Top stuff . Heard a few say this kid is very aware of whats going on around him and has great football intelligence.. Both footed too. Looks a great prospect.

  2. pets says:

I cant wait see u play for the best club in the world

  3. FletchTHEMAN says:

Seems a top lad as well. Very centered and mature. Hope he settles in well and they can get him into the full preseason work up and a game or 3.

    Welcome to United son!

  4. FletchTHEMAN says:

Also want to comment on the negotiations. Seems everyone on both sides acted a credit to their clubs and the player. No pissing about. Crewe/Alexandra knew the lad would leave and looked for the best club for the lad. United seem to have given Crewe what they need to build their club. Much respect all around. One other thing of note. . . .

Didn’t hear word one about the lads agent! Way things ought to be

  5. ManUforeva says:

Now he should be fast tracked into the 1st team…after some games in the reserves and from the bench.

  6. CedarsDevil says:

Welcome to United son, not seen him in action but have been reading great reviews…..Looks like a big lad as well

    King Eric

    How have you been mate?

  7. FletchTHEMAN says:

Cedars; Goodly lad. About an inch(2.4cm) higher than Giggs and more filled out. Still more mobile than Gibbo, but a presence that will be noticed if he moves himself about. We will see if he has the courage to step up but I give him a 2 year settling in and all will be right.

    Crewe www: Height: 6′ 0″ (183cm) Weight: 10st 5lbs (65.83kg)

I hope we keep him at the Club for a Year and maybe loan him next if needs be. Need to build trust with the lad and vise versa.

  8. Kagawa The Shirt-seller says:

I bet he can’t sell as many shirts as me. :)

  9. CedarsDevil says:

    Fletch

Cheers for the info mate, he did look taller in the video…..Good luck to him

  10. samuel - united WE stand says:

Judging by powell’s comments, i don’t think he joined to be shifted about on loan. At 18, he’s already set sights on the premier league and i personally would encourage him to do so. Why should age be a barrier? he clearly possesses more ability than the reserves so why would he even contemplate going down that route? Like i’ve said, some younger players can grab the stage due to their fearless and confident mentality and i’d hope powell falls in this category.

I’d say playing in league two, where most players apply a pure physical approach is difficult for creative players like powell. It pays testament to his ability that he shined within that set up in order for FERGIE to notice his potential and technical qualities.

I get excited about younger players joining the club. They bring a mystic and unpredictability that united thrive on. I for one will be supporting him strongly, i hope he becomes a top player here at united eventually

  11. Chelsea the kings of europe says:

Ha ha he is another medicore player like shinji kagawa…and these two will flop like the great BEBE ha ha ha.. Man utd in downward spiral

  12. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Fletch, Great job highlighting the negotiations. It’s a pity that most people don’t understand the importance of such details.

In fact, if you have a look at both of our signings, you can clearly see how they are perfect fits for Manchester United and you can see why Sir Alex would be interested in both of them in the first place. Kagawa openly stated his desire to join Manchester United and both him and his agent were pretty keen on closing out the deal with us. As Fletch highlighted, Powell seems like a top lad with a level head on his shoulders and the dealings from both sides have been perfect.

Take a look at the opposite end of the spectrum, Hazard acted like a whore and openly flirted with fans of three clubs and used United’s name to boost his profile. He acted like the bitch he was before deciding the club that offered him and his agent the most money. From our own end, Pogba has acted like a complete brainless fart and if he chooses Juventus amidst all the allegations about match fixing, then he would’ve also been sidetracked by a corrupt agent.

Just compare the players listed above and decide who you would rather have in your club. I know my choices. It’s a pity that more people don’t realize why the Sir Alex and David Gill make certain decisions. If a player doesn’t want to play for United, then there’s nothing the club can do about it. If we have 26 players who want to play for United and wear the Red of our shirt, then that’s the best we can hope for going into the season.

  13. Chelsea the kings of europe says:

    Ma utd a m t hr f c k r clib managed by t w a t…..

  14. Dan-young says:

LIKE MESSI IN HIS PRIME .. But seriously, great signing, wait till he learns a thing or 2 from scholes and giggs and he will be a great player! Hes got great close ball control in the box and the ability to score a cracker from distance, couldnt ask for more from someone that was born in 1994, bit crazy that when he was in a nappy scholes and giggs were just starting out!

  15. Panderi says:

    Balaji,

Don’t think Juve have been implicated in match fixing this time mate. Their coach is under investigation for the period that he spent as manager of Siena. Anyhow they maybe involved, you never know. Serie A is one of the dodgiest fucking leagues in Europe. There are players co-owned by 2 clubs who sometimes are playing on loan in a third. How the fuck does that work? :D I think Pogba would have been given more chances last season if he were ready. Fergie is never one to shy away from giving youth a chance. Don’t think he would a get a lot of opportunities at Juve either.

Anyway on topic, Powell looks a great prospect and I really look forward seeing to what he can do next season. I think he will be given opportunities in the cup games and maybe sent out on loan in 2013-14 if needed to further his development. And kudos to United and Crewe for the professional manner in which all this was done.

  16. samuel - united WE stand says:

FERGIE apparently is taking adnan januzaj on the pre season tour. Now now, that would be interesting? perhaps FERGIE sees another very young but talented player capable of playing a part next season. I’d imagine in the cup games but no doubt about it, januzaj has fantastic potential as many who watch him regularly can testify. I’m fired up for Next season already, looks like FERGIE is going out all action, we might just see that exciting football played again. Hopefully vidic will be back stronger, he and the defence always been a platform to build a Fearsome attacking unit.

  17. Cyril Sneer says:

Yeah, Juve aren’t directly implicated in this match-fixing scandal, it’s mainly some players from Atalanta and Lazio in Serie A. Apparently it all came out when a (Serie B) Cremonese player was discovered to have drugged his team-mates with sleeping pills!

Pogba’s still a fool though. Giving up a future at United to go and sit on the bench and listen to monkey chants is mental. Still, at least he’ll have a good seat to watch Pirlo…

Have to say it’s nice seeing lads with good attitudes coming into the League. I thought Oxlade-Chamberlain seemed a good lad in his interview the other day and Powell is another good one. I’m also impressed by Kagawa’s attitude and Henriquez has made some great comments about how he has always wanted to play for United.

It makes a nice change from publicity whores like Hazard and “I’ll rock the league” Benzema.

Well done Fergie and good business from Crewe Alex too.

    Now sign Strootman.

  18. WillieRedNut says:

Strange signing. He’ll never take us to the fifth dimension. 8)

  19. samuel - united WE stand says:

Let’s be fair. Racism in society isn’t only found in italy, england and many other countries can’t paint innocent pictures but i agree, i’ll never know why pogba wants to move. I can only imagine his agent is badly advising and also influencing him greatly in terms of his decision. Pogba is not a toddler though and should know what’s best for him, he should know what’s right and if he goes to italy and puts an obstacle on his development then he and he only will take the flak. raiola the cunt only cares about his cut of the bribe.

  20. cubs says:

Dan-Young, messi has yet to hit his prime. 26 to 31!??

  21. Costas says:

    Nice.

  22. Cyril Sneer says:

I reckon Pogba should be more concerned with the racist chants he’ll get from Juventus fans, let alone the rest of the league. Juve were fined four times for their fans’ racist chanting last season.

Someone seriously needs to show him a few videos. Oh well, it’s his choice but the agent must be a total scumbag for encouraging him to put himself in that environment.

  23. Dan-young says:

    Cubs, i was clearly joking.

  24. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

I missed you darling, how have you been mate?

    Costas

Gutted for you after yesterday, was thinking about you during the match

  25. WillieRedNut says:

Cedars – I missed you too sweetie! :P Hope your mountain trip was a worthwhile adventure? ;)

  26. Lebomanc says:

    really glad we signed him!
just hope he gets a good first season and not stick to the bench or play mostly with the reserves

  27. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

It was an adventure of sorts mate, was trying to out drink my lady friend but to no avail….With her being half Irish I never stand a chance, never have and never will!!

  28. Costas says:

    @Cedars

I appreciate it mate. Just stupid mistakes. Don’t know what the manager is thinking in picking the goalkeeper and the left back. They’ve completely ruined our chances of going through.

  29. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

You still have a chance though right? Mathematically at least

  30. Cyril Sneer says:

In case anyone hasn’t seen the United DHL Advert:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_588070&feature=iv&src_vid=R-2l1JpRELI&v=ur8bM1Fq0tY

I think it’s quite good… Not Cantona Nike good, but still good.

  31. CedarsDevil says:

I asked this last week, wasn’t Hernandez supposed to be having the summer off? He played 90 minutes for Mexico against El Salvador yesterday?

  32. Lebomanc says:

    cedars
if am not mistaken, he wasnt allowed to join in mexico’s olympic games only

  33. CedarsDevil says:

    Lebomanc

Oh I see, you must be correct………So he only gets a mini break! Such a pity…..

    Cyril

Thanks for the link mate, great ad that I get on telly regularly

  34. Fred says:

My current favourite United advert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ9Vh7KyOjg

  35. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

Excellent stuff, the ad is actually about me!! ha ha ha

  36. Fred says:

Oh yeah, the part that got cut: “they say he can’t handle his drink” :P

  37. CedarsDevil says:

    Bugger

  38. Costas says:

    @Cedars

Yeah. Beat Russia and we are through. But it won’t be easy at all. And what makes it even worse is that Russia need to get something from the game. Not really fussed about getting eliminated to be honest. It’s a tricky group and things will be even harder in the quarters. It’s just a shame to get eliminated due to childish errors.

  39. FletchTHEMAN says:

BREAKING: Glazers may be switching the IPO release to the US away from Hongkong ?
This might be a good thing b/c of better documentation and oversight from US regulations in my view.
    Is there a down side?

Love to hear views of the ROM Financials board (RFB) ….

    http://www.nesn.com/2012/06/report-manchester-united-prepares-to-sell-shares-on-us-stock-exchange.html

  40. Fred says:

Cedars  These are some of the real alternative takes they did:

“They say he has been bought to sell shirts in the Far East”

“They say he is a cheap alternative to the player we really wanted”

“They say he is a homeless man”

  41. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

Well regardless of the outcome you can always claim that you won the thing unlike supporters of ‘cough cough’ ‘ahem ahem’ England !!!

  42. FletchTHEMAN says:

    ALSO BREAKING:
EPL sell TV rights for record £3.018 billion. 3year deal through 2016.
BSkyB won 116 matches. BT got 38 matches.

    Who the heck is BT?

  43. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

That was frigging hilarious……. “They say he is a homeless man” Had me in stitches

  44. Fred says:

Time to break the collective TV deal imo. Should have done it before City established themselves in the hearts and minds of gloryhunters worldwide. :x

  45. Costas says:

    @Cedars

Speaking of which, I did happen to watch most of the first half of England’s game against France on my vacation. I remember many English journos critisizing the Greek team for its negative tactics back in 2004. I wonder what they made of Hodgson’s set up on Sunday. Soon as Lescott scored everyone was playing behind the ball.

  46. Fred says:

    LOL Cedars, I’m glad. :)

  47. CedarsDevil says:

    BT stands for Broadcasting Tarts

  48. Cyril Sneer says:

BT is ex-Man City hero, Bert Trautmann. He’s famous for Garry Cook inducting him into the United Hall of Fame.

Obviously Mansour is flexing his financial muscles to buy the games and get United off the TV :(

Cedars – Hallo mate. I’ve only managed to catch that advert on TV once. The ABUs don’t want United on TV. Either that or I’m not watching enough…

  49. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

Wash your mouth mate, England were full of invention, I mean with Milner and Parker in the team what else do you expect……Reminded me of Brazil 82….

Just one question though, what the fuck were you thinking………..Watching this bore fest on your vacation?

  50. Lebomanc says:

anyone watching the denmark portugal game? was nani crying?

  51. FletchTHEMAN says:

Cricky…. Loads of important news breaking today:

Roberto Di Matteo signs 2yr deal to manage Chelsea.

Worrying: Roman actually did a sensible thing?! [scratches head]

  52. CedarsDevil says:

    Lebomanc

I am watching it, did not see Nani crying though!

    Fletch

    Worrying indeed!!

  53. CedarsDevil says:

    Portugal are on fire!!!

  54. Fred says:

2-0 Portugal. Nani with the assist. 8)

  55. CedarsDevil says:

    Great assist from Nani!

    Come ON UNITED!!

  56. Lebomanc says:

    cedars
after the first goal, they showed at him…he had a weird face on that seemed as if he was crying
btw, did you watch the south korea lebanon game? :( very disappointing!

  57. CedarsDevil says:

    Lebomanc

I did not notice it………. Yes I saw the Korea game, it was expected…. I am still proud of the boys for getting this far

  58. FletchTHEMAN says:

Financials: this domestic deal for 3.1B is almost double the previous deal and finally will put the British teams in a league with Real and Barca. Glazers should be dancing in the streets tonight and should free up some serious cash for purchases.

Might not be a fan of Scudamore, but crickey that is an amazing number and only accounts for UK viewership. Expect global contracts to rise as well.

Won’t impact next year, but all clubs will be willing to spend much more to get into this market.

    Astounding number TBH

  59. Lebomanc says:

    cedars
ya am very proud of them too, and wont stop watching the lebanon games like most glory fans!
but i had too much expectations, which made me very upset!

  60. jeet says:

Nani can’t cross to save his life…

  61. CedarsDevil says:

    Lebomanc

Nest game is at home, we still have a chance of finishing 3rd!

  62. CedarsDevil says:

    For my mate Jimmy James……….

    Come ON ENGLAND

  63. Costas says:

    @Cedars

We had just returned from the beach and we were wasting time at the hotel. As soon as Nasri equalized, we left for our night out. I was pretty sure France would go on to win it. England actually surprised me. They didn’t completely fuck up for once. :)

  64. WillieRedNut says:

Breaking Breaking Breaking Breaking News News News News!!!!!!!!!!

Nani can cross a ball!

  65. FletchTHEMAN says:

Willie  Taking the piss innit?!

Nani always outstanding on the right. Not really fair to knock him for being played out of position. He is just such an outstanding player that he wins a place in any united team when fully fit ofcourse. Valencia just more limited so has to play on the right.

  66. CedarsDevil says:

    Jeet

Nani is pure and utter shit, surprised we have not sold him yet

  67. Balaji Sivaraman says:

FletchTheMan, I always had this to say of India’s Cricket coach. The BCCI and the top-level players will appoint a coach who is going to serve as a perfect proxy for them. They basically want a “Yes” man who is going to nod his head to anything the senior players in the team have to say. That way the BCCI has its way and the senior players basically run the team. (In a way, the same could be said of our current PM but that’s an entirely different discussion.)

That is exactly how Chelsea have been set up. Roman is not doing a sensible thing. The sensible thing would’ve been to keep hold of AVB because he was actually phasing out the senior players. By keeping Di Matteo, he has kept someone who is basically his puppet. Di Matteo would not have the gall to say to Terry that he won’t be playing today or go against the owner’s wish of playing Torres week in and week out. I mean, they let go of Drogba for God’s sakes. That man is the reason they won the CL and they let him go in place of Ladyboy. So, by appointing Di Matteo, Roman and the senior Chelsea players get exactly what they want.

Also, I wouldn’t say the U.S. market is strictly regulated. If it were, the 2007 recession would’t have happened. I mean look at the Facebook IPO fiasco for example. The underwriters and FB board are facing a class action lawsuit from retail investor regarding ad-revenue projection figures which was hidden from the general public making them suffer a 600 million dollar loss. Personally, I believe that the US markets are far too volatile and I wouldn’t want our club to be listed in such a scenario. We don’t have a strong backing there as well when compared to a place like Singapore. The latter is far more tightly regulated and there will be willing Institutional investors looking to gobble the stocks up like chocolate pie. So, thanks but no thanks, no United States for me. I would prefer Singapore all day long if we are destined to be listed.

  68. ji sung says:

Nani is having a cracking game so far. G’wan lad!

  69. Fred says:

Fletch – spot on about Nani and Valencia.

  70. CedarsDevil says:

Really looking forward to Holland v Germany……One of Europe’s biggest rivalries

  71. FletchTHEMAN says:

Balaj, Cheers mate, the recession may be unavoidable until regulators understand the roles of digital trading programs. I just recall that people like Andy Green were very unimpressed when Singapore was selected and would have favored a US or European release at that time. Not sure why things would be different now.

My point about DiMateo is that he won something and was about to be fired for it. He has the dressing room as much as anyone will. Agree AVB should have stayed, but that is just my point. Roman fires successful managers for no reason.

    On the bright side,
DiMateo to CFC surely means PepGuardiola is coming in as Fergies #2!

  72. FletchTHEMAN says:

Fred, I am not worthy! Cheers ;)

  73. Cyril Sneer says:

Nelson Oliveira is the Benfica guy they were saying plays like Cantona in the last game. Guess who his manager is? Jorge Mendes!

Just a matter of time before the United rumours begin :)

  74. Cyril Sneer says:

I meant his agent of course :(

  75. DEVILisRED says:

Glad we got rid of CR7, he’s shit. Lol

  76. Fred says:

    Deary me.

  77. jeet says:

    It IS polemic

  78. Fred says:

Ronnie you fucking pleb. Dear oh dear oh dear.

  79. FletchTHEMAN says:

Bentner ties it up 2 minutes for Denmark after Ronnie misses a clear chance.

Peter Schmeichel predicted this 10minutes ago. Ronnie will be the goat if Portugal fail to come back.

  80. parryheid says:

    Holy shit Ronnie that’s Baaad.

  81. Fred says:

Ronnie already is the GOAT. 8)

  82. Fred says:

    VARELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  83. Fred says:

    FERGIE FERGIE SIGN HIM UP

  84. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Varella saves Ronaldo and Portugal

3-2 87th minute Portugal v Denmark. Schmiechel will be gutted

  85. thedonmassawe says:

Ronaldo has not improved in terms of being a better teammate. It seems its always about him, he didn’t even seem to care they just pulled ahead

  86. Costas says:

    Nani is no Hazard though.

  87. thedonmassawe says:

    BTW,

    Nani! Bumaye!
    Nani! Bumaye!
    Nani! Bumaye!

  88. CedarsDevil says:

This is a fucking good game

  89. WillieRedNut says:

Nani you silly bugger! Had him to score anytime……..still not as bad as Fred’s boy, Ronmissio! :P

  90. FletchTHEMAN says:

    FT 3-2 Portugal v Denmark

EURO2012 GroupB is setting up nicely. 3 teams on 3pts.
All 4 teams could be on 3pts if Dutch beat Germany.

But for now. Nani and Ronnie >>>>> Bentner and Agger

  91. slim says:

can’t fucking stand Ronaldo. I have to admit.preening around like a cock. I’m glad we’ve seen the back of him. won’t be any better than we’ve seen already.

  92. Costas says:

Ronaldo has proved that the big stage doesn’t faze him, but he doesn’t seem to get going in these big tournaments. Messi had the same problem 2 years ago in South Africa. As good as these players are, it just goes to show that they are not the same if they are not surrounded by top class players (Nani excluded in Portugal’s case).

  93. slim says:

    famous last words

  94. thedonmassawe says:

    @ slim

I would have to admit it too, Ronnie gets to me at times. I don’t dislike him but he makes it easy for me to find him extremely annoying. We give Nani hell for his decision making ability in my opinion Ronaldo is just as bad only that his selfish moments pay off more often than not.

  95. CedarsDevil says:

All over the place here right now, but come ON Robin, put them Germans to the sword

  96. King Eric says:

Cedars – Good thanks mate. How are you?

Samuel – Hello pal. I agree. I would like to think Powell WILL get some game time next season and train with the first team. A biggish lad too for 18. How tall is Gill. About six foot fucking 8?

  97. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Clint…..
So you are saying “Ronaldo = £80m” was good business eh….?!

    Fergie knows best eh!

  98. CedarsDevil says:

Come on Holland, for fucks sake!

  99. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    Fletch

But we should have got more for him, around £120m overall in add ons 8)

Ronaldo is still a great player and experienced but I do not see a progression in his ability, just more experience, he still hasn’t learnt certain aspects of being a winger which is why Nani is having more chances to play his way on that right side for Portugal.

Ronaldo left us at the age of 24 ! His education was not complete and it’s his loss, he’s 27 and is still playing like the 24 year old, by this age, at United, he would have become even more complete, won more leagues and Champ League at least twice imo and would have ovetaken Messi in 2010.

I reckon he won;t regret the madrid move, but individually he should because of what he will have lost education wise from his game.

Like Academic education, people that wasted theirs often would go back in time to get a 2nd chance, If Ronnie is smart he’ll feel the same at end of his career

  100. Mikekelly12 says:

Come on Germany! My father land!! I’ve gone for 1-1.

  103. fergie is the boss says:

Clint-Iamyourpapii – the summer of 2010 would have been the right summer for ronaldo to leave, but it was ronaldo’s decision, he wanted to leave. A shame we never got the best years out of the guy. And the fact the money we got was has useful as an appendix

  104. keano99 says:

A bunch of bouncing Busby Babes, they deserve to be nighted…..

  124. Mikekelly12 says:

So if he’s so great, where is this Strootman fella?

  125. james21 says:

    Clint
    Is that true?
Can’t say I was really a fan of his but his late goal against Villa, I’ll always thank him for when the Scousers had won the day before at West Ham, when their deluded Job Dodging fans were singing We’re gonna win the league. :D
    Good luck to him.

    Cedars
RVC is letting his old Dad down.

  126. CedarsDevil says:

My son has not been subbed!!! Do not hit me when I am down, do not kick me in the balls when I am injured…..Fuckers the lot of you!! ha ha ha

    Jimmy James

Cheers mate, great to be back……I think!

  127. cubs says:

  128. Mikekelly12 says:

    Willie
Been shite today! After my great start I went for 2-1 Portugal and 1-1 Germany. Still top of my predictions league though!! Won’t end 2-1 thats for sure…. F’sho

  129. cubs says:

  131. cubs says:

Nanni did look like he was crying. DVR

Hello to all, who use their pennis to cheeck the depth of their buddys but.

  132. Cyril Sneer says:

@James – It’s basically a loan deal with an option to buy after a year. It’s appearing in the Turkish newspapers. Apparently they’re calling him the ‘new Les Ferdinand’

  133. cubs says:

Cedars the great Tree, your dick welcomes U back! NOT IN A SEXUAL WAY. Closed mouth cheek kisses and hugs bud.

  134. Panderi says:

Who the fuck is Sebastian Schweinsteiger? :D

  135. CedarsDevil says:

    My Dick

    Ha ha ha ha

  136. WillieRedNut says:

So Mikes part German, Cedars is part Mancunian? That’s ok, I’m fluent in Vodka! :D

  137. Mikekelly12 says:

    Willie,
I’m one part Guinness, one part schnapps and two parts boddingtons!!
    Cedars
    One or two mate…
    Clint
I believe they asked for Fabio AND Rafael too and they were told to fuck right off!!

  138. Cyril Sneer says:

Oi, sort it out, I’m not Clint

He’s the one who’s everyone’s Papii. I’m the one who writes crap stories and wants to sign Strootman solely on his brilliant name.

  139. Mikekelly12 says:

    Cyril
My bad pal. Bleeding predictive text!!! So this Strootman fella?

  140. james21 says:

    Cyril
Better than the new Heskey. :D

Now his daddy is proud hay Cedars. :)

  141. CedarsDevil says:

    Get in there SON!!!

  142. WillieRedNut says:

    Game on! RVP!

  143. Cyril Sneer says:

@Mike – not a problem mate, just kidding. I think Strootman plays the same position as Van Bommel and is a young guy so probably wont get game time against Germany. I read somewhere he’s getting compared to Roy Keane (can’t be a bad thing… can it?)

Just another one of those rumoured ‘starlets’ but MG and I like him for his cool name.

  144. WillieRedNut says:

    Told ya? 2 1!

  145. CedarsDevil says:

    Mike

Your part schnapps?? We must be related mate!!

  146. Cyril Sneer says:

@ James – If he’s going to be Les Ferdinand he has to play for 100 different clubs and learn to fly a helicopter :)

  147. WillieRedNut says:

Why is Clint in a bad mood? ;)

  148. Cyril Sneer says:

He’s upset cos nobody likes his new article on Agent of Fergie

    http://www.agentoffergie.com/2012/06/enlightenment.html

  149. james21 says:

    Cyril
    :D

    Willie
We’re all in bad moods, not enough sunlight.

  150. cubs says:

Great start to the summer as far as new signings go sad about Keane.

FNG’S look great, Kagawa and Nick. Who if anyone is next?

  151. WillieRedNut says:

Arry Redknapp is gone! Where’s MG? :D

  152. FletchTHEMAN says:

HarryRedknapp gone from Spurs according to Richard Key’s

    Supported by BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18418066

  153. james21 says:

    Cyril
I have just realised I addressed you as Clint, not sure why, Sorry. And to think I used to watch the Raccoons too. :)

  154. Cyril Sneer says:

Muller: Hey Sneijder can I have your shirt?

Sneijder: Sure, 800 euros and it’s yours.

Muller: 800 euros?! You’re joking man!

    Sneijder: Wesley does not joke.

  155. Mikekelly12 says:

So has Harry left spurs then. That’s what I’m hearing?

  156. Cyril Sneer says:

@James – not a problem mate, you were just distracted by that bright orange kit on the screen. Makes our tablecloth kit look tasteful….

  157. james21 says:

    Arry for Shitty. :D

  158. Cyril Sneer says:

He’s not gone, but they haven’t offered him a contract extension yet. People on Twitter started rumours about him quitting but he’s denied it. No reason why he should quit when he can ‘do a Rafa’ and let them buy him out his contract if need be.

  159. james21 says:

    Cyril
I think its lack of Old Trafford Itus. :(
Oh and seeing Sniejder play for another team. :D

  160. cubs says:

I love fried Potato’s uuummmme to much salt and catsup, ketchup either way it is good.

  161. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    I’m angry too…..call me Cyril !
 Clint …. I found out what was actually said !

Muller: Hey Schneider, didn’t you play for Germany in 2002?

Sneijder; No, that was the Deutsch Schneider !

Muller: No ! Really? You are pulling my leg?

Sneijder: No I am Dutch, Dutch not Deutsch !

Muller: Eh Bernd, I always like your sense of humour.

Sneijder: Nein Nein Nein Nein NEIN I am Vesley !

    :P

  162. Mikekelly12 says:

    James
What?? Sneijder signed for us last year didn’t he?? I could have sworn I read it somewhere. Who was I singing about last year at OT then ?

  163. WillieRedNut says:

Those fucking Red Letters? Change yours to blue, Papii?

    2 1, Germany! My word people, my word……. ;)

  164. dannysoya LOVES SIAN MASSEY says:

Seriously I know I might be sounding like a bit of an idiot but I would not Mind us going for Sneijder again as long as its at the right price. He is the hub of the dutch team. If not for the horrendously bad finshing from the dutch attackers Sneijder might already be out of sight in the assist column for this tournament. He has already created 16 chances in two games for RVP, Robben, Affelay and Co. I bet you if Rooney was latching on to those balls he’d put in at least 4 of 5. Just my two cents on our next target.

As for Nick Powell he is a superb player isn’t he? Two-footed, incredible football brain for an 18 year old. Looks like just the right player for us. Looking forward to seeing him in a few games next season.

  165. WillieRedNut says:

Looks like arry is gone. Rafa is one of the favourites! Please let it be….. :P

  166. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

Always knew you were a genius mate

  167. Mikekelly12 says:

    Dannysoya
I hear what you’re saying. I’m a great admirer of Sneijder, even had the pleasure of watching him live in the last Euro’s when he tore France apart, but he had the opportunity last year and blew it with his wage demands. His price might drop but bet your bollocks his wage demands won’t. No second chance for me.

  168. james21 says:

    M19ke
You’re in SAF Stand. No one sings in there. :P

  169. WillieRedNut says:

Cedars – All thanks to you mate! ;) You taught me well…..

  170. Costas says:

    Haha. Fuck off Harry. :D

  171. Cyril Sneer says:

Bloody ABU conspiracy! They can’t sack Arry, I need him for my blog. Seriously they already screwed me over getting rid of Kenny.

There is absolutely nothing even vaguely entertaining about Brendan Rodgers. Get rid of Arry and I’ve got nothing left!

    Dibble my dobble. :(

  172. fergie is the boss says:

Mikekelly12 – I think kagwa is the WS signing, he can match him on goals assists and ability to go box to box, all this with less wages and transfer fee. What we need is? a player like a scholes long term, who can hold onto the ball, and make those long range passers to our forward line

  173. FletchTHEMAN says:

Think I just heard Joel Glazer laugh for the first time:

    Fan on Twitter
“EPL win new TV deal for 1B/year. That must mean ticket prices will be coming down!”

    Joel

  174. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    Willie it is blue !
maybe your colour-blind you old dog !
    :P

    Arry on his depature:

“You Know Tottenham made a fantastic offer, it was difficult to to refuse, it was a dream deal, everything was sorted out, my future set in stone, my best boys tied down, everything was a done deal, I brought in tip top lads like Adebayor,Pienaar and Vertongehn and we were planning to win Europa league and finish 3rd.

But you know as soon as they offered the contract on the table, I couldn’t read or even make out the words on the contract, I’m a flaming mess without my accountant, I can’t do anything, it’s really embarrassing, I was shocked by the big words to be frank, it was all too much bureaucracy. It was too much too soon, I only just learnt how to spell Arry and Ello.

I couldn’t even sign the thing, I had to wait for my accountant but he’s in jail innit, so I had to quit because I am a mess, It’s ridiculous innit ! ”

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7811092/Redknapp-on-leaving-spurs

  175. WillieRedNut says:

Moyes is a heavy favourite? Some bookies have stopped taking bets. Unconfirmed reports have suggested, arry’s dog placed the majority of them….

  176. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Harry’s schedule

4:45pm Jun12 Seen entering Ladsbrokes location
5:05pm Jun12 Seen entering BetFred location
8:45am Jun13 Meeting with Levy lots of shouting heard
    9:15am Jun13 Leaves WHL Beaming

  177. samuel - united WE stand says:

Fantastic games today and what i’ve learnt is, some players completely transform on the pitch when they pull on their national team’s shirt. Bendthner gets ridiculed regularly but puts on denmark shirt and he causes havoc to opposition. Ronaldo rips apart teams regularly in la liga but looks devoid of ideas for portugal. I don’t know if it’s the pressure, his position on the pitch and the fact teams specifically target him or other unknown reasons. I thought he was poor today compared with his usual standard. Nani on the other hand yet again shows he’s a world class winger, some united fans must have lost the plot when they felt he should be sold. We should do our utmost best in order to get him signing a new deal.

All in all, portugal sneaked the win and on balance, they deserved it but major improvement is needed against the dutch. Defensively and attacking wise.

Germany look impressive. combining efficieny with flair. schweinsteiger really is an outstanding complete central midfielder, incredible that he previously played on the wings. Gomez firing them in, filled with confidence at the moment.

The dutch look in disarray and best illustrated by robben’s petulance. Van persie hit 30goals last season but can’t hit a barn door in this tournament but that lovely touch and goal may fill him with confidence.

  178. WillieRedNut says:

Everton deny Moyes is leaving. Come on now, it has to be wafa! ;)

  179. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Arry will probably take a year out and then accept the job for either England, Chelsea,Liverpool or Barcelona.

Meanwhile Pep Guardiola has emerged as favourite to be the No.2 to the new spurs manager …Joe Jordon.

  180. redangel says:

    didn’t you guys know?

  182. Sandeep1878 says:

  183. soren says:

    Great goals…Welcome Powell.
    Sandeep
Happy Birthday!! I hope you have a great day :)

  184. Sandeep1878 says:

    Soren,

Thanks a lot friend for the wishes :)

  185. Costas says:

    Happy Birthday Sandeep!

    Where’s the cake? :P

  186. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    Happy Birthday Sandeep!

Hope you’ll get a great birthday present if United’s match in Kolkata is finalized.

So, it is confirmed then. Redknapp is leaving Spurs. It really sucks. I mean, come on, the man has become the brunt of our jokes on ROM that we’ll find it really hard to replace him. Just ask Cyril. He has lost half of his source material with the departures of KK and Arry. Oh well, he still has Ladyboy and Woman-beater. What will MG do now? I would love to read what Arry thinks of his departure as written by MG. That would be pure Gold.

Secondly, is “Project” the new fad in European football. Why does everybody call the club they’re joining a fucking “project”? It is not a project you assholes, it is a club, a football club followed by countless fans. It is not a fucking “project” or play thing. Fuck me, I think if there is one term I hate in the whole of football right now, it is that one. Fuck you Mourinho for beginning this fad. Thank God, nobody related to United has used the word so far.

  187. Sandeep1878 says:

Thanks you very much reds – Costas and Balaji..

    Costas,

The cake is in the bakery ;)

Lol, sending you one through a sailor named Cedars :)

  188. Costas says:

No problem Sandeep. Us Geminis have to stick together anyway. :)

  189. Panderi says:

I wish Gomez was half as clinical as he was yesterday against Chelsea :(

Oh and Nani is shit.. Robben is world class.. Sell Nani, buy Robben.. :D We’ll then have a winger who only has a right foot and one who only has a left foot.. Deadly combination that. 8)

  190. Panderi says:

    Happy B’day Sandeep !!

    Balaji,
How about ‘Arry as Fergie’s new assistant ? :D I’ve heard Mickey Phelan is shit….

  191. Sandeep1878 says:

    Panderi,

    Thanks mate :)

and how about Mike Phelan to spurs, even Arry was shit at Spurs anyway ;)

  192. Devil310 says:

    Essien is available… :D

Too bad he’s knees are as reliable as Hargreaves’

He was a great player though

  193. Panderi says:

    Sandeep,

You’re kidding right? ‘Arry was tirrific at Spurs.. :D

  194. CedarsDevil says:

    Morning dip shits….

The league without Harry and KKK will not be the same, imagine if they both worked together at the same club!!!

    Sandy

Happy birthday mate, have a blast

  195. bayoRed says:

Soon Harry will be linked to OT seat! any bets?

  196. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Panderi, Haven’t you heard? Anyone we sign or anyone we already have is shit. Anyone Chelsea, City or Madrid sign and anyone they already have is the next coming of Jesus.

  197. satinoz says:

“There were [other clubs interested] but I have to say Sir Alex wanted Nick more than anybody else did and worked harder at it,” Gradi said.

“I was very impressed with the way Sir Alex went about it and what he said.

“If he was trying to sign me, I’d have signed!

“What Sir Alex has done is challenge the boy to do what Ronaldo did. Young players worry about their chances of playing when they go to United.

“But Sir Alex told Nick, ‘If you do well enough, you’ll get a chance. Ronaldo went on as sub [on his debut against Bolton] and was outstanding so I picked him.’ Nick has got to be good enough, first of all, in training to be named as a sub but that’s the challenge Sir Alex has given him.”

  198. CedarsDevil says:

    Balaji

You hit the nail on the head mate……….With average players like Carrick, Evans and Nani we will never move forward

  199. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Cedars, Sack Sir Alex. Get King Kenny as Manager and Ole Arry as his assistant. We’ll win the quintuple next season.

  200. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Excuse me while I go vomit and wash my mouth with the toilet cleaner and then vomit again and pour acid into my mouth.

  201. CedarsDevil says:

    Balaji

KKK with his plastic jacket will do wonders pal

  202. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Cedars, Yup, you look at King Kenny and you know the dude’s got style. With his jacket that says “I am King.” on the front and “Fuck My Arsehole” in the back. That is suave and stylish. You remember the match where Sir Alex wore trainers under his dress pants. I mean, come on, what was he thinking.

  203. CedarsDevil says:

Who the fuck are Man Utd, who the fuck are Man Utd, who the fuck are Man Utd when the REDS go marching ON ON ON

  204. CedarsDevil says:

    Balaji

Ha ha ha………On a similar note, you know that black jacket Sir Alex wears all the time? I have exactly the same one!!

  205. Dave Malaysia says:

@Balaji Sivaraman : Your new name is ‘Ball ji He Silverback ‘ ! U promised to change yer name as I

read correctly on another thread, someone call u out in it. Just helping mate with a new name .

Just use a bar or ayurvedic soap, no need acid or toilet cleaner.

    ——————————————————————————————-

Next May 2013 , we will be takling about our transfers in comparison to the sugar daddy clubs.

Points that will be raised: the player decided he wanted our club, he will be paid very well but thats not the players only objective .

the amount we paid will be compared to what we paid for Chicarito,Smalling for example.
Our 14 mil to 17 mil for a attacking midfeilder compared to 32 mil for hazardous material.

    by the way,

Yeah we cant move forward with average and shit players like Carrick and Evans..

for fuck sake, its high time we sold them go Sneidjer..;)

  207. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Dave, Holy shit! I thought everyone had forgot about that. If you keep quiet, I will smuggle Hayley from MG’s doorstep and bring her to you. Deal?

Anyways, technically, we finished level on points. So, I get to keep my name.

  208. Sandeep1878 says:

    ##

    Balaji,

    Trainers on dress pants,

Sir Alex came to the game right from Jogging :P

  212. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Sandy, Yup, that was the first time I’ve seen Sir Alex mess up his dress like that. It was pretty funny to watch him on the touchline in full dress, tie and all suited up with trainers for boots. That is an image I won’t forget pretty soon.

  213. Arjunited says:

    @Balaji,

I guess the Juventus-United match on August 1st is off. And Juve are playing a match on July 31st as well.

  214. kung fu king eric says:

its so good 2 av someone at the club who can take a shot and score from outsde the box instead of pussyfooting about with it like carrick or beat 6 men and side netting nani, come on nick powell make utd and england great again.
