    @King eriic

    Shitty looked lethargic no fucking rhythm just fucking pathetic display. Media’s attempt no to criticize them take the biscuit hahah!!

  2. Proverb says:

    @costas valencia is a huge worry in that we should now start looking for options to replace him on that right side hand, we can’t possibly risk it against city, but then again they usually struggle against slicky wingers.

  3. Ash says:

    I feel Mourinho is a bit more casual in his approach this time. HE thinks with Sir alex retiring the league is his to win and all other teams are inferior. Sorry Jose this aint your two man spanish league. Here you have to work hard for the victory for 3 points. How could they let Lukaku go, on loan. Buying Etoo and sending Lukaku on loan is a step backwards. Mata is now no more interested to play , I will again say just because chelsea has Jose doesnt make them favorites.

    Now From very beginning I have said that City have signed overrated players. 30 millions for fernandiniho is a joke. Navas is just an average winger and negredo is another dzeko. Only player who I feel could do damage is Jovetic but he needs time by the look of things. They have Aguero, Yaya, Silva and Kompany. If you take 2 out of these 4( Yesterday they missed silva and Kompany) They are going to struggle. Losing tevez has taken them backward, yes tevez was a cunt but he knew how to win matches which your Negredo or navas cannot do.

  4. nairobired says:

    Hope in the next game fellaini is unleashed and allowed to go forward a bit more. He seemed to hold back a lot and was passing the ball more than he usually does. Carrick can now dictate the game from deep with the knowledge that there’s a beast around to break up and counters. I’ll wait until we play 11 men with the Carrick + Fellaini to really assess them but the way he took over since coming on we may be looking at a situation of who will play with Fellaini as opposed to who will play with Carrick.

  5. King Eric says:

    Ash. Spot on.

    Sick of hearing about how great Arsenal are. People forget the start we’ve had, very tough games. Arsenal haven’t the balls to win a title and cannot defend. ONE striker who is dogshit. Spurs getting giddy yet the only half decent side they played, they lost.

  6. King Eric says:

    nairobired. Moyes and Round talked about Fellaini sitting deep as I said. Him and Carrick can switch roles.

    Jose moaning his squad too young. Oh that’s not on Jose is it. That cunt needs a squad packed full of old cunts as doesn’t develop fuck all kids.

    Re: Ashley Young

    Some players are known to play class at smaller clubs but then not make the grade after transferring to a bigger one. Say what you want about Young but he was class for years before he came to United hence his price & wages. Thats not up for discussion, the only question is can he make the grade here?

    I think his problem is confidence, not ability, and fans getting on his back can’t help. People were saying he never beats his man, ha, he was skipping past players yesterday & he’s no where near his best. He’s easily got 10 goals a season in him but will we get to see it? Perhaps, if everybody gets off his back and remembers he’s actually a very good player.

    No he hasn’t been consistent at United, but Moyes being the man-manager he is clearly wants to get the best from him because he can get the assists & the goals. You can’t blame Moyes for regularly starting him. Also, if that brilliant pass from Ando resulted in a goal you’d all be singing a different tune and Young would probably be feeling 10ft tall in his next game. Thats how fine the margin is.

    As for his ‘diving’, might not be popular but if other teams are winning decisions against us for simulation I don’t exactly mind if one of our players does the same thing. All is fair in war son! Also, if the FA stamped it out and Young was the only one doing it I’d say something different, but as it stands all teams win decisions they shouldn’t, so why shouldn’t United? We ain’t Saints.

    And before some mug says Young is bringing the club down, Rooney is just as adept at sticking his leg out to look like he’s been tripped… he is an expert diver… he’s been doing it since he was a Blue… but NOBODY ever gets on his back about it because he’s Wayne Rooney.

    Young hasn’t set the world alight at United but the stick he gets is OTT, especially when he has room to improve. I can see his performances getting better, they already are this season. But I just love the fact we’re no where near our best yet but we’re still grinding out results. Sign of champions.

  8. Ash says:

    King eric

    Mate less said about Arsenal and Liverpool the better. So suddenly Arsenal have become everyones favorite because they have signed Ozil. Pundits saying now he will inspire arsenal to win trophies the same whay RVP did for us. Some one tell these fuckers that we already had a great squad, RVP was just a a final puzzle in the jig saw. But arsenal has nothing. They have average squad, just adding one good player wont make them great. Whole media are talking about young but no one is talking about the disallowed goal for sunderland which led to di canio getting suspended from the touch line. If that was given a goal for sunderland they would have been 2-2 and arsenal could have panicked. These media guys will pick every other team bar united each week. But when the league is going to end and united are firm fav to win the league they will just choose us and say we all knew United will win. Then again next season they will make every goddamn team a favourite at the expense of Man utd. Stupid people

  9. Squeaky says:

    …and for the record I couldn’t give two fucks about that Palace lad that was sent off.

    He’ll live haha.

    Do you think Palace would care if they got a penalty for a foul outside the box? Holloway would be delighted, and after the match he’d say “sometimes you need luck” an he’d be right! So fuck all that bollocks, we need all the luck we can get. 3pts thats all I care about. We’re blatantly gonna get fucked over by the ref a few times this year so all you bleeding hearts save your sympathy for your own players yeah? Im still gutted by the way they robbed Nani/Fergie when we looked like ripping Madrid apart. Couldn’t give a toss about a rival defender tbh. It’s not like he got his leg broken ffs.

    Why should we be sorry for getting some luck? We were battering them anyway.

  10. King Eric says:

    Nairobired. Err Carrick isn’t gonna get dropped. No chance.

    Ash. I know mate they’re still lacking badly at the back. Shit keeper. No strength in side. Plenty of creativity yet just that shit French lump up top. Early days.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2420852/Cristiano-Ronaldo-handed-75million-sweetener-Real-Madrid.html

    Ronaldo signing a 5 year deal with Real Madrid today at 1245. I’m glad we can put that one to bed now. Another player who has used speculation from United to get a better deal at his club.

  12. mara says:

    Citeh wants Januzaj…if he will play, he wont go. But if he wont play, he will go like Pogba. In the end, it is better warm bench for bigger salary, then for lower…

  13. WeAreUnited says:

    @mara mate,

    Januzaj will not go to city, where are you picking this up, Januzaj is different from Pogba, a smart guy, and NO WAY IN HELL we will elt him go, so don’t bring that kind of negativity here just to make us pissed off hearing city wants Januzaj, WHO CARES?

    and I am not getting at you mate, you know we agree on many things, so don’t get me wrong, just annoyed that you bring BS like that over here .

    DON’t get me wrong mate!

  14. mara says:

    @Ash, King Eric…
    No one ment, that Oezil will change Arsenal, but that he was great buy. He will help, that is sure, and maybe other good players decide to come to Arsenal.
    Tottenham, bought many midfiled players. It also dont mean that they gonna win the league, but they can be in top 4. But some of those midplayers will be step forward, and some wont. But you have to risk, actually you always risk when you buying players. They bought few of the most promesing young players. I hope we wont in few years say: Why we didnt buy some of them?

  15. mara says:

    @WeAreUnited hahaha i got you…believe or not…but i’m always scared because money rulles the world :)

    I also wanted to ask you fans from UK..what web site is good for football news?

    King Eric @ 08:59: “They’re fucked without Kompany yet we got by without Vida for a year. As long as we go to the council house with a positive side they are there for taking.”

    It’s been an odd three months since SAF retired.

    UTD won the EPL last year in a canter – 11 points but they were up by 15/16 before putting it into cruise-control.

    Everyone thought UTD needed to strengthen midfield so the one signing was – gasp ! – a midfielder. Not just any midfielder but a 25-year old guy who is big, strong, and has a proven track-record of scoring goals in the EPL. Having TheBigFella playing alongside MC16 give UTD not only the best keeper in the EPL, not only the best defensive unit, not only the best array of attacking talent but also THE BEST midfield in the EPL.

    Yet some people – some people, eh ? – seem to think that UTD will be lucky to come fourth this season !

  19. denton davey says:

    Squeaky @ 10:03: “Young hasn’t set the world alight at United but the stick he gets is OTT, especially when he has room to improve.”

    Of course AshleyBloodyYoung has “room to improve” but there’s absolutely NO EVIDENCE that that will happen. He was a big-fish-in-a-small-pond at Villa but playing for TheLads is a big, big step up – and he hasn’t done it. PLUS, he’s now 28.

    The thing that really pisses me off about Young is not that he’s bog-standard and not even that he’s the fifth-highest paid player in this squad but that he takes playing=time away from highly-skilled guys like Chicharito, KagawaBunga, Nani – as well as kids like AdnanJ and Zaha.

    Ralph Milne is usually described as Fergy’s worst transfer but AshleyBloodyYoung ain’t far behind. He’s just not good enough. Period.

  20. King Eric says:

    Denton. Exactly mate and you’ve read my mind. Check my post on reactions thread regarding the big fella and our squad.

    ‘Born in Belgium to Kosovan parents Januzaj has thus far declined offers to represent the country of his birth. He is eligible to play for Albania and also Kosovo – who have yet to receive full competitive status from FIFA and UEFA, who require Kosovo to hold full UN status before they can admit them.’

  22. Dyzfunktional says:

    @Ash

    Just FYI… just cos you posted on a forum for 4 years it doesn’t give you any insight into a person and whether they’re telling the truth. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and diversity of that creates debate which is the whole point of these comments/forums isn’t it?

    where I was sat on saturday the general feeling for 65-70 minutes was of disappointment, for the lack of spectacle and end product from players whom have proved now for some time, whilst blocking the progress of youth, they’re not up to it.

    Kagawas ‘flu’ is conjecture but Nani, Zaha, Wellbeck, Chico & player of the pre-season tour Jesse Lingaard all offered better options and if Moyes plan was to show Fellaini he wasn’t just going to walk into the first team then that totally backfired cos on reflection Anderson was poor.

    I loved seeing Adnan, I hope to god we tie him down and don’t lose him like Pogba & Ravel! Him & Fellaini totally changed the game & we looked really good after that, and I smiled as a fan… however good against a 10 man palace doesn’t really get me wet I don’t know about you guys but I need more & its the players mentality of winning and I hope not accepting that as good enough either that will push us forward not being happy with mediocity.

    Lets hope for a win against the Germans on Tuesday and then the right team picked against City next week to win the game.

  23. Costas says:

    @Denton

    Liam Miller, Manucho, Djemba Djemba, Bebe and Taibi say hi. :lol:

  24. Dyzfunktional says:

    ps – expectation – reality = happiness

    so thats why i’m unhappy at the moment. simple as that. bullshit summer transfer posturing that came to nothing. and very poor start to the season clouded by a strong defence and a strong win against a poor (on the day) swansea.

    I hope we turn it around!

  25. denton davey says:

    Costas – I still have hopes for Bebe ! There’s a raft of others to whom you can offer my good wishes – Kleberson, Dong, Mame Biram Diouf, and David Bellion, just off the top-of-my-head.

    Did you notice that those nine guys you mentioned and I remembered still didn’t cost as much as AshleyBloodyYoung ?

  26. Costas says:

    @Denton

    That’s what Squeaky meant by over the top, lol. It only takes Djemba Djemba, Kleberson and Miller’s collective fees to match Young’s.

    Don’t know. If we had to judge the worst signings on a fee – contribution basis, there’s a number of player them that I’d consider worse than Young. For example, you could say the 28 million for Veron was never justified (although I feel he would have done better in his 3rd season). And call me crazy, but I also consider Anderson as a worse signing too. We are talking about a fee of 25+ million for a player that’s really done nothing in 4 of his 6 years at the club. Time will tell about Young. I still feel that he will contribute more than people believe.

  27. Dolorous Redd says:

    Why is it that whenever we win it’s always because the other team was poor

  28. Jixie says:

    I’ve always seen this site as somewhere to bond with fellow MUFC supporters but with people like this CC character only making stupid negative comments all the time I wonder what’s going on. Heh dude if you are a fan love your team (and its players) for good or bad. You claim to support the champions of England and all you do is moan. Even the lowest team in the football league has devoted fans. According to your take on things they all are probably considering suicide….but somehow I don’t think so. Long live MUFC. I for one don’t always need to win to support my team.

  29. Squeaky says:

    @Denton Davey – steady on he’s only been here 2 full seasons! His first was solid so lets not rewrite history, 8 goals wasn’t bad. Last year wasn’t good enough i’ll agree with that, but the way he’s written off this year is laughable.

    I don’t think he’s average either, in terms of ability. People conveniently overlooked the fact that he did skip past his markers quite a few times v Palace, and he still has his pace. I think his main problem is confidence. No goals last season is weighing heavy on him, just like a striker who goes a few months without a goal. If the keeper didn’t make a great save he’d be off to a good start already.

    Aston Villa isn’t United, but that doesn’t take away from what he did there. None of our midfielders have been scoring 8,9,10 a season for nearly a decade now, so let Young score his first goal for this campaign & then we’ll judge him after that.

    Can’t help but repeat myself, only his third year with us and his first year was solid. Like I said mate OTT to write him off. Moyes is right to start him. I bet the manager hopes he scores soon so he can get his confidence back. I’d like to think all supporters are looking at it like that but thats not the case.
