Lovely header there, good work from O’Shea as well.

  2. Kings says:

Off topic, disgraceful verdict on cunt Gerrard – he’s found not guilty. Can’t say I am at all surprised though.

  3. Gudjohnsen says:

Yeah I find it strange, why did he need to throw punches in self defense when all of his friends were also throwing punches and plead guilty? Just a thought, they outnumbered the DJ and his friend.

But on topic, good header by Rooney. Macheda also impressed with his great finishing and Berbatov’s header was right in the bottom corner, well done lads! Gibson’s cross was also top class. We’ve seen some good goals in this match on both sides, Dejan did well in finishing his 2 chances.

  4. King Eric says:

Kings – Now then mate. Yeah I see the cunt has been let off. A disgrace. Can’t give a guilty verdict to the MBE. Has he been paying that gangster twat again to nobble the jury? Twat.

  5. ModoB. says:

    Good shoulder by Rooney ;)

  6. mancstan says:

Oh, big suprise, that stepdad cunt let off.

Now see all the ABU press with poor stevie me’s ordeal.

    Twat.

    Goals were good though.

  7. Trevor says:

Looks like it came off his shoulder to be honest..

Fergie once said that rooney was very good in the air, but i am not convinced….

  8. bytor13 says:

Good workout for the lads. How ’bout that Dejan guy? Took a couple of nice goals.

  9. Trevor says:

I’ll tell you what! .. Berbatovs is a header and a half!

  10. firestarter says:

I am elated and excited with Macheda’s goal.

  11. Androo says:

Gibbo & Carrick/Ando for midfield!!! Great great goal from Berbatov!

  12. venu says:

Ando had an ok game, gibson did well on the flank, it was a good game and we were hurried for most of the match. Good to see all our forwards among the goals, sad that wellbeck could not make it though!

  13. mikeyg2310 says:

Watched the game on MUTV. Gutted that Park didn’t score today, it was funny how embarrassed he looked every time they showed him on the big screen.
Looking forward to seeing Valencia. Hoping he can add something on the right.

  14. United_Macedonia says:

how old is dejan,he was very good today, nice finishing

  15. Muggaz says:

i am glad United haven’t had walk in the park games for their pre-season. I can’t wait for the season proper to start now, really looking forward to this squad proving everyone wrong and SAF being justified by not making a gazillion £££ signing…

most of all, I can’t wait to have that Argie cunt struggling to look himself in the mirror each morning and comfortably thinking he made the right decision to join those fuckstains at wastelands.

  16. mikeyg2310 says:

    @ United_Macedonia
According to wikipedia he is 28 this month.

  17. NorwichRed says:

Was great to see the adoration that crowd had for our boys. The tour is going great and the players are gelling pretty well. That support over there is giving them all confidence. Support overseas that shitteh and their oil fuelled wallet cannot buy.
Couldnt help but wonder though.. did Rooney look like he was missing someone when he was sitting on the bench in the 2nd half?

  18. Anon says:

Shite, looks like we are suddenly in a surplus in the midfield. Where has this lad Gibson come from?!! It will be very very difficult to keep him out of the first team this season. And looking at Fletch playing an attacking role in the games he has played this season, i think Carrick will be asked to play DM.

  19. denton davey says:

What’s not to like ? The goals from Macheda (lovely touch to round the keeper) and Berbatov’s well-aimed header were terrific – real striker’s goals. So far, the goals have been well taken and the build-up play – against what is, admittedly, inferior opposition – has been excellent. Too bad that the other guys scored.

  20. Tony Starks says:

Muggaz.. Why are you so worried about someone who has already left? Chill out man it’s only life…

  21. Altonian says:

Good workout in the end. Berbatov, Gibson and Macheda all did well, was impressed with Berba getting forward quicker and proving to be more of a threat. Nani on the other hand was pretty shit, no final ball, didn’t really take it past anyone, I hope he makes it this season but from this evidence I can’t really see it happening unless he improves considerably.

  22. aig alex ìs god says:

missed the game.cn smeone please summarize the game in short for me?

  24. meko420 says:

    Lets all sing a song 4 KIKO…nuff said…

  25. Billy Meredith says:

Not guilty fuck off! You could see exactly what the dirty scal did, how the fuck did he blag his way round that, I don’t get. So that’s it now, you can beat up strangers in bars so long as you say you thought he was going to hit you. Fuck off! I really want to track that fucker down and…

    Great goals btw.

  26. boam6 says:

    we won 3-2 :) summarised

  27. willierednut says:

The trial shud’nt have been in liverpool he was always going to get away wiv it, on topic good workout for the lads, macheda looks a natural finisher.

  28. Anon says:

Can anyone summarise the goal tally for our strikers in this Asia leg?
Not that it means much but sure an indicator of who our top choices will be in Germany….

  29. boam6 says:

only jokin they scored first good cross striker finished well

rooney scored with his shoulder after good play by oshea

they scored again same guy beat the offside trap and chipped it over kuszack

macheda rounded the keeper after an awsome ball

gibson out muscled there left back berba nodded it in near post

  30. KJ says:

I only saw the last 20 mins! but you could see it was a great game!

  31. Muggaz says:

    @ Tony Starks.

I am not too concerned mate – he is just someone who claimed to have loved the fans of United – if you love us, you don’t join one of the clubs we hate to the core.

I had a bad childhood. I was raped by Argentinians as a small lad. I have never been the same since.

  32. willierednut says:

Short and sweet boam6 the way we all like it.

  33. Bobby says:

    Bring them on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  34. Anon says:

willierednut: you not talking about Rooney/Owen are you? :P

  35. Jack says:

    @anon .. macheda 2..rooney 2..owen 2..berba 1

  36. Jack says:

Gonna punch a DJ three times in the face tonight, all captured on CCTV. But it’s alright, you can get away with that now…Gurantee if it was any other court the scouse cunt would of been found guilty.

  37. Gudjohnsen says:

Kiko’s finish reminded me of Ruud.

Does Kiko have a chant already?

  38. willierednut says:

    Very good Anon.

  39. jespermoses says:

Machedas goal was a peach.Shows he can use both feet well, right foot beat the keeper, left foot slams it home.sweet!

    Berbas goal was nice too.

  40. ELiam says:

Did anyone else think that Berba’s goal was absolutely brilliant ?

He had little time to prepare and couldnt put a lot of power to it, but still he placed it perfectly, it wasnt an easy header at all.

Anyway, decent stuff from the lads, im pleased that our strikers have got off the mark, which is so important.

  41. willierednut says:

Gerrards statement after getting of, now that was short and sweet lucky cunt.

  42. aig alex is god says:

@boam 6 .thanks a lot mate.3 strikers on target.owen has gt a few.i knw dis is pre season but things r look promising

  43. jespermoses says:

    On Gerrard.

If that was the average man in the street he’d be on at least,a supended sentence and 200 hours community service.

    Scary.

  44. Muggaz says:

When the ball hits the net
And the Scouse rats are upset
    That’s Macheda!!!
    (That’s Macheda!!!)
    If you’re just seventeen
    And you ruin Scousers dreams
    That’s Macheda!!!
    (That’s Macheda!!!)…

  45. smithy99 says:

Nice to see our strikers are getting in among the goals on this tour, Owen, Rooney, Macheda, Berba etc.

On a more sour note, Stevie fuckin ME. How did that cunt get away with that?? As Gudjohnsen previously stated, all the other fuckers that were throwing punches pleaded guilty and he didn’t.

Perhaps he offered that slag of a missus of his to the jury so the blokes on it could give her a good roasting in turn for letting him off.

Fucking Scousers….i hate the filthy retarded bastards.

  46. Bob Koh says:

The Gerrard trial, the jury were screened as to their football loyalty, was it to ensure they’re scouser-shit fans? Back to the match, 3-2! Every game we had now have been a good workout, innit?

  47. willierednut says:

Spot on jesper any1 else that wud ave been a jail sentence no doubt. Good to see all our strikers getting of the mark, looking forward to seeing valencia in germany.

  48. mancstan says:

Have you heard what the judge said.

It was started by the man who elbowed the man.

As his head rolled back from this, gerrard hit him 3 times cos it looked like he was going to hit stepdad.

    fuck off.

Judge was a fat spanish waiter.

    twat of the higest order.

  49. Darren says:

    loving the macheda chant Muggaz!
can’t see anything but bright things from kiko, keeping his head well despite the hype. Hopefully berba will take confidence from his goal and go on keep finishing like that through the season!

    anybody know our next game?

  50. afromanc says:

how was that precision from berba!!! great stuff!
macheda showing composure like that is a great fucking sign!
    and rooney…pure class

  51. 20legend99 says:

Is anyone else ridiculously excited at Macheda’s prospects? The lad is seven-fucking-teen and he’s playing like he’s been in the first team for years. I cannot wait to see how his career plays out.

  52. Gudjohnsen says:

I’m really excited about Macheda, can’t believe he’s only 17!

    Next game on Sunday, right?

  53. NorwichRed says:

    @ Muggaz
    Another verse 4 ya.
When the ball hits the goal
    Its not Rooney or Scholes
    That’s Macheda!!!
    (That’s Macheda!!!)

  54. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

kiko is unreal he was fantastic today
if anyone didnt see him today
as a writer for the mirror or a city fan what tevez is like
    and that was kiko
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tt7k11_QOI

  55. Muggaz says:

I have to say, the moment he came on against Aston Villa he looked lively and I was licking my lips at the prospect…

hopefully he doesn’t want to play for AC or Inter or something… from what I have seen of the kid though, he loves United, so here is to hoping!!!

  56. 20legend99 says:

I think Kiko want to stay here, to be honest. It just feels right. And the best part is we won’t have to worry about Real or citeh trying to take him from us when he’s mature. Real will be bankrupt and citeh will be in League One.

  57. Jack says:

    @ darren
    sunday

  58. rc7 says:

Kiko just looks and feels like a United player. Hope I’m not getting too carried away.

  59. Alex says:

    Viva Macheda!
    Viva Macheda!
Only seventeen, he’s a goal machine!
    Viva Macheda!

  62. Anon says:

thanks willierednut, and thanks for the info Jack! :D
So Rooney, Macheda and Owen all scored in 2/3 games, and surprise surprise, Kiko outscored Berba! :P

Looking back now, it’s a shame that Welbeck couldn’t make it! Any news if the lad will be making it to Audi Cup or not?

  63. Sunny says:

Kiko is trained by 20legend. Inspired by Rooney, Berba and Owen.

If Ronnie could do it so can Kiko. He is the new new!

And his family was starving when he was at Lazio until Sir Alex called. Kiko has no Real dreams!

And 20legend for next manager after Sir Alex. Ole was taking notes since he joined the team, learning from the master. Now he is doing wonders with the reserves. Great personality like Fergie but even better tactician.

  64. Mark the Devil says:

Ghtt; love the songs, keep ‘em coming mate.

  65. King Eric says:

Haven’t actually seen it yet as at work. Going home now to watch it. From what I hear Gibson was good again. That lad will make it as I have said for weeks now. Gets stuck in, can pass a ball, energetic and a wicked shot. The future is looking rosy .

Have great hopes for Macheda, looking forward to seeing his goal and as for Berba! Love the geezer.

Sunny , absolutely agree about Ole taking over. Have been saying the same thing for a while now. Perfect candidate as he knows what United are all about. Great first season in charge of reserves. It is no coincidence we have seen a load of them playing for the “first” team.

  66. Anon says:

Ole a better tactician than Fergie? We shall see. For now let the good times roll.
PS: I agree about Kiko’s loyalty to us. Just look at Messi at Barca. Or a City Youth team player we signed back in the 80s. I heard he was doing pretty well in the United #11 shirt till recently…

  67. OMelhorDoMundo says:

I’ve just arrived home from the match and I am elated at having watched United in flesh. I’ve seen some great teams and great players before: fat Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Figo, Cocu, Overmars, Guardiola, Bergkamp, Canizares, Viera, and Henry. But watching United is different.
I barely remember why I even started supporting United. When I lived in England, I’d watched some Beckham highlights on Goal of the Month, bought the 96/97 season review video, and got the Schmeichel purple shirt. I don’t know which one really sparked my interest in United but even after I moved to Barcelona, Seoul and Sao Paulo, my affinity towards United has always stuck, despite never having seen them. I’ve seen Barca and Corinthians in their stadiums, but the surge of emotion when I saw Giggs’s name announced in the starting lineup tonight is unparalleled.
I’m really jealous of those of you who can go watch United regularly. Just seeing the team warming up made my day. But to see United grace the field for an entire ninety minutes was truly memorable. I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight.

  68. 20legend99 says:

I would love to see Ole take over after Fergie, and I think that’s Fergie’s plan, which is why he’s giving him experience in the reserves. Someone internal that lives and breathes for the club? Can’t get a better manager than that.

  69. venu says:

Ole I think is being groomed to replace SAF. Considering that he will have spent a lot of time with our future players and he understands as much if not than any other managers around what it takes to be a part of this club and this league.
And hey, If Pep can win the treble who is to say our goal poacher extreme can’t do the same. I would rather have him than the likes Mourinho.
I think an old boy is the only way to ensure similar longevity at the top!

  70. Wayne Rooney's hair says:

question for all of you: (try to be objective)

where does Kiko rate with the best young prospects (19 and under) around the world?

Is he a better player than with more upside than the likes of Sanchez, Balotelli, Ramsey, ect

Do we have the best young prospect in world football with this kid?

  71. theboogeyman says:

OMelhorDoMundo,I am so jealous of you!!I can imagine your thrill at seeing Giggs,Rooney,Brown, etc. playing in front of you.

Also, just to add to the push for Ole to be manager,if we’re ever losing,he can send himself on!!

  72. eric belfast says:

    3 good goals there

  73. sean_m11 says:

@Wayne Rooney’s hair i think macheda has huge potential, very exciting for us.
i cant comment really about others but i think bojan at barca looks the real deal and he’s only 19 next month.
You mention Ramsey, i think we missed out there, i believe that he will be a very special player.
and (whisper it quietly) this kid at city called weiss, seen him in the youth cup last year or the year before and he looked really impressive

  74. mancaroon says:

nice cross and a proper centre forwards goal from el blanco, nice touch and good composure from macheda, and another nice ball from gibson and a bullet header. simples.

  75. willierednut says:

Kiko the kid cud be the new ronaldo, he’s got the same hairstyle so thats a start.

  76. Wayne Rooney's hair says:

    @sean_m

Bojan seems to be a little to small and i heard he struggled at Barca last year and was being linked to Celtic.

from a physical and technical perspective, Macheda seems to be the next big thing

  77. balljon says:

Did kiko cup his ears ala teve$? Where did fergie find this lad?!

  78. denton davey says:

WayneRooney’sHair – It would seem to me that Macheda and Balotelli are about equal although MarioB is a year older and has had more first-team action so he would have to get the nod, by a whisker – as it were !

Strikers – Little Mikey and FatRonaldo are excellent examples – usually hit their peak early and if they can stay fit they will continue as they can substitute experience for a yard of pace. It’s harder to get a proper judgement on other outfield players since their quality is often a reflection of the guys around them.

In answer to your question – KikoTheKid has be among the very best prospects in world footie. What makes his emergence even more surprising is that the other Italian kid (Petrucci) is supposed to be even better, with a “higher ceiling” !

About Ole – I agree that he is being “groomed” to be SAF’s successor; I’ve thought that for a while and nothing I’ve heard from SAF has caused me to change that opinion.

  79. NicoQB says:

    The Continental:

    Well, hello there…

  80. Jack says:

    @Anon
he played for england u19s tonight…hope his coming to the Audi Cup but dont think he is because no1s mentioned it they’ve only said valenica and vidic are coming out…shame..welbecks quality

  81. King Eric says:

Costas – Hello mate hope you are well, ain’t seen much of you on here recently. My Valencia tickets arrived today, have yours yet?

  82. Costas says:

Hi King Eric! I have been a bit busy these days. I did come here during the day. I haven’t received my tickets yet mate. As i said recently, i gave them the answer of my contact in England, so they will send them to him. So far nothing.

Let them believe it King Eric. The bigger their hopes, the greater their embarasment when they finish 10th again!

  83. Costas says:

I gave them the address i meant

  84. boam6 says:

Yaya toure just took the piss outta tottenham! Do we need something like that on our cm I can’t wait for Hargreaves to come back I think he’s awsome next to carrick but do we need an essien yaya toure type player to compliment our already strong midfield??

  85. Sunny says:

The reason why I said Ole is a better tactician is because he us such a good reader of the game in progress. He was even better coming in as a sub as he had time to analyze and then come on and score four…

Fergie will stay 2-3 years more by when Ole will be ready. The good thing about such “father to son” succession is that Ole would be able to run all kinds of issues by Fergie – his mentoring would be invaluable. Mourinho is so different and powerhungry he will not want to take the advice from the Oracle of Football.

And of course the only way you can have only one manager every 25 years is to find somebody young and with the right culture.
    Mercenary managers do not apply!

  86. Jack says:

England u19s drew tonight…seems thanks to our lads that they drew..drinkwater assited a goal and welbeck won a pentaly

  87. Kings says:

King Eric – Evening mate. Apologies for the delay in replying, had a busy day today. Hope you are well mate. Well…………we knew this would happen didn’t we? cunts like him will always get the rub of the green. If someone like me or you did that, then we will doing a stretch now, no question. I have just been watching Sky Sports News. They never cease to amaze me! Tranmere are playing a Liverpool XI featuring none other than that fucking cunt, and surprise, surprise…..he has just scored! The commentator said the following in response to the goal: ‘Gerrard has just equalised after deciding to continue, despite telling us he will only be playing 45 minutes. A perfect tonic for the Liverpool legend after the tough ordeal he has had this week. A well taken goal where he has let his feet do the talking’. No matter what misdemeanour or crime this cunt commits, it will always be overlooked by the majority of the fucking bastards in this country, because he will always be respected and lauded. Can you imagine the shit Rooney would get if it was him who committed that offence!?

Another point I would like to make. People like Adebyor are being labelled a mercenary for joining City and quite rightly so. When Gerrard puts in two transfer requests to join Chelsea, the media automatically assume it is the fault of his current club who are treating him badly. And to this day that is forgotten and he is being bracketd with the likes of Scholes and Giggs in terms of loyalty to their club. What the fuck??!!

Finishing on a plus note…great to see Macheda scoring again. Let’s hope he gets a few games in this season and if he can chip in with 10 goals that would be fantastic. I’m really looking forward to the new season.

  88. javac says:

Ole for manager? Maybe. Half expecting Moyes though. Ole for twenty years then Kiko will take over as Guvnor. sweet!

  89. hurr says:

Dipper shit can’t even make it against Tranmere. Hope they fail again come August where it’s supposed to be their season (of fuck all).

  90. King Eric says:

Kings – Yeah not bad mate are you? Unbelievable I saw he had scored the cunt but typical of the commentators to say summat like that. Every bit of news I have read about the horrible bastard seem to be bigging him up and not QUESTIONING why the “Liverpool and Ingerlund LEGEND” was up in court in the first place. Theres no smoke without fire. Talking of dippers I see Kuyt reckons they will win the league now. How many of our lads or anyone connected with the club do you hear talking like that in the summer? None thats how many because they just go about their job quietly and keep on winning trophies. Summat the mouthy bastards from the dippers and Citeh and the like would do well to bear in mind.

Off topic but Berba is class. Gonna be huge for us next season.

  91. cantona7 says:

I love watching Berba’s header times and times again. I remember feeling gutted with his lackadaisical header in last season’s league games, so this one is a big suprise for me.

I thought Gibbo had a real good game. Thought he is a central mid..

  92. Hitman says:

    Macheda, whoooaaa
    macheda, whoooaaa
    he’s only 17
    he made old trafford screAm

  93. Hitman says:

    Here is a torres chant:

    he’s half a boy
    And half a girl
    torres torres,
he look just like a transvestite,
    torres torres,
    he wears a frock
    he likes the c*ck
he sells his arse on albert dock
Fernando torres caraghers bit on the side

  94. Kings says:

King Eric – Hello mate, apologies for the delay again, I was out and about all weekend. I’m good thanks mate. Yeah that’s typical of them, licking his arse. Kuyt’s another cunt as well, flying kicks on Phil Neville and sneaky kicks at a Hull player – fucking bastard. Yeah scousers and Citeh are idiots. Speaking of Citeh, I’ve just had to reply to ‘evrasleftboot’ a United fan who surprisingly said that I was foolish to question Dunne’s ability as he has won City player of the year 5 out of the last 6 years – I said that he was a pub player, a remark made in response to a Citeh fan who questioned the abilities of Carrick, Park and Fletcher. What’s your opinion on that one?
