good stuff lads….
we needed a poacher…. looks like we have one
Not sure Kiko would get the chance to take that second touch in the league though…. still magic though…
good to see wes back…..
Little Mikey scored EXACTLY the kind of goal you’d expect – the fox-in-the-box looks to be finding his form as the chances pile up.
The first goal was a very nice piece of interplay – Fletcherinho’s pass acrosst the box to Kiko was worthy of his Brazilian heritage.
He is scoriung for fun now. Once he has reacquired the taste for scoring you will not be able to stop him.
are you watching Merseyside……………………..?
Estas mirando Madrid……………………………..?
Have a good look City…………………………….?
You are gonna have to carry on being rentboys Chelsea.
tosic is looking very good he had a part to play in both goals, nani looked pretty good last match aswell. I think are team is alot better than the press and other fans think, im confident that we are strong enough to once again win the league!
good to see fabio getting a run.
am loving this guy.
@manufan32
i agree. one of the best defenders about for me, so underated can play rb and cb and does brilliant job at both
Tosic has the potential and a great left foot.. It’s 2 easy goals for Owen in 2 games. The sterner test will come in the Audi Cup later this month. Great to see him on the goalscoring front again. Fabio, Wes did well. Fletch’s my man. Steely performance.
2 goals in 2 games now. Although Macheda should have scored with any kind of touch before it came back to Owen, but Owen was at the right place at the right time, you can’t teach that. Just hope Macheda, Welback, and even Rooney & Berbatov pick up a thing or 2 from Owen about being where it matters most at the right time
Just some other results that might stir some interest
Rapid 1-0 Liverpool
LA Galaxy 2-2 AC Milan
Villarreal 27-0 Navata
young owen looking like a shrewd piece of business alright, tosic looks handy but Nani showed some touches of real class.. just hope he puts the work in against sterner opposition
27-0!!I saw that earlier, effing brilliant that was.Did Rossi score any??I know Pires scored 2,and someone scored 7.Other than that,no clue about the scorers.
27-0? hahaha your taking the piss?
anyway good to get the lads confidence up before the season starts but these games dont mean anything other than getting the players match fit and selling some shirts in other countries.
Looking forward to the new season though,Macheda is a class act.
@ Marq – Thanks for the results always pleased to hear the dippers have been bummed by someone.
Do you know if Navata is a pub or a works team?
27-0 Fucking Hell – That was a real test. Even if they were playing Rugby they still got battered!!
i love to watch the build-up to the second goal, where Owen tells Tosic to go to the left while keeping his guard for the def who was trying to steal his ball. Then he opened up the ball to the left, for Tosic to cross in. I mean, you can see his influence on the team..
Loving the supply from the left from tosic, one touch, and in early with pace and quality. Not had anyone who can do that since beckham. Could anyone point me to where i can watch both the full games online? For free of course
@ Red Manc – I could be naughty and edit your comments like a lying Spanish journo, and turn your comments into, “27-0… It’s good to get the lads confidence up before the season starts”.
Watch out for Villareal in the Eufa cup draw City fans. I mean 27-0? With 3 strikers? Imagine what they could do with 10? lol. Oh, wait, Shitty aren’t in a euro cup this year. fucking citeh. btw – 27-0 was with a completely different XI in each half. Forward Jonathan Pereira netted seven goals, Joseba Llorente and Marco Ruben scored four each while former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires scored twice. Rossi never played.
Real;ly like the way owen reacts to the space and literally is running there before the ball has even defelcted off the defender…amazing reading of the play. I am really excited to have such a natural goal scorer in the team again.
I was totally against him. TOTALLY!!
now I am excited.
Macheda and Owen could be a great partnership for United, Easy goals but great to see Michael hitting the back of the net again, He only ever needed the supply which he lacked at NUFC.
Good to see Man U fans r still checkin on the boys once in a while….
Truth is what’s cooking in Malaysia is gonna be really Sweeeeeeeeeeet!
Glory United!!!
i loved the way giggsy gave tosic a pat on the back after that cross and goal
I love the Macheda pass out to the edge of the 6 yd box for the ball to come back and him to score.
Reminds me of that time when Cole and Yorke did something slightly similar to get a 3-2 win in Turin against Juventus.

Too easy, but good to see Macheda & Owen scoring. A new double act ala York-Cole?
