Gibson was fabulous today. Innit? Full of confidence. He is coming of age now. Very good performance overall with youngsters getting a run. And Giggs IS getting better every match. Unbelievable.

Today we had the usual curse of this season. The team gets a 3 goal cushion,SAF makes 2 substitutions in order to rest players and we conceid a goal straight away. But congrats to Gibbo. He looks more mature than his age and he plays like that too.

Crikey!! If I scored (could score) that Welbeck goal I’d make “that celebration” by giggsy look languid. Who cares if it’s 4-1…celebrate man!!!

Hey guys.Is it a coincidence that all of these youngsters are performing so confidently this season?I think not.I think that Ole has done a great job in giving them the belief that they can play for United.I can’t recall so many youngsters popping up in one season:the Da Silvas,Evans,Welbeck,Gibson and possibly Possebon. That’s 5-6 new players that our squad has gained in one summer. And speaking of Welbeck,I happen to be greek and i can remember what his goal reminded me off:

So all hail Ole Gunnar Solskjaer!

Great match thought the quote of Ole talkin about gibbo from Jim Beglinn was funny ”He’s like a Ferrari but sometimes its hard to get him out of the garage” very funny.Has anyone seen the 2 Italian kids in the squad for the champions play

  6. King Eric says:

Seanmc26 : Yeah top quote that from Ole.

There must be so much confidence flowing through this squad, no matter what team or formation SAF puts out we are just turning teams over. Not always admittedly by any more than one goal but our possession every match is huge. Always in control of the game.

Thought Gibson was excellent today playing in his more favoured role. Looked confident on the ball and some good passing. Some of the touches and play from Giggsy was superb. He is having the best form for years and seems to be getting better every game, even lasting the full 90 minutes!. Cracking goal by Nani. I have been a critic of him but he looked better today. It was good to see Foster get a game and looks our definate replacement to Edwin. Looks confident on crosses (most of the time) his quick ball distribution is excellent and he pulled off a couple of good saves today. Great finish by Wellbeck and Gibson aswell. Was good for youngsters to get on scoresheet again and are showing some real promise. How late was the offside flag?

It was funny as fuck to see Derby fans getting wound up with our lads continuous chants of “Argentina, Argentina”!

At a time when the games are coming thick and fast United are starting to really show our class.

lol @ french commentator on the Wellbeck goal – “resemblant of the manner of Thierry Henry” he says just before the end

  8. vidic will get ya15 says:

The youngsters were fabulous, Giggs was brilliant, the atmosphere magnificent. The only blemish was..the late flag. Gibbo, I’m impressed. I was like “where is he hiding all this time?” It’s like he’s always been playing with the team. The confidence, composure.. Not even a glimpse of inexperience showed.

Welbeck, another thunderous beautiful unerring finish. His goal celebration was Henry-esque – stood still.. arrogance? confidence? F*ck with that, he’s just too hot now.

Teale vs Rafael – great duel throughout the whole match. Nice to watch.

And Viva Ronaldo to Viva John Terry.. haha.

We can win the 4.. we just can.

  11. Mila says:

Great game, lovely to see our young lads do so well, Rafael and Gibson were superb.

One thing though – Welbeck should really start celebrating his goals. Really :)
