrick
SAF should try and sign MUNAIAN frm Bilbao
RedHound-we there cash cow
Evans is in a way the surprise of the season, I for one didn’t think he could hack it, but he’s proving me wrong.
One game out of the way, bring on the next one. Here is to hoping a losing streak to City untill 30th Aprill when we meet and by then they will surely be out and we can hammer them coz of a lack of motivation on their part
What a game! I’m watching the replays on mioTV and giving each player high-5s!
Clint @ 23:19: good shout about Raul or Diego Forlan as a super back-up striker. They offer very different qualities – Raul is a predator like Chicharito or LittleMikey whereas Forlan has been at his best for Uruguay when he’s played in that “withdrawn striker” role. I’d prefer Forlan because he’s left-footed AND he has unfinished business @ OT.
Tony V should be MoTM, Rooney played as he always does AWESOME. He is not about scoring he is all about winning trophies. Dan has played well he needed a goal. Lil Pea been playing better he gets a brace. As SAF puts together his next great team of youngsters and Roonay, Carrick, Rio, Vida, Giggs, Park, Scholes,Evra and Owen as well Tony, Young, Nani, Anderson and now Evans to show the padawawns the way.
I miss Fletch, great he is working for the reserves.
SWEET
