  11. Dela says:

I hate that song so fucking much, but I love Shinji for getting up and singing it :-) Good that the boys had a few drinks last night… Rio was complaining of a hangover this morning…. since its the last chance they will get to have a drink before the Xmas period. Last year when Rooney showed up hungover he was benched and fined by Fergie, so I hope they had their fill last night :-) Six points clear, well deserved few pints I think :-)

  12. belfast red. says:

I had quite a few pints myself celebrating that win. Lol

  13. Costas says:

    Christ…

  14. Dela says:

  17. ys says:

OK , footballers should stick to football , that was terrible ;)

  18. T. says:

Fuck, luckily he does other things for a living.

  19. Dela says:

@wayne – that probably will gain him more popularity in a lot of countries unfortunately. Oh well.

Falcao’s goal vs barca was lovely there. Adriano equaliser was pretty amazing too to be fair.

  20. wayne says:

Dela yeah if all the rumors are true Falcao will become Romans new pet

  21. mybloodismetal says:

i hope he goes to Real and not chelsea, falcao is a goal machine

  22. Dela says:

@wayne, I wouldn’t be surprised at all, it will take quite a sum for any team that wants to sign him up.

watching Barca play here, it’s just so well thought out, and even by their standards they aren’t having the greatest game tonight. You see them when they are in possession, they barely move most of the time, they just stand there and pick out a pass, maybe move a few yards to either side… then when its passed its the same for that player too, they only starting running and expending energy when they are trying to score. That means when they do lose the ball, they have so much energy to get it back. Contrast that to us, and even Madrid, we play a lot of counter attacking football, which is also lovely to watch when it goes right, but when we lose the ball we’re under pressure quickly, particularly when you consider not just how high up we play full backs, but that they sprint forward a lot during our games too.

  23. wayne says:

Dela i know Barca are quality but i truly find them boring,i love Utd’s style of football it’s open and exciting as a fan that’s what i want.A lot on here rag on the team for having a shit midfield and shit defense and would rather have them win 1-0,well fuck that.I don’t think Utd have either it’s just a fact Utd’s strength is in our forwards, long live the 3-2 games as far as i’m concerned.Any given Sunday we can beat anyone and do it in style i’m fucking loving this season

  24. FletchTHEMAN says:

Think David Beckham got a bigger ovation than Seb Coe.

Closet United fans?! Ha ! SPOTY!

  25. Dela says:

@wayne –> Oh ye, you’re just pushing an open door with me. Barca can be amazing to watch when they are constantly attacking because some of the passes and skills can be mesmerizing, but that’s not how they play week in, week out either.

Remember how Arsenal were the “Barcelona of England” because that’s what they tried to do aswell, only they could never get the same end product as Barca. Then, in their most recent clash at the Emirates, Barca overran them in the middle, had them under constant pressure, wouldn’t allow Arsenal to play a passing game at all and the Arsenal players decided, fuck it.. hit them on the break… and scored twice to win the game 2-1. They more or less abandoned their whole style of play and played for the counter and won the game. Of course that still wasn’t enough to get them through the tie but it highlighted a lot.

In both the games we played against Barca in champions league finals, we showed them way too much respect. We wouldn’t aggressively close them down because the players knew Barca are good at absorbing pressure like that… but what we ended up doing was giving them complete authority over the ball. Barca set the whole pace of the game, decided where it would be played on the pitch and took their chances. I really don’t want to see them in the final again, but I would absolutely love to meet them before the final, give us a chance to take them back to Old Trafford.

BTW, I’m also loving where we are at the moment, and you’ll notice from my recent messages and couple of semi-arguments with others here, I don’t get the panic.

You were right in what you said about our attack, we’re extremely strong there. Delighted with RvP so far, and Rooney scoring 5 in 3 games now and showing the hunger for more is paramount coming up to the busy Xmas period. I still think Wayne is our most important player, even though RvP has had such a huge impact.

  26. redfish14 says:

When is Shinji due back? Will be interesting to see where he fits in the run in.

  27. matt says:

haha i actually laughed out loud. nice to see the team spirit coming through

  28. Proverb says:

    Haha, superb
The end of the world is near, that song already killed a lot of folks…
What’s more amusing is seeing people who don’t even understand the fucker sing or rap, is it rap fuck hell whatever shit he’s doing on that song has to be the most overrated. Shit since dry bread, I just cannot stand the song

  29. Neil says:

I wonder if they even tried to force Buttner to sing. He’s probably as hard as a coffin nail, a la Mickey from Snatch haha

  30. FletchTHEMAN says:

Think we can all be happy that the lads had a bit of fun and nothing is being splashed in the tabloids this week. It’s been the source of some tabloid haymaking in years past to such an extent that Rooney isn’t even allowed to attend, or so I understand it.

Good on the lads for a night out and good on the club that everyone got home without a GMP, or other, escort.

Interesting article in MEN about the Fergie banning viewing of the City game in the United locker room.

Was Fergie in New York yesterday meeting somebody?

  32. caman67 says:

Anyway its all good, can see he is game for a laugh and does not take himeslf too seriously

  33. bayoRed says:

Cooments on this article are worth a read. One guy betting his house against us signing Van Persie.

  34. FletchTHEMAN says:

Parryheid. The club said Fergie was in new york this week on personal business. He has a flat there and one of his sons live there with his young family. Hope he has a nice family holiday.

  35. FletchTHEMAN says:

Robin van Persie tops manutd.com man of the match poll.
Tom Cleverley is toping the poll at MEN.

    Both were excellent.

Tricky games coming up. Good we have confidence throughout the side.

Dec 23 at Swansea City EPL
Dec 26 home to Newcastle EPL
Dec 29 home to West Bromwich EPL

  36. parryheid says:

    Fletch The Man.

Ah right I know he has a flat there its just someone made the comment about a meet.in a newspaper article hence my query.

  37. FletchTHEMAN says:

One of my mates: “Just heard that Fergie isn’t going to be signing anyone in January ”
[look on lads face like Christmas has been cancelled] :(

Me: “Fergie is a crafty old bugger, who says he isn’t flat out lying”

Mate: [look on face like like I just claimed Santa wasn't real] 8O

    Silly season!

  38. lawman10 says:

Off topic………………..Lionel Messi has now scored more goals in 2012 ( 90 )
    then Livershite ( 89 )

  39. Bobby Charlton's combover says:

Ashley Young had a good game again. Great assist for RVP’s goal and a hand in Rooney’s too.
He has strung a few good games together which is good to see. Our front players are beginning to gel nicely so hopefully Kagawa will add to that.
We lost a bit of direction when the old guard were both on but hardly a surprise.
That’s what they’re there for, comign on keeping it tight and letting Carrick etc have a rest.
There are a lot of games coming up and the christmas campaign is always taxing so getting the lads as well rested as possible is only common sense.

  40. 20le7egend says:

    That’s y he’s a pro footballer not a dancer

  41. wayne says:

Bobby that’s what i didn’t get about why lots were complaining about Scholes and Giggs being brought on,there’s tons of games coming up in a short time.People whining about both being to old and it’s time to move on,well if you ask me Utd have moved on nether are getting much game time anymore but both are part of the squad and are perfect to bring on to close games out when Utd have a 3 goal lead
What i read Carrick had a tight hamstring that’s the reason he came off, some fans though just whine and complain for the sake of it not happy unless their pulling the team apart

    Fuck me,slow news day.

at 17:37… its only 16:40 ?! ,.. what are you , from the the future or something? :D

  44. Bobby Charlton's combover says:

@wayne – I don’t have a problem with bringing them on in the right game at the right time and I agree that me have moved on by giving them less game time as Tom and Ando have grown into their roles.
I generally do object to starting with them (giggs & scholes) if we have fit midfielders on the bench i.e. tom, ando or fletch. The christmas period is hectic and while we don’t have any of the top teams they are all out there fighting tooth and nail and as we have seen so far this season there won’t be any easy games. In fact the most comfortable game we’ve had was Arsenal at home and even then we got a bit twitchy at the end. If a game, like Saturdays is more or less in the bag then give lads a rest. 20-25 minutes mightn’t seem like much but it makes huge difference to fellas getting to the next game fully charged. Giggs and Scholes are still more than capable of coming on in these situations and making a positve contribution and seeing out the game and turning it aorund if need be as we’ve seen this season also.

  45. 20le7egend says:

Any other ways of watching this video? Not working here.

  46. slim says:

    Dasilvatwins

Haha in a different continent fella, hour ahead of you lot in the UK

  47. 2ole7egend says:

Funny, what ever it is that gets posted e.g Kagawa here, you can garantee everyones going to end up debataing the state of the side, I do a agree with you guys tho, the old gaurd have still got plenty to say yet, silly doutbers, and those who question SAF so readily shows your TRUE knowledge, ZERO.

  48. 2ole7egend says:

The fellers getting cannier with age. Proper vintage!

  49. Bobby Charlton's combover says:

@2ole7egend – We’re all armchair managers when it comes down to it and we all think we know the best team – fuck it, as fans it’s our right. I’ve questioned Fergie’s selection and judgement loads of timesd just like everyone has at one time or another, sometimes proved right and more often that not proved wrong, if not on the day of the game down the line when the method in his madness comes to light. It’s silly to think he’s infallible, he’s recognised his own mistakes on many occasions.

  50. 20le7egend says:

As one does, it is a fans perogative yes, but its just some fans choice of topic, very negative and repetitive, that’s just a small minority though, fair play to the united app though, my favourite toy! By a margain
