VIDEO: Fergie Watches Former Player Grab Both Assists Against Arsenal

Chris Eagles highlight for United came when he scored our fourth in our 4-2 win over Everton towards the close of the 2006-2007 season, in a game which saw us go 2-0 down before leaving Goodison with three points.

Sadly, he never proved himself to be up to United’s standards, despite being given a go during August and September in particular last season.

He was up to the job tonight for Burnley though, with Sir Alex Ferguson watching in the crowd, claiming both assists in his team’s 2-0 win over Arsenal’s kids.

I wonder who Eagles will hoping Burnley draw in the next round, after already knocking out Chelsea and Arsenal…

EEEEEEAAAGGLLLEESSS!! What a legend! Second goal was a quality finish but I think the trophy is ours if we play it safe! Seems as though the Arsenal first team gave tips to the youths today…

reckon fergie was there to check out some of the ‘highly rated’ arsenal starlets . wouldnt mind having one or two of them (wilshere!) . they’re always so damn hard to get on football manager .

Time for the media to take a reality check with Arsenal. The hyperbole surrounding these players has scared alot teams at the emirates but tonight they were outplayed and out passed by Burnley WTF?!. There are some real gems in their first team and their academy but nothing that even comes near winning the title or even a F.A.cup. I think this was their best chance of winning something this year and giving the younger players a taste of success but his ego has denied his club a trophy. Anyroad its ours to lose now hope Fergie doesn’t underestimate Blackburn and plays enough first teamers to give us a better chance of winning .

  8. MAnc says:

arse got a bit unlucky, they were dominating but couldn;t finish the countless 1-on-1s…though fair play to burnley and eagles..

and i think few arsenal youngsters are very talented…wilshere, ramsey, vela are quality players..vela had a bad game though…
