Good goal in a poor match
Flip sake how we ever going to beat Barca if we can’t even beat benfica shocking result.
I thought that went well, Benfica at their place will always be dangerous, we gave playing time to players that are in dire need of it, we were impressive in spurts. Most of their chances came from counter attack. We bossed the game in the second half up until the substitutions, anyway. Admittedly we missed the dynamism of ando/clev but Fletcher seems to be back along with Valencia. Nice all around. Bring on Chelsea
Where’s Bill Knob?
a point is good. considering the fact 4 of our players hadn’t played much at all. watta screamer by giggsy!
Worry about today for tomorrow will take care of itself. Oh how are we gonna beat barcelona if cannot even beat benfica. are we playing barcelona in the near future? NO WE AREN’T so why should we worry about them? good game no injuries. get home get ready for chelsea. Good luck sunday.
lindegaard made some wonderful saves! great start to him this season! will do him a world of good! great to see both our stoppers belting in some top performances!
@jasonpark-wrong good result.
@jason park… fuck sake stop your moaning about barcelona
Hahahaha SAF put King Kenny’s (gorgeous) daughter in her place
Good goal but poor match I think the utd boss bring on berotov 2 score Rooney was very poor and Fletcher we missed anderson cleverly utd will beat chelsea at the weekend
rooney one attempt on goal, off target. WTF? didn’t watch the match, but this is poor by our standard. i dont mind the scoreline, but the stats dont lie. we need to up our game!!!
positives: a point on board, players getting minutes. criticisms come later, just glad about getting a point, didn’t look like we going to get any
lesson to learn young kelly dalgleish dont ask fergie fucking stupid questions……hilarious!!!
Carrick rubbish!! he plays like @#$%….
Jesus fucking Christ, shamefull result, team was utter shit, Carrick, Fletcher, Park were useless, Valencia can’t dribble, only can run and pass the ball, Giggs did nothing good except for that goal and slalom through defense.
Looks like shitty had a rough ride tonite as well
Great performance and good composure from Lindegaard.
Good post match as well. Humble and well spoken!
Think there were some bobbles but overall very happy to have him.
Says he is not hear to pick his nose. Wants to have lots of fun and play in big game.
Let’s be having it then. HavinLotsOFun with Linde!
oh another positive: Lindegaard did good
Fuck City, I am more concearned about our players.
SAF was right to give everyone a chance, they need match fitness but they didn’t stick to the standards set by the youngsters. Carrick need to improve
some twattish comments on here already… ffs. good point. well earned. benfica looked a solid team at home I thought. pressed the ball really well and never gave the lads any time on the ball. onwards…
If any of y’all bitches ain’t cool with the result, please just shut the fuck up and suck your own balls….
Why cant y’all take some positives out of this results, considering the fact that we overhauled our entire midfield..Shit!!
Most of these posters are bitches and shit..
Seems like most people here just want 10 goals every muthafuckin time..This ain’t Arsenal,ffs..GGMU.
Carrick park and fletcher have no pace or creativity big difference from that team to the one that started the season and rooney need somebody to play up front with him but good point. Red Army
Some people here need to get their heads examined.. Benfica are a tough nut to crack at home and we did quite well considering we were bringing back players who hadn’t played much or were injured.
Great finish by Giggsy. Doesn’t cover the ground, he once did, but he still got the magic in that leg peg!
I don’t know, we changed 3/4 of the team and we got an away draw at the only other real rival in the group. Benfica will do well to get a draw at old trafford.
And our team is rested for the game that we REALLY want to win!! Beat Chelsea and we will see our 3 biggest recent rivals Arsenal Chelsea and Liverpool falling off the pace. That would be a good months work
Very simple……. Either a 1-0 or 1-1 was the best possible results away from home. NO injuries…..
9 of out starting 11 today didn’t start on Sunday!!!!!! Fergie is a genius come Sunday against Chelski….
As for the Wastelands- as predicted, Mancini is going to do the Mourinho……play his best 11 every game.
Let’s see how fckin knackered they are come Oct 23rd
1 pt is a good result away to Benfica. We just need to beat them at OT. Remember that topping the group is enough till the knock out.
Good result imo. Giggsy is legend and Lindegaard did well too.
i dnt really know benfica are this good……………….good game from lindegaard. come on you mighty Reds, gotta put the rentboyz where they belong.
