Nice one Scott. Always loved Villa Park. The 2002 footage brought back vivid memories, which i presumed would have been deleted that day due to my mates insistence on plying me with innumerable ready rolled green "jazz fags." My memories of that day have now resurfaced: grizzled thirty something men dressed in black looking hard as f**k. Ole's first touch for the goal. The guy sat in front of me who looked uncomfortable like Kofi Annan. More memories were strirred of last seasons cup semi. On leaving the ground me and the same mate, minus the "jazz fags" he'd gone a bit loopy in '05, realized we were parked in the Watford car park. Emboldened by the fact that it's official that the hardest man to come out of Watord was Elton John, we struck up a chorus of "U-N-I-T-E-D United are the team for me etc.. A home counties Waford fan stated, perhaps fairly, "why are you singing that you've not played City today?" To which my mate replied "you could have f****ng fooled me." This is officially the funniest thing my match going mate has ever said.
P.S. Rafa must stay.
