Thats quite alot of good qualities highlighted from just 1 match.
He seems to be able to find a pass in tight situations as well, alot of these young “starlets” loose the ball a lot.
Im suprised the media arnt calling hime the “next ribery”

Pretty solid player, very composed and fluid. Sorta reminds me of Welbeck on the ball sometimes, very pacy and direct.
Good vision on some of the passes and flicks, and a well taken goal too. Now if Fergie and the staff can help him develop his crossing than he would be brilliant.
He has all the tools and with the proper coaching, he has the potential to go far. Hopefully he doesn’t disappoint.

I’m watching United’s 99,02,03 season review now and I think if we were to play interesting football again, we need 3 players which is
1) a player worthy of no.7 shirt. Obertan wearing no.7 for France but I don’t think he, Owen or Valencia is fitting the shirt’s responsibility. But you never know if Sir Alex decides to give it to one of them. No 7 is a starting 11 number after all….
2) A striker who can take his chance well (sort of Andy Cole, Ole, Nistelrooy type). Right now there’s not many player able to do this ( some of them are Huntelaar, Villa and Torres…)
3)A center midfielder/ playmaker who is inspirational and match winner type.
I’m not saying our recent years game is not interesting but it’s just not consistent. Some of you might say ‘yeah, we won, who the fuck cares’ but I think deep inside you all knows better. Anyway, I believe in Sir Alex and there’s still a long way before the new season starts…

crossing and shooting can be worked on. his physique will get better.
he will probably be knocked over a lot in his first games. he will have to deal with that.
he is tall as well. i hope he can work on his head work.
if all goes to plan obertan will be a marquee name very soon.

Looks like potential but obviously needs polishing at Carrington.
Natural left foot and looked to be quite a quick thinker which will be critical in the premier league and with our breaking attack style.

at least he didnt throw a fit after he got subbed…i like him..the vidoes ive seen of him 2 years ago he had a diff playing style…he was more like a henry/van persie..but he’s completely changed fergies gonna bring that back in addition to his style now and how to balance the two..ahhhh fergieee you genioussss

i doubt sir alex will buy a playmaker. he does not like playmakers, because then teams just mark him out of the game like veron or see riquelme at villareal against arsenal in champions league.
he prefers creative wide players thats why u see us buying obertan, valencia and maybe costa and back them up with strong running midfielders.
BUT one player i think that is made for us is AGUERO. apart from his height and heading ability he has everything that ronaldo has and a bit more even i think.

He has a similar physique and similar playing qualities to Henry. He is tall,quick&talented. Nationality and skin colour have NO bearing in a comparison! And no one wants to be compared to a player who lacks quality do they.

When Ronaldo first came to United he had a lot of things to improve. It was sometimes very frustrating to watch him. I hope Fergie can do the same with this guy. This guy is already 20 years old, Ronaldo was only 18 when he arrived. But footballers can improve at any age, just look at Fletcher!

Anyways, what this shows is that we really dont need to buy more players. Im happy with the squad we have right now.

Scholes/Giggs – how long can they play for?
What happens when Fletcher gets injured? I hope they are looking at this situation, I fully trust that our manager will deal with this

Obertan looks pretty good, but the price worries me. If his potential is so good, then why only 3M?
We paid 13M for Ronaldo, 12M – Nani, 18M – Anderson etc, and looking in France Loic Remy transferred to Nice for supposedly 8M when he was 21. So compared to alot of similiar transfer’s, he’s coming in cheapily. The question is, why?
Saying that though, He does look like a good player in the video’s, he has the frame to build into a strong player, along with his directness he could be great.

reserve….oberton(1 year)…tocic (need physical strength)..giggs(aged..but can contribute)…harg(not fit…or back to first team)…scoles(dont know)…

hargreves can fill xx position easily but we cant count on him..the injury for him will last for his life time.and fletcher he is above avg..but we need a really top class player
