Romelu Lukaku has scored his 13th goal in his last nine appearances for Belgium tonight against Costa Rica. His team had gone a goal behind, before Dries Merten equalised. Lukaku then put Belgium ahead before scoring another. He then assisted Michy Batshuayi who made it 4-1.

Lukaku is his country’s all-time top scorer with 36 goals in 69 games, which works out at an average of 0.52 goals per game.
