Molde beat title rivals Rosenbourg 2-0 after Pape Diouf scored on the hour mark and Etzaz Hussain wrapped up the win in the fourth minute of injury time.
Ahead of kick off, Molde were second in the league on goal difference behind Rosenbourg. After leading the table for weeks, Molde lost and drew their two previous games, allowing Rosenbourg to catch up.
Molde are now three points clear at the top of the Norwegian league with three games left to play. If they were to win the league, this would be successive titles for them, having never previously won the league in their 100 year history until Ole lead them to glory last season.

Man Utd News 24/7

that’s of course ex-red junior Etzaz Hussain who scores
personally a Rosenborg fan, so I’m not happy. but I’m happy for OGS
Possible manager for united at some point. He obviously has learnt from the grand master fergie during his time as a player. Should stay at molde, test his tactical knowledge and improve in europe.
What a guy
wow, well done Ole. My all time fav united player
perfect role model.
When moronho does it, it lacks the class and happiness that Ole can bring about to the celebration.
Heh, old habits die hard. Like Gandalf, Ole is also my favorite United player of all time.
I remember hearing that his celebration at the Nou Camp was what kickstarted his knee problems?
watch the knees Ole!
Haha, and people slate Mourinho for doing the same celebration. Ole doing fine, perhaps after this he should get a taste of a bigger club and be in contention for the hot seat in 5 years time since Sir Alex mentioned before whoever comes in will need experience
Love Ole. So glad he has stuck to his guns and stayed home to raise his profile and raise his kids the way he wanted. Kind of doubt he will come back to manage United. Still a class guy for me.
More chatter that Nani is off. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-winger-nani-is-set-1406092
“Molde beat title rivals Rosenbourg 2-0 after Pape Diouf ”
Isn’t that the guy who had about 18 months at OT ?
While a lot of chatter has suggested that UTD have wrapped-up Pep to succeed SAF this summer, I’d be surprised if OGS isn’t in UTD’s future.
Also, there was a rumor that Fergie had banned these kinds of celebrations because of the risk to the ACL?!
Seems Robin and Wayne didn’t read the memo
On holiday in France last summer we ended up spending a couple of evenings with Norwegians from very different backgrounds, one a 40-something single-mother businesswoman, the others a couple who worked in social services in Oslo. As soon as they learned I was a Manchester United fan (that doesn’t take long, as the missus will confirm) their eyes ll lit up and they all wanted to know if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would get the managership at Old Trafford, something they all clearly devoutly wished for. What was also nice about these highly enjoyable conversations was that each of the Norwegians was keen to stress just what a decent human being Ole is, a man of great integrity and social awareness, respected by almost everyone. And they all said, ‘Ole is also a winner…’

Why is Clattenburg getting acused of racism, not by Chelsea but putting the idea out there that that could be the accusation and not denying it and defending Clattenburg if wrong.
Easy to explain.
Because the Chelsea fans smacked up a black steward and don’t want a Terry incident all over again rather making someone guilty of a Terry incident against Mikel and co. The link above is to a story, look at the picture, look at the stray punching arm after contact.
Chelsea should be deducted points.
@denton
No, that was Mame Biram Diouf.
What a monday, if all monday mornings could be as this one life would never bore….
Im loving chavs cryfaced fans really lad hit them in style lastnight. Both clubs getting 50/50 decisions although us getting the game changing one. You have got to love the their fans throwing missiles and booing rio due to his brother being abused racially by their captain really? Why the heck did they assault that guy after chichas winner and threw a piece of a seat into the pitch was it in an attempt to stop the match or simply a clear sign of their bitterness
Good going Ole!
If you saw the photo of how the steward literally flew backwards, you will definitely feel gor the guy.

Not the first time Chelsea trying to end someone’s career, won’t be the last at this rate. If everytime a ref needs to retire after screwing us, there won’t be any refs left in the game!

Good article about the ulsterman.
Chelsea are such good sportsmen.

Samuel, Jonny has been a revelation. But most forget that he played a key roll last year and had a string of good games partnering Rio.
One of the things many overlook in saying that Torres should have gone down yesterday is the problem it creates for Evans. Is that dive a sending off for Evans. The second yellow might have been harsh, but a straight red on Evans would have been a travesty.
If you don’t think Torres hit the ground to get a free kick, why did he roll around clutching an unaffected knee, if not to get Evans sent off.
Does anyone have a clip of the incident between rooney and Ashley Cole just before Rooney was sub’d off?
Chav lads seem to be making a meal of it. Sending off worthy or something?
For all those Chelsea fans saying the steward slipped and injured his hamstring or whatever..
http://thepeoplesperson.com/video-footage-of-chelsea-steward-injury-against-manchester-united/
Like fuck he did.
OGS will always have a special place in my heart, LEGEND!! I hope he wins a successive league title, confirming him as a Molde legend as well. I believe he has all the necessary qualities to be a top manager and my hope is that he’ll one day be our manager and win things with us
.
Exactly how we see it, so stop complaining you morons = http://www.football365.com/manchester-united/8204465/Former-Premier-League-referee-Dermot-Gallagher-explains-Fernando-Torres-red-card?
@costas – I recall Ole saying in an interview few years ago that the knee injury was not because of that celebration at nou camp.
@fletch – I remember an incident in the match, rooney just put his hand near his stomach and ashley cole jumped to his left side like he was punched. Definite dive from cole. I’m not sure if that was the incident before he was subbed off. I’m planning to watch match after work, guess I will look out for it
Gandalf, Cheers son. Appreciate your detailed analysis. From my recollection, there was nothing in it.
Expect some Chelsea fans to get banned for this. Shocking!
CFC will blame it on Hernandez
[Warning] not for the faint of heart.

What did I say. All this Clattenburg bullshit is to divert the attention from the fan that punched the black steward. To fog the issue of another white v black episode from chavy Chelsea. You can see from the photo I linked to earlier that the fan in question is looking at the steward when every other fan is looking at Hernandez with hate. You can also see that his cuff has ridden up his forearm, tell tale sign of someone who has thrown a punch and his whole body has twisted to put as much force into it as possible.
Clatenburg is innocent, Chelsea havent said a racist slur has been used rather said something inapropriate was said and said it was to a black player making us assume the worst. What really happened was their own racism reared its ugly head.
Fletchtheman 19:17-no one will get banned for it, they are united fans in disguise , looking to bring the great club into dIsrepute
Redbilly. LOL so hard it hurts mate. Sigh.
Goat. Cheers. No way it is “crowd surge” as suggested by CFC.
The video link shows not movement and we know those are all fixed seats.
It had to be an object or an impact that tossed the steward forward for him to tumble like that.
Deluded Chav fans on blogs are saying the steward must have been a United supporter? WT# has that got to do with anything?! Many stewards support the team and are well know to fans in the section. Chelsea any different?
Ole is like a young Jose Mourinho without the superiority complex.

the conversation between clattenburg and mata/torres
I for myself don’t see anything suspisious. I know this doesn’t belong here, but just out of interest.
SOme are commenting that he said yeah and you’re spanish, that’s not my fault.
what do you think
PPL forget the 2 chelsea games
2009/10 season
chelsea 1 0 united
let us not forget the decisions went their way in that game
2010/11 season
chelsea 2 1 united
and it happened again, looks like Chelsea got a taste of their own medicine
@ WeAreUnited
I’m no lip reader, but there’s no way the word he says there is ‘Spanish’. It’s either, as some have suggested, ‘bollocks’, or more likely ‘punished’, the latter of which could easily be misheard as ‘Spanish’.
I can’t see it myself either, so they are making everything up.
And if it’s true that Clattenburg used offensive language, then it’s a shame that he did. Nobody should do it.
I just highly doubt it.
The most Important thing is 3point and we won chelski.
Yeah he’s not saying spanish, I think it’s “bollocks”! But hey I’m not a lip reader.
Hope Ole wins the league again and hopes he takes at least another year with Molde. I think he would learn a lot from managing the same club for a few years before doing bigger things in England! A great knee slide from him, hasn’t forgotten how to celebrate at least!
Also looking forward to watch our youngsters give Chelski a hammering on Wednesday! Our star signing Bebe should finish them off!
BEBE FOR THE WINNER!
Bebe always scores, no matter how bad his all around play is
Give him a chance then bang! He scores!
That’s what I love about the kid, although I’m not sure about his chances tomorrow night.
Will the scot pick him, that’s the quiz, hopefully he does.
Bebe for tomorrow ‘s game!
It’s a good thing John Terry wasn’t playing on Sunday.
We might have seen the first ever player to swap tops with a referee.
If Mark Clattenburg did indeed make a racist remark then Chelsea will be left with no option but to make him captain
Rohan_19…. Lol, that’s a good one!
Paddy Crerand on M.U.T.V talking about Suarez’ mock dive in front of Moyes “That’s bad manners and disrespect from him .He’s a good player but he’s the sort of person you wouldn’t tire of punching” ..Hahahahaha..Lolzzz
These Chelsea players / staff are a bunch of sore losers. Always accusing referees when things don’t go their way.
This was taken off the Guardian for something that happened years ago:
Chelsea lodged a complaint against Graham Poll in November 2006 after he sent off Terry during a 2-1 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane , a decision that caused fury among his team-mates and José Mourinho, then the manager.
Two years ago Poll told the Daily Mail: “Terry came to see me immediately after the game, the first time in my career any player had done that. He seemed happy to accept my explanation of the two yellow cards. But the day after the game Ashley Cole accused me of having told Chelsea’s players I wanted to ‘teach them a lesson’ and Terry said I had said one thing to him on the pitch and another in the dressing room after the game. A fortnight later Chelsea withdrew all of their allegations and Terry was fined £10,000 for what he had claimed.”
Is this what is going to happen from now on in. As soon as a team lose and feel the ref had a part to play in it all they are going to do is play the race card. Really every fucking week. No one talks football anymore.
The only way to fix this I feel is to force every club over a period of 2 years to sell all their black players and making it an exclusively white league. It would be best if there wasnt any spanish, italians in the team, nor the french. The germans are a big no no and the russians the commie bastards have no place. I dont think Buttner shouldn’t stay as he is a gypo and a referee may say something along the lines of caravan dweller. Probably best not to have any yanks in either as they led us to war. The scottish want independence and that will only lead to ill feeling and haggis calling. The welsh and their sheep, the scousers and their crowd dispersal tactics, the geordies because theyre geordies. Fuck it, ban football, its fucking shit now anyways. let Rio win Britains got talent and let Rooney do some beer comercial with a serial love theme twist like the old coffee adds. Turn Old Trafford into a public swimming baths. One pool for blacks and black life guards and one for whites. The whites can have the bigger pool as the blacks cant swim!
blah blah blah…………………….
P.S anyone who doesnt like this text can fuck off and stop calling me a honkey racst twat. Thats utterly offensive and Im really going to throw my rattle out of pram if you carry on.
Singh7
Paddy Crerrand has openly talked about the use of violence on Suarez and condonned such actions. At best the scottish pundit and ex player should be hung untill he’s dead. But he’ll probably get away with a repremand or sacking from his post at MUTV and probably have to sit through a 10 week anger management course with a bunch of bean flickers.
It was so much better when there were real celebrities on TV that new how to talk to the people, oh you know Jimmy Saville et al.
@Goat Peticoat
Says it all really.

Sad state of affairs isnt my friend.
By the way your moniker is out dated and should surely now read Rooneys hair implants, lol.
It’s amazing how out of touch you are with reality and worryingly enough, there are loads more with this pre-historic strange mentality who are, never going to change.
Paddy Crerrand was clearly making a joke and said as much several times.
What he was saying, in essence, is that Suaraz needs to grow up.
samuel are you talking to me fella, if so its a joke what I wrote, its so obviously sarcastic and stupid I thought even you would home in on that.
FletchTHEMAN
I direct you to the response I gave the right honourably gentleman a few moments ago.
Just looking at de gea’s performance against chelsea and you start to realise united have some keeper in their possession. We need to persevere with david because as he gathers experience, gets a better grip with the language to communicate with defenders, gains more belief to command the box, he has the potential to be world class. Hopefully fergie has stopped rotating, de gea should be number 1.
Goat – i get most jokes, but we need to draw a line on some things. Anyone reading your comments would not see the joke, i certainly didn’t. Come on now.
samuel
Dont make it into something its not pal. Its a joke. Fullstop. Its so obviously stupid even a fucking retard would get it. Get a grip. What is this, any form of confrontation, any form of joke, any form of comunication with emotion attached and I have to watch my tongue. Up your arse, we are a million miles away from future speak as set out by Orwell in his 1984.
Get a grip
Goat Cheers.
What is the thinking about Chelsea v Clattenburg (AKA: Chelsea v League Referees Association)?
All I can say is this is Terry part II in terms of Chavs collectively putting pie in each others faces.
On the bright side. CSKALandon may not get another call the entire season.
Putting a fiver on relegation in the morning.
I’m not making it into anything you didn’t already do yourself, i’m sure i’m not the only one who will come to the conclusion that i did. Fair enough goat, if you say it’s a “daft joke” then we can only go with what you type up.
I won’t be defending goat as he is well able to do it himself. For me his comments are obviously tongue in cheek and I had a good laugh. The post kind of puts into perspective how ridiculous everything has become. Almost a year to the day on from the Terry Ferdinand thing and just when it had been put to bed a whole new saga has been spawned and for months if not years to come we will have to endure hearings, tribunals, court cases, appeals, soap operas and hollywood fucking sequels about the can of worms that was opened on Sunday. I for one am sick of it. It’ll be another his word against my word scenario with meanings, interpretations and cultural background, lip-readings, audio and the kitchen fucking sink brought into try and decipher what, if anything was said, by whom and what was meant and understood. If someone had told me before the match that the referee would allegedly make a rascist remark to a Chelsea player I would never have believed it but unbelievebly it’s true. We’re off again on a magical mystery investigation that will solve precisely fuck all and only act as an unwelcome sideshow to
what brings us all together.
I forgot to mention that Paddy Crerands quote was the funnist thing I’ve read for ages.
Right on the money and calling a spade a spade (NO RASCIST PUN INTENDED – I SHOULDNT HAVE TO POINT THAT OUT BUT THINGS ARE GETTING SILLY). He said it in jest but Paddy would be the first in the queue to see if he would actually tire of punching him or not.

Thanks for getting it my friend. I will however from now on in begin all my posts with the following foreword to alert people to the dangers of language. I still reckon this latest sideshow is only a cover up to fill the press with a non story to cover up the fact one of the regular big cheese Chelsea supporters decided to knock a black steward on his arse. They didnt want another chav v black story at Chelsea I guess. Gets back at Clattenburg as well doesnt it, even if all accusations are dropped in a week or so.
Goat, hope it is a badly miscalculated attempt from CFC. This could really damage football, as did the Terry affair. I just think someone up there really doesn’t have a clue in this world. Sad, no I mean really sad.
Can’t really see anything good coming from it.
As to Crerand, I saw the interview. Stewart Gardner had to repeatedly ask Paddy if it was a joke. Patty wasn’t having any of it, and only begrudgingly added that he wasn’t condoning violence…… with a right twinkle in his old eye as well!
Hmmmm Paddy v Swarez? My money is on Paddy …….. hoping he lands the first blow though
@Goat
Nobody is saying you cannot joke, its just that putting a joke on someone’s life is crossing the line. No disclaimers needed, just more common sense and better language. Jokes are suppose to be funny across the board, if someone takes offence with it, its not a joke. I’m with Samuel that I didn’t find it a single bit funny, imagine someone related to Paddy reading this, not funny at all. Or change the joke to be on your name instead, I’m pretty sure it won’t sound any bit funny at all.

Paddy is a bit older a wiser and has probably dealt with the “modern world” a few more times more than the rest of us. The best thing to do is ignore or beat them at their own game. Hell shit I’ll be honest Id love to punch that toothy fucker in the face. Mind you Ill have to pick my shot well as I dont want a tooth embedded in my knuckle and get septicaemia or something nasty like that. Id like to see Paddy have a go, one of my favourite players past. Great and honest man, not enough of them.

As Ive said on here a million times, if people just read the posts as if they heard someone nice write them then they would see the funny side and what they didnt understand or get they would disregard. Except all too often people read a passage and seem to look for conflict or something to argue against therefore the person reading in their head is the Ayotollah, Malcom X or some other snidey nasty fecker with shit for brains. You will live a happier life if you took things with a pinch of salt and replaced your lifes narrator with someone like Larry Grayson or Kenny Everett. Its not always nice to let a seriously suspect individual penetrate deep inside you but they kind of brighten your day. Swings and roundabouts rough with the smooth and all that.
I don’t know about you, but if someone tells me they find something offensive about what I say, I would take it back rather than convince them otherwise

That is your character and good for you. I write about a massive range of topics and am not scared to take up any taboo subject thus by doing so I will naturally offend some. Its like the politician who never has an opinion against the opiniated one, the later never becomes Prime Minister and I have no desire for the office of King of the Faries. If someone finds me offensive they have the right to ignore me, I havent taken that right away from them. Ive explained and added a disclaimer, if that isnt good enough then its a case of tuff titty. Ive done my bit.
Congratulations……one of my favorite Red Devils player. Succession of SAF is in safe hands????

Don’t know if we should feel sad, but what a player he was in his prime.
The Phenomenon, The Original Ronaldo
Goat so funny with the disclaimer.
Better leave that out.
@Marq
The Phenomenon = for me the greatest. The reason why I started playign football.
Well i’m late to the party, ended up going downtown to a pub it was a 10.00am kick off over here, turned into a all day bender.Fucking awesome game knew we’d beat those Rent boy cunts, being saying it for weeks Utd can win most games by outscoring opposition. Now i watched that shite on Saturday City and Le Arse boring narrow possession shit then that game on Sunday,as a fan i want to be entertained not to be bored to death i’ll take Utd’s open style of play every time
RVP has to be close to being the best striker in the world comparing 50mill man Torres to RVP,fuck me Torres is shit and to see his expression after he dived and got the second yellow was fucking priceless.Think it’s save to say Nani not getting a look in even when Rent boys went down to 9 men signals the end of his career, whatever’s gone on between him and Sir Alex seems irreparable
Goat mate i’ve learned being a Englishman in Canada not everyone gets sarcasm
A little more on the original Ronaldo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVueW6X7TM0&feature=related
How he makes dribbling looks easy. No need for a hundred stepovers to get past a defender like what many of today’s “star players” do. Probably only Maradona and Best were as efficient as he was.
Why the fuck are you posting this Ronaldo crap on a Utd blog, erm want to see dribbling made easy show George Best clips
@WeAreUnited – thanks for that link man. I must suck at being a lip reader, coz I couldn’t make the first part of what he said. Think he ended his sentence with ‘not my fault’ though – looks like it.
From his body language, he appears pretty balanced and no sense of any anger, unlike lionheart terry. So I think if this video is the only one evidence, then no censure for the ref I think.
What else is the ref supposed to do, the chelsea players were moaning and cussing at him all match! Mikel should have been sent off too, so chelsea can count themselves lucky.
Football is becoming a sad business these days, sucking the joy and gamesmanship out.

Ok wth this was not me. I’ve never seen this username used before by someone else and I doubt it’s a fucking coincidence! What’s the purpose? What, fucking what?
Goat I think I’m one of the few who enjoys your humour. The way things are going the next post is going to say ‘won’t someone please think of the children’.
As for Paddy punching Suarez – He mightn’t be able to as the toothy one will be on the deck in agony before he gets to swing his fist.
What Clattenburg really said
Mikel: Why give a red?
MarkC: “Torres nobbut femmer, poor body. Nowt a dog-laup to pass”
Translation from Geordie: The lad torres is weak and fell over. There weren’t but a wisp of space to pass.
Mikel: Why you give him a red?
MarkC: “Reet laddy, I hadn’t a twonk wiv me”
Translation from Geordie: Well I would have given him a plank up the head, but I gave him a red instead.
The complaint of alleged racism is being brought by….wait for it…..wait for it…..The Society of Black Lawyers. Would a society that excludes non-blacks not in itself be rascist?
This is just the beginning of the magical mystery rollercoaster ride I alluded to earlier.
Look, if goat has the time on his hands to write up disclaimers (trust me, you can’t do it forever as even companies copy and paste it) then great but i don’t think Marq or anyone were off the mark to ask the logic behind a bonkers like post. You say it’s a form of pathetic “sarcasm” or “joke” which is fair enough, we all have different demeanour/sense of humour but you have to admit, behind every form of “it’s only a joke” is some of the author’s true feelings. At the end of the day, it’s a blog and the internet is free for all species (wierd and wonderful), you can say whatever you want, no one will stop you and i guess in a,way closes this issue, if i see posts similar to this, i will rewind to goat’s advice of “it’s a joke” and therefore, not take notice without needing the excessive and baffling disclaimer.
Lastly, a lot of people have a mentality of “let’s walk by, the problem will go away” I think some people can’t stand the fact all these hidden discriminating actions have been highlighted more than ever before, you want the issue swept under the carpet as it has been done for several years, guess some disagree with that. To be fair though, highlighting will not solve the issue either, people will think, say and do things in the way they like. T-Shirts, banners, slogans, campaigns, petitions and any other Bullshit educating crap conjured up within Football and in society has and will never solve the issue, so why do we bother? Let’s put our heads down like the ancient minds would have it, pretend that society has no issue, mankind is wonderful. Fantastico!
@Samuel
“I think some people can’t stand the fact all these hidden discriminating actions have been highlighted more than ever before”
“To be fair though, highlighting will not solve the issue either”
So what are you saying exactly?
@wayne
I put up those links to show the demise of a great player, one that made us cry before. Yes this is a United blog, but I believe we can show some other good stuff about football no? Yes we celebrate United, but we celebrate football too, and we talk about other good players too. So chill mate, it doesn’t have to be United be all end all.
De Gea’s save from Torres. Not too shabby. As far as I remember there wasn’t a single replay of the save. Now I don’t want to go into another Hart vs. De Gea argument but had it been Hart making the save the cameras would have zoomed in on him, for about half a lifetime, while the commentators would have got out the dictionary and given him all the superlatives in the world.
http://i.minus.com/ibsk4zumpR1kJg.gif
Bobby – i’m saying exactly what i have posted and what you’ve quoted. if you don’t get it then i’m afraid, i can’t clarify any further.
Thanks for the link Diego. Yea, there haven’t been any replays on that save. I thought the ball was straight at DDG and he simply palmed it away, but looking at it now, he was actually at full stretch.
Stunning save
@Samuel – I wasn’t having a dig by any means, I just wanted to highlight the fact that it is an impossible issue to handle. It’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
How anyone can give De Gea shtick for a supposed “mistake” on his part in Mata’s goal is fucking unbelievable. ABUs Clutching straws at its best. De Gea AND Joe Hart could’ve been in the net and it would’ve gone in. Tip the cap when credit’s due, don’t print bile in hopes of conjuring up readership. Sickening.
To be honest, I for one am quite pleased De Gea gets zero fucking respect. Let the lad have a massive chip on his shoulder and every time he dons the gloves have him play like he’s something to prove.
If he makes a career out of proving media ABUs wrong I will be rightly chuffed. The lad can sop shots, there’s no question and yet the only media attention he garners is mismanaged crosses and the likes. David, you sir have the unwavering support of anyone who can recognize world class talent. Run with it, put your head down and make Old Trafford your home for many years to come.

I for one will hold my hand up and say I was wrong – dead wrong. I said DeGea was a lightweight dago. I said I prefered germanic keepers as I felt the body mass and intelligence was a factor in being a good goal keeper. I prefereed Neuer as our goal keeper. I even prefered Lindegaard to start the season and have him in my RoM fantasy football team. But DeGea has been fucking outstanding. His reflex saves are something else and I can now see why we payed such a hefty price for him, it is obvious he will improve in his weaker areas as he is already taking great strides. I still think Hart is the better goal keeper but thats because I have him as worlds No1. Neuer I havent seen play so I cant make my mind up. Unfortunately every time I watch german football I go all stiff and serious and end up slapping my missus with my salami and trying to get her to become GGG. Still a no there, grrrrrr!. But I do reckon DeGea has the ability to be as good or better than them, something I though impossible before.
I think I heard david shout ‘left’ [best moment of the match]
Then he made a stunning save using his foot, twice, both were two brilliant saves
The kid has a very bright future ahead of him, man, saves he makes are unreal, he’s soo agile and quick, something 85% of the keepers in the league do not contain possess.
David I offer you my full support, you can count on me throughout your career, I believe you can succeed at old trafford despite…….
For me HE is the one to take us forward after our beloved Sir Alex !!!!
Come on Ole’. Make me cry with joy as our manager like you used to make me cry with joy when you where a player and a Legend with us !
Ole (I can never remember how to spell his surname) used to say that the reason he made such an impact from the bench is because he followed the match intently and observed how defenders moved etc and then looked to exploit that when he came on. That shows someone who studies the game and no doubt he observed Sir Alex and the United coaching staff during his time and that is entirely consistent with him being a successful manager. Whether he ends up here or not I don’t know but he’s young and has a long career in management ahead so it could be in 20 years time.
De Gea has been excellent. He performances have been excellent in general and while he needs to
polish a few rough edges in his game he is more than worthy of being our number 1. The saves he makes can’t get much better but in time he will dominate hix box better, improve on crosses and decision making etc.
Stan fuckingmore at it again:
“Everton are no more a long ball team than Man United.” – Stan Collymore. Jesus christ this guy goes from bad to worse…
OFF TOPIC. HAHAHAHAHA I love the way Chelsea are playing this race row. I hope it comes out that clattenburg in fact did not say anything and that the chelsea players accused clattenburg of breaking his legs. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Chelsea about to be ripped to shreds in the press LMAOOO.
Off topic..
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/oct/29/10-talking-points-premier-league
read what sachin nakrani wrote about berbatov…..
can’t help but laugh at arsenal for being down 3-0 to reading in the 22nd minute…
scratch that – 20th minute.
ryan- maybe they are saving themselves for us
redbilly – they must be terrified then
Ronaldo is just wow, the technique he had wow.
Maradona, Best, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo had that flair, and now Messi. These are those players that won games by themselves.
You say Messi is nothing without Barca, but for me Barca is nothign without Messi.
That being said. Ronaldo the phenom. I will never forget his hattrick against us. I felt sad and happy at the same time. Cause he was a genius.

Ronaldinho touch wow
a bit offtopic,
Tomowrrow will be interestind, I am so much waiting for the game. DAmn it.
2-0 for us. Welbeck and Hernandez will score 1 penalty and one offside goal hahah. I so much wish it would go like that, so Chelsea could moan more. hahaha
seriously talking. 2-0 for us
4-1 half-time fucking hell, no pride
Fucking hell, what injustice for Reading. The game should have ended long before they equalised.
Let’s see what media cunts will make of this. We all know what would have happened had it been United!
The internet would be in meltdown had that just been us scoring that late. Nothing will be made of it. I actually went and looked at a Liverpool forum expecting to find 10 threads on how Arsenal are bribing the refs and how everything is fixed. Apparently, now the stress the fact that it is a MINIMUM of 4 added minutes. Funny how that isn’t the argument when it happens to us. They really are a retarded species.
Now Arse is leading.
Lets get past Chelsea tomorrow night and then we’ll stuff them in the next round!

Two unidentified England Under-21 players are among 12 people who have been charged by Serbian police for their part in the on-pitch brawl following the game in Krusevac earlier this month.
Five Serbia U21 players and the assistant coaches of both teams have also been charged.
The FA statement read:
“Further to the Serbian police announcement regarding charging English Under-21 players and staff, the Football Association can confirm it has not received any formal notification of any charges filed by the Serbian authorities. We have not been made aware of any of the names of individuals connected with these charges and we therefore await further details and formal communication on these matters. Meanwhile we are in contact with the British Government for advice, as well as speaking with our colleagues at UEFA.”

“Maradona, Best, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo had that flair, and now Messi. These are those players that won games by themselves.
You say Messi is nothing without Barca, but for me Barca is nothign without Messi.”
Football is a team game – none of those players win games by themselves. And far more players than those, and damn better ones than Ronaldinho, may be the difference or the star men, but that’s totally different.
Barca is nothing without Messi? A good chunk of that Barca team are world and European champions with Spain. Again, it’s a team sport and Barcelona as a club made Messi – not the other way round.
Slow day at RoM I take it? Ah well, this one caught my eye.
@Bobby Charlton’s Combover
Ask yourself mate, how is a society of black lawyers any different from a society of…. say….. Jewish lawyers? We can assume both would have restrictive terms on their membership, right? That means you’d have to be black (funnily enough) to be in the black lawyers society, and you’d have to be (you guessed it) Jewish to be a member of the Jewish lawyers society.
But ffs don’t stop there!!!
In a women’s society (You have to be a woman)
In a youth society (You have to be a youth)
In an English society? (I think you get the gist)
Correct me if im wrong mate, but when people recently read about the existence of the black lawyers society there was a sudden cry of “Oh my Good God!!!”, “what could they possibly want with their own lawyers society????”
The answer is simple.
Every other sod has their own organisation so why should black lawyers be any different? Isn’t right of association something the English bang on about giving to the rest of the world? Oh and don’t forget the legal sector is probably the most institutionally racist in this country, according to the legal sector ITSELF.
But the funny thing is, If women were complaining about not being able to join a mens club we’d call that Penile Envy wouldn’t we? Yeah? Well im not sure how I’d describe scepticism towards the black lawyer society tho haha.
Hope this has helped in some way mate – but failing that just email them (the black lawyers) and ask them to justify their existence for you. Don’t beat around the bush either, ask them straight – “why do you black lawyers need your own society aye??” “Enquiring minds want to know” and see what response you get. If you ask me it sounds fucking daft when you say it out loud but there you go.
If you do email im sure they’ll reply with a thorough response. They’re lawyers init?
@ahjs
BETTER one than Ronaldinho? If that dude had cared like he did in his prime for a longer time, he would be tearing everyone apart.
I bet you started watching football yesterday if you think Ronaldinho didn’t contribute that much and was the main man.
Of course it’s a team game, who said it isn’t?? But in a team game, there’s always that one player who can produce by himself and win games. For example Maradona for Napoli. He won basically by himself. Don’t take it too literally.
You being spoiled right now, Barca made Messi, we know that, duuu’h, but Messi is caring them. if a player scores 73 goals in a season and assists about 30, does that mean, he is not doing it? Look don’t be delusional my friend. Why David Villa doesn’t have those figures, Pedro or even Alexis Sanches who is a top player? why Barca doesn’t play for them?
Because Barca knows who is their best player and in who they should rely on, if they want to win anything. Bujakasha.
ANd mark my words, in 2014, Messi will tear the tournament apart.
peace.
Messi last year, Argentina + Barcelona.
73 games = 77 goals and 27 assists.
Same we could say about Ronaldo, carrying Madrid by himself like he did for Portugal in the Euros.
64 games = 67 goals and 16 assists.
Now tell me that is not carrying the team? I think I made my point, and this is not a case of saying stats doesn’t mean anything. In this case, yes it does my friend.
I hope the FA has the balls to throw the book at Mikel, Luiz & Ramires if proven they are lying. As well as the Chelsea player who wanted to break someone’s leg. Chelsea players have a history of lying to try and get people into trouble and I won’t be surprised if they did it again. Surprised the episode of Cole & Terry lying to get Poll into trouble wasn’t brought up during his case. Would have erroded any credibility they have, if they had any in the first place
We have seen spain used a so called 4-6-0 formation.
But this is new. Arsenal and Reading used a 0-5-5 formation in the league cup game last night.
How else one could explain the 7-5 result?
Or was it a tennis match or something…damn.
dred/Marq Cheers lads
Just catching up…..Not the first time Chelsea players have fabricated statements to ruin a refs career.
Terry was fined 10K for that charade. Common features Terry and Cole
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2225000/Mark-Clattenburg-shocked-angry-Chelsea-allegations–Graham-Poll.html
@marq and fletch – I can’t recall of this poll and terry incident at all – may be it wasn’t that big of the news at the time or I just missed it somehow.
Wow, the unholy trinity of terry, cole and lampard retracted their statement!!! It these were united players, everyone would be talking about it even now and boo them at away ground.
@United till I die
personally I couldn’t give a damn if they were The Society of Blue Arse Flie but surely you see the irony in a society that excludes white people from their society on the basis of their skin colour bringing the case against Clattenburg for rasicst abuse against a Chelsea player. Believe me, I’m not the only one to mention it but it is simply an observation not a judgement or a condemnation.
I didn’t need a big lecture, I get the picture. This is like Goat’s comments all over again – people take things as they read them and seem unable to see past the words and grasp the irony or humour intended.
Bobby CCO, The bare ar@sed facts of the matter is that the queens enhlish is NOT sufficient to impart facial expressions, especially when reduced to the length of a tweet, or a typical response on a blog.

Chavs fans still waxing lyrical about how the refs always favor us to everyone
f refs are bought by Manchester United & Barcelona. Then it means EPL, LaLiga are fixed and the results are planned. So why do Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Man City, Milan, etc fans watch a fixed league with so much passion? They should stop watching EPL if they think FA is Fergie Association. It only means either these fans don’t have a clue or their accusations aren’t true.
And why is there no evidence against Sir Alex and Vilanova/Guardiola if they really bribe the refs? Does that mean Sir Alex has also bought the media all over the world? The chief executive of Premierleague and FA were Rick Parry and Brian Barwick during Ferguson’s reign at Man Utd, both of them were Liverpool fans/employees. Then how can Fergie run the FA and still there is no proof?
Let’s clear the doubt some fans have in their minds. FIFA and FA are transparent organizations and will always be. Conspiracy theories are only an excuse.
You should go die, fuck off
Man utd has never and will never fixate a match.
On saturday arsenal scored a much clear offside goal, although the media is trying all their very best to cover it up, get a grip people such excuses are out dated. Why in hell is chelsea accusing the referee for racism, that’s another daft excuse go die

The Jewish society of lawyers was no doubt set up to try and marry two cultures. It was made not to seperate Jews from English natives rather to ease the passage of Jewish beliefs and their culture into British society. Im not defending Jewish society here but would like to clarify that the Jewish lawyers was to ease integration not to be a place only jewish lawyers can work. However I do see Judaism as a terrible scurge on society with their non inclusive laws – that being it is impossible for a non jewish male to become a jew, its a closed club and only women can be married in, something I find ugly, disrespectfull and racist.
The English society is just that and as the common denominator is the fact they are all gathered under English laws thats what makes them different to anyone else, unless you are telling me that only anglo saxon prodestant whites are allowed in the english society then this argument holds no water.
The Youth society is a society where you try and marry the old ruling classes with those not yet legal to vote but still feel they need a voice as 30 odd percent of all decisions made directly effect them.
The woman society is an unfortunate one and does nothing to attain equality rather just distance themselves from the mainstream. They argue that there arent any females in top possitions and that pay isnt the same and the counter argument is the volume of female business and law degree post grads arent as many so quite expectantly do not offer the same size pool in which to pick from. This is an organisation based on trying to fast track equality which only goes to equal the numbers by promoting lesser candidates. See the two main political parties who actively say NO MALE APPLICANTS NEED APPLY as they try and fill a quota based on sex rather than ability. And we wonder why were in a reccession.
The Black Lawyers society is an organisation that specialises in black cultural issues. Unfortunately I see no link in issues past to issues future. The only way equality comes about is if both sides hold no animosity and doesnt drag up the past at every oppertunity. Looking to the future rather than the past. See Palestine Israel issue. I can understand the hatred of this organisation as it is putting a nose up at English law and all they are trying to do by introducing a group who want to override the usual protest by forcing non issues for its own publicity. It is groups like this that put my back up. Im not racist, Im all inclusive WHERE the individual doesnt allign himself to a BELIEF that infringes on others. I have no problem in regards ethnicity, skin colour etc thats just plain stupid.
However it is organisations like this that mean I cannot walk into a coffee house if a black barist works there incase he asks me how I like my coffee. I have to pick some weird and some believe wonderful concoction that I dont like because Im scared to say “black”. The same as in Sweden I cant buy anything in the half dosen as six in swedish is sex funny enough the same word as sex. Woman and suspect types take that as sexual harrasment and I just dont want the hassle.
Thats why I live in the country. I buy most of my goods online and whatever food I need I go to an ordinary local shop for local people and dont get involved.
Mig – mcdermot will be absolutely pissed off. The thing with arsenal is, if you let them settle into rhythm and you let them knit passes together then they’ll carve you open, reading paid the price. When united play them, can’t afford to play open end to end football, need to be compact and solid through-out the team.

The English language has more than enough expression and emotion in it to get the point across my friend. It has served as the main form of communication for hundreds of years long before blogging and tweeting was invented. The problem is the reader is now no longer an animal of respect and literary skills rather a wikipedia researcher who has read at best one novel in his life and that was probably Adrian Mole aged 13 and three quarters. The problem is maybe not the writer rather the reader. Now in days past the measure of a gentleman was to make everyone in his surroundings feel comfortable, whether that be people from different classes and cultures or people near and far BUT in a day when holding a door open makes you a sexist pig I no longer care about peoples feelings or how my texts can upset the apple cart. I hold the premise, if you dont like what you read DONT READ IT. Surely the all inclusive get offended at everything brigade can see that by being dismissive of someone who has differing views text isnt being all inclusive like they preach like some southern state church going republican (not bar tender), isnt really practicing what they preach.
@ Goat “I cannot walk into a coffee house if a black barist works there incase he asks me how I like my coffee”
So you’re changing you’re behaviour so as not to upset the sensibilities of a black person which is essentially treating them differently because of their skin colour. Goat by not going into that coffee house you’re a rascist. I don’t know how to and don’t engage in the practice of including smileys but just in case smiley, smiley, haha. lol, wink, wink etc
Usually brush rumours aside but looks like all ones including nani.falls in the category of “there’s no smoke without fire”. I’ll be disappointed if he leaves, yet another top talent leaving before their prime. We know he’ll go and shine at another club. His signature for a new deal seemed inevitable, now it’s as slim as ever. Don’t see it happening.
There is a fine line between having the freedom of speech & maturity of listening, and that of irresponsible speech. Its like telling the person I’m going to curse you, if you don’t like it, don’t listen, but I’m going to curse you anyway, how you take it is your problem, I’m fine as long as I’m happy
Anyway, will be interesting to see what team fergie rolls out for the game and how the younger players will cope at the bridge. This as tough a challenge as they come for them. Their characters, and temprament will be called into question by a fantastic chelsea side who are superb regardless of who is in their team. United need another good start and to be on the on the front foot. Generally hope they pass this tough examination, would like the younger players to have more chance to shine.
@WeAreUnited
“BETTER one than Ronaldinho? If that dude had cared like he did in his prime for a longer time, he would be tearing everyone apart.
I bet you started watching football yesterday if you think Ronaldinho didn’t contribute that much and was the main man.”
Ifs and buts. Ronaldinho was the best around for a couple of years. I didn’t say he didn’t contribute that much, just that there have been better players and for longer. His legacy is minimal when compared to the likes of Zidane, Puskas, Cruyff, Garrincha and more.
“You being spoiled right now, Barca made Messi, we know that, duuu’h, but Messi is caring them. if a player scores 73 goals in a season and assists about 30, does that mean, he is not doing it? Because Messi is the central striker. I don’t doubt his importance, stats, or ability, but he doesn’t do it on his own.
“ANd mark my words, in 2014, Messi will tear the tournament apart.”
Out of his comfort zone, on the biggest stage, he has so far under-performed. We’ll see.
“Messi last year, Argentina + Barcelona.
73 games = 77 goals and 27 assists.
Same we could say about Ronaldo, carrying Madrid by himself like he did for Portugal in the Euros.
64 games = 67 goals and 16 assists.

Pele had similar stats, but no one says he carried Brazil. Gerd Muller holds the record for goals in a calendar year but no-one says he did it on his own, not with Beckebauer in the team. If a team is built to service its star players you have to give THE TEAM some credit when the individual flourishes to such an extent.
@samuel – Nani has been here for 5 years and if he goes I wouldn’t particularly miss him. I’m sure he’ll do well elsewhere like he has largely done at United but I’m also sure he´ll be as hot and cold as he’s been at United.
Goat, Well the current lot on this site might be gentlemen enough for you. But entry into these pages must be viewed as a revolving door of the local chippery rather than any higher estate. I try never to take offense and that is a good rule of thumb for most activities. But doubt many share my view.
Anyone who thinks that the typical blog response goes far enough not to create more questions than it answers hasn’t been on this sight long enough. The humorist Garrison Keeler has been quoted as saying he doesn’t understand twitter or any other form of written language that prevents proper expression. Don’t fully agree with old Garrison, but then you might say he has a point.
People seem to revel in tee’ing off on each other for reasons that will never be evident for me.
Cheers

Sobering thought my friend. In fact any racist that decides to change his outlook on coloured individuals by being more accepting is in fact changing his/her attitude towards that person BECAUSE of their skin colour that makes them racist. Theres no pleasing some people. Geees. wink wink nudge nudge, really smileys indeed, lol.
DDG
Valencia Evans Wootton Buttner
Nani Fletcher Scholes Welbeck
Hernandez Rooney
But I have a feeling Giggs will be in, taking Rooney’s place I suppose. And for RB, can’t really think of who is behind Rafael in the pecking order, I suppose its Jones if he is fit. Given what happened over the weekend, all eyes will be on this match, hope we can get through
Marq – Don’t see de gea starting this one, probably lindegaard or the “i’m not here to pick my nose” line will be rolled out. Again, giggs shouldn’t be starting this or united will be ovetwhelmed through the middle, he hasn’t got the tenacity to cope with an away tie, anderson will start. Fergie spoke about sticking to younger players, i hope he sticks to that as they’d benefit from a tough game like this, more so than giggs who should really be settling for a role as a sub really. Rooney won’t start either, got arsenal at home.

As for valencia at right back.. After playing just 3days ago and with arsenal coming up? I don’t see that happening, never seems right when he’s forced to play as a full back anyway. Marnick vermijl will start at right back, the experience would do him good.
I would be unhappy to see Nani leave. As far as Im concerned the talent is there its just a bit miss guided and lacking in composure. Qualities that better with age so selling him now would be foolish. Lets see it this way he can only get better.
My team for tonight.
Lindegaard
Rafael – Ferdinand – Evans – Buttner (Wootton to come on later to give Ferdinand a break)
Fletcher – Carrick – Scholes
Nani – Rooney – Young
Bobby – fair enough, all entitled to how we perceive a player. Still think he’s by some distance the most talented winger united have. Hot or cold, he turned up for the big games/he still can. Generally, he should be proud of his stay at united, it’s been full of highs and lows as most footballers go through in their careers (except messi who seems to play like a robot). I’m sure he’ll be laid a platform to succeed by the club that signs him. Maybe a younger player will be given a chance to succeed him, whether that be from the youth or bought, time will tell.
@Goat
Not directed at anyone, no worries mate, we have our opinions sorted already. Its just a reflection on the current sensitive state of affairs. Everything gets blown up if you speak without thinking.
On the lineup, I completely forgot about Anderson, haha, my bad. He should start. Vermijl didn’t play too well before, probably needs more game time. Good thing Cole is reprtedly injured, probably will give him more room to work with
Good article regarding Van the Man.

@ahjs
I respect your opinion, cause you have made some good points about Ronaldinho for example and Messi yes.
It’s just that, it’s not an excuse about Messi that he is an central striker.
Look I get that, if there was Messi against 11 players. He could go past 5 players but never score. And the game is always 11vs11, I get that, but look, Messi does at his own when he gets the ball and goes past 4-5 players. That what I mean, no matter who is his team-mate.
For example, last final against us, he ripped us apart, yes barca is Barca, and they have currently the best players in the world and also are as a team no doubt the best.
And now also for Argentina, he has created so many goals, and opportunities and scored also so many goals. Anyway, In a kinda way we are both right
peace. and let’s concentrate for this evenings game, cause if we were in “real” life, we could continue very long, and that’ not a bad thing, there’s no better thing than talk football for me, and listen other peoples opinions.
UNITED!
Before I put my line-up, this is what SAF said, “Obviously, we’ll make changes for Wednesday,” he informed MUTV. “The squad that played against Newcastle will be in place again. I think I will make some changes there but not a lot as we don’t want to lose down there anyway. We want to continue in the Cup but there will still be some changes.”
And I guess, he meant when we played in the cup against them. The line-up was this:
DDG
Vermijl, M Keane, Wootton, Buttner;
Fletcher, Cleverley, Anderson;
Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez
If he makes changes, for me it will be this.
DDG
Rafael, Evans, Wootton, Buttner;
Fletcher, Scholes, Anderson;
Nani, Welbeck, Hernandez
@Bobby Charltons Combover – talk about Irony, if you can see humour in Goats post but not mine thats your FUCK UP not mine pal. And Goat, that long post was unnecessary (and unread) and changes nothing worth changing. As you were, haha.
I thought yesterdays posts were full of crap because it was a slow day. United are playing tonight so lets have more relevant comments on here yeah?
The team for Newcastle was strong, but will it be strong enough at the Bridge?
I think that depends on who Chelsea play. The fact that Mata & Oscar were withdrawn early over the weekend suggest there is a chance they might be involved. Sturridge is certain to start, so our defenders must be on their toes
I still fancy our attack, but if Scholes & Giggs start together, it could get ugly

Great if he’s willing to stick by the same team that featured against newcastle in league cup
It was a very strong line up, in the middle of the park specially, we were compact and ticking. Although we had problems defensively against the likes of cisse and on…
Thankfully this time we face an opponent that will likely not cause major threat via high balls and crosses as we all know chelsea attack through the middle this days, and there will be no hazard no mata who chesea play we’ll be able to keep them in cech.
Going by sir alex’s comment, I guess the changes he’s talking about is regarding our MF f, paul scholes may start and wayne to pose some threat in there young defense
And ando aswell will definitely start, would like to see the combo of tom & jerry they have never disappointed and are still unbeaten…
Without too much yada yada here’s my ideal line up:
————————-De gea
Rafael—-evans—-wootton——-buttner
———–fletcher—-anderson———
—tom clevz——wazzzzza———–danny
——————–chicharito
