So, we couldn’t care less about his off-field activities as long as he delivers the goods on the pitch. If he did this im the summer, it’s okay, but if this was done during this season, it’s wrong because he should be focusing on improving his poor current form. And by the way, calling someone a cunt for voicing their opinion makes you a bit of one as well.

Rio is doing off field stuff left right and centre and his form is taking a huge hit because of it , he has a back problem that keeps coming up and it maybe that he’s not resting it right due to time off from united is been takin up by it. if he stops this shit or calms down on it, because everyone needs a life, Then hopfully his form will hit the best of the last 2 seasons . . . .then people can praise him again

I mention before in the previous post that i still don’t think a person can do many things at a time. he juggles his magazine, movies, restaurant and other stuffs. Please concentrate on the club. I think he is old so he is prone to more injuries. If he don’t feel like playing anymore say now and Sir Alex will surely find a new replacement. I do find him hard to be the form where he is before due to age coming on him. It’s difficult for him to win young players like torres which is why i don’t blame him for his lack of pace to win the ball when we lost to them a few weeks ago. If had a lot if time please find some specialist and try to cure your back problem if it is painful or do some yoga to prolong your career like giggs.

Some of the guys here are right about Rio’s life. At a time his performance are down & make a lot of mistake, Rio is living his life of celebrity with rapping with Kano & making movie with Cashley Cole. Then some of the fans thought that Rio will come to Stamford Bridge not to play against Chels but to talk to Cashley about new movie or somethin’. You can do what you want with the time you have but when for a club like Manchester Utd , then you have to play with all your heart. If Rio’s want to become a celebrity then he can quit Manchester Utd & play for MLS for LA Galaxy.

This was in the summer, AGES AGO. His own time to do whatever he pleases. If he was playing like he was last season, everyone would probably be laughing. I thought Rio’s performance was embarrassing, but only in the way your mates can get embarrassing when fooling around and everyone laughs at them. We’ve all done it, some of us in tune, some not, but no-one gives a stuff.As for Rio, it all looked a bit Ali G , but any rapper namechecking Carl Perkins’ ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ and hymning up rock-n-roll is OK with me. Personally I’m not crazy about Rio’s flirtation with gangsta stuff, in photo-ops and in in other ways, but give him a break, he’s allowed to have some fun during his summer off-season. His form has clearly suffered because of long-term fitness problems, and there are legitimate questions about all his activities distracting him, but don’t give him a bum rap for this one too.

Although I have to disagree with the majority of you. This video isn’t the reason for his bad room, neither is the film premieres he’s attending, and neither is it from any of his off field activites and hobbies. He’s free to do what he wants to do in the holidays. We can’t tell him to stop having fun, or tell him to not get involved in movie-making. It’s his decisions and he’s responsible for the consequences, so why the need to insult him when he’s one of the most important players in our team. It’s because of his injured back, which has been a long standing problem, since last year. This is the reason for his bad form. In the games he’s played since that back injury he had to be careful to play safely so not to pull any of his back muscles to not make it worse/trigger pain. Apparently, he’s been told he might need surgery, and I think this should have happened time ago.
@King Eric – you called him a tosser and were – seemingly – flabbergasted that someone dare enjoy themselves. You can’t praise someone and then be relinquished of any criticism if you call them a “tosser”, it’s just plain stupid. You call him a tosser, I call you a cunt. I’m sure you’ll live with it.
