Fair analysis yep, anything could happen tonight. Fergie talking about attacking Madrid has me tweet hopeful, out attack hasn’t left us down in the league and I don’t think wazza or rvp will be scared tonight. I’m actually really looking forward to seeing Rooney tonight, he is scoring and he is working his heart out at the money for us. People can call him a fat bastard all they like but he has been giving so much all over the pitch and if he keeps that up tonight we are on good hands, take a yellow to give Cristiano a thump too ;-)

rafa and valencia to handle Ronnie, with an inside mid with an eye on him also. Fergie’s team selection this year has been so unpredictable, and with RVP and Rooney playing 90 mins on Sunday it is really hard to guess at the line up. Hopefully Jose’ is having the same problem. We’ve seen 5 across the middle a few times this year, usually to defend a lead, I could see that happening today. I have a sneaky suspicion that we will see a 4-5-1 with Valencia and Welbeck on the wings. Danny’s speed on the break, Defensive responsibility and total commitment could be key to nuetralizing their wing play.
    Valencia-Rooney- Welbz
    RVP/lil’ Pea
Think Fergie might start chico and have RVP come on in the second half if we need a goal.
Come on United, what a day this could turn out to be!

Montanared – I just can’t see benching RVP, much as I’d love to see a “Christmas tree” with three midfielders (MC16, YoungTom and Anderson) and a “withdrawn” duo of RVP andTheWayneBoy.

Really, when you consider that that formation would sit SirRyanGiggs, Nani, AV7, DannyTheLad, KagawaBunga, and also AshleyYoung then what you are looking at is an embarrassment of riches.

I know it’s a crazy thought but both he and Rooney playing 90 on Sunday has got me wondering if the there is a surprise coming, I’m going out on a limb but Fergie rarely if ever does what we all expect or want. Can’t wait to see the line-ups – god I hope we get it right. Pretty optimistic though, everyone playing well, even Valencia has started to come around a bit. cheers!
