that programme UNITED was very good

  2. Ryandunny says:

Very Interesting and fascinating man. Legend.

  3. Ryandunny says:

    gesno

I agree was a very interesting and emotional watch. Only thing I didn’t like was that Busby sounded more like a member of the mafia rather then a scottsman.

  4. willierednut says:

If Shanks says he’s the best ever, who are we to disagree. RIP SMB

  5. Giles Oakley says:

A very great man. Never to be forgotten.

  6. Rai says:

If only he knew how big his legacy still is

  7. dannysoya says:

You’re looking at a GREAT MAN. An absolute LEGEND. Thank you sir for what you did for this club. You will NEVER be forgotten.

  8. Mannings says:

If it weren’t for Munich, there’d be no talk of 19 this year as we’d already be on 25! Probably be on more than 5 European cups too!

I’m only 22, but Busby and his babes make me proud to be a red!

  9. Ryandunny says:

    Mannings

True… but Munich has helped shape the club into what it is today. A magnificent club, that no matter what the obstacle we will carry on being great!

    Sorry Off topic Sir Matt,

Here’s what Ancelotti have to say:

    Ancelotti eyes United collapse

  12. Kings says:

A heartwarming and engrossing interview. A great man, a father figure and a true legend. And when you have another great like Bill Shankley speak of him in such glowing terms, that shows the true measure of Sir Matt. We love you Sir Matt. Gone but never forgotten.

  13. Xyth says:

Did not know that FA was a leading member of the ABU camp even then!
One wonders had they agreed to postpone the Wolverhampton match, would United have rushed to get back to England so quickly?

Jimmy Murphy is also a legend!!!

  14. MG says:

“The ghosts of these boys still hovering over the ground”

That’s what I mean by the soul of Manchester United – we have to win this 19 – for the first time we can fittingly lay the Babes to rest

This is not about winning – this is about laying down a marker – a foundation for the future which will forever be inextricably linked to what Sir Matt says as the greatest United of his era

“Those young boys who were winning the league by 9 – 11 points – staggering”

    Manchester United will never die.

  15. byron1970 says:

@Xyth – Yes the FA tried to bully United out of Europe in the same way they did to Chelsea but thankfully Sir Matt had the strength and the vision to fight them on it. They’re still as backward now as they were back then. Thankfully United thrive inspite of the FA and not because of them.

  16. Mikekelly12 says:

Sorry but last nights United programme was a complete misrepresentation of united and the disaster! My wife is Dennis Viollett’s niece and I still speak with Dennis’ sister (my wifes gran) on a regular basis and she was pretty upset with it. Dennis’ daughter Rachel is a film producer currently living in Florida and is working on a more well informed movie of the united team and the disaster. Viollett still holds the record for United for most goals scored in a season and (for those of you who don’t know) he was the player sat next to Bobby Charlton when the plane crashed. He was never mentioned! Bill Foulkes survived and played in the following match along with Harry (Henry) Gregg. He was mentioned once. I think such a poignant story of such tragedy deserved better.

  17. sports24x says:

    he was a great manager…

  18. Saad says:

“The ghosts of Munich hovering over Old Trafford…”

Somebody tell that to our current boys so that they get stuck in and bring home the 19th and the 4th.

  19. NotoriousRedDevil says:

On a weekend where we’ve remembered the babes albeit through a BBC film. It pisses me off how so called fans of the club have dragged this clubs name through the mud by the vile abuse they have been giving Darron Gibson. They’ve embarrassed all of the fans of this club. An absolute disgrace, in my mind I know some hypocritical gobshite scum who talk big about our history are also responsible are probably posters here. Last night I was proud to be a United fan, today I’m embarrassed by some of our so called supporters. Fuck off and go support someone else. Rant Over.

  20. Kings says:

xyth – Hardaker was the bastard who put the pressure on Sir Matt to rush back to England after the tie or face points deduction for failing to fulfil a fixture against Wolves. He was vehemently opposed to United playing in Europe, so he used that as a way of bullying Sir Matt. Hardaker is a cunt who has passed the baton on to other generations within the FA. United will always triumph over the FA thanks to the foundations laid by Sir Matt and Sir Alex will continue the fight against these bastards today too.

  21. MG says:

    Mikekelly12

Very interesting had the same view yesterday

I’m writing my own Busby Babes project – it’s nothing serious because as I have mentioned many times before I’m writing other things

Not sounding desperate – but how serious is that Munich idea from Rachel?

I’d do a project for absolutely zero – but again it’s very poignant – just a thought

After three years of labour on The Busby Babes I found United hard to swallow – as mentioned yesterday their was no heart no soul in the dramatisation – even for a drama it missed the whole point about United

Listening to Sir Matt in the interview reinforces my point that The Busby Babes is more of a story than that was portrayed – especially when you consider some of us have actually painstakingly read and researched it far more beyond than what came to be yesterday on the BBC

Like King Eric said it’s good for the story to be out there – but that for me isn’t enough – what United lost was more than a team – we lost a group of players that were bought together by Sir Matt and Jimmy Murphy for a reason – and that sole reason is what makes Manchester United what it is today.

I know I am repeating myself but these words are sacred to the United family

    Youth Courage Success.

In Hernandez and Smalling especially this year – they are the shining examples of what Sir Matt and Jimmy Murphy have left upon this club – they are the reasons why Sir Alex still continues to lead us – and they are the reasons among many others how we find ourselves on the cusp of destiny….

Nothing else is important – the only important thing to know is that Manchester United are still standing.

  22. Mikekelly12 says:

@kings – Well said!!! They were at it then and they’re still at it today. The fact than Manchester United have NEVER openly criticised Hardaker or the F.A for making the decision that lead to United being in Munich in the first place still wrankles with them as they have no outlet to vent their guilt! Instead they continue to persecute a club that makes them a fortune, that tows their party line for the good of the country (dropping out of the FA Cup) and then get hung out to dry. They ban the current manager and star player from the semi final of their flag ship trophy!! These soulless twats have very short memories and would do well remembering how their petty small minded decision making can impact on not only individuals but on a much larger scale. Fuck the FA, and if I held any sway I would refuse to play in their tin pot trophy until they started showing us a bit of respect!!

  23. Mikekelly12 says:

@MG – I agree whole heartedly! Rachel’s project is still in the early stages of fostering financial backing etc, but is very real and will happen. I thought the BBC programme lacked any soul or real passion for a club that was the focal point for not only a city but a country at the time! Even Sir Matt was poetrayed as a bit part player!! People seem to forget that Manchester United were far more than just a football team!

  24. GoatinaUnitedShirt says:

Great great great man. What would we have become without him.

On a lighter note I see a great article about Tottenhams self proclaimed answer to another great man (Sir Alex) on viz’s website (viz.co.uk). Rocky (certainly run aground if not yet strewn on the rocks) Horror (Bale the new Giggs looks in the mirror and realises maybe hes taken the monkey look a bit too far) Picture (If a picture can paint a thousand words then the screening of tottenhams matches paints infinately more – surprisingly all of them are SHIT) Show (Mr Redknapp sure showed us with his recent outbursts that he is a manager of quality and not the man who bunged his way, bankrupt his way, car crashed his way to the top).

  25. Damu says:

Dean Wndass has the worst voice in history, he sounds like his got a dick in his mouth

  26. DAVE RED says:

I think the main part of the Munich programme was to show how Jimmy Murphy(played very well
by David Tennant) held and put United back together, in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy.

I thought it was along overdue recognition of a brilliant number 2 and coach to Sir Matt.

  27. GoatinaUnitedShirt says:

Damu, its not mine is it. You know every time you go you leave something behind.

  28. indiandevil says:

Sir Matt.. RESPECT! , yeah i liked the United movie quite a bit too :)

guys before the game against Shalke, here’s a look back at our German hoodoo in Europe :

    http://www.thehardtackle.com/index.php/man-united%e2%80%99s-corner-german-jinx-in-europe/

    C’mon you Reds!

  29. willierednut says:

There’s a programme about sir Bobby Charlton on BBC2, Thursday night. 9pm.

  30. Kings says:

Mikekelly12 – Great post mate. Yeah despite the lack of criticism from United for what happened, the bastards at the FA will still make an example of us, despite the fact that we give them global recognition through our name and the performances on the pitch both domestically and in Europe. The 6 consecutive years that English clubs dominated the European Cup (1977-1982) was largely due to our insistence on participating in the premier competition in the first place, despite the protestations of the FA, yet they milked all the glory as if it was their own doing. Cunts. Before the bidding of the 2006 back in 2000, we was asked to participate in the FIFA world club championship in Brazil, so England would have a great chance of hosting it, pulling out of the FA cup in the process and denying ourselves a chance of defending it, then when that all went tits up, we was left hung out to dry like you rightly said. Worse was the condemnation we recieved from that Arsenal loving cunt Kate Hoey – fucking bitch. The FA can go fuck themselves. I know it may seem a little far fetched but they should be held accountable to some degree for that tragedy, even though we showed total class by not openly criticising them for it.

  31. Stenis says:

The most important person in United’s great history. No contest.

  32. MyCowIsTheBest says:

    Respect for Sir Matt.

Anyway Scott, can you do anything to support Gibson? I feel like punching the faces of those people who did that to him..

  33. willierednut says:

    What happened to Gibson?

  34. parryheid says:

I wonder how much of a financial impact there is to the F.A.coffers with there being Two lesser teams contesting the final and was that considered when Bernstein was allowed to sit in judgment on Rooney and maybe pushed for the second game ban.Doesn’t mean United were guaranteed to go forward but had they the interest from commerce would have rocketed, I mean Uniteds mailing list alone would have shifted an artic load of programme’s alone United are Box office.

  35. kaihnsn says:

Sorry for of topic on this Sir Matt Busby thread. To all united fan who abused gibbo… you’re bunch of prick. Shame on you. If you are frustrated with him that not give you license to abused him.

  36. Cyril Sneer says:

I thought there were some very moving scenes in that movie, especially Duncan Edwards ‘get stuck in’ and the part where Murphy refused to let them shut the club down. It was never going to please all the fans and still be accessible to everyone. It’s such a shame that after something that is supposed to remind us why we are UNITED some people turn on our own. We’ve been very lucky to have such great players and success but expecting every young player to be Ryan Giggs is ridiculously unfair.

  37. The truth says:

Like many have said above, the United movie was good in terms of highlighting the role Jimmy Murphy played, but didnt really show much about the team etc. Good movie nonetheless.

Sir Matt is a true legend.

    @ MyCowIsTheBest
    Why? What happened to Gibbo?

  38. sachu says:

    gibson got tortured on twitter

  39. kaihnsn says:

United fans that abused gibbo on twitter just bring shame to all United fans and the Club. Now the news just flash online.

  40. sachu says:

he has deleted his twitter account

  41. Costas says:

Yeah, probably some United “fans” got mixed up when they were choosing sides. They meant to support Shity.

However, I do hope Gibson didn’t leave twitter for that reason. Everyone gets abuse on twitter and you have to suck it up. Plus, you can’t let cunts like that get their way.

  42. kmTan says:

    To Willierednut,
    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/911803/darron-gibson-deletes-twitter-account-after-abuse?cc=5901
Here’s the link to the bashing gibbo’s been getting. This is most embarrassing.. These ‘fans’ just don’t get it, do they?

  43. The truth says:

    @sachu
Are you sure they were united fans? I wasnt aware he even had a twitter account, but if what you guys are saying is true. Then words fail me. That is an absolute disgrace, how could they?

  44. sachu says:

@ truth nt sure but they could be this really is terrible hope gibbo shuts them up these so called fans really should love and support all players wearing our shirt

  45. NotoriousRedDevil says:

2 hours these cunts gave Gibbo 2 fucking hours. Chomping at the bit to abuse him. The way these fans behave is how WE are labelled. The amount of abuse and the type of abuse he got I don’t even dish out at the enemy. Once again an absolute disgrace.

  46. The truth says:

Just seen the link. Thats fucking embarassing- those disgusting people who thought it was okay to do that, just shamed our club.

I hope he gets back on Twitter.

What baffles me is why he is getting so much stick from the fans. Fucking hell, thats what the bitters, and the Arseholes do. NOT united fans. We are top of the league and need all the support, and they do this. He hasnt complained about being on the bench, he has never said anything bad about the club. Everytime he played, he has given 100%. Yes, he isnt the most gifted player, but thats not what makes this club so great. It’s about the unity, the spirit and the courage.

I havent been this pissed with some united fans before, they are giving all of us a bad name. Fucking bastards.

  47. willierednut says:

Km Tan – Cheers mate. Do we know for certain it was United fans? If it was indeed United fans, shame on yous.

  48. MyCowIsTheBest says:

sorry The Truth and willie. but anyway kmTan has posted the link.. thank you kmTan..

Nevertheless, i hope Gibson can be much stronger.. Hope he has the mental strength to just ignore those c*nts, but since i also have not actually read those abuse line, there is nothing much i can say.. huhu

  49. CedarsDevil says:

To think that between them Sir Matt and Sir Alex have given over 50 years to our club is truly amazing. Both great men beyond description using common words such as greats or legends. It just shows and proves what a huge club United are, we write the history books and we create the future.

    UNITED

  50. kaihnsn says:

    @The truth,

why would opposition fans want to abuse him? I dont even follow opposition players on twitter. So those cunt who abuse him must be frustrated united fans. but they forgot one thing, Gibbo on the field because SAF believes he could do what him was asked to do.

  51. sachu says:

    @truth great post mate

  52. FletchTHEMAN says:

Just read the article on Gibbo in the Guardian. What the flippin hell??? These people call themselves United fans? Unbelievable. See some lads on here bashing him as well. Unbelievable.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/apr/25/darron-gibson-quits-twitter-abuse

  53. carloc1978 says:

those people sending gibson abuse on twitter not true united fans. i must say gibson should man up a little though am sure rooney , owen and ferdinand get as much shit. massive game tomorrow need a goal or two to take home. see sir alex thinks berbatov wiil be fit for sunday!

  54. Mikekelly12 says:

As I posted earlier, some people really don’t get what it means to be a United supporter or what United really stands for. Look up our name in the fucking dictionary for fuck sake you fucking losers (twitter abusers). NEVER, disrespect a member of our club!! Win lose or draw we are UNITED!! I would live to see these clowns abusing Gibson even try and control a football. My thoughts are they are more tuned into FIFA or PRO EVO than a real life 3D football on the park!! Go sit on your fucking joy stick you blue cunts!

  55. dannysoya says:

Anything BBC does is always useless. So don’t be surprised if it was a huge misrepresentation of the real thing. Mikekelly12 made and excellent point about how the F.A continues to undermine the ONE club that makes that organisation and this country SHIT LOADS of money. You ban the lge BEST manager for 5 games for some comments that you took to be insulting when they WERE just the plain truth. You ban one of the best talents to come out of england for a long time just because he said something that 3/4 of the ENTIRE WORLD cannot go a day without saying. There is saying Everyday for the thief ONE DAY for the owner. The FA’s day of reckoning will come soon enough.

  56. chughesmufc says:

thats the man who made this club what it is today.

    Rest in peace Sir Matt

    Legend of the highest order

  57. Sam Peoples says:

I thought the BBC did well to show the 1958 disaster to those who had no idea what it was about. To those who did, it was a misrepresentation of those who we know and love.

After watching it, I decided to put my dissertation project online in my blog in a series of posts. Please have a look and read my dissertation if you are interested in learning more about the Munich Air Disaster!

    http://teamwinning.wordpress.com/

    Sam.

  58. CedarsDevil says:

    FletchTHEMAN

Not United fans by any means mate…….. Might think they are but in truth they are deluded haters

  59. MyCowIsTheBest says:

i am going online on my twitter just to show my support for Gibbo. Damn.. just ignore.. no need to quit Gibbo!

  60. FletchTHEMAN says:

Anyone bashing Darron should have a look at Guardian Chalkboards. I will give the link but you will have to load the season and game of interest. I tell you what, he was about the most accurate midfielder we had with over 30 passes. Better than Giggs as a percentage, and Giggs won us the game.

As I said yesterday, Darren did a very good job on the weekend. Not a ronaldo like performace, but surely worthy of Flectch and Hargreaves better games in the first half. But you could see his spirit drop with abuse from the home fans. THE HOME FANS!!!!!

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/chalkboards/create

  61. MG says:

I would also go one further

Over this season a lot of fans have also taken exception to Sir Alex when things haven’t worked out at times

    Yet here we are.

It’s a tribute to the man his foundations his beliefs and his ultimate loyalty to Manchester United that he still continues to defy everyone.

Sir Matt Busby saw that in Sir Alex and the rest now is history.

Manchester United is what it is – and it belongs to the souls of those that made it greater.

It belongs to Jimmy Murphy who was quietly let go of – it belongs to George Best who the club could not offer more help to – it belongs to Eric Cantona who bought a love affair back after so long.

These are just mere examples – it belongs to so many who cared for it and cherished it with their every inch of being. It belongs to Ryan Giggs who still carries on playing as he did the day he first stepped onto the pitch. It belongs to players like Van Der Sar who at his age of retirement still pulls out world class saves week in week out.

Manchester United is more than a club or an institution – it is a family – and all supporters and fans should treat it like one. Anyone who wears the shirt wears it not for himself – but for the very privilege of representing Manchester United.

We too have the same honour and privilege and therefore should act accordingly.

  62. Devil310 says:

Just read the article about Gibbo quitting twitter. It’s pretty sad actually.

The saddest part is that I wouldn’t be surprise that most of the abuse came from “so called” United fans. It is incredible that after everything Sir Alex has given us, we still doubt his decision making when it comes to players. As if any of us would know better than him or his team.

If he is in the first team, is because he has owned that spot. As any United player, he deserves our support. Negativity only brings negative results.

  63. CedarsDevil says:

    MG

Fucking blasting post mate, had me moved with emotions…….. Fantastic.

  64. willierednut says:

“The thing to remember, and some people don’t realize, is that some people try to build football teams, we try to build a football club” Sir Alex Ferguson

We’re lucky to have had SAF and SMB.

  65. kaihnsn says:

those who like abuse the abuser on twitter you can find the “united fans” on the link that i posted earlier.

  66. Dimitar Berbatov is King says:

It’s not surprising to see Gibson getting flak, given how the glory hunters act, but getting him off Twitter in less than 2 hours?

Damn…last thing we need. Gibson is there for a reason, and even though I personally wouldn’t be sad to see him go this summer, it’s no way to treat a player wearing the shirt of Man Utd.

  67. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

    Great quote that mate

  68. CedarsDevil says:

Not sure how I feel about tonight’s game. Would of course be hilarious if shitty do not finish in the top 4, but I also want Blackburn to be relegated……. Idiot of a manager and clueless owners

  69. dannysoya says:

I have always said that nobody is protected from constructive criticism but to drive gibbo off twitter is way too much. I didn’t watch the first half of everton but from the second half i didn’t see what he did wrong. He did his job perfectly. Hopefully he doesn’t take this as a sign of leaving cuz i think he can get better with more games. Hope the players encourage him to stay.

  70. Gary says:

The portrayal of Sir Matt was a huge gaff from the BBC last night. He looked like Al Capone and came across rather cold. The film though did have it’s plus points with the main one being, David Tennant, who was excellent as Jimmy Murphy. It was always going to be hard to please everyone and I can understand people’s grumbles with it but it was still none the less an emotional watch. The track by Paul Weller at the end written for the film was good also.

  71. willierednut says:

Cedars – Thought I’d share the quote on here. Goes to the heart, what United are all about. On City, couldn’t care less mate. More concerned with our game in Germany. And then the goon squad on Sunday. Big few week coming up.

  72. Costas says:

    @Notorious

Yeah, it does reflect on all of us. And that’s why it always bugs me when I see our fans insulting our players. And when you have a go at them, you get accused of acting as a superior United fan. Well, we are, aren’t we?

  73. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

Great quote at that, thanks buddy…… Agreed as to where our attention should be, i.e. Germany and the goons next weekend. Having a laugh at shitty is always a bonus though!

  74. MG says:

    Evening Cedars

Thanks for that mate – how are you and more importantly where is that smartalex?

  75. CedarsDevil says:

    MG

Pleasure mate…….. As for smartalex, beats me… I miss the bugger and just hope he is ok

  76. slim says:

Some people just don’t like him in the team and thats nothing new. He shouldn’t have bothered with the twitter thing anyway, what’d he expect. Him more than anybody on the planet know how he’s perceived and more importantly what he does on the pitch. Either one’s not so good, maybe a bit harsh on my part but its a non story this

  77. dannysoya says:

“superior fans” are different from normal United fans. Superior fans are the ones who have a pop at you When you say even the slightest thing against a United player. they are the ones who believe that NO single United player should EVER be criticised. Even if we lose 4-0. we should be all jolly and happy all the time. Those are the ones who forget that fans are also human beings and have the right to express their feelings. Those are the ones i hate. I haven’t seen those types here anyways.
However when you go on twitter and call a player shite to his face and all that. Now those are personal attacks and i can understand if fans get chastised for those kind of attacks.

  78. Costas says:

Smartalex hasn’t been here since the defeat at Wembley 10 days ago. I hope he didn’t take it too hard. Come back buddy!

  79. slim says:

lest i forget. All hail Sir Matt. Legend. Surprised by the misrepresentation on the BBC piece, nevertheless i was reminded again what a great club United is. Come on United

  80. CedarsDevil says:

    dannysoya

Sushi with soy sauce, now thats a mouth watering meal…. Fuck, I must be hungry

  81. Costas says:

    @danny

I agree. There has to be a limit in both cases. Of course there’s going to be critisism. No denying that. But I am not ashamed to admit that I consider myself a better United fan than someone that wishes that Berbatov breaks his leg or calls Giggs a limp old cunt. I don’t care if we’ve lost 6-0 ay home against City, some things should never be said.

  82. CedarsDevil says:

    slim

They have medication for that sort of thing mate……. Take a couple of pills and you should be fine :-)

  83. Passe says:

This is what happens when you give internet access to retarded people. Let’s se what they would say to Gibson if they met him on the streets of Manchester. Fuck all would they say. These are probably the same glory hunters who call to the comedy show with Townsend and complain about why SAF doesn’t buy Aguero, Benzema, Ozil and loads of other prima donnas.

  84. CedarsDevil says:

    Passe

Spot on mate………… Who the fuck wants to talk to Townsend in the first place?

  85. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Totally agree Costas. I’ve criticised players but then I have balls to confess when I’ve made a mistake. O’Shea and Carrick to players that come to mind. I remember the case of Darren Fletcher chatting with some fans years ago and they were saying why Kleberson wasn’t playing? The point was if he was given the same run of games as Fletcher he would be amazing. I agreed at the time, however now a bit older and wiser. Thers being schooled in the United way, stuff thats probably naked to even the most hardcore fans eye. Fletcher was schooled in the United way which can’t always be taught regardless of how many world Cups a player has won. Similar scenario with Gibbo, he’s a squad player but if he’s getting shit the minute his names announced then whats the point? Richardson another example, I actually heard a fan say when he scored the 3rd goal vs Watford it was a good day till he scored. You fucking kidding me. These supporters bunch of clowns.

  86. Costas says:

Cedars can’t resist having a pop at Townsend, lol.

  87. MG says:

    I’ll have sushi :)

  88. RedMegleeker says:

As for Gibson, maybe he’s setting his account up with a better name or something? Something strong and with presence like maybe wazzaroon? Jesus.

The fella I’m sure listens to plenty of grief like we all do. If he’s stupid enough to set up a twitter account then I’m sure it’ll be back on soon.

  89. Cyril Sneer says:

I wouldn’t mind talking to Townsend. I’d ask him if it was a United player that broke his nose or if he just hates us because he was never good enough to play for us.

  90. CedarsDevil says:

Sorry for a repeat but just watched SAF’s post match interview after the win against Everton….again!

‘People keep saying we will lose against Arsenal and Chelsea, why? We are capable of winning both matches, thats what I keep telling the players, win the games and we will be champions’

    Fucking legend of a man

  91. CedarsDevil says:

Costas – No I cannot mate, he is a hateful dick head lol

MG – I will slice the fish my self mate

  92. MG says:

    Cedars – done

It’s one thing to dicuss players as fans amongst ourselves in a constructive debate but to abuse them through any medium, be it online or at a game is down right dispicable. I personally don’t think that Gibson is good enough to play for United but I certainly don’t want to be right on that point and I absolutely don’t have any plans to set about trying to prove that I’m right. Because any fucking idiot that shouts abuse at him when he’s at a game or insults him on twitter is not helping Darren Gibson to become the best he can be. In fact I’m beginning to doubt now whether I should even be giving my honest opinion of him as a player on a site such as this one as maybe it is only fuelling the ignorant beasts that forced him to kill his twitter account. I know one thing about Gibson and that is that he always gives his best whenever he puts on a United shirt and that’s all we can ask of any player.
