    for a total of 71 players.

    Good numbers but it means with VDS retiring and new keeper in still the figure is 31. Gary already accounted for.

    Wonder how the first team wud look like next season.

    Don’t know about team captain, more often the managers wait to see
    who is available at these internationals and then a pick a senior lad with a good head.
    But this might be a sign of things to come as he only got called up to the U21 in the fall and this is his 3rd goal. Scored 2 in a 2-1 win vs Turkey. Kiko is very mature for a 19 year old and definitely able to take his chances in front of goal. Being selected as U21 captain for a couple of years should really elevate the lad.
    Just hope he continues to get games at Sampdoria.

    Under-19′s, i think thats the most important factor for those who complain about Macheda. the guy is still so young, it’ll be three years at least before we can expect him to really become consistent. I do think he’s going to be the best pure striker in the world some day
