Nemanja’s third must have been amazing to see in person…..
REPORT | United 3 Aston Villa 1: Rooney Scores As Reds Soar
http://www.theunitedreligion.com/2011/02/united-3-aston-villa-1-rooney-scores-as.html
Look at the finish from vidic thats a striker’s goal CLASS. Still 10 points of the retirement home in the plastic side of west london. Its looking good
great game fantastic goals. United rules.
He comes from serbia
Good to see Rooney getting back in there!
vidic’s goal was amazing but not as amazing as the first goal. What an assist from van der save, that was a midfield class.
- devil 310
i agree wit u brother. What is the state of anthonio valencia. I miss him.
Masterclass Performance! Hopefully this is strat of something fantastic from Rooney, also Vida scored a beauty! Wolves vs. Manchester United Saturday….letss av it!!! <—– RioFerdy5
Vidic what a goal! reminds me of Rio’s vs. the scousers
What excites me most is that we are firing on three major fronts and yet we still have NOT hit top gear! Rooney’s form isn’t 100% back yet and his touch is still absent… we played half a season without Valencia… our preferred midfield is not set yet and it’s influence has been somewhat non-existent this season… and Hargo is still missing!!!
I think if these four areas get answered soon… then God have mercy on the rest of the Premier League teams because I think we can crush them all, even Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
WR10s goals required great service. Take nothing away from him for the first. Great vision from VDS, but the prince formerly known as rooney had alot to do and the chip was pure pure class.
Second goal was a solid finish from the prince, but ooooomy, that cross from Nani was a peach.
Third goal was great forward play from the prince, holding ground and then returning the ball to Vida.
Captain Vida stepped in a fired past what seemed like the entire Vila team.
Loved the first, Friedel didn’t even look, knew he was done and dusted.
Loved the third, entire villa team knew they was done and dusted.
3 beauties earned us 3 beautiful points. Well done lads.
Hope Fletch is OK.
Carrick was a great today, as was O’Shea. Pitty both got slagged by some so called fans earlier.
5 points clear with 14 to play. Who could have predicted it would look this good.
Come On United.
am worried about how we gonna replace BIG Edwin… :’(
- saad
love ur comment.
I really loved the first goal and Vidic’s goal was fantastic you wouldn’t believe that’s a defender’s shot
but in United I believe that VDS can do that :p
I wish Arsenal and Chelsea games didn’t end like that but this season we really shouldn’t bother ourselves with other teams’ results and just focus on ourselves and winning
~Glory Glory Man UNITED~
Not sure how to respond, with the Goals.Nemanja’s was a class strike, from a central defender.A leader.
The pass from Edwin sublime, he will be sadly missed, to the wayward Lad. The Players reaction to Edwin said multitudes to me, “Dont Go” he is just what United are about. Rooney. He controlled the ball brilliantly, and banged it away. There is no denial in that, he could be a class act.
I just wish, in my heart, we could rewrite time.I am beginning to think, forgive and forget. Not convinced yet.Win us the Champions league,Wayne, you will be up there.
Why is it that Friedel always plays so awesomely against us??? We couldve had three more goals from Nani (2) and Rooney (1) but Friedel was just a beast again today against us.
I am lovin my white VIDA shirt!!! and what a goal by him, our captain <3
fantastic
FletchTHEMAN
Brilliant post as always mate and agreed on JOS, noticed his ‘Brazilian’ style chip and header in the second half? Class!
Wayne thats whats up… and its just the beginning, ….. skipper Vida> good finish.. ONE united!!!!!!
replacin edwin is gonna be hard, i just hope kuz n lindergad won’t be another howard and caroll- that will be a disaster. United rules

hammons says:
Nemanja’s third must have been amazing to see in person…..
It was hammon but then VDS’ pass to Rooney was awsome as was his finish.
Performances getting better and they needed to bigger tests to come and it looks like we prepared for them.
@ Scott, some thoughts…
Anyway of getting a comment rating system and leading to a ‘Best comment of the Year’ awards ceremony???? via live blog??? Some comments on here literally have me in tears of laughter!
Secondly, is there some comments per blogpage awards or (non-marketing) rewards for the likes of yourself. You must be on 200/page at least. other teams’ blogs are shamefully weak.
YOU ARE THE MAIN MUTHAFUCKING MAN!!!
That’s all.
Is it bad that I wasn’t happy when Rooney scored? Obviously I was happy we were winning….but I just wanted anyone but him to score. Can’t forgive him. I hope he finds top form so we can get a good price for him.
ps said what I thought about comments goals on prev thread but for what it’s worth. the gay comments were telling of their naive bearers
and the goals are fucking amazing!!
hope we take this form to away games too!!
@ Park life you are all a Blur mate, wanna enlarge? This is a United forum, were we try to talk English. Is that a tricky concept for you to understand?
Rooney back in form, is a warning to every one of our rivals. Wayne’s non celebration is a pointer, that he still knows, he’s got to build bridges with the supporters. He took his goals well. Nani and Giggs played a great supporting role, as usual. Great assist by Edwin and a nice touch by the players, to celebrate with him.
Rai
lol i think he’s here for the long haul now mate, maybe crucial to our 19th
He celebrated, just not extravagantly.
Devil is red 19….I know mate….I’m just a miserable bastard
Managers postmatch.
http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,12606_4171150,00.html
I missed all three goals because my stream stopped literally a second before the goal. So annoyed but happy we won.
The Spoiler has a selection of Giggsy’s best goals.
Legend. Wizard. Knight.
Oh joy. It feels so good being where we are right now and watching Rooney fire in that sublime pass from VDS nearly made me reach for the contents of my pants!! And that selfless ball back to Vida to fire that beauty through what seemed like the whole Villa team was pretty special. Even our defenders have it. Easily about 8 or so really good chances. That hunger is definitely there. Uncharacteristic defending from our rock solid centre-halves that cost us the Bent goal. Felt bad for Berb missing the conversion of that near ‘sitter’.
Two bloody injuries in as many games – Fletcher going off after 30 mins of play. Did Clark get booked for that arm in Nani’s face?!
Anyway, 29 games on par with our current record of being undefeated in the league is welcome fucking news. One love, one united. I love supporting this club!
Does ”Sir” Ryan Giggs ever get bored of being brilliant?
read a tweet that Hargreaves is in the 25man squad for the rest of the season.
“Howard Nurse
Great to see Owen Hargreaves named in #MUFC 25-man Prem Lge squad post transfer window. On his way back from hamstring injury. Good luck”
last chance?
@RedScot
“I am beginning to think, forgive and forget. Not convinced yet.”
I hope so! It’s about time. What’s the point in continuing on not supporting him. He’s worked his arse off since he got back from injury, and has been shunted out to right far too often. It’s not let him get into a run at all.
He was up top today playing with freedom, and deserved his goals. He played well tonight.
Lets get behind him, hopefully he will get on a run now. We need him to. Fergie knew that, we all know that, we just dont want to admit it.
And if he’s shit, and starts fucking about again, we can flog him to Real Madrid for £70m in the Summer, and buy Aguero for £35m.
Nani, Vidic and Giggs were exceptional again, whilst Rio and VDS were flawless.
The goal I was most happy with was the 2nd Rooney goal: it was just a simple tap in from a peach of a ball…. just like last season. They boy has still got it.
Vidic’s strike was one that said “HOW DARE YOU SCORE AGAINST US!”
Friedel always plays well against us for some reason – could have been a lot more and Wazza would have got his hat trick.
What people fail to understand is that this is the first game that SAF switched Rooney and Berbatov back to what they were last season – with Berbatov as a second striker and Rooney as our No.9 type player who got the goals – it suggests that either SAF does not have enough confidence in Berbatov to play him forward in squeaky bum time, or he thinks Berbatov’s all round game is better.
Either way, I would prefer Rooney remain as SS – he can link with the MF better and it keeps our pace high so we can dictate tempo.
Willie
Is that really you?
Not that Owen Hargreaves was brought on for 2 Minutes at Sunderland last season( and again this this season), for 10 minutes to appease the fans, Ohhhh We have a new midfielder, ffs 27 games for what was his price again? wake up smell the coffee.
Its called gubbing the seaaon ticket holder’s mate.
I can still see rooney being sold in the summer
If he does go, don’t expect a replacement.
Och Big Manc Red. you know how i feel.I made my feelings clear. He destroyed what i thought about United,He wrecked my love for him, not with the shit of the the park, i just dont like he reduced my hero to, almost tears, and placed in a corner. To me Sir Alex is United he, is just a cog. I will never forget that day mate, its just not how, I think..
I agree sell him, he has ruined what it mean ‘s to wear the United shirt.
All of them anyway are are all assets. its so bad, no emotion, no loyalty.
I personally blame, the Sun, and tits on page three, the worst thing ever.
RedScot
The Sun page 3? Arrrgghhhh (Ala Homer Simpson) LOL
The tits ain’t so bad…
Real ones are ok.
Lads its just my way Rupert Murdoch and moolah. All In cahoots. lol
Tits are cool.
Night lads now, remember , keep it Red or you are …… Effin dead
Rai, yes you. I’m talkin to you. The very first time you even question if you should celebrate a United goal you should fuck off elsewhere ok? There is no joke, no subtext here. You’re a plastic fan fuck off.
Aside from that, Scott the Red? You having that one? MOTM for me. I know you’re getting in the neck elsewhere because I have read it. You run not the best United fan site but the best fan site anywhere in the world for me. Please put this anti Rooney crap behind you and support the team as a whole. If that was a performance from someone who wants to join Citeh then I need to go and stand in a corner and punch myself in the face.
Three brilliant goals. 2nd wad great work from Nani, who had yet another off night but created a goal. 3rd was a stunning goal from a defender. Irwin like if I may be so bold. 1st, watch it again. Brilliant. VDS 60 yard pass. Amazing. Control, even better. Finish, even better.
Players! whats up? Get your brut, put some on and relax yourself!
@Red Scot
Is it not time to accept that football has moved on now, and sadly that loyalty to one club doesn’t really exist… Look at Andy Carroll for instance! If you don’t, you might start being accused of being a dinosaur stuck in the past alongside Keys and Gray! Lol, only joking.
I get your point, it’s annoying, it’s upsetting what he did. But if you only wanted players who would die for the club we’ll have nobody left! They would all leave if we didnt give them the money they wanted or deserved without thinking twice (by deserved I mean what someone of equivalent stature in world football is paid, or what someone else will pay them)
all banging goals!!!! nanis cross for the second was absolutely sublime!
Mes. Well fucking said pal. Its getting tiresome. He won’t go in the summer. Ya van see what it meant for the players. Someone said his touch aint back. Err well I must have been watching a different game. It was superb at times. What he did left a bad taste in everyones mouth but he is still wearing a united shirt and if fans want nineteen then get behind him. Look at the way he celebrated hernandez s winner on sat. Leap frogged over three rows of chairs. Make no mistake a rooney that looks like he is hitting stride for the run in is just what united need. His whole body and face look thinner. He looks fit as fuck. Nani was excellent and what can you say about giggsy. Fuck me. Great three points and well chuffed for vidic. Screamer.
Wayne Rooney has claimed that his decision to leave Manchester United is motivated by the club’s lack of ambition to sign the world’s best players.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed on Tuesday that the 24-year-old would not be signing a new contract and has expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford.
Ferguson admitted he was “bemused” by the news and accused the former Everton striker of disrespecting United, but Rooney was quick to defend himself against the Scot.
He also revealed that chief executive David Gill did not give him the “assurances” he was seeking “about the future squad” during negotiations over a new deal.
Rai
We make world class – we don’t buy world class – we may buy class though…
King Eric, you put it better than I can currently manage in my slightly inebriated celebratory state. Hats off. Top post. And for me, if there is a god, that amazing curling screamer from Vida should have won him some award of some sort at least. You know what’s good though, he’s a proper United player for me and would swap it in a heartbeat for number 19. Carrol can fuck off, Torres can fuck off. We’re starting to look really good. If only we had a midfield that could take control of games like tonight and everyone else would be discussing who is coming second.
Chin chin folks, I’m off to bed with yet another United induced smile on my face.
@Mes
Why don’t you fuck off?? I don’t see anything wrong with Rai’s comment, he was just being honest.
Wednesdayx. Yeah bit weird though not wanting to celebrate a united goal. As I say we all know what rooney put us through but we all know he is key to united despite some denying it and saying he is average. On forn rooney is unplayable as evidence tonight shows. I get fucking sick of reading comments slating servants like sheasy etc. Reading pre match comments and some of the shite people think. Saying we will be chasing the game cos sheasy is playing. It sickens me to be honest.
Oh and cheers MES pal.
fuck me that was a good cross by nani. and vidic’s strike was epic. rooneys first was well taken too. good goals by united
Even sky news wanking over rentboys like their result closed any gap. The headline read “chelsea SMASH four past sunderland“. While uniteds just said “united beat villa“. Then saying all this wiyhout torres. Fuck that tranny cunt. A ten point gap is a ten point gap and united aren’t some fucking ameteurs who are gonna throw that away. Experience is everything. You can see the hunger. Our lads want THEIR trophy back. Is torres gonna help them defensively where they are a fucking shambles? Is he fuck. Three sulking strikers. Great stuff. Watch tiny tears start giving it large now how we should be scared. Fuck off you cockney scum bastard. Also same old fabregas. He gets all these plaudits despite being the most sneaky snide horrible cunt in the modern game. They won’t have the balls for a title fight. Their arses will go when united turn up on their patch.
I said it before and I’ll say it again: Rooney’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, and I think he had his head turned by people who are only looking to stuff their own pockets and don’t give a fuck about him or our club. Anyway, interesting to see how SAF plays this, in respect to the positioning of Rooney and Berbatov. Once or twice today I could swear I saw them standing almost next to each other. Time will tell…
@King Eric Rai did not mention in his comment that he didn’t celebrate United’s goal, he just said that he wanted someone else to have scored instead of Rooney, lol
off the topics:
http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=1590330.html
Torres said he want to win with Chelsea but he already play in Europa League with Liverpool.
By regulations he cannot play for Champions League right?
Wednesdayx. Ha yeah just re read the post and you are correct. My apologies. Still happy wayne scored though that was more my point. Had to laugh at barnsley spurs and third team dippers darren fucking gough tonight. He noticed last asrenal game that their first eleven only cost forty one million. He actually said that if wenger were to win the leauge with such little spent he would SURELY go down as the greatest ever premier league manager. You could not make this up. Durhams a tit but even he put gough down and said it was ridiculous. How can he compare with fergie who has hardly spent big and sold the worlds best player. It is really amusing the shite the abu s come out with. Heard nowt but talk from every cunt on radio and tv that arsenal could win four trophies yet not once mention the small matter of united in the league and their barca tie. League cup at best and that isn’t a given who will be up against a tough brum side. Tossers the lot of em. In addition not once have they mentioned the fact that united could win a double or treble despite our pedigree.
http://www.hdfootballwallpaper.com/nemanja_vidic.html
Mes – you may have a point but try not to sound like such a cunt when you deliver it.
“Rai, yes you. I’m talkin to you.”
Sounds like something out of ‘Taxi Driver’ ffs.
And, unlike you, some people need more than one MOTM performance before they will start feeling the love for Rooney again. Doesn’t mean you can go around calling people ‘plastic’ fans and telling them to fuck off, then start telling Scott how he should feel and what he can write. From what I gather, Scott wants Rooney to do well and start banging in the goals as much as the next guy, he’s only been criticising him because he hasn’t been doing that (until now) which isn’t acceptable after treating the club with such disrespect and demanding such an obscene salary. Scott has also highlighted the inconsistencies in the treatment of Rooney and Berba by certain fans, which is a very good point considering Berba’s attitude towards the club puts Rooney to shame.
I will just add that I was thrilled that Rooney was back banging in the goals again today, but that doesn’t mean he is forgiven, just that he is on the right track to forgiveness if he keeps it up and shows some dedication. Until then he will have my support, just not my adulation.
I’ve admitted for months i’m not Rooneys biggest fan but for the good of Manchester United I hope i’m proved wrong by him in some way.
Weird to hear the ”white pele” song again……..not heard that one for a while!!!
A goal’s a goal, regardless of who it’s from. It’s not like Rooney’s doing it for charity, and it is way overdue as well. I was happy to see a goal go in, but that’s cheering for the club because we will maintain our lead. As a player for the club, Rooney has much to go, but that’s me. Some supporters forgive and forget more easily than others, and there’s no need to go around imposing your own standards on others.
I still remember, one or two corners before Vidic scored, I was thinking I haven’t seen a headed goal from him for a while, and his two arms flailing celebration… and he goes to score with a wicked strike, but only flailed one arm. Hah!
Oh, and the news about Hargs in the squad list is fantastic news. I really hope he gets a few games under his belt soon – he will be valuable to have available.
Against Crawley Town perhaps?
LOOK at that nani cross to rooney! beautiful! just beautiful!!!!
Nice to see Van Der Sar get an assist on the second goal. Hopefully Rooney can get on a streak. Would be nice to have two in form strikers for this last stretch of games, not too mention our super sub.
@Zalee
Nah, according to FIFA regulations, you are cup-tied only if you have played in the CHampions League for another club- Europa doesn’t count, so the LadyMan can and will play for the Rentboyhs in the UCL.
Rooney was brilliant…just makes me look like a fool for my comments on a previous post…..Hope he can continue banging it in…..Anyone knows when can Tony be back…..
a great read here IMO http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story/_/id/874458/richard-jolly:-manchester-united-party-like-it's-1999?cc=4716
i like how he compares Giggs of ’99 and Giggs of ’11. “Nostalgia can distort comparisons but a combined team would only feature Rooney, on last season’s form, but not on this. Vidic, Evra and Dimitar Berbatov have stronger cases, although it is a moot question which Giggs would be selected: the unreconstructed flyer of 1999 or the ageing but somehow ageless artist of 2011. While others are set on supplanting their predecessors, Giggs is about to win the battle with his own past.”
Relieved that Fergie picked the right team, right tactics and the team played brilliantly, minus that bent goal. This was a banana skin game,we managed it well,we won.
Rooney is back, finally. He has recovered and his performances have been getting better but not scoring from open play until last night. Shud have got a hattrick.
I hope Fergie dosent change too much for our weekend game.
Our ex.Manutd connections all scored against out rivals last night,Thank You, but thier teams cud not carry on till the end.
Moyes has made a serious allegation against cesc ,lets see where that goes!
I said it few times in here ,liverpool must keep torres ,it keeps both chelsea and liverpool off balance.
Look at the effect, chelski are lifted, mind u still leaking goals , but they r up, sunderland shud have wrapped it up , wud have too if it was the chelski of late.
The transfer madness ,chelki spent 70 + million pounds to get back into the game.
I want liverpool to win their battle against chelski this weekend. Do us all some good.
If jamie carragher is back for liverpool this weekend ,wud not surprise me to see him smack torres.
He does do it well ,those harsh tackles, without getting carded, play him and see what happens.
gerard may be next,he was close before and now he might just go in the summer.
Great, finally he’s scored. Loved Vida’s goal and the celebration too.
And wow, Berba looks like he’s gonna kill himself everytime he misses or fails to put a good pass to his teammate. Self-reproaching himself too hard me thinks. But that’s a great attitude too. Brilliant Berba.
@King Eric After a display from arsenal gough is talking shit. If Wenger wins the title and because he spent less on his squad, why would he “go down as the greatest ever premier league manager?” that doesn’t make any sense and he’s making a fool out of himself. It’s also a bit frustrating that United won’t get any mentioning or credit for the favorites either… why is that? It’s United against the world, then and If you don’t mind me suggesting, don’t read all the crap the abu’s write.
(well not during the mornings, anyway)
I think going forward, we just have to accept Rooney is on borrowed time, I don’t have any evidence for this just my feelings, the cheers for Giggs and Vidic where noticably louder and he would have heard that which must affect him (I don’t cheer for him either) so lets just get the 19th if he contributes till the end of the season I’ll applaud that, if he stays great if not at least I won’t have been taken in again.
Rooney has come out saying that we should be worried about Chelsea because they signed Torres. Now what does this mean?
Is he not confident of Rio and Vidic at the back to able to control Chelsea or do they lack ambition. The cunt scores two goals and now hes allowed to talk out against team mates again? Does he not believe that Carrick and Fletcher can cope with Chelseas midfield and break up any attacks that come Edwins way. He hasn´t got any belief in his ability to outscore the opposition. I think this is a clear message that he doubts his ability and he shouldnt play any part in the two Chelsea games. On with Chico.
GoatinaUnitedShirt – cant anyone give the buy a break. Like it or not chelsea can beat us. He only said down to earth comments chelsea may not be out of the title race. You are also failing to realise united still have some mega tough games ahead, ferdinand still has the habbet of misisng certain games, so why its fab united are on a great unbeaten run lets not go crazy by calling this a cunt that a cunt, because they could be a threat we do not know for sure. If torres remains injury prone then the threat is less, if he picks up form it is a real problem. We have also seen 2 of the worse chelsea sides challenge us for the title one in 2007/08 season, and the 2009/10 squad, so it is not out of the relms they could be back in the title race
King Eric – if we go on squad costs, united’s 99 squad cost less than 60 million
Zalee: Torres will be able to play in the Champion league.
Forget Carrick and Fletcher…the Chelsea games will be Anderson’s stage to announce his arrival. He will shit on Lampard, Essien, Ramires and Mikel!!!
Go United!
@fergie is the boss
Ive always disliked Players coming out and just saying shit to make themselves sound clever??. You dont need to state the obvious. All teams that have a mathematical chance is a threat as you never can know what could happen. I predict Torres will be an instant hit and I have little doubt that he will score atleast 10 league goals in the remaining 14 league games. He is at a team that likes to attack at will. Who here doesnt think Torres is a threat, who here thinks Chelsea isn’t a threat. Why do we have to hear a player who has utterly alienated himself from fans and possibly even some of his team mates (other players at OT – mates?) come out with obvious comments that CAN be missinterpreted or taken the wrong way as I pointed out. Why cant he score two goals and then go home and put his feet up, relax, sleep comfortably, love his missus, get up in the morning, eat a reasonable breakfast and get ready to go training and collect the admiration of his fellow professionals. BUT no the media machine that is Rooneys big mouth, has to say that we should be wary of Fernando Torres. Maybe he should have said Chelsea should be wary of Wayne Rooney. The cunt (as i quite rightly put it) had to make a comment that has endless conitations. Was it a dig at United for not signing someone after his ambition was matched by David Gills insistance on contract signing day that United are competitive in the transfer market and that the ambition of Manchester United shouldnt be in question. Was it a dig at his fellow players and the unlikelyhood of being able to cope with Torres.
@Saad
Im glad you have confidence in Andersson but is he alone in competing against Chelseas midfield. Your message contained that Andersson will deal with them alone? But yeah I hope Andos ready to do the job. I also hope Scholes is fit but it is recognised that the first choice midfield 4 seems to be Carrick Fletcher Nani and Valencia. Against Chelsea we will most likely play a midfield 5 with Rooney up front alone with Scholes or Giggs replacing Berbatov.
@fergie the boss
You also forget that this morning (Sir Alex) said that self doubt doesnt have a place at OT. So what is Rooney getting at. Was that comment from Fergie an attempted down play on Rooneys words to keep the mood at the camp upbeat. Rooneys word certainly sound of self doubt or doubts about team mates.
Dont get me wrong Im as mercenary as the next man. I will give a job to my enemy if he can make me a profit so I have no problems with Rooney playing and scoring goals for Manchester United. I just dont like the man. He should do a Solskjaer, do his job, score goals, keep it shut and go home.
Goatinautdshirt
Many of our players have made that type of comment in the past G Nev and Rio to name two, all he is saying is the bleedin obvious but its clear his intent is to focus attention on one of our strongest competitors, I agree with you there’s no need for them to do it but to initially berate Rooney alone is to suggest others dont do it.
Im my opinion Chelsea look stonger than City and given we still have to play them twice I think you can see our title in those two games though to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me if Chelsea save thier best for the CL, they now have a compliment of 4 strikers, two of which when on song are amongst the best in Europe and Anelka and Kalou pretty decent options.
What is encouraging is apart from Blackpool Rooney had been playing well and his 1st goal last night was as good as any I’ve seen him score at OT, even if I was at the other end.
@ Goat
Solskjaer and Rooney can’t be compared…..Solskjaer is twice the man
With regard to the coment about Rooney talking up Chelsea and Torres.
Give the guy a break, you are looking at it the wrong way….
I am sure Rooney of all people know we can get a good result off Chelsea.
The title race is far fro over.
You cant compare Chelsea players to our players, and it isnt what Rooney did.
Chelsea still have to play 15 other teams and Torres makes them stronger against those 15 as well.
The title isnt going to come down to Man Utd vs Chelsea and Chelsea Vs Man Utd… So its pointless suggesting that Rooney meant to de value our players in favour of Chelsea
Why compare Solskjaer to Rooney? the debate gets out of control not everyone that plays the game is a role model and I’m sorry to say this but just in case you haven’t noticed Rooney for all his other issues is a better player than Ole. Ole is a legend at the club for all sorts of reasons but right now I can see this thread going the way of many others re Rooney, time to move on.
He plays for us, he scores goals for us and while he does who cares, if he goes in the summer so what let him go but can we please stop the endless regurgitating of tired arguments.
Mattbw7 – It’s still fresh in some of our minds mate, we didn’t let Gerrard forget his transfer request, so should we do what the Liverpool fans did and adore a man who was ready to turn his back on our club?
Any one else feel Rooneys celebrations last night lacked the passion we saw last season. I thought he’d roar with relief after scoring, but he barely aknowledged the fans in my opinion.
Nemanja played like a beast last night!
Whats that coming over the hill IS IT NEMANJA!! IS IT NEMANJA!!
NEMANJA OOH WOOH OH, HE COMES FROM SERBIA………..
Did I say that Rai, no I didnt what I said was nothing will change between now and the end of the season if it all, so all the endless to and frowing gets us nowhere, did I say we should love him, no I didin’t I stood there last night and applauded the goals for the team but not for him when his name was read out.
He is playing well and he scored last night, if he contributes to the 19th and moves on whatever, all the bellyaching between now and then won’t change anything, UTD are bigger than any one player even Rooney, so I don’t like him but he’s still doing a job for us isnt he?
We still dont let Gerrard forget his transfer request which is a bit emabarrising to hear our fans sing given recent events but thats some fans for you.
Team performance from back to front great joy.we’re starting to express ourselve’s.
Don’t get why all of a sudden rent boys are considered contenders their not.
There’s 3 teams ahead of them, for chelsea to win all 3 teams would have to puke, gunners only team that can win this apart from utd.I think what’s amazing me the most is the main reason for this supposed re surge will be because of the torres signing.this guy hasn’t played well for close to 2 seasons he’s always getting injured paying 50 for him is just fucking desperate.rent boys have way more problems than needing a striker.rent boys have no fucking chance of winning the prem I’m sick of hearing about it already
Nothing more needs to be said Parryheid, though some people are never satisified, all the talk pre match was about animproving Aston Villa with absolutley no comment about our recent improvement, with the media preferring to focus on the Blackpool and Southampton games, fools the lot of em!!!
Fuck sake. What is Rooney gonna say? No Chelsea are shite and no threat?
Torres will NOT sort out the Rentboys lack of quality width or piss poor defence and a shaky Cezc.
wayne – Morning mate and spot on pal. Do people REALLY think United are that amateurish to throw away a TEN point gap at this stage? Are they fuck. The dippers will beat them on Sunday.
Great couple of goals for Rooney (though the assists were magical) and an absolute belter from Vidic. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad for United that Rooney is seemingly firing again (though one game is waaaay too early to judge), but a part of me will always hate the twat, and another part of me will always think that the people chanting “ROONEY ROONEY ROONEY” are as bad as the morons who chanted “Fergie, Sign him up” about Tevez over Sir Alex’s post season speech.
Chelsea are shit but they are still a shit threat
Torres will give them a lift no doubt aout it – What Rooney said was correct – let’s hope we blast them to pieces but I have a theory
The scousers will be up for it on Sunday – that’s what Torres has done to them – maybe opened them up a bit with his attitude towards his now ex team
All I can say is we carry on regardless…
Last time we had this unbeaten stastistic we won the treble.
King Eric – what makes me laugh is, rooney can only blow his nose now and he is called a fucking TWAT. He is a united player and his form will be gigantic in our quest for record title number 19
@james – To Rooney’s credit I think is lack of celebrating is because he realises a) he’s been shit and b) he’s pissed off a lot of people. He knows it’ll take longer than that until he’s giving back what United deserve from him. He could have gone around going mad to FINALLY score at OT – but he’s probably still pissed off that it’s been 10 months since the last time.
You saw the same with Valencia at the start of last season (for different reasons), he didn’t celebrate because he felt he hadn’t proved himself enough to run around celebrating like mad – it was just a start and he planned on giving United a lot more than a few early goals.
@King Eric morning mate yeah its getting on my nerves. if utd ave 2pts per game rent boys pretty well have to run the table,I wasn’t having a dig at rooney although it would’ve been nice if he had said chelsea have no chance, its all the other fucking muppets,so called experts who are having a wank fest over the torres signing
King Eric says:
“Fuck sake. What is Rooney gonna say? No Chelsea are shite and no threat?”
-No he says “My mind is focused on how I play for Manchester United and Im only concerned with how my club performs and with luck win a few trophies”. Does that answer you King Eric.
Rai says:
@ Goat
“Solskjaer and Rooney can’t be compared…..Solskjaer is twice the man”
-I dont disagree with you that Solksjaer is twice the man and thats what Im driving at. Those that defend his pointless ramblings that unintentionally have undertones are those that passively stand by as things around them change for the worse. The words used have undertones BECAUSE of what he said previously (during contract saga) without thinking. Anyone ever heard of think before you speak?, How about if you havent got anything intelligent to say then keep it buttoned. These sayings are there because of the experience of mankind.
Rooney can be (from now on) as much a gentleman and respected as Solksjaer, its up to him and nothing in stone is written that he has to continue being a limelight hugging tosser. Isnt 200000-250000 a week enough to say “hey, Im earning enough, I dont need to Beckham and make sure that the Rooney brand is quoted on every subject on every back page every day”. If its not can he give it back and piss off. Im not saying he isnt a good player but I expect nothing but perfection or as damn close to it as you can get for his 100% pay increase. 2 goals every game to the end would just about keep me quiet for that type of money.
We have two of the best forwards playing up front for us .let’s just enjoy it
Im not worried about Torres and Drogba combo as we nullify that threat by having Rooney and Berbatov. I dont think Chelsea will win trhe league or be particularly any threat this year. As for the games against Chelsea its advantage United. We are 10 points ahead and its them that need to attack. Its them that have to take the game to us and if they are close games and they win one and we win one, no ground is made up but two of the remaining 13-14 games would have been played.Even now if United keep winning and Chelsea have bum twitching games like last night and actually go on to lose one then the gap is over 1 point per game to make up. I have no worries and Im 100% confident of No19 this year because we have a similar group of games coming up like we had in ’99′. We have Liverpool, City, Chelsea twice, Marseille twice and two games against whoever in the following round. Its games one after the other against top opposition like ’99′ keeps you on your toes and every match is something to fight for and plenty of motivation. I dont like it when we have a dogshite of a team on the saturday and 10 of the 11 players are thinking about the coming Wednesday against Bayern Boxhead or Real Madras only to lose the easy match.
Rubbing my hands together dreaming of beer and success.
bigphil2003 – fair point I suppose. I just hope he’s turned a corner now, he has played confidently recently, with the exception of Blackpool.
I hope Fernando Torres scores on Sunday and a mass riot ensues!
BYE BYE BYEEEEEE FERNANDO!
Goat, King Eric and others: My 2 cents – I am worried about Torres in Chelsea, I am worried about Drogba in Chelsea (who wouldn’t), but I am not worried about the Drog+Torres combo. Both are very similar players, out and out strikers, who do little else other than score (not a bad thing, by the way). Imagine having 2 Chicariots in the team. Who’s gonna feed them? If Chelsea thought of Torres as a long term replacement for Drogba, that’s one thing, but if they are thinking that nine women can make a baby in one month, they are fucking wrong. If anything, they should have bought somebody who can offer alternatives to either of lampard or essien – they get so fundamentally fucked when they dont have that combo in midfield, its funny, but only for their rivals. Am I underestimating them? Heck, no – I would say that even Wolves are a threat, every freakin game is a threat that has to be subdued, and that’s nothing new. Can we beat them? Heck, yes!! Contrary to what CLLC may think, we arent shaking in our boots. Quietly confident, is the phrase, I believe, and that’s exactly the way to go about it.
Thank you StR for deleting the false ‘Costas’ comments.
Can we take it that the glitch has been resolved?
We look forward to the ‘Return of the Costas’

Quick reaction to Rooney scoring and the United match if any of ye care to read.
Great performance yesterday we have to keep winning these types of matches because we have some massive fixtures coming up which will define our season!
In regards to rooney from my point of view its nothing to do with forgiveness, just see him in a different light.his ambition comment, desire to leave and the massive paycheck is how he should be judged.he created the pressure and situation can someone please tell me why he deserves a break.he turned this into strictly business so isn’t that how he should be judged?
Rooney Restores The Faith In Him

SmartAlex is dead. Long live ————–???
The first one to get it right, wins and exclusive sniffing session with the Goat’s unwashed-since-he-reached-puberty knickers
@GoatinaUnitedShirt
i am sorry to disagreed with you here….like anyone else that supported this club i also has lost the love for Rooney…but come on,he just said that we should be worried…he doesnt point out that all the team not good enough to face Chelsea…sometime worried should make us cautious, its not a bad thing…
we all know that we had been poor in display apart from our league position…so maybe its time to step up…
the glass not always half empty bro…
My guess is Eliminate Duplicity Now! Jeet, in honour of your deductive skills, you may collect
First Prize!
Rooney will NOT be on 250 large a week.,
@berbatov9
Your wrong the glass is always empty. If you have adifferent opinion then as a fellow United fan and brother please send a donation to fill my glass.
Maybe I am a bit tough on Rooney, but its going to take a little longer then a few games a couple of goals to change my opinion. I like many (not all) hold grudges and dont forgive easily. Im still bitter towards the French for the invasion of Sussex, and dont get me started on the boxheads. Ok Rooney didnt kill anyone but he broke our hearts. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh booooo hoooooo, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh the humanity, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh boooooooo hooooooo hoooooooo – I need a drink – send donations now – must have booze.
Just watched some Chelsea fans being interviewed outside the Stadium of Light post their game with Sunderland. I do not mind their comments about still being in the title race, I would say the same if the positions were reversed BUT calling us poor this season, lucky, how on earth are we top was a bit pathetic….
If we have been so poor, so lucky yet we are ahead by 10 points than what does say about Chelsea??
james – I most certainly do not hope the tranny scores on Saturday. I want the dippers to smash the Chav cunts.
Yaah Roo is back
Rooney is using text book reverse psychology, so I don’ know why people are getting their nick knacks in a twist over his comments. For the record, Chelsea are the team, I’d worry about, more so than City and Arsenal. They’ve got the experience of winning leagues, the other two don’t have that experience. Torres will boast the rent boys, but it doesn’t mean they’ll claw back 10 points. As someone pointed out, United have still got big games to come and we can’t get over confident, but stay focused and keep winning games.
Good day CedarsDevil, King Eric, Goat ,Jeet, wayne, RyanDunny, MG, Mattbw7, RoM.
Manchester United, onward and upward, we walk alone. The madding crowd of opponents and media can hype each other as much as they want, or think they need. No matter.
We will be Champions!
Willie
I fully agree mate, Arsenal will not last the pace and hopefully we can rub it in their face at the Emirates, same goes for Shitty when we roll them over at OT…
Funnily enough though every ‘expert’ pundit seem sure that Chelsea will take 6 points of us
we will win 10 out of our remaining 14 games drawing 2 and losing 2, taking us to 86 points, chelsea have to then win 14/14 to match 86 points, that aint gonna happen, arsenal will balls out as usual. you heard it here first.
for 19
Good day to you too smartalex.
Just watched extended highlights of our match last night…..
Carrick & JOS were bloody terrific……… Giggs, how does he keep doing it?……Nani man of the match for me……….. Vidic is a MONSTER……. And lastly I just love how Rio celebrates every time we score
@willierednut
Its ok mate I too was using reverse psychology and criticising Rooneys reverse psychology thus straightening out the psychology and my knickers to boot that smartalex has auctioned off without the decency to tell me in advance. Now with my knickers untwisted and winging their way to Jeet as we speak I can resume my reverse psychology and not have a drink. Hang on thats a lie, or was it, is this psychology, am I nuts?,am I in a bowl beside my half empty glass, will I eat me after I swig another gulp of beer. If I dont eat me someone else is going to have to because without my knickers my bits are cold and look like a stack of coins. Not enough to pay for the beer and the landlord has just looked over and hes frowning. I dont think he likes the fact that I seem not to have the ability to pay but then maybe he should turn up the heating.
Good day Ulster Red and willierednut!
Ulster Red, your accent is so thick, how could we not know where we heard it?
Hi there smartalex, you seemed to be away for a while, I hope all is well buddy
Furthermore, Chelsea have cashed their chips in, with signings of Torres and Luiz, but we’ve got the ace in the pack, SAF.
smartalex
hello mate, did you hear it? well fella its gonna happen
All is well CedarsFriend, thank you!
Goat – My head hurts lol.
WOO!!!!!!! ROONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!! (for the night!)
Willie
Loved that ‘poker’ comparison mate, make mine a straight flush, ace high and with the red of hearts..
That would do me
@ Redscot, don’t you start. most of ye scots sound like you’re speaking Mongolian when ye attempt engllish
Goat: With my newfound Berbapowers, i am going to flick the winged misile from sweden right into the onrushing nostrils of smartalex!
Goat
Hilarious as ever, cracked me up…lol and to answer your question, YES you are nuts and we love it!
Keep it up mate
Ryan Giggs was fired up. Even more so than his recent Fiery-Red-Devil approach.
Being voted by the fans as United’s Greatest Player went to his head, long may we benefit!
There is no more confident player in the world right now, than our Dimi and Ryan.
Total self belief, ala-Ronaldo, without the preening. And in Giggsy’s case, without the pouting.
smartalex – You always start with a quip, that’s how I know It’s you lol. @Cedars Good day mate?
Jeet .Transfer Window is closed, you won’t get me!
Hoo Flung Nikas will have to hold tight until June.
I am with Goat on this one. He is planting doubt, where is his defiance. Patrice should lend him some of those dvds to show enable him know what Manchester United is all about. Even Munich didnt stop us from getting to the FA Cup finals though we lost but if that isnt defiance in the face of adversity then nothing is.
Willie
Great day mate thanks, what better than watching highlights of our win and brilliant performance?
Live United, breath United
The Daily Mail have gone all Bolton Wanderers, and decided that if you’re black then you must be Chris Samba.
http://i53.tinypic.com/295abzo.jpg
Rooney has no need to talk United up, we’re top and unbeaten. As the banner says, Not arrogant, just better!
King Eric – don’t get me wrong my friend, I want to see a draw! I would love to see scousers crying more than anything though and Torres scoring will see something kick off. All the scousers I know are talking about throwing their shirts on the pitch, I advised then that they’d have nothing to wipe their arses with then!!!
From Uniteds point of view do we want a draw, or dare I say it, do we actually want the dippers to win as to ensure Chelsea aren’t in the title race? Thoughts please!
Fernando Torres is our mate, is our mate, Fernando Torres is our mate, HE HATES SCOUSERS! hehehe
It seems that’s all city and the rent boys do talk, have to disagree with a few comments, think gunners are utds only threat, they do have the easiest run in.utd would have to implode for city or chelsea to have any chance assuming both teams keep winning
Can’t see Arsenal lasting the pace, they always bottle it.
Lads being asked to contribute for a book and I was thinking of using this article with a few changes…
http://ryandunny.wordpress.com/2010/08/04/98/
If your a United fan not from Manchester its more for your eyes!
CedarsDevil – A little dickie bird told me it’s your birthday?
Fabianski seems to be out for the rest of the season.
Arsenal fucked up again.
Willie
How on earth did you know that?? It is actually
Thats really cool, Ryandunny! Good job!
BTW about Rooney: dont worry, I’m sure soon enough he will be presented with opportunity to show his true colours… And it will be up to him, I hope he will manage to reestablish himself as a manc, but I cant be sure right now. Yet, I’ll support him, especially after such a performances. Because there’s no doubt we’ll need him. And I guess Berbatov will have something to do with his eventual reabilitation. Because Berba is definetely a 442 striker and he NEEDS a world class partner. And also it seems Sir Alex himself put on a lot of weight in that partnership, which was not the case prev. seasons…
CedarsDevil – I’ve got magic powers lol. I noticed your user name in the forum, happy birthday mate.
I can’t celebrate Rooney’s goals like I used to before I would of jumped up and down like a crazed nutter but now it was very, very tame.
Willie
Cheers mate, I actually forgot about the forum registration.. I never post there. You had me worried for a minute ! lol
Thanks for the wishes buddy, seems I have a ‘surprise’ party coming up! lol
Goat – Classic at 13.22.
Cedars – Happy Birthday mate!
James – No as much as I despise the fuckers they are no threat mate. A scouse win all day long for me. Just to see that trannys fucking face. But then it would be great to see the dippers faces if Torres does score and it all kicks off. Hhmm tough one. No definitely a dippers win.
I think Torres has been a fucking disgrace. His move to the rentboys was always on as thats the only game he turned up in this season. But then he always does. To say it would be his destiny to score against them 24 hours after leaving is a shite thing to do in my opinion. Funny laughing at the mickey’s though!!
King Eric
Thanks for the wishes mate
Seems if the rentboys win their cup replay against Everton the game against us will be put back till 2 or three games before the end of the season.Anyone know about this.if true I like this.
King Eric @ 15:28: “I think Torres has been a fucking disgrace. His move to the rentboys was always on as thats the only game he turned up in this season.”
What I find curious about the ABU press is that they seem to think that because the LadyBoy ONCE got the better of Nemanja Vidic (several years ago) that he ALWAYS had his way with UTD’s defence. It’s not true – and their wishing for it to be so doesn’t change the facts but, like the FSW, they don’t let the facts get in the way of “fachts”.
Mostly, though, I ignore the ABU press – except when they’re having to choke on their own bile. Otherwise, they simply can accept the fact that “Not Arrogant, Just Better” is a fair assessment of the dominance that UTD have exerted in the EPL since its formation – eleven (going on twelve) out of 18/19 is tough for them to swallow. It’s a joy to watch them choking. No need to take them at all seriously.
United made a signing after all in the transfer window !! – Rooneys ‘Mojo’
King Eric – I am sure he said he was a liverpool fan, they keep saying it is on his tatoo
torres 50 million carrol 35 million bolleteli 30 million dzeko 27 million chico 7 million
Hernandez would’ve cost a lot more, if United hadn’t of done the deal, before the WC. On the bitch, he gives Vidic the most problems, out of all the strikers, he’s ever faced. Vidic has played him well, the last few games, but he’ll still be a handful, when we face Chelsea.
@RED Dave
HA HA HA HA cheers mate.
United transfer activity
OUT: several young turks sent out on loan
IN: A 6 pack of mojo for the young prince (formerly known as r.o.o.n.e.y)

@Cedars hear from the lads its your BD mate. Cheers!
BD? Big d..k
CedarsDevil
Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there’s a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!
Happy Birthday!
Ditto.
Happy birthday Cedars!
Smartalex- Gotta love Floyd.
GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!!!!!!!
Torres 50 million, Carroll 35 million Suarez 22 million ROONEYS MOJO PRICELESS!!!!!
Unbeaten with Rooney being a shadow of himself. Now if he can find his game with Nani’s game becoming world class on a more consistent basis and if Velencia comes on for the puss toward silverware as well as Parks return the 19 th title is in sight!!!! Get the FA cup as well and if Barca can be avoided until a possible CL final!??!!??!?!?
OH BY THE WAY KICK THE SHIT OUT OF CHITY, CHELSKI AND THE GOONERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CedarsDevil
To infinity and beyond!
Happy Birthday…
Hargreaves included in the 25 man squad
http://premierleagueupdates.blogspot.com/2011/02/hargeaves-in-united-squad.html
There are some footballers who
we can all agree about. Lionel
Messi, for example. There can ’t
be any serious observer who
would think he ’s over-rated. But
such unanimity is very rare in
football.
Split opinion is much more
common and when it comes to
Dimitar Berbatov, rarely can a
player have divided opinion
with such a gulf.
There are two armed camps
when it comes to the languid
Bulgarian; those who think he’s
a brilliant and mercurial talent,
and there are those who think
he ’s lazy, uncommitted and far
too inconsistent.
Which side you are on probably
depends on how you like to see
football played. If you ’re a fan
of run-all-day players whose
contribution is measured by
perspiration, Berbatov will
annoy the hell out of you
because that ’s not his game at
all. Then again, why should it be?
You don ’t employ an artist to be
a coal miner do you?
Much of what Berbatov does
goes unnoticed by those who
just want to see a man running
around like mad dog. His ability
to find space for himself and
others, while not a
demonstrative art form, is
nonetheless a form of brilliance.
This year he ’s added goals to his
creative game, and that will
always get you more fans but
the majority opinion, including
that of his manager it would
seem, is that he is a luxury
player and not one for the blood
and snot battles in the trenches.
This might actually be true
however, as a neutral who just
loves to see a footballer with
craft and guile, it doesn ’t
concern me. I’ve always loved
Berbatov because he is a
footballer like very few
footballers. He has an air of
insouciance and when at the
peak of his form, an
understanding and ability that is
second to none. The way he can
hit a pass or a shot with the
outside of his foot is to watch a
true artist at work.
The best footballers always
seem to have time and space; as
though the universe moves
slower for them than for the
mere mortals who surround
hem, and Berbatov has always
had that unhurried quality.
Granted, he won ’t be Mr
Consistent for any side. He
won ’t give you a seven out ten
performance week after week,
but such predictability is for
lesser talents.
In some ways he ’s a throw back
to the days when football was
more about skill than athleticism.
When it was a slower game full
of men who had talent to burn,
looking to beat the opposition
with flair and style. The likes of
Rodney Marsh, Stan Bowles,
Eddie Gray and even George
Best, often created similarly
divided opinion. Like Berbatov
they would blow hot and cold
but then again, I ’d argue it is to
such rare talents that we turn
for the genuine brilliance in
football; the very inconsistency
an expression of the precarious,
the difficult nature of the game
they instinctively want to play.
Berbatov is a football artist. His
art may never appeal to the
masses but perhaps that is
always the case with real
brilliance.
If theboogeyman loves Floyd, everyone loves Floyd!
It’s great that Hargo’s in the squad. Also many presumed the demise of Gary Neville, but you can’t keep a RedNev down.
Face it goatinautd shirt your original Rooney comments where nothing more than a pointless dig, I dont love him either but jumping everything he says or does in a negative fashion is counterproductive. As for his comments its pretty plain to see that Chelsea have been strengthened by their acquisitions and seeing as they did the double over us last year they a the biggest threat to out title.

Not the last of Gary in football me thinks, thanks for everything gnev
Thank you Gary Neville.
Goodbye Gary Neville, Defender, Winner, Captain, Supporter.
Hello Gary Neville, Coach, Winner, Leader, Supporter!
Gary Neville is a Red!
@Ryandunny i really loved your blog mate..i am a foreign united supporter although i live in uk right now.i come from a country which hardly have a football history.but i started to support united from my childhood and we had acess to the epl through tele at first it was a rivalry between united me and my younger bro bcse he supported chelski when i get to knew more about united’s history i become more and more involved with this club.i wont give up my love for united for anything eventhough i havent visited OT yet.
Gary Neville retires. Legend. Wish he had completed the season with trophys and then ride off into the sunset.
I hope he becomes a coach at Manutd. There is one senior vacancy, reserve team boss.At any capacity I hope he stays.
———————————————————————————————————–
I hope u guys dont get carried away,we stillhave some tough games coming up. Having faith and beleving is different from some of the stuff I see here.
Rooney was right in his comments, with torres chelsea are again a threat, having been off balance for awhile.
Rooney is back now ,let the goals flow, assists flow, overall hardwork and defensve duties continue at the highest level.
Birmingham winning their battle at 3.45 am Malaysian time today.
Little disappointed as a daily RoM reader and a life-long United fan that its been nearly 24 hours since the kick off vs. Aston Villa and RoM published no reaction to our victory. I just feel if Berba scored two and not Rooney, we’d have seen something by now. And in my opinion, that’s pretty messed up. I mean I love it here despite a lot of the bias that I’ve had to learn to ignore (green and gold etc.) but this just feels wrong. Quick to criticize, slow as a snail to give credit where its due for Rooney, it’s exactly like Berba haters have behaved.
Or maybe I’m wrong, maybe it’s just delayed but considering there are new items on the blog since.. I’m just disappointed.
Thanks for all the birthday wishers………. Really appreciated guys
smartalex
One of my all time favourite songs there mate, many thanks
Shine on CedarsDiamond.
Dela – I thought something similar mate, no reaction as yet to the Villa win.
@Dela
im not going to get upset yet, im giving scott the benefit of the doubt that he is just busy and hasnt had time for the write up yet, then the GNev stuff went on, which is obviously more important.
though if we dont get a villa write up, it truly would be dissapointing and hypocritical seeing how much he has bashed the berba haters. love him or hate him, wayne rooney is a red and was crucial in our win.
5 Quick Reactions to the Villa game:
1: Gary Neville wasn’t playing.
2: That was the last time Gary Neville wasn’t selected.
3. John O’Shea started in Gary Neville’s place.
4. Nemanja Vidic has taken over captaincy from Gary Neville.
5 United’s biggest supporter on the night was Gary Neville.
phew!
Rooney scored two goals. ^
Chicharito scored another goal.^^
