  2. denton davey says:

Two fabulous goals. What a great way to win.

    rooney’s goal….left me speechless…just wow

  4. voiceofmu says:

Earnt his wedge there rooney. The guy has always had class despite his critics and doubters. Yes he’s took us to the cleaners with his wages but if he can carry on doing that sort of thing week in week out now who cares. Pleased for him and ulitmately United. One of the defining moments of our season..

  5. smartalex says:

Sir Alex said that for execution, you won’t see a better goal than Rooney’s scorcher.

  6. lidija says:

out of this world – fabulous, sensational, better then Berbatov goal, Rooney-one and only

  7. dannysoya says:

this is a nice quote from my friend/ ” i stood there for five minutes stunned by that goal” WHAT A STRIKE SON!!!!

  8. hammons says:

Hate to say it, but Nani’s goal was just as classy as Rooney’s. Just depends what you value more – team goal or individual moment of brilliance.

    @hammons

I definitely have to agree. Nani’s goal was brilliance as well, great team work, and a wonderful finish. The great finish by Nani epitomizes his tremendous improvement. And in a derby game, such a cool finish was fantastic.

  10. RedLife says:

    two outstanding goals.

  11. Konjour says:

@lidija…i won’t take anything away from Rooney’s goal, but to define it as a better one than berba’s goal of the season really looks and is biased. On their day, either one of them can score a totally unbelievable goal, but pitching one teammate’s goal over another does not promote teamplay. The objective of any team is to win regardless of which of them put the ball in the net. Morever, nani’s too was something totally different. Sheer class.

  12. MyCowIsTheBest says:

some were left speechless and stunned by Rooney’s beautiful goal.

i couldnt control myself shouting and jumping inside a cafe.. it was just..suddenly i jumped. haha. My other half was embarrassed. but who cares.

  13. Little Red Ant says:

perfect strike – that is how it feels to Shitty Vol 56 Chap 9 …………… :o )

  14. willierednut says:

Big players, win the big games. Gotta love a derby win! The artist formerly known as Wazza, returned from his self imposed exile, to break City hearts.

  15. Farhan Borst says:

Gotta love the bench celebrations too. Shows what it means to the whole United dressing room.

  16. smartalex says:

    Sir Alex
“Nani’s opening goal was fantastic but it will be completely forgotten. Nobody in their right sense will even talk about it. All the talk will be about Wayne Rooney’s winning goal – it was unbelievable. I have not seen anything like that.”

  17. SqueakyRed says:

Superb goals both, but Ando celebrating Rooneys goal is brilliant !!

  18. lidija says:

everything you say is true- but after all that was said about Rooney…..he is a maestro of our team as well.Nani’s goal pure class,on his day Berba is maestro as well- but today it’s all about Roo’s goal.I hope talks of Rooney on the bench are history

  19. bucko123 says:

i have to say nani and rooney’s goals were marvellous and you wont see much more better goal this season but what annoys me is why does no one talk about chris smalling and how good he was today . has to be the man of the match without a doubt , didnt put 1 foot wrong for the whole 90 minutes and was as solid as vidic and i have to say maybe next year or maybe the year after smalling will be our main man alongside vidic in defence.

  20. Dave Malaysia says:

2 brilliant goals by Manutd. I am so happpeeeeyyyyy.

  21. parjo says:

I woke up this morning and had a huge smile on my face. Thank you Rooney , you still has that long bridge to mend with the fan, but keep it up and you’ll be fine.

  22. wayne says:

    two great goals

  23. kel says:

I like the reaction of the bench when we score. But anyone notice the field reaction? Only Nani, Giggs seems to be happy when Rooney score. Scholes, Fletcher seems to not be celebrating. Not sure if they are tired or they are in shock…

  24. Toby says:

Anyone know what Evra was doing when he walked towards the cround with his hands on his head after hugging rooney?

  25. muluken ayele says:

    fifa puskas 2011 goal
