Vida is a legend!
Veni-Vidi-Vidic
He Came He Saw He Kicked Their Heads In!
What a LEGENDDDDDD
Phew! In true Utd style, late! Incidently, can anyone throw any light on this supposed Anderson statement?
he got voted best european talent by an italian magazine, and in the interview said he felt italian football is the best and he’s always liked inter who he would like to play for one day and hopefully under mourinho, who is a porto legend. It’s the usual bullshit, and only time will tell how much he wants to leave united to play for them
Anderson has said he one day wants to play at inter under mourinho.
Bit like Ronaldos “One day i want to play in Spain” comments.
I’m not worried right now.
But Thank God for Vidic!
VIVA LA VIDA!
Cheers Sam, Utdgirl15. Sincerely hope its total nonsense,it would beggar belief ,if after the Ronnie/Madrid fiasco, Ronnies great mate would make statements like that. Surely the press wouldn’t tell fibs?
Lets forget about Ando for now and hear it for Vida……Legend!!!!!!
i have another version of the video….
What this video doesnt show is that fantastic run down the goal-line by Vidic with his arms flailing like mad and the stretford end erupt in delight sharing his energy….look at the emotion on his face and all the other United players as they converge…..Class!!!!
and whats most heartening is that Ryan Giggs at the ripe old age of 36 is the most chuffed of them all…..Brilliant!!
Here’s the link if anyone wants to see it…

its funny but we had vidic a CB gambling that the keeper would spill it and made that run into the box… while berba just looked on – berbas a quality player but i really do wish he starts to get some goals
Good link Abhay. Great winning 4/5-0 but dont you just love those late late shows sometimes?! Vida, you’re the man!
Excellent goal by Vidic. It was a goalpoacher goal, and purley by his never say die attitude he was at the right place at the right time just like Solskjær, Cole or Nistelrooy. Which is what I thought we bought in Berbatov. Berbatovs skills are world class, no doubt, but he’s lacking that never say die attitude.
Vidic is at 17 and Berbatov is at 11 meters when Carrick strikes the ball. We’re 0-0 in stoppage time home against Sunderland. What does Berbatov do – he’s a spectator, watching the shot, watching the rebound. Vidic and Tevez are storming forwards, but Berbatov dosen’t even take a sniff at a possible rebound.
I don’t care jack shit about Berbatov not tracking back ala Rooney or Tevez , but I do care jack shit about him not being in those situations, scoring those kinds of goals, on those important occasions. It’s extremly vital during a long and difficult season, and I thought Berbatov would do that kind of job. He’s improving bit by bit, but I think it’s time for Tevez to get a decent run very soon.
We kept going for 95 full minutes today, and we never gave in. Gotta give the lads creds for not giving in. That’s why we’re Chamipons!
I just thought I’d see it once more before going to bed, and if you look at the AVI-clip “Abhay_Red devil till death” posted Vidic is sprinting forward like Usain Bolt coming from our own half. Afterwards he runs pointing at Mike Phelean giving him credit – my guess is that Mike Phelean before that gave Vidic a yelling reminder he was playing up front, and that he should get up there. Not a difficult thing to do, but it has to be done. Well done, Mike!
aren’t you guys biased towards Berba?? not like i’m unhappy with Vidic scoring, but the ball was freaking deflected and came off the post! it can go anywhere! -.-
Even though one accepts that Berba is no spring chicken n one doesnt expect him to be running around the entire pitch with fervor bbut atleast in the final third he should shake off his torpor n for once show that he’s capable of putting a good run in for about 60-70 min. Its very frustating to see him loitering around when Tevez n Rooney are putting everything into the show. Long live the Vidic Legend!!!!!
Point is his that he dosent try to get in a better posision for a rebound. The all could’ve gone anywhere, but not to where Berba was positioned.
a fat frank special from carrick
Better late than never. Great celebration as well , arms going mad. Played well over 94 min, 70 odd % of possesion and yet on match of day Alan Hansen said “United played very very poorly” . What a twat
king eric so fuckin true…did that YSB see the incredulous stats
