It’s a far cry from Drogba’s “disgrace” rant. It would be an absolute joke if he were to be fined or punished for this. But the way we’ve been treated the past couple of weeks I wouldn’t be surprised.
Great to see Rooney wearing the captains armband though. Aside from Giggs, I don’t think there’s a single person in that squad that cares more than he does.

How could the FA possibly charge Wazza for telling the truth? It comes to the point where the linesman is what 10-15m away from Terry tugging Valencia to the floor in the box and doesnt’f flag it up and even they cant deny Atkinson’s shirt was not black but just a very deep shade of blue.
Wazza was spot on, it was 11 against 12 at times – glad to see he won’t be punished for the comment though!

Carrick always seems to look more comfortable as part of a 3 man midfield aswell.
I still feel confidnet we’ll either win or be very close to the league this year. Obertan coming in and getting settled, Hargo coming back from injury, Then Ljajic and maybe Diouf in Jan, and Cleverly coming back from Watford where he has been fantastic. I Think all of these could play an important part in the season at some stage. WE just need to start scoring more consistently, which im sure will come, We always play better second half of the season anyway!

could’nt agree more wazza. the ref was shocking yesterday wazza was onside and the standard of refs is declining you don’t find many good refs in the prem. and when fergie tries to send his point across with the standard of refering he gets charged! is it me or are the refs conspiring against us after the sunderland game? whatever it may be it is sickening regardless of people saying we should’ve could’ve finished the game off and other previous games. we’ll never DIE!!

Title number 19 is the most important. The premier league trophy this season weighs gold to me, compared to the the european cup. I also hope we get to the final of the FA cup and manage to win it because there’s still players in our team who dream holding winning this trophy e.g Rooney. Aiming for the champions league trophy is too much, we’re probably capable of doing well in this competition but we should be focusing more on the league title, and keep in mind the european teams are stonger this year.

Sir Alex before the game said that we cannot let them lead by 5 points and that would be a big thing. I am concerned about that. Is 5 point that much of a lead to make up?
What is also concerning me is we are going to big games specially away ones like Anfield and last nite with a defensive frame of mind. Just a draw would be good and all that. This I think is resulting us not scoring too many and when we are conceding we cannot come back later(against manc was an exception).
When I look at the team these days I really do not see a natural goal scorer. Some one who can score any time in the match.
To be honest and practical I do not see us winning the league this season(at least on current form, both ours and the refs)
I would hate to see Chelsea win, but I would at least hope we start playing attacking football again.
We really need to score more and win with lesser teams with bigger margins, that will help us to get our self confidence back which I do not think we have now as much we would want to.
We really played well last nite, but from now on we will have to show that in spite of refs being against us we can still win matches and win the title.
The players owe it to us, to the manager and most importantly to themselves.

He probably shouldn’t have said it but common sense has prevailed for once judging by the FA’s decision not to charge him. They probably know how shite Martin Atkinson was on Sunday, how badly we were robbed and most likely don’t want to add insult to injury.
