Manchester United came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Anfield in the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals, in a game that saw two players from each side sent off. Larnell Cole scored United’s first from the penalty spot, after Paul Pogba was bizarrely shown a second yellow for dummying his penalty kick. Ravel Morisson went on to score two goals, the second of which five minutes before time, to see United through to the semis to face Chelsea.

Great result. Great performance. Best player on the pitch today was Ravel. Something that is very very encouraging about Ravel had noithing to do with his skill levels. But his attitude, He seems to have improved that immensely. 5 minutes before the end he was fouled by a scumbag. In the past Ravel would have clocked him or something else equally as stupid. instead he caught himself on and lifted his hands away. Brilliant.
Tunnicliffe was also immense he is a real powerhouse. All over the pitch covering, tackling, attacking winning the penalty. Really mature performance from both Ravel and Tunnicliffe
