  1. denton davey says:

He’s only in the team to sell shirts !

  2. Costas says:

Really impressed with the 2nd. Didn’t feel he had so much composure in him at that point.

He doesn’t score often, but his catalogue of goals this season, would make anyone jealous.

  3. Dave says:

Second goal was quality, looks like Parkys finally getting his from back

  4. Costas says:

This calendar year I meant. Not this season.

  5. Joseph says:

Thanks park. He is a cam. I don’t why fergie keep useing him as a winger. I have said this time without number that we need a playmaker a game changer. In a process whereby nani and valencia are injured just like today. We are lost in the wing. Because park is nonesense at the wing and bebe is not ready. That is why i still say that we need sanchez. Beside he can play at they LW, RW AND BEHIND THEY MIAN STRIKER. Bring on alexis sanchez pls fergie.

  6. Toby says:

It was great to see my first last minute winner at Old Trafford. Went crazy with my little brother. Best feeling ever!

Now next week I’ll be sat with Villa fans in the home stand, on my own :’(

  7. Corea says:

Really pleased he decided to do it on his own instead of these endless crosses. It paid off and thank god it did.

  8. walk in the park says:

i think he fool everybody in the stadium with his mazy run for the 2nd goal..he should cross the ball!!..damn u parky…LOL

  9. TheRadLegion says:

    @Joseph:
what the heck are you talking about? Park was nonsense as a winger? Listen, he’s not a winger but he’s not a nonsense either. You put him there, he’ll do his job. Not great but not nonsense either.

  10. walk in the park says:

    @TheRadLegion

    joseph is Alexis sanchez agent…LOL

  11. Marq says:

The 2nd goal is stuff that a certain Ronaldo does on a very regular basis when he was with us

  12. United4eva says:

I’m so happy to see Park playing this way for us. There have been one or two games when Ji was really good for Man Utd but never the same player he is for South Korean where he gets on the ball lots and takes the game to defenders on the run. At long last however Ji’s showing the form that got him the move from PSV and ain’t it a blessing he has! With no Nani, Valencia, Anderson, Carrick and Scholes til the last quarter of the match not to mention the absence of Berba and the fact that most of our players were either chucking up or had the runs we needed someone to stand up and be counted today and thats what Ji did.

Amazing isnt it? This season everytime someone’s form has dipped someone else’s has improved to compensate. When Rooney went off the boil Berba stepped in, when Berba’s form dipped Nani starting turning it on, Nani had a few quiet games but Chicho then manned up, Chicho not had much of a sniff past two weekends no big Ji does the business. The resilience of our squad is superb. Nobody is hiding. Nobody is making excuses e.g. We dont have X,Y and Z. And when we need a little something extra we see individuals like Ji did today taking it on themselves to make it happen.

Thats Man Utd. My God I am fortunate to love this team!

  13. Anon Payn says:

Park is in my book one of the best midfielders in the world. He can dribble, tackle, defends, and never stops running. Add in his versatility of being able to play anywhere across the midfield, not to mention filling in as a full back from time to time, and we have one of the best players at OT atm. I think one of the reasons he has been playing well the past few games, especially since the CC game against Wolves is the fact that he is playing on a regular basis. With almost all our wingers out for the past month, he has been playing almost week in week out and that’s done him a world of good, in terms of confidence and fluency of his game.
Hope Fergie can keep giving him game time in some form or the other. Won’t be surprised to see him play in the middle against Shitty in a 4-3-3. Him, Carrick and Scholes behind Berba, Chicharito and Obertan should be interesting.

  14. FletchTHEMAN says:

    PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK?

Right lads, We seriously need a better song for this man. That was the type of player who will keep us in games!

  15. xol says:

Park didn’t surprise me today. I was saying I’d rather have him than Ozil during the world cup bollox.

  16. xol says:

What a 5 minutes from Hargreaves though. That was something else. It’s up there with ‘that header’.

  17. willierednut says:

I think the Park songs ok man.

  18. shmoo says:

rofl at big mick at the end of the vid of parks second goal, im no lip reader, but im sure he says ” wanker”.. haha sleep well tonight micky boy..

  19. FletchTHEMAN says:

Xol, What exactly do you mean? Tread careful! The lad is injured !)
Thought he did very well. The knee is fine, should have come on for a have in some reserve games for me. Really bad management.

Loved the views of the managers.
    Mick, “Oh sh**************************”
SAF, “You say we are only payin’ him that much??”

  20. chicharito14 says:

look at what wenger is being alleged to have done.his been busy doing a rooney/terry with a 39 year old rapper. goal.com/en/news/9/england/2010/11/06/2201698/arsenal-request-privacy-after-allegations-into-manager

  22. SqueakyRed says:

Big Micks reaction to the second goal is brilliant. The 4th official shits himself !!

  23. FletchTHEMAN says:

Anyone who has slagged Park doesn’t realize that he does this all the time for Korea. He is their Captain and plays as an attacking midfielder. Fergie can’t use him as such, so we never get to see it at OT. Park knows what to do in front of goal. No need to look up. He knows were everyone is. Good on ya Parky!
Let’s have some more of that!

Paaaark Paaaark wherever you may be,
Run at the goal and score a goal for me.
He scored against Milan, he scored against ‘pool,
he’ll score against you and send you back to school

  24. FletchTHEMAN says:

@Chicarito14, Thanks for the link. Guess our manager won’t be getting similar headlines, eh?! Still,
    she seems to like footballers!

  25. 20moscow08 says:

Went to the game today sat in the north stand shit atmosphere as usual. The stretty were singing a new song anybody know the lyrics? Couldn’t quite hear it from where I was sat

  26. MG says:

It is being reported that shirt sales in South Korea have rocketed since the nations captain single handedly made Sir Alex’s 24th anniversary a memorable one in extra time to befit his reign.

In other news Mick McCarthy has been sent to anger management classes after his OTT reaction when Park scored in the 93rd minute.

    ;)

  27. willierednut says:

FletchTHEMAN – I can’t see that new song catching on mate.

  28. FletchTHEMAN says:

@Willie, yeah mate, back to school for me then.

Hope the lads get past this virus. The pace was a bit off. Probably lucky for Park, but I give him full credit for pulling this one out of the hat.

  29. portugueseprincess says:

Mick McCarthy’s face when Park scored the 2nd goal was priceless hahahahaha

  30. willierednut says:

Fuck me. I know we don’t like Stoke, but they were robbed today.

  31. Costas says:

One step closer to fucking off back in the Coca Cola League. And hopefully they will take Wigan with them.

  32. fergie is the boss says:

if man city won like united done today, everyone would say shitty are showing those title winning qualitys. United do it we are getting worse

  33. fergie is the boss says:

yes finally back on ROM. for some mysterious reason my comments were not coming through before

  34. xol says:

    Fletch
lol I just mean for 5 or 6 minutes there, everything seemed great. I think we were contemplating the possibilities for the game ahead – Hargo free kick, his pace, Hargo and Fletch nullifying their midfield, all the possibilities, then all of a sudden it’s all snatched away and the threadbare squad situation rears it’s head. No offence to Bebe at all, but suddenly the line up looks very different in terms of age and experience down the right. Lots of instructions for the lad in a short space of time.

Parky definitely rescued the situation and thumbs up to him.

  35. bobkoh says:

Park Ji Sung! Give him a new contract…90,000pds no less! Kamsa Hamidah!

  36. aiaiyaya says:

i love it when he smacks his chest where the crest is after the second goal. brilliant… pathetic that people didn’t stay till the end to see it.. you’ve got to believe…

  37. RedScot says:

Jaysus its Sunday, church for me later, nick the collection box and save for get the “Glazer” out of United fund.I aint laughing either, which is unusual for me on this blog. I hate the bastards and what they have done to “our” club.
Great goals from three lungs, and we saw this performance in the world cup in South Africa.
He often plays a cameo as i said .
Anyways bigger fish to fry, thinking of our best result today, is it the Chelsay or the no hopers, cant wait to watch this.
First time in my life I want to see a Starfish score. Thats not fear. United should fear no one!
To win the champions league competition we should be carefull, get the Glazer out.
who do you shout for Chelsea or Liverpool?
Cant wait, its fulcrum in our season, innit! lol
    A draw for me, everyday!.

  38. xol says:

    Costas,
About that Oshea tackle on Fletch – here’s Best tackles Marsh – Marsh tackles Best (1:45 ish). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz2l-xUQmc0

  39. xol says:

    Redscot
10-0 to redress the goal difference in readiness for overtaking the chavs next meet. Would it be unsporting to wish injury on said starfish?

  40. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

Okay I’m clueless. Is The Berb injured, has a virus or being rested?

  41. TheRadLegion says:

The ABU media has been calling us lucky. It annoys me a lot. Seriously how many chances did they create? If we played the whole 90 mins the way we played on the first half then perhaps a draw was in order, the thing is we played well on the second half especially after we conceded the goal.

These idiots forgot, we were plagued with injuries and could only play with a limited options and yet we won. Chelsea and Arsenal’s record against Wolves are not that great either.

    What an idiot

  42. geneside says:

chelsea played their usual 11 with all the forward power they had.they they dont want to loose a game…but we are not so lucky……

  43. SuperFletch says:

Not the best of perfomances but its hard to complain with half the 1st 11 not playin! the inbred cunts had the standard 9 at the back all game and took what they could get. Complete bombardment when scholesy came one, he lifts the whole team. Rekon we missed carricks calmness today, its unreal how many games we win when he’s playin! ill end this with four words… best guy in asia.

  44. Costas says:

    @KingOfStretfordEnd

According to reports, he and Carrick got the virus too.

    @xol

Thanks mate. Lol, that was funny. At least they didn’t exchange blows like Dyer and Bowyer did one time!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFLeTm46CqQ

  45. Costas says:

Having watched the extended highlights, I have to say that O’Shea robbing Fletcher was funny. One of the best interceptions he made yesterday, lol. Fletch did take forever to get back up though.

Something else. I don’t remember Blake from his United days. Was he always this, ahem, fat?

  46. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

    Of topic But Very Important

If you dont have facebook page ,Get One

The Queen Of England is getting an offical facebook page tomorrow

All United Fans need to blitz Her page to get Ryan Giggs Knighted

  47. Jeet says:

Morning, lads. Late to the party after having to go in for emergency heart treatment y’day, but survived thanks to a certain Mr. Park.
Saw a lot of comments and Scott’s 10 observations from the match and have to say that I disagree with a lot of them.
    1. Keeping in mind the vintage of the playing XI, I thought they did OK, particularly in the second half. I mean Obertan and Bebe have what, 5 EPL starts b/w them?
    2. Didn’t see Chicharito dive y’day, no sir, not at all. And he didnt seem to be struggling, I thought he showed brilliant maturity to drop deep and try and link up with Obby and Park.
    3. Bebe’s crossing was horrendous, but he has the raw material. One for the future.
    4. O’Shea was Ok – not as bad as some games this season, but you need to know what to expect from him. What pisses me off about O’Shea is not his average performance, but when he is selected ahead of Rafael or Brown.

So, all in all, I’ll take the positives. 3 pts. with a Carling Cup XI and listen, when did you see VDS being tested? And if we had like 55% possession, we couldnt be that shite, could we? I am not denying that we need to strenghten the sqaud in the MF, but Christ, get real….you cant have a second XI with the likes of Ozil, Kaka, Messi and Ronaldo…
PS: What actually pisses me off is the fact that its always us with the mass injuries…last year it was the defence, this year its the MF…is it the fitness team, or the weather?

  48. Jeet says:

And yes, the commentary from Steve McManaman drove me fucking nuts yesterday…the cunt was laughing when Hargo came off, and calling it “a farce”. And the other bastards tore into Bebe making condescending remarks about his background…how uncalled for is that? I mean, isnt that what’s great about any sport – that it doesnt matter where you come from? Completely classless, but as for SteveMc, what can you say about a creature that played for both Pool and City?!!

  49. Costas says:

    Tevez could leave England.
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
Unless he is offered 250k a week it seems..

  50. CedarsDevil says:

    @ Costas

Less we talk about Blake the better my friend. Saw an interview for him where he claimed to be a pool fan, his dream is to play along side torres and his most memorable match was the pool winning at OT last season……..

  51. CedarsDevil says:

    Correction, I meant the 4 – 1 game 2 seasons ago

  52. Costas says:

    @Cedars

What? What’s with the bitterness? Because he wasn’t good enough to play for United?

He still has a fat ass though, lol.

  53. CedarsDevil says:

    @ Costas

    LOL re his fat ass!

Fairly common for those who fail at United to become so bitter and claim their so called ‘love’ for our rivals….. BTW, loved that link on tevez, saying he has forgotten Ferguson!!! Its Sir Alex you money grabbing whore

  54. RedevilzAdvocate says:

    off topic but
    Happy Birthday Rio!

  55. Dr.Hannibal says:

Go home argie cunt its better for every one don’t give silly excuses u r a profesional ,where was his feelings before going to bitters it means his switch to bitters was for pure greed, and unprofesional, now u have earned ur money stop talking about sir alex n united n fuck off from england you bitter blue nose cunt..

  56. DAVE RED says:

Went the game yesterday – Theres one thing you can always say about Utd, we
never give up, we play to the very end – how many times have we seen late goals
over the years – its a credit to the manager and coaching staff, even if we are not playing well
we never go ‘route one’, we keep playing the Utd way.

  57. Collyhurst Red says:

    BBC Sport website…..

“United’s medical staff gave Ferguson’s £18m signing the all-clear for selection on Saturday”

As it turned out, one of our (wonderful?) medical staff would have probably lasted longer than Hargo!

We’ll probably need a Phsyciatrist for him now.

  58. Zelh says:

Maybe his warming up was sloppy.
who knows, but as long as his knee is okay, I’m hoping.

  59. S froze says:

I think we all should eat dogs for 1 day to pay tribute to him. Then drink frog juice

  60. parryheid says:

Commentator.Fabregas moving up through the gears 2nd,third,into top now.Hah.

Think he needs a new clutch plate 1nil Newcastle.

  61. FletchTHEMAN says:

Newcastle is 1-0 up on the Arse. This is starting out well for us!
How many think looserfools will hand the game to the chavs just so as not to help us.

  62. asite says:

great winning goal from park… it saved us.
i hope chelski dont have that chance today

  63. Whiteside Curler says:

Fletchtheman: Stevie Starfish has a bit of a dilemma – should he provide Drogba with another lovely assist or if they get on a good run they might even qualify for Europe and he does love those glorious Thursday nights.
Damn I feel silly now for calling him starfish after the little pea’s dive yesterday. )-:

  64. parryheid says:

How is this possible a team we beat at home 2 0 can go to the Emirates and take the points from Arsenal? The team with the best squad in the league,Oh and the best youngsters I’m dumbfounded.Unless United are better than they are being credited with.Nah were shite all our top journo’s keep telling us so they must know what theyr’e talking about.Dont they

  65. Zelh says:

    arsenal lost against Newcastle.
    great for us.

  66. portugueseprincess says:

    One down, two to go!

  67. rat1p says:

cmon west bromwich , and im gutted for saying this cmon liverpool

  68. united.george says:

newcastle completely took arsenal out of the game in the second half. strong defense and their keeper had some great saves. can you believe that newcastle is 5th in the table?

there are no more easy teams in the EPL anymore. well, maybe wigan.

  69. RedScot says:

@ XOL, Cheers mate you might be right regards the starfish, and getting one of his four limbs broken! lol
Arsenal suffer a european hangover fantastic, now clear daylight between us and the Arsing whinger.
I see that stat Arsenals sending off since Whinger took over 81 red cards. And he has the ignorance to critize Paul.
Its you that has a darkside Arsing.
Pray with all your might a draw at Analfield.
For what i am about to receive, lol

  70. Corea says:

Actually Newcastle are 5th. Great game for them.
    Cmon WestBrom!

  71. Zelh says:

    WBA already 2 goals behind.
    I think it’s over yet.

  72. portugueseprincess says:

Well strange things have happened before…hopefully West Brom will manage at least a draw.

  73. Costas says:

It was 3-0 for us against Newcastle.

    Lol at Arsenal.

  74. bchilds says:

Fantastic result for Newcastle, didn’t think that would happen! Come on WBA and Loserfool.

  75. Ash says:

Question of the day-For whom will gerrard play for today?Chelski or liverfools.Cmonn guys what do you think?

  76. united.george says:

looks like drogba is on the bench and essien is out. So now the starfish will need to find someone else to pass the ball to, maybe anelka?

  77. Corea says:

@Costas – it’s strange buddy. that was first game of the season and the way we played made me so confident. then came these draws…

  78. Corea says:

    Jirkov Mikel Ramires
    a hell of a midfield ))

  79. Ash says:

Guys nani out of the derby game because of injury.Big blow for us.Hope berba steps up again like he did against the scousers.
    http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnews/sport/football/manchester_united/s/1370567_nani_set_to_miss_derby

  80. Corea says:

@Ash – it is yesterday’s article mate. Hargreaves also wasn’t supposed to ever play until yeasterday. let’s wait and see.

  81. bchilds says:

    What’s the more unlikely senario:

    1) West Brom coming back from 2-0 down at Old Trafford against United
    2) West Brom coming back from 2-0 down at home to Citeh

    Exactly!

  82. Kings says:

I wonder who’s pay-role Stevie Me is on today.

  83. Ash says:

    @costas
No mate its todays article.Anyways hoping he plays. He has become very important to our team.

  84. Costas says:

    @Corea

Yeah I know. It was an easier game for us and maybe Newcastle were too naive. Lets not forget that they also won at Chelsea in the league cup…

  85. bchilds says:

Hopefully it’s the traditional Fergie bullshit prior to a big game! Fingers crossed anyway.

  86. Costas says:

    @Kings

I also wonder about that. I also wonder if there are “Neville or Chelsea” banners out there or if their fans will care to get behind their team this time…

    @bchilds

Number 2 is more unlikely actually. Teams don’t give a fuck when they play against City.

  87. Corea says:

    Torres back on form ))

  88. RedScot says:

Torres just scores, brilliant, half way there! yipppeeeeeeee

  89. ryan7 says:

Here goes my pride… thank you Torres!

  90. Corea says:

@Ash – it is just a re-type of what Fergie said yesterday.

Always said. Torres when needed will never go to the ground. Great player but .. lol

  91. RedScot says:

@Ryan we can still call him all the fuckwits later. lol

  92. portugueseprincess says:

    Gracias, El Nino! :)

  93. ryan7 says:

    @redscot of course lol

  94. ryan7 says:

Stevie me just had a flop

  95. ryan7 says:

Balotelli RED CARD!!!! wooo hooo!!!! wont be seeing you on wednesday!!

  96. RedScot says:

Did I just hear Andy Gray say the starfish is the best midfielder in the country.
Jaysus time to put fresh batteries in my earing aid.
Maybe he has not heard of Paul Scholes.
Scottish pillock, and there are a few around, dont you know.

  97. portugueseprincess says:

That’s Balotelli’s main problem…he can go from hero to zero in a short amount of time.

  98. RedScot says:

Is that right Ryan, yes more good news, the bad bad boy strikes again.
    It is good news.

  99. Costas says:

Balotelli just realised which club he is playing for. It would send anyone over the edge.

  100. portugueseprincess says:

    @Costas, hahahahahahhaha

  101. parryheid says:

If Cech took of his Biggles hat would his head be covered with purple dots?Reason I ask is people used to have Impitigo and treatment was Gensen Violet on the infection hence the hat.

  102. hammons says:

torres’ goal still does not make up for the assist gerrard had last season.
here is to hoping a bomb goes off at anfield. kidding, of course.

  103. ryan7 says:

Gareth Barry & Nigel DeJong both have yellows. It would be nice to get one of them sent off as well. My preference would be DeJong on the basis that we can’t afford any more injuries.

  104. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

Liverpool winning newcastle beating arsenal Balotell who’s tevez replacment missing wednesday

With 92 minutes gone in Uniteds games yesterday , Hands up who taught this could well be an amazing weekend for United

  105. Costas says:

This is a must win game for Chelsea imo. In order to win the title, you have to do well against the bottom clubs..

    @portugueseprincess

Yeah I’ll miss him on Wednesday, but that just means a certain old friend will start the game…

  106. Costas says:

    @hammons

No it doesn’t mate. They disgraced themselves for good on that day.

  107. portugueseprincess says:

    @Costas, I think he will play…

  108. RedScot says:

@Hammons you are not kidding regards the bomb.
Say what you mean, no punches barred.
Jaysus Chelsrent dont have miss Essien, I think he adds so much more guts for them in midfield.

  109. bigphil2003 says:

I know they’re doing us a favour at the minute but I just can’t bring myself to be pleased that Liverpool are winning. Poor old ladyboy getting clattered haha

  110. RedScot says:

Andy Gray clearly does not know the only time the Star fish is gonna shoot with a free kick is when he “pulls his socks up” so I was told.
Just hold out till halftime, get your 1/2 orange and nice rub down bye some liverpool brass.

  111. RedScot says:

Nando again. wow, its gonna be a good weekend for us Lads.

  112. Kings says:

Get in there you dirty tranny!

  113. RedScot says:

that dirty tranny as you so eloquentally describe him as just given a glimmer of hope.Joking.

  114. sprite says:

I feel so dirty, I smiled when Lady boy scored..

  115. Moscow is my heaven says:

That’s why he’s my favourite striker in the world. Say what you like about him, you can flame me to death for it, but he really is the best. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

  116. portugueseprincess says:

Torresssss! God, I need to brush my teeth and take a shower after this game. :)

  117. Corea says:

Masterclass from Chelsea’s midfield reserves. Torres second pure class..

  118. Xyth says:

Well well well. Cannot believing dippers doing their job for once. I hope Stevie Me does not do anything silly to hand a lifeline to the rent boys!

What a weekend it turns out to bee.

  119. Collyhurst Red says:

    @Sprite

I do as well, I muttered “Yes” under my breath!

  120. rat1p says:

you cant deny torress talent ,dear boy what a goal

  121. Corea says:

@Moscow is my heaven – just imagine howmuch he would’ve scored every season if he played in another club and hadn’t been injured so much. Terrific finisher but we have our mexican guy!

  122. orez says:

It’s turning out to be a great day for us. What a second by Torres. Also pool’s is dominating rent boyz. I just hope it gives confidence to other teams when they play rent boyz

  123. Passe says:

So was this so hard to do last year?

  124. RedScot says:

@The portugueseprincess, lol need anybody to scrub your back or massage your feet!

  125. Costas says:

Liverpool are 6 months too late, but I’ll take it. Plus, it makes Wednesday’s game less crucial. We have so many absentees for it, that I fancy a draw.

  126. portugueseprincess says:

    @RedScot, lololololololol :) . I could do with a foot massage actually. :)

  127. RedScot says:

This is a big weekend and in a way, adresses some of the shit from last season and what the Starfish did with that pass back to Dogbreath.
Dogbreath away to come on, hmmm desperate measures.

  128. Corea says:

    @Costas –
” that I fancy a draw” lol Costas.
pretty ambitious ;) a draw away to the mighty City ? of course it is a great result)))
After PArk’s heroics yesterday i would have fancied a draw regardless Chelsea’s result today..

  129. hammons says:

Even if I was kidding, which I wasn’t, there is a little bit of truth in every joke.

I, for one, am happy that Fergie decided against Balotelli. For all the skill he has, he kills it with his attitude. Fergie would have gone to jail for murder if he signed him. Fits in perfectly at City, though.

  130. irwinisalegend says:

Can we swap Rooney for Torres!! Never thought I’d say that!! Who do I despise the least??

  131. Corea says:

Interestingly pundits from tabloids at skysports said today that Arsenal will beat United to second place and Chelsea are too strong for scousers. They will never learn.

  132. hammons says:

I think that if Nani is fit, and we play with Scholesy, Carrick and Fletch then we will get more than a draw against City.

  133. willierednut says:

Half A Boy, half a girl, but on his day, unplayable. How big does Parks goal look now?

  134. united.george says:

we just need city to sign cassano next and the attitude will be complete!

  135. RedScot says:

@Corea well we all believe it dont we, most of these people only get out after dark.
    Freaks and Ghouls, papparazzi

  136. hammons says:

@costas: consider the source – unreliable as it is.

speaking of arsenal: carroll for newcaslte played quite well today. I think it is quite comical that Barton said he was not mimicking Hitler with his salute during the aston villa game. Besides acting just like him, he now looks just like him as well.

  137. hammons says:

    sorry meant @corea** not @costas!

  138. Corea says:

City game is obviously a big big game but how much i would love to beat the shit out of chelsea home and more importantly away..
Drogba on. Poor Anci believes they will get smth out of it.

  139. Corea says:

I consider changing my nickname to Coreas ))))) lol

  140. RedevilzAdvocate says:

    * Singing, ‘He’s half a boy, he’s half a girl, Torres, Torres…’

  141. RedScot says:

    He is a Borl.

  142. hammons says:

Two goals or not. He is still a cunt.

Oh, what I would do to knock that fuckin’ grin off John Henry’s face. I was a Red Sox fan – and left because of the mentality he instill bringing “RSN” (red sox nation), and he is going to try to do the same and turn Liverpool into the nation’s team.

  143. bigphil2003 says:

Good point hammons. Rooney has been a cunt to us and his wife, but I’d still rather have him than that ladyboy twat.

  144. willierednut says:

I wouldn’t mind knocking the smile off John Henrys wifes face. Liverpoo sitting back too much this half.

  145. Costas says:

    @Corea

Yeah, it’s the absences that concern me. Plus, you know that their team will look at it like their cup final. Call me a pessimist, but a draw and I’ll be ok. As long as we win at Villa Park though…

What’s up with everyone confusing us today, lol?

  146. RedScot says:

@Hammons seemingly he has said over here, that he is going to be exceptionally frugal with player investment.
You can see this lot returning to their old policy of bring through the youth.
They do have one or two good young players.
I know what you mean about his smug gub, to mr he looks like a weasel.
His bird looks a bit like something you find in a house of horrors, Cruella Deevile

  147. Fze123 says:

Fucking hell.. what a weekend this is turning out to be! We win in injury time, Arsenal lose, Chelsea are currently losing to Liverpool.. I hope they fucking hold on for another 30 minutes!

  148. RedScot says:

@Willie you have got history on this matter, we know you dont look at the mantle piece when poking the fire.
I always think it depends were you have the poker! lol

  149. willierednut says:

RedScot – lmao. You know me too well.

  150. Costas says:

To be fair to Roy, he has started turning things around lately.

I hear that Terry was being a cunt again?

  151. portugueseprincess says:

@ Costas, when is Terry NOT a cunt?

  152. Costas says:

Plus, of LIverpool start climbing up the table, it will make the battle for 4th a bit more unpredictable. Looking at the table, you have City with 20 points and Newcastle 5th with 17. I doubt Newcastle or Bolton will push City hard for that spot.

  153. RedScot says:

@Costas yes he is turning it around, for me he looks like he has aged 10 years in a few months.
He is slurring his words more than me after a few stiff whiskys.
Hardly surprising he is looking older though, with that crew to rearrange, ohhhhh The good old ship, lollipop.
Its hardly the bastion of inpenetrable.
    Lucky to get tenth spot.

  154. Costas says:

    @portugueseprincess

Good point. Just read that he pushed Kuyt or something like that. Hate him!

  155. willierednut says:

Martin Taylor, you cheeky cunt. United scored in the 93rd minute, not the 117th minute.

  156. hammons says:

    @portugueseprincess – lol.

@COSTAS ;) … a lucky win at Bolton at the death. Against Napoli they were second best for 60 mins … This would be a quality win, though.

  157. Costas says:

    @RedScot

He hasn’t aged 10 years. It’s just that Livepool can’t afford to pay for his hair coloring. ;)

I see that he hasn’t made any substitutions. He is saving them for injury time. Fulham mentality at its finest. :D

  158. RedScot says:

Another classic game tonight to droll over Real Madrid v Althletico Madrid, look and see what we could have had Ozil ! lol. and if some get their way, what me might get Maureen. lol Yikes perish the thought.

  159. Costas says:

    @hammons

Yes, but they are starting to win, lol. Today will be a major confidence boost too. Couldn’t believe they won at Bolton. Made me more upset that we didn’t.

  160. willierednut says:

    It’s the dippers day.

  161. RedScot says:

@Costas lol hair colouring good one.We call it dye over here, thats the technical term mate! lol
Yes spot on I sorta predicted this lot to get a stack of draws this season as you say.Although with Sparky at Fulwho.

  162. Costas says:

    @RedScot

Lol, I found the term on wikipedia. I didn’t know if dye is a noun so I didn’t say hair dye. :)

  163. RedScot says:

Well the weekend has turned out just tickety booo, as they say in certain circles.
    Purfect.
    All is not lost.
I predicted a draw, christ I will have to go and polish my balls. Crystal balls………Thanks.
They are not up to scratch.
    Addios amigos.

  164. MG says:

    What a weekend

Thanks Park for making it better

Ji Sung Park – a hero

Oh and an honourable mention has to go to Newcastle

    Oh not forgetting Liverpool.

    What? Liverpool?

    Bloody hell – football eh?

    ;)

  165. Zelh says:

    What a weekend for us!

  166. smartalex says:

    Fantastic weekend!
    2 points in it.

  167. Costas says:

Thanks Liverpool. Your disgrace last May still not forgotten though…

It would be massive(no pan) if we win the next two.

  168. TheRadLegion says:

You know for once I feel bad for Chelsea. I wanted them to win or perhaps a draw would be nice too. Chelsea could slip at any time, but I really want to see the poo sitting comfortably at the bottom tree.

  169. portugueseprincess says:

Thanks for that Loserfools. I am off to wash myself now. :)

  170. portugueseprincess says:

    @TheRadLegion. you are joking,right?

  171. Xyth says:

Although this was a match you wished both teams could lose, thanks dippers!!!!

Those three matches that we threw from winning position hurt even more now. We should have had at least a 4 point lead. Nevertheless let’s kill the bitters now and Shrek or no Shrek we should get the lead by Christmas.

  172. theboogeyman says:

2 points in it. That’s all. Come on United!

  173. sprite says:

thank you Park, thank you Torres, thank you Fabianski.. my weekend is now a good one.

  174. united.george says:

rooney saga, hargo saga, injuries, the virus but we are still unbeaten and 2 points from the top!!

  175. Corea says:

    hahahaaaaa
can’t sop laughing. now pundits say it is too early to predict the champion hahahahaaaa

  176. MG says:

10 things I noticed this weekend

    1. Arsenal played fancy football – lost to a thunder goal

    But Arsenal play brilliant football

    2. Chelsea lost and got there asses kicked

    But Chelsea are fucking brilliant

    3. United won like they win best – at the death – a hallmark of SAF’s reign at OT

    But we are fucking shit

    4. Our players are not supposedly fit to wear the shirt – yet they have won more and achieved more than all other teams combined – says something doesn’t it when you stop believing in your own team?

Makes mockery of those even our own that question the gaffer.

    5. The league is not won in November subsequently August September October etc.

    6. All those fuckers calling United shit – our history speaks for itself

    7. So what if the kids didn’t spark yesterday – at least they have one more match under there belt – I suppose when Scholes Giggs and Neville went through the same thing we should have fucked them off too – trust me there were enough shocking results at that time.

    8. At OT is was a disgrace when fans left before the end – some of can’t even get in.

    9. Mick McCarthy is a fucking twat – period

    10. I look forward to Wednesday. Next:

  177. hammons says:

@TheRadLegion: what the fuck are you smoking? If you honestly feel that then I will question your allegiance and your mental state.

  178. Corea says:

You know, the most important thing for us is that we have the best possible defencive 4.
Brown Vida Rio Evra. It will help us close up in defence. I think Fergie will play deep and try to catch City on the break. I just hope and hope and hope Scholesy will be able to play 80-90 minutes. We need him.

  179. fanda78@gmail.com says:

Thank fuck the dipper cunts kept the Renties from gaining points.
Now for UNITED to go top of the League!!!
    BELIEVE!!!

  180. Corea says:

    @MG – lol great post.

“8. At OT is was a disgrace when fans left before the end – some of can’t even get in.”

that’s a disgrace. not the first time and not the last i suppose. i guess times have changed.

  181. Costas says:

    @MG

I watched MOD and not once did they mention that United were without most of our attacking talent. Seriously, they can’t be that naive and believe that Obertan, Bebe and even Chicha are our first choices in wing and attack?

Don’t get me wrong on Hernandez. He is done fantastic, but at the start of the season Berba and Mr Ambition were considered out first choice strikeforce.

  182. United4eva says:

Good to see Chelski lose. The press have been acting as though they already have their name on the Premier League trophy and seeing them beaten again I hope will put things into perspective and give sides more confidence to actually have a go at Chelsea instead of rolling over the second they put pressure on.

  183. Fze123 says:

@TheRadLegion, what? Chelsea are title challengers, Liverpool aren’t. Do I need to say more?

  184. YorYor says:

Surprising that no one has mentioned the points dropped at Everton and whoever else it was, and that we’d be top otherwise, there looks like there are plenty who likes to cry over spilt milk. Whether it be points or players.

  185. DEVILisRED says:

love ur 10 oberservation MG! tickle me funny bones.
can’t stand my dipper pal going on abt the win on FB…..one thing never change. still fucking deluded these bunch.

  186. Vishal S says:

    What a wonderful weekend!:)
Let d ABU media go on about the shit they speak… Who gives a damn abt them.. Had United Been leading the table now.. “Titles Aren’t Won In November”.. But Chelsea i heard won it by beating the mighty wigan, wba n blackpool in august!!.. Ramires was shit today( so ws d whole chelsea team) but Bebe would be slaughtered for puttin seven crosses not perfectly on d plate to score!.. Anelka hardly had a sniff at goal today but yet all d news would be is how d little pea n obertan didn’t tear apart the wolves defence.. Roll on to wednesday night:)..

  187. redrider says:

Steven Gerrard a cheat : Chelsea
Midfielder did not help us says opposing captain John Terry.”We always got on well, whether at Bridge or at Anfield, but tonight was a different matter whatsoever. He said he’ll help us out like last season and a few seasons before, but instead what we saw was a shameless act of selfishness by him and his team mates to defeat us. Appalled as the game progressed, we tried to bribe the ref but he said no…”
    More to follow…

  188. RedGem says:

Can you hear the (chelsea) groans, Fernando… (apologies to ABBA)

  189. Corea says:

Wenger: “We didn’t deserve to lose. They had one shot on target”

Nothing spectacular mister Wenger. That’s 2 games lost at home against the newly promoted sides. Yes, you didn’t deserve to lose.

  190. RedGem says:

My favorite comment this weekend from BBC:

“One of the oldest stories in football. Manchester United stoppage time winner.”

    Sweet. :)

  191. Costas says:

    @Corea

if they make it count, they deserve to win. Wenger easily forgets the 2005 FA cup final…

    @redrider

    LOL.

  192. MG says:

    Corea

You are right mate times have changed – sad. There a lot of many reds all over that would love to go to OT and stay there right till the death.

Costas – you are right my friend – as of now Chelsea have still won the league Arsenal still play sexy football

And United – who the fuck are Manchester United

They hate us – we love it – their hate makes us stronger – bring it on…

    DEVILisRED

    Cheers mate!

  193. MG says:

    RedGem

I said that before the BBC did and no one picked up on it :(

    ;)

  194. Corea says:

@Costas – the best mentality from Wenger. Speaks volumes about how big Arsenal club is for Wenger.

  195. RedGem says:

Sorry, MG, but I didn’t read the comments here before posting… :)

my apologies for the oversight if you had already mentioned it.

  196. MG says:

    RedGem

Ah no need to apologise :)

  197. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@MG, I can understand if fans leave when we are steamrolling opponents, then I can agree that they are only leaving to beat the early traffic in what is an easy win for United. But when fans leave in matches like yesterday or the game against West Brom (like happened in both those games where idiotic fans do that), I feel pretty pissed.

Just hope we can beat City. It will obviously be difficult because City are actually a pretty good team, but still the greatness of the derby day feeling should be enough I guess. If we can win our next two very difficult away games, that would put us in a great position going through to Christmas.

People are forgetting how easy Chelsea’s run has been so far. They have literally had three mainly difficult games and dropped points in all of them. Away at City – a loss, Away at Villa – a draw and Away at Pool – a loss. I cannot believe all the pundits don’t have the sight to see that they have literally had those difficult games and dropped pts in all of them. However, we do expect that from pundits a lot. Chelsea this and Chelsea that, but whenever United wins a difficult games, they just blew it early and got lucky. Fuck them all is what I would say.

I have literally stopped watching the analysis on ESPN Starsports in Asia because it is literally anti-United and pro-Chelsea every single week and it pisses me off.

  198. Costas says:

    @Corea

Yep. Plus, there’s another way to look at it. If you can’t score against Newcastle at home for 90 minutes, you don’t deserve to win.

  199. Corea says:

@Costas – you have no clue. they hit the bar 2 times!!!
that’s why i am always humble when we drop points at home against the modest sides. get yourself a bit of self-esteem Arsene.

  200. willierednut says:

Great weekend, but still a very tough game to come on Wednesday. It could be back back to 5 points again on thursday, if we lose and the chavs win. With Nani ruled out, that leaves us thin on creativity, I’m hoping Giggsy is at least back and Berbatov also. I’d take a point now.

  201. karandravs says:

    @Balaji Sivaraman
totally a gree with u there.. Well let them be deluded. Chelsea have already won the title and Arsenal play the best football .. no need to wake them from the dream !!
and United btw are way past the prime and down in dumps.. the 20+ unbeaten streak doesn’t matter. what matters is 6-0 7-0 drubbing to wigan and blackpool..

  202. MG says:

    Balaji Sivaraman

Have the same problem here all the time

But that’s typical of the media arrogance and intellect which is the sum of fuck all.

  203. Teddy the Reddy says:

Wenger: I haven’t finished on top since 2004

Sonia (His Tart): I like being on top anyway so you don’t worry about that.

  204. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@willie, Nani out huh. I did not know that before and that is going to make it really difficult for us. We are not totally dependant on Scholesy for a lot of creativity. Giggs and Berbatov, if they come back, should make it great. Park will obviously start since he is in great form nowadays. However, I feel that just having Ferdinand, Vidic and VDS should make us comfortable knowing that we do have a solid defense. I expect a very tight game like last season and hope for a similar result too.

  205. MG says:

    Tedy the Reddy

The French and tarts – a match made in food heaven

    Right :)

  206. Corea says:

It’s not aboutthe creativity, it’s about holding the ball. Parky player 70 minutes at Bursa and on Saturday. Hope he has substantial energy left to give his all because that is what he is best at.
I think Scholesy should be ok so no worries.

  207. karandravs says:

@Costas Arsenal deserve a goal every match just for sheer brilliant football.. I guess that is what Arsene Wenger meant .. Putting ball in net is for teams on brink of disaster like United.
Well United is in shambles, Chelsea has won the league and Pool can still win their first Primier League this time.
    @willierednut Believe !!!

  208. MG says:

    Andy Gray at it

City can go and beat United

Yeah make my day fuck face

And he’s saying Chelsea will still win the title

Yep – we already said that :)

  209. redroy says:

Thank you Ladyboy. You looked extra purty today. Also a big thanks to our Little Shirtseller. You earned your keep my friend.

  210. James7t7 says:

Turned out good for Utd when at one point it was looking really bad.

Congrats to Park, not the best of seasons but it’s contributions like that that set Utd apart from the others.

Still need to improve and City is going to be a really tough test. Time to keep the pressure on Chelsea.

    Cmon the Reds!!!!

  211. hammons says:

its quite funny how one week can turn the title race on its head and change the view of a player. we were dead and buried in the race and people were calling for park to leave. i will be honest at the end of september, i was done with the SK, but i gladly ate my humble pie.

  212. Whiteside Curler says:

Oh man Scholesy’s header last season! And wazza’s! And ickle Mickey’s goal too! Bring on the bitters. The way this season is going i’m expecting an O’Shea cross for Bebe to score that last minute winner.

  213. TonyBee says:

Fuck me what a weekend I’ve had this weekend…..
I get a job offer of a years work
I get news that we are not having grandkids over this weekend due to bonfire parties (love em really)
    Car flies through the MOT
United stiff Wolves and shut that cunt McCarthy up
Actually get me leg over (real result that)
the bastarding dippers beat the fucking Rentboys
and the Arse get blown out at home……..tra-la-la

thinking of doing the Euro lottery before the weekend

  214. Corea says:

    VDS
    Brown Vida Rio Evra
    Fletch Scholesy Oshea Giggsy
    Chicha
    Berba

Tough call. Still hope Nani out of it is not a foregone conclusion.

  215. catotraa says:

    on another note:
Seems Ollie is really leaving for Molde FK in norway, Moldes local newspaper says he is to take over their team in january, and they have only got a temporarily manager from august to january.

A good thing, maybe? We all know he will need more experience before he is to take over for SAF, better start earning it now! Although i personally think i would prefer if he could be SAF’s assistant..

  216. TonyBee says:

Torres was just saying to the Rentboys look how good I am …..come and buy me….!!

  217. willierednut says:

Creativity is how you open teams up, so yes, it is partly about that. I also think City can be caught napping at set pieces, that’s why i hope Giggsy is fit on wednesday.

  218. redrider says:

Prediction for Wednesday : Balotelli spotted warming up. Tevez walks over and mumbles something. Tevez on the floor clutching his face.
Balo : Just because i got a red card last Sunday he thinks he can tell me that I can’t play… I dint wait for him to finish. Nobody loves me here. I wanna go home…

  219. theboogeyman says:

TonyBee- Hi mate. Good on you!

  220. wayne says:

am i imagining things or do we always play shitty after a c.l. game,

  221. Teddy the Reddy says:

    @MG

Arsenal are never really a problem to United when I think of title challengers.

With Wenger at the helm he’ll always pick french tarts over titles.

    :)

  222. willierednut says:

catotraa – I think it’s a great thing that Oles going to get experience, then he comes back ready for the big job.

  223. Costas says:

    @wayne

Have to think about it, but it’s not always. The 4-3 win was after a European game. But the 2 defeats in 07-08 weren’t. The two games in 08-09 were. It’s 50-50 I think…

  224. willierednut says:

The gonners were shocking today and Fabregas attitude atm, reminds me of Ronaldos attitude in his last season. I know Andy Carroll got motm, but the lad in midfield was brilliant, his name escapes me, but he had Fabregas in his pocket.

  225. obertanthenewstar says:

    willierednut

TIOTE!! i was shouting his name the whole match… he has brilliant… i wouldnt mind having him in our squad tbh

  226. samuel -united WE stand says:

@willierednut – you mean chiekh tiote? newcastle signing from fc twente? Similar to essien, but i’ll watch him for the whole season so he is not yet another flash in the pan, maybe we could put in a bid, would add the steel and power we currently lack, anderson has all this but ain’t proving himself yet.

  227. devil without a cause says:

anyone who wants to read a lot of bullshit with a huge grin on his/her face should read this…….

    http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/2171/premier-league/2010/11/07/2202487/comment-when-park-ji-sung-is-manchester-uniteds-hero-you

lmao-ed my way through all this…………

  228. fergie is the boss says:

MG – there are still a phew players at united who I still find not good enough to play for united. To be honnest every club has them.

I am still worried the lack of options out wide, but it should be a much stronger team that plays against shitty

  229. willierednut says:

    Samuel obertanthenewstar

Yes. He was very efficient today and kept Fabregas(albeit out of sorts Fab) very quiet. If he shows that type of form all season, then I can’t see Newcastle holding on to him.

  230. fergie is the boss says:

devil without a cause – well if that idiot thinks united are that bad then shitty arsenal must be horrible.

interesting that united have more goalscorers that coild get past 10 this season than last.

    09/10
    rooney 34
    berbatov 14
    own goal 10

    10/11
    berbatov 8
    nani 6
    hernandes 6
    park 4
    owen 3

say rooney gets back on track he could easily hit 20 this season

  231. wayne says:

@costas thanks it seemed this weekend most teams playing c.l. under performed, spurs, chelsea, gunners all lost and we were shit
@devil without a cause, fucking press not sure why park takes so much stick he’s the ultimate team player in my opinion now he’s back to full fitness has been playing well, most teams would love to have a player like him in their squad

  232. slim says:

    @ devil without a cause

Glad you were able to find that funny, because i didn’t. The ABU media is just shit really, when ivanovic rescued Chelsea it was strength in depth and all that bollocks when part , a champions league winner mind you scores a winner its a disaster. The relentless efforts to smear our club by the media is downright disgusting

  233. TheRadLegion says:

    @Hammons:
Am I not entitled to my own opinion? I’m just saying, Chelsea will slip for sure but the chance of seeing Liverpool gets relegated would be fuckin priceless. And I’d love to see their confident gets slaughtered week in week out.

Question my allegiance? Mental states? I’m gonna say these two words “FUCK YOU”

    @Fze123:
As I said, I want to see Liverpool relegated what’s wrong with that?

  234. Injury Time says:

    I don’t like Wayne Rooney.

  235. devil without a cause says:

    fitb and wayne

lets sum that one up correctly and perfectly.
that was abu-ism at its best. park is the captain of a country that made world cup semi finals…. he is the ultimate team player. give him any position and he would give his all for the team.. that article was one of the worst i have read in terms of speaking sense… so bloody what that park got a brace and an injury time winner…… he was one of the best players going forward yesterday… and is him getting a winner that much of a big deal??? didnt he score some crucial goals last season as well…….
or does the author wants to spread that only strikers scoring the winner is good otherwise its a demise……..

    lets just simply say :
    FUCK THAT FUCKING FUCKER…………

  236. fergie is the boss says:

if shitty chelsea and arsenal were missing half their team its strength and depth, united do it its uniteds weaknesses exposed. serious hargreaves oshea obertan bebe park hernandes at the moment but will be, they are not first team players. Losing scholes nani giggs valencia rooney berbatov owen to injurys and on the bench is pretty damn impressive to win. oh yes wolves did beat the might shitty who are going to take over the world and win title after title and european cups. A wins a win and my weekend has been great

  237. SirAlex'sSon says:

I’ve been under the weather for some time now. Turn of things today seem to have breathe a temporary freshness in me.

    We’ll never die!
    Bring on Shitty!!!

  238. King Eric says:

Confident about wed. Reckon nani etc is a smokescreen and will play. Fletch. Scholes and carrick will dominate the middle with nani and giggs or park out wide. An inform rio and vida to lkeep judas quiet. Evra and rafa bombing up wings. Uinbeaten in twenty four aren’t worried about these cunts. Silva won’t know what’s hit him in a manc derby. Puts park winner into perspective. No mistake that win like stoke was HUGE. Great weekend with the rentboys shown to be the over rated team they are. We get slated for certain players but they can spunk eighteen fucking million on ramirez who is woeful. Did ya see their bench today. Had to laugh at wenger saying after gane they knew newcastle were and I quote strong MEN. Says it all. As opposed to fucking fairies. Now can the park bashing stop. Two points is fuck all. Certainly aint worried bout villa either. No barry milNer agbonlahor carew or petrov. They are sixth bottom and we outplayed then with ten men last year. Willie. Yeah mate I heard tylers sly dig at our hundered and seventeen min winner. Cunt. Hammons. I enjoy ya blogs mate but thought you were off with edwin. He has lost nothing mate. Have ya seen some of his saves this season? His distribution apart from was it FIVE you stated in almost thousand minutes is still top drawer. No mate I see no deteriation this term at all. Come on you reds !

  239. fergie is the boss says:

King Eric – well that question should the park bashing stop, that question should be put to that idiots front door on goal.com. parks an ok player but he is not my cup of tea same with oshea really, they work hard but with little end product but thats what I expect from them. But for me united do need rooney fit badly and playing well so he can play that loan striker role so well

  240. CedarsDevil says:

Great week end, over the moon really. King Eric, great post mate…

Again on Andy (fucking cunt) Townsend….. some of his quotes today….

‘ Park is average at best’
    ‘ Chelsea were extremely unlucky’
‘United have the poorest squad amongst the top clubs’
‘Alex has been making terrible team selections’
‘Nani acts more than he plays’

What a bloody blinded dick head

  241. MG says:

    CedarsDevil

What did Andy Townsend ever win :)

They hate us – we love it – more than ever it’s that hate that will spur United and us on

Forever in our shadows – this club will never die.

  242. fergie is the boss says:

CedarsDevil – its not one of uniteds strongest squads but its still the strongest squad in the buisness today. are chelsea unlucky or they are not that good, teams like arsenal chelsea and shitty are overrated, and PPL can like it or not united are underrated. This squad is like the 2002/03 squad, its depleted, but bit by bit it will get better and better

  243. FletchTHEMAN says:

Can’t wait for Wed. Feel absoultely top right now. And those of you bad mouthing our team, just go have a flat beer. I’ll take United over anyone right now and I guarantee you everyone else is thinking the same. We have some young lads pushing though and SAF is not afraid to give them a go. The results this weekend actually mean we could be top by Wed. TOP! Yes, it would be a stretch Fullham beating the Chavs, but hey. I didn’t really expect Loserfool to do the business either. I put up some estimates that we might be stretched to be top by boxing day. Well well, how you beauties like those odds now. But all depends on us doing the business. We can win ugly, as long as it is done the United way, attaching all the way. Wonder what the ABU media will be saying Wednesday if our B teamers go top of the league!

  244. CedarsDevil says:

    @ MG

Nothing whatsoever to answer your question on sour Andy….

    @ FITB

Well said mate, its actually always better to be underrated by the competition and media, makes winning even sweeter

  245. james21 says:

What pissed me off more yesterday, not so much our performance, we’ve had some poor games of late but still undefeated. Its the wankers that walk out 20 mins before the end then with 15mins to go more start to leave. We have a job as well as supporters Utd underperformed yesterday and so did the supporters.

  246. Costas says:

Our unbeaten record is at 24 now? I’ll have to do some research, but I think that the longest we’ve gone unbeaten with Fergie is 33 games during the treble season.

    @wayne

Yeah mate, it’s one of the patterns of Ch.League football. While I do believe that our performance had more to do with our absences, even we have trouble adjusting at times. The Sunderland game for example. Don’t know what to make of the Arsenal result. That was a shocker. I think that in the last 2 years, the former big 4 have lost a lot of their sting.

  247. fergie is the boss says:

CedarsDevil – I missed the team sheet on saterday. I caught the last 20 minutes on the radio, PPL have moaned park does not score enough goals from midfield. He scored 2 yesterday and PPL are still moaning, there is no win win situation with park. The lack of goals from park that everyone uses to beat him with the stick, park scores 2 and united are in trouble.

I will type the team we put out on saterday so fans can really put into perspecvtive how massive the win was

    VDS
    brown ferdinand vidic evra
    oshea
    park hargreaves fletcher obertan
    hernandes

everyone from midfield that usually plays, accept from fletcher did not play.
Our first choice front 2 in berbatov and rooney were missing, uniteds top 3 wingers nani valencia and giggs were missing. and on wednesday united will go into the game 2 points behind the so called mighty chelsea with everyone accept for rooney and maybe nani will play

  248. fergie is the boss says:

there is far more to come for united, VDS ferdinand vidic evra are still finding their feet, valencia could be back soon. rooney is close to returning, nani berbatov scholes giggs carrick fletcher anderson more is to come from this lot, hernandes is getting better and better. United have not even got the car out of the garage yet and turned the keys on. in the next phew months this could be uniteds first choice 18 players

    VDS
    brown ferdinand vidic evra
    carrick fletcher
    valencia rooney berbatov nani
    bench
kuszszec oshea evans scholes anderson hernandes macheda

the biggest 2 plus’s from this is? ferdinand is getting over his injurys, and the form of hernandes will be massive when rooney returns

  249. CedarsDevil says:

    @ FITB

Football fans by enlarge are fickle my friend, one day they make stars and then the next they bury them. That is human nature. Some United fans have already buried Park due to his poor start, forgetting his contribution for our club and especially in the big games…. I heard United fans, YES United fans saying we were rubbish against Wolves!!! How bloody fickle is that? We WON the game ffs, we got 3 points…. Fickle fans just want us to stream roll every team, that is not possible my friends….

  250. willierednut says:

Fantastic weekend, but lets keep a bit of perspective. It’s gonna be nip and tuck between us and Chelsea, for most of the season, with both teams dropping more points. I won’t accept the rentboys being over rated, but Arsenal most certainly are, they always flatter to deceive.

  251. shebangsthedrums says:

I see the bitters will be appealing Ballotelli’s red card, that’s obviously to have him available for wednesday night. I hope he gets an extra game ban for a frivolous appeal like rio did.

  252. Costas says:

Correction: Our longest unbeaten run under Sir Alex was in 93-94. 34 games.

    @shebangsthedrums

They are playing against us next right? It will be rescinded.

  253. fergie is the boss says:

willierednut – I think chelsea are in the catagory of being overrated. We have seen mirror columnist Steve Stammers write 2 columns, 1 chelsea will cake walk the league because they have the power pace and strength in depth it would be the easiest title win for them. And another where he then says a month later instead of looking at the circus in manchester, PPL should look down south where arsenal and chelsea will contest the league. United have played some of the most strange football and be the closest team to chelsea without getting the car out of the garage

  254. fergie is the boss says:

but the hype shitty chelsea and arsenal have recieved has been hlerious, especially the pridictions that shitty have gotten

  255. MG says:

    FITB

    Fucking brilliant analogy

    I quote:

United have played some of the most strange football and be the closest team to chelsea without getting the car out of the garage

Seriously I’m sticking that up on my post it notes and onto the wall – it’s just fantastic…

    ;)

  256. willierednut says:

Why would I, or anyone else, give a fuck what the press thinks? I can make up my own mind, about who’s good and who’s shite, I don’t need those balloons telling me. It was always gonna be between us and Chelsea, the rest are just bit part players.

  257. fergie is the boss says:

willierednut – well on that note we seriously need to question the knowledge the press have on football, we would probably do a better job than the hacks.

MG – thanks for that. But that analogy sums united up in a nutshell to this point. They have played strange and weird football, get bashed to death by everyone yet they are the closest to chelsea, united are probably exactly like rocky at the moment, its just hanging on in there until united get a more settled team. It is just taking the hits until the team gels and settles again, the defence getting fit again has helped allot

  258. Costas says:

The thing is that up til now, the only top 4 club that has lost points at places you’d expect them to drop points to, is Chelsea. That’s the worrying thing for me. They have to start dropping points to places like Bolton, Everton and Fulham, just like we did.

  259. CedarsDevil says:

    @ willie

Whilst I partly agree about your point in keeping things in perspective BUT football imo is not about perspective when it comes to us fans. We celebrate a win as much as we hate a defeat, we do take one game at a time and we conduct ourselves accordingly, as fans we are NOT strategic thinkers, we are emotional, we win and we celebrate, we lose and we mourn. What is perspective to a football fan? We win the league and than what is the perspective? Hope you get my point mate

  260. willierednut says:

Perspective isn’t that hard to understand, as the late great Karen Carpenter once said, we’ve only just begun. If the press were writing us off, then that shows how much they really know about football, but on the other hand, we shouldn’t do the same with Chelsea.

  261. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

damn you, now you have gone and opened up my music box!! great song btw

  262. samuel -united WE stand says:

City match won’t be easy i can assure you all, playing them at eastlands will be difficult as they turn it up a notch on there own patch, they’re unpredictable and we do not know what sort of city will turn up, the key is defending really well, we need vida and rio at there very best and if we get chances up top, it must be buried, i think the manager will play a 4-5-1 in this game, turning into 4-3-3 when we go forward..If we nick a win, i’d be delighted, a draw won’t be the end of the world but a win would be fantastic as it won’t come easy despite the impression some optimistic united fans might give you.

  263. denton davey says:

WillieRedNut @ 22:44: ” It was always gonna be between us and Chelsea,”

Oh, ye of great faith ! This was also my expectation but I am surprised that after ALL the chaos and frivolity-in-defending-leads that TheLads are just two points adrift. This was an exceptionally significant 24 hours – UTD snatch a victory from the jaws of a draw; the RentBoyz lose to the KopSukkers while TheArse look feeble against the BarCodes. Who’d have thunk it ?

I wrote a few messages a while back reminding our friends that the fast-out-of-the-blocks scenario by the RentBoyz was nothing new – that’s exactly what happened when BigPhill was in charge two years ago. Now, their team is two years older and the additions – Zhirkov and Ramires and Sturridge – are not exactly performing like world-beaters. Drogba is still mercurial and the same can be said for Anelka and Malouda – some might want to call them “flat track bullies” but I’m more impressed by their incredible inconsistency from week-to-week and even from game-to-game.

Of course, it’s too early to count our chickens BUT the resilience of TheLads has been impressive testimony to SAF’s calm, professional, experienced leadership. His team is being re-built while it is competing for a championship – note that TheArse have been trophy-less for five years while htey have been re-building and they look no closer to a trophy than at any time in the past five years.

SAF’s ability to blend youth and experience is unparalleled; and his ability to “home-grow” his talent – even if a lot of them are actually imported as teenagers – is also very impressive. AND his ability to squeeze fine performances out of journeymen squad players – like ThreeLungPark, John O’Shea, and Wesley Brown – is a much under-rated component of the team’s continued success. Injuries are a constant issue for any team in professional sport – the key to winning is finding ways to cope AND succeed. I’m always astonished at the people who don’t recognize this and want to send these guys to the glue factory – or Wigan or Sunderland. These three guys are absolutely crucial to UTD’s ability to weather injury tempests – not one of them is a “first choice” but all of them usually end up playing about 45/50 matches and their unheralded contributions go a long way towards keeping the squad balanced, competitive and in-the-hunt for trophies year-after-year.

  264. denton davey says:

Samuel @ 23:05: “City match won’t be easy i can assure you all”

What did the fat guy say to Craig Bellamy last year ? “4-3, mate”

  265. willierednut says:

CedarsDevil – Lets hope we’re on top of the world on Wednesday lol. The reason I said keep a bit of perspective, is becuase this game on Wednesday is massive for United. Add to that the players we have missing, it’s gonna be battle royal imo, which City will be desperate to put one over us and that’s why I’d take a point now.

  266. FletchTHEMAN says:

@FITB completely agree. We have closed back 8 points in 10 days. Still strolling through our warm up.
Really wish we had Wayne with us as I think we would be top by some measure by now. But that said, we can do this the slow start united way. I frankly think Wayne may not play another game for us.

@Costas, you might be right on the unbeaten streak. We had the UEFA record for a few games in 2008 (cup games) but I lost track after that. Would like to know the number if you do find it.

  267. wayne says:

@costas i agree i mentioned on a different thread everyone raves about chelsea but i don’t see it,they’ve had 2 tough away games and lost them both,i think fabregas is putting in time and will be gone next year, don’t see torres sticking around at liverpool either, utd have plenty of people missing and still grinding out results but the press is fucked don’t take that into account and rate us as a bad side.overall the gap has tightened theres no free games anymore but i still think if the other top clubs had the amount of players missing we have they’d be in much worse shape

  268. Costas says:

    @FletchTHEMAN

That was the longest unbeaten record in the Ch.League. 25 consecutive games. From the 3-0 loss at Milan until the Ch.League final in Rome. :(

I think we still have that if I am not mistaken…

  269. CedarsDevil says:

    willie

with you all the way mate and well said. Biggest game of our season? NO biggest of theirs? YES

Mind you a win will make my week and bragging rights for weeks to come

    C’Mon UNITED

  270. Karandravs says:

So much for John O Shea bashing.. Was he the one who conceded the ball to wolves for their counter to get the goal . I think it was Fletcher .. Every team has it’s baggage .. Players who just fit in and are no Ronaldo or messi or even park …
Dayton devvy I loved your post coz u summed it up perfectly .. SAF makes the blend just about perfectly ..reading the comments I would have thought United had lost and were at the bottom of the table .. We had injuries , players missing through viruses, diarrhea.. SAF made the selection thinking we could sneak a 1-0 past the wolves while keeping scholes and giggs fresh for the derby and villa matches ..

If SAF thinks Oshea deserves to be in the squad, well then I don’t care how many of you think he is shite .. I myself was seething when at least 5 times O Shea gave the ball away under pressure .. But eventually we had No one to cover that position that day ..

Rather than discussing over park and Oshea I haven’t seen a single post regarding the need to get some one for reducing the load on Fletcher . he might not have been top form but the reason for that is he is playing every minute of every match .. We seriously need to find someone to reduce this load on Fletherihno .. We might scape matches without Vida or Rio but a team sheet in Europe or the league with out Fletcher looks totally lost .. Fletcher is now the most vital cog in our line up and his lack of chasing down the ball when he lost it and it resulted in the goal was something which makes me more worried than OShea losing the ball or Bebe over hitting a cross ..

  271. Karandravs says:

Sorry I got the post name wrong .. It’s Denton Davey whose post I loved ..

  272. willierednut says:

Everyone knows we need another CM, that’s been discussed time and time again. Another thing about todays game, I believe most teams have 3 players they couldn’t do without for a long period of time. We seen today for the rentboys, that was Drogba, Lampard and Essien, I wonder who our 3 players would be?

  273. Karandravs says:

    Fletcher scholesy and Rooney

  274. Costas says:

    This morning I said lets see how Chelsea fare without Drogba(Rooney), Anelka(Berba), Malouda(Nani), Kalou(Giggs), Benayoun(Park) and Mikel(Carrick).

It’s hard to say what’s our equivalent of Lampard though. I don’t think we have one. Scholes is playing a different role now. Fletch is our Essien though.

  275. Costas says:

All I can say though, is that Nani has become our most creative player this season. I think he is the one we would miss the most.

  276. RedScot says:

@Costas you drone you! lol Fletch is never an Essien.
You are causing fights all over the blog.
Thats my job mate. Away and count the Bee’s in the hive , you drone, report back with how many fly in and fly out per minute! lmao

  277. willierednut says:

Rio, Fletch and Scholes. I’d have had Rooney on last seasons form, but we all know whats happened there. To be fair, it’s a toss up between Scholes and Giggs, but the ginger prince by a whisker.

  278. Costas says:

    @RedScot

Haha, what can I say? You taught me well, lol.

He is not exactly like Essien, but he is the closest thing we have to him I think.

  279. RedScot says:

We need to fucking chill here boys.
Are we better of than Saturday night, preferences of players and postions are subjective.
No need to fall out, all though i think calling someone a drone, funny.
Soya mate I dont think you will find Costas is a drone, drain whatever.
For me its simple as fuck, we have moved on closer to our joint aim in this recovery of our Title.
Thats not tricky to understand is it.
For all the lads in Manchester. Its written in the Stars*
    I had a quick fix.
    Ciddy 1 United 2
    Believe.

  280. willierednut says:

I don’t know, he is a busy bee.

  281. RedScot says:

@ Costas i know he aint, you no who I would like at United and I am being serious.
The type of player we need right now is the like of Mark Van Bommel, to add steel guts and grit.
A bit like Roy Keane, you no fire in the tackle, thou shalt not pass sort of player.
Ps I love Fletch for his graft. He hasles like a wee Terrier.
    We need stiffened up centrally

  282. willierednut says:

    Viagra?

  283. RedScot says:

    @ willie, ok hunney
nite lads remember the players are subjective and thats opinion.
    There is only one truth.
Get the Glazer out of United.
    Nite Reds.
    Believe.

  284. Costas says:

Someone get me some honey, lol.

    @RedScot

I won’t lie. At times I miss a player like that too. I look at our midfielders like a father does with his boy. I am proud that they are good lads, but every now and then, I wish they wouldn’t allow anyone to bully them around. The problem is where you find a player like that and maintain your creative edge. That’s why Hargo was so special…

  285. willierednut says:

A few years back, I’d have taken Van Bommel, but maybe he’s just too old now. That’s most certainly the area we need to strengthen in the summer.

  286. fergie is the boss says:

yea we all know we need a new midfielder, I do hope fergie can find the complete midfielder who can control our midfield not just destroy

  287. aig alex is god says:

    @bigphil

Ill be honest and i dont mind Torres over Rooney. Not at the moment for sure. The main accusation against Torres is he goes down too easily. Fine, all the top players do that at the moment. Diving, theatrics etc is a part of the game now.

Rooney isnt a better player than him thats for sure. The reason Rooney has won so much is because he plays in a ‘better team’. What can you say when someone like Rooney who has been developed and nurtured by the club plus won so many titles says the club ‘lacks ambition’. Isnt it Torres who should be asking these questions??. However he has always been loyal to Liverpool. The recent events have increased my respect for Torres even more.

  288. samuel -united WE stand says:

People need to stop putting there hopes on hagreaves, the man hasn’t played for two years on the spin, he is bound to be getting different niggling injuries, i have huge doubts over him, if he doesn’t play this season, his confidence will be shot and he might have to retire.

We can’t be relying on him, we should dip in the market for a new anchor man.

  289. Jeet says:

@RedScot : Rodwell or Schweinsteiger is the answer. In my FM version of co-managing Utd with SAF, I would buy Rodwell and Sneidjer. Imagine a MF of Valencia-Fletch-Rodwell/Schweini-Nani with Sneidjer or Berba playing in the hole behind Chicha…yummm….

  290. jespermoses says:

3 points in the bag…..move on ….simple as that.Good weekend for us apart from City result.Does anyone else think Carrol at Newcastle would be an interesting signing for us?
He is game as fuck and loves to get stuck in!
    Only 21 too

  291. Corea says:

Reading couple of hundreds of your posts posted by all of you after i’d gone to bed is really encouraging. But just stop for a minute. Chelsea played Villa, City and scousers away. We played Liverpool at home at not the best of moments for them. We lost points against West Brom at home!
Draw against Everton wouldn’t have been a disaster in a normal day but it was. Still early days but being 2 points behind matters a lot even though we have some tough fixtures during the next 30 days.
I am not being negative but just want us to remain focused and not exaggerate things.
I can imagine what we would have here if things start to get worse. Of course it can’t be said about our most sensible posters who always stay positive but let’s wait and see.

I am positive about Wednesday. Regardless of the team we will field. I predict Chicharito having a great game. His determination really wins you over.

  292. Costas says:

    @Corea

Morning buddy. Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. They’ve lost points in 3 games you expect them too. And ironically, we play 2 of those games this week. And with 60 hours between them. And with a weakened squad from the virus. If we get 4 points this week, I’ll b every happy.

  293. Chicharito14 says:

@jespermoses. The man is a thug, rumours of him beating up his girlfriends and his senior team mates at newcastle. he is not the type of a player who will fit in with the image of MANCHESTER UNITED.

  294. Corea says:

@Costas – morning friend. life is a funny thing sometimes but i can’t stand some things such as praising the team and the players one day and after a week suddenly they become second-class.
It’s disgusting. Some people just never learn. Anticipating the worse ? No way!
4 points in these games will be a great result. On Wednesday the best TEAM will prevail. I don’t see a TEAM at city thus far. Carlos Tevez is the man that can make the difference for them. WE have our Chicharito. I just hope he hasn’t run out of steam looking at the level of effort he puts in every game.

  295. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@Corea, Yeah, my point was that Chelsea dropped points in all the game they were expected to. United threw away points but still they were difficult matches we would’ve taken draws from on other seasons. My point being that apart from those matches Chelsea’s run have been easy but no pundit seems to note that aspect. They just keep on saying Chelsea are the best or that they are automatically Champions without analyzing the situation objectively which irritates me.

Anyways, I think the God of Fixtures has again not smiled upon us. A match on Wed should ideally be followed by a match on Sunday but we have it on Saturday. Actually, the derby couldn’t have come at a better time for us I feel, since City are in all sorts of trouble with the relationship between the team and the manager. And they have not exactly set the world alight in the past few weeks. So, now would be the ideal time to play them. Won’t be easy but we still have a decent chance at getting a good result out of the game.

As I said if we get a decent amount of points – 4 or preferably all 6 (possible but very difficult) – then that would put us in an amazing position going into Christmas I feel.

  296. Rooney > England says:

Just one stat. Tevez return isnt that good news. Was hoping he dosent play

Since Tevez has joined City, they havent won a single game in which he hasnt played.

  297. Rooney > England says:

Solskjaer to sign for Molde tomorrow.

  298. Corea says:

    @Balaji Sivaraman

    Wigan 20.11. Home
    Blackburn 27.11. Home
    Blackpool 4.12. Away
    Arsenal 13.12. Home
    Chelsea 19.12. Away

Yes, ideally 4 points this week and then 9 would be ok.

The game on the 19th would be important. I would love us to beat the shit out of Chelsea especially away. Hope we will have the luck on our side this term.

  299. Dr.Hannibal says:

Good bye 20legend !! thanx for the memories u will be forever in our hearts no matter where ever you go!! Hope one day u will replace our gr8 manager..Miss you!!

  300. Costas says:

    @Rooney > England

Yes, but they have lost both league games against us with Tevez in their side. :D Anyway, Tevez isn’t the problem. We get a fit back 5, as well as Fletcher, Carrick and Scholes available and I’ll be ok with our defence on Wednesday. It’s the creative part that worries me. And the fact that we are down to the bare bones. How will we rotate for Villa?

  301. Costas says:

    Can’t believe Ole is leaving. :( :(

This is a temporary goodbye, 20legend.

  302. Rooney > England says:

    @Costas

True but they are a much better side with him. With Balotelli out, we have one wanker less to deal with though :D . Am worried about the Villa game too. The worst part is, it is an early game on Saturday. Think we will see the likes of Gibson, Anderson start that one. Cant see Scholes starting against Villa if he plays against City. Hopefully Nani will return for Villa. If we emerge from those 2 games still unbeaten and still close to Chelsea it will be great. Difficult to see that happening though.

  303. Jeet says:

@Costas: Very accurate assessment. I say play Fletch and Carrick against Shitty and hope we dont need to bring on Scholes. Rest Evra against Villa and play Fabio/JOS as LB.

    XI for shitty:
    VDS
    Rafa Rio Vida Evra/JOS
Park Fletch Carrick Giggs/Evra (if Giggsy is out play Evra at LW and JOS at LB)
    Berba Chichi

    XI for villa:
    VDS
    Brown Rio(Smalling?) Vida JOS
Park Fletch Scholes Giggs (hopefully Nani)
    Berba Chichi

The guy I am most scared about is Fletch – poor guy never gets a rest and is simply irreplaceable right now – we just dont seem to have another grafter in our squad. More than a playmaker, we need a DMF, IMO…

  304. Costas says:

    @Rooney > England

Don’t be so sure about Balotelli. They will appeal it and the FA are even bigger wankers than City…

Are Gibson and Ando available this week? Kiko is the first player back from the virus, but I am not sure about the rest. It’s a terrible situation, because even if they have recovered, we don’t know how much it has taken out of them. Although some might say that if Gibson and Ando lost some weight it wouldn’t be a bad thing. ;) Plus, we have players who were flirting with the damn virus over the weekend and we don’t know how they are.

We don’t have a game next week, so that fact that the VIlla game is 60 hours after the City game is ludicrous. No excuse for that. Sky keeps fucking us over. As I said, 4 points this week would be great. We will have to dig deep for it. Plus, Villa Park, like Craven Cottage and Goodison, has become another cursed ground for us in the last 3 years..

  305. Costas says:

    @Jeet

I’d love to join you and make predictions for the next two, but with the damn virus going around the team, it’s impossible. :) I see Giggsy and Nani playing only one game this week. Same for Scholesy and Rio. Park, Vida, Evra, VDS and Fletch are the ones that will probably play both. And maybe we will play 4-5-1 in both games rotating Berba and Chicha. Who knows? I hope we get some of the sick players back this week.

I agree about a DMF. I’ve said it too. What we really luck is a replacement for Fletch. Carrick is a different player(albeit quite vital for us) and Ando is an enigma. Our creativity comes from the wings and Berba, so we are good there. Plus, Fletch and Scholes aren’t too bad at spraying passes either.

  306. Rooney > England says:

    @Costas

I think even if Ando and Gibbo are fit enough to return for the derby they should be given more time to recover and should not play. We have Scholes, Carrick and Fletcher, maybe we can have one of them on the bench. SAF said Berbatov should recover so hopefully he will. Think Nani will return for Villa. Actually wont be surprised if he makes a surprise return against City. SAF always has a few surprises up his sleeve. Will be interesting to see how SAF rotates the squad.

Quite a few draws at Villa park in the last few years. Hope we can win this time. Villa are looking ok under Houiller, nothing great.

  307. willierednut says:

I could see Tevez and Balotelli becoming a devastating partnership in the next few years, that’s if the latter can keep his head of course.

  308. King Eric says:

You say Chelsea have dropped points at grounds you would expect them to. Yeah well I expect them to drop them at Goodison and Bolton as well.

  309. King Eric says:

willie – hello mate. Wont happen fella because the two wont be together for that long. I will give fat head Tevez this season before he has gone. Likewise Balotelli. I could of course be wrong but just cannot see them here that long. Why the fuck was Balotelli’s agent or tech director or shite watching him yesterday?

  310. denton davey says:

Rooney > England @ 8:37: “Since Tevez has joined City, they havent won a single game in which he hasnt played”

That’s an incredible statistic. But, of course, ManShitty haven’t won all the games in which he’s played – 4-3, mate !

  311. willierednut says:

Say what ya want, he’ll be a big threat on wednesday, no doubt.

  312. RedScot says:

@Jeet I see what you are saying. To stiffen up the midfield.Rodwell is a no no mate.He has a new 5 year contract at Goodison.David moyes is no mug mate.
As for Bastian Schweinstiger he would be great, but it wont happen.
Old Trafford was bombed bye the Germans buddie. joking….. tongue in cheek.
You like me see we have a great team, just need more Ommph in the midfield.
