Morning Commented on this yesterday. What a belter. The lad looks like real quality. Great shot, strong, pacy, skilful. Hate comparing players especially to Gooners but reminds me very much of Patrick Viera. Long strides and the way he breaks up play and drives forward. Still very young but reckon he will be ready for the first team in a couple of seasons. Well worth all the hassle.

  2. schmikes1 says:

good closing down from the wba defence! hopefully once the boy has filled out a bit he looks like a force to be reckoned with. agree with king eric, he does have that vieria-ness about him, especially with those long legs!

  3. theboogeyman says:

HOLY HELL!! Effing belter that was!

  4. Fze123 says:

I would like him to score one like this on his Utd debut.

  5. rooninho says:

    fucking hell!

somebody start working on a pogba song now. best bouquet of flowers ever sent by united!

  6. Giles Oakley says:

Great goal. It’s so good to see so many skillful kids coming through. Pogba looks very good, but needs to fill out and bulk -up a bit, like anyone of his age. Hope Fergie gives plenty of first team chances to these kids as they get a bit older. No use having 20 great youths if none of them get a break. Solskjaer and McGuinness seem to be doing a terrific job bringing them all through the ranks.

  7. the Red C says:

Great goal! Let’s hope the lad is payed for…:)

    Sorry just teasing…

  8. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

Rooniho check the videos Emily has one in there for him just click my name

  9. Roger Federer says:

Didn’t Fabregas play for Arsenal in the League Cup at the age of 15? If they’re good enough, they’re old enough IMO. Rooney was playing in the Premier League when he was 16. This fella looks a cut above everthing at Academy level. I wonder how soon he will break into the first team…

  10. King Eric says:

Roger Federa – I have to agree mate, he certainly does look a cut above academy level. I said a season or two which would make him 18. We could well see him sooner. Gonna be a right player I hope. Looks superb.

  11. KJ says:

And to think.. people thought we’d stolen this guy just like Chelski!

Oh and btw, that kid Chelski stole Kakuta.. missed the penalty that got them out of the carling cup! He’s a chelsea player already!

  12. rooninho says:

    @ghtt

    brilliant!

    …because he’s nice and legal!

  13. Dec the red says:

wouldnt compare him to Vieira tbh, hopefully his passing is better anyway because we dont want him giving the ball away to the likes of ryan giggs in semi-final replay in extra time do we?

  14. pawaka21 says:

worth the fuss in the media for him IMO

  15. ojijo-kenya says:

Great goal, but with the sudden turn of events at Old traford, i wouldnt hold my breath on him getting a chance soon.whats wrong with saf anyway?the Ljajic issue is just as disheartening as Manuchos, can anybody imagine what our great club has done to this brilliant kid?Essien,Adu, Dodo, etc went through the same.Ramsey knew better and avoided it, i hope he(ljajic)ends up in the epl so that we pay for this classless behaviour, hopefully to gunners.

If ur good enough then ur old enough,So true.
Although, Kakuta missed a peno in the LC, he was stunning on his debut against Wolves, very skillful and was willing to take on players, hes a star in the making.
Coming to UTD, its great to see Gibson taking his chances with both hands, Welbeck n Kiko haven’t really done much IMO.

  17. King Eric says:

ojijo-kenya – Please get your facts right about Essien, Ramsey etc. Who gives a fuck how “psycologically damaged” Ljijac is?

  18. King Eric says:

Wellbeck and Kiko are considerably younger though andsolskjaerhaswonit . If getting the winners at Villa and Sunderland last season “isn’t much” then I don’t know what is.

  19. five says:

Macheda hasn’t done much? He was mentally strong enough to come on against Villa and had the balls to get the ball and run at the defense right away(if you remember he skinned a defender early on into the match) before getting the winner!.

Welbeck clearly has talent, he needs to fill out more and be a bit unselfish.

How were we classless to Manucho? he didnt set the world alight in the reserves or at Hull and I havent heard him doing much at Valladolid! I’d have Kiko,Welbeck,Owen over him

  20. Micky says:

    King Eric

Macheda HASN’T done much. He scored ONE good goal. The goal the game after was a fluke – it hit him.

Take your red tinted glasses off and look at his stats – he’s not good enough yet.

He may well become a world class player, but he has three or four years to go yet – in my opinion.

Also, stop attacking people. The moment you start swearing, you lose the argument.

  21. sprite says:

    five
    spot on

  22. andsolskjaerhaswonit... says:

King Eric: Get over it, i was talking about what Kiko has done this season not raving about his ‘winners’ frm which one was good n the other one he knew nothing about.
He just hasn’t done enough ‘this season’ to show the world class talent u think he is.! Period.
Although i’m willing to give him time but don’t just ignore the obvious.

  23. cristiano tazmal says:

    well done…mate dat was astonishing

  24. Tonka Norris says:

The guy isn’t short of confidence, is he? Will look forward to watching him grow. I agree with the comments above, we’ve got lots of talent coming through, but I wish we had some defenders on loan that we could recall. This is getting scary. The worst sicklist we’ve had in years.

  25. five says:

At least we’ll have De La Et against the Villa and inshallah Brown will be fit

Evra Carrick Brown De La Et

    Patched up but capable
