Evening pal. Yep he was one in a million! You’re right about picking a favourite but I guess people go with the player who they could relate to during those early impressionable years of watching the boys run out onto the pitch as we looked on in awe!

  4. Mikekelly12 says:

    Sandeep

  12. SAFrican says:

This is so epic! Don’t blame him for not remembering who hugged him first after scoring the 99 winner…such a rush of emotions, he can probably hardly remember scoring it himself!

He’s gone quite grey BTW, manager’s curse XD

  13. Zibbie says:

Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t get it? Some sort of incest joke??

  20. Zibbie says:

@SAFrican , Smartalex our friend is from SA and has not posted lately, I saw a clever name and thought it might be him. His sister wont let him watch Man Utd VS her husbands favorite team because the get to loud. I was hoping he was posting again.
    Hello Smartalex.

Took so long to type (and shepherds pie got in the way as well) that only just posted my essay on the other thread if anybody is interested in reading. Cool if you don’t. Enjoyed this video, Ole is starting to age now lol.

  23. Fred says:

Wolfie you would have fit right in the night before, running with the pack!!!!
SAFrican great name, welcome to the wild wonderful world of RoM.
    Off to read NRD’s post.

  29. Red Neck says:

Many past players from different clubs are proclaimed legends. Many of these players do not really deserve the description. Ole for me is a true legend. The way he conducted himself on and of the pitch, the fabulous variety of goals he scored, not to mention the numerous important match winners. You always felt safe with Ole in the side as he was never beaten and never gave up. He was so consistent he just never played badly. I think it was Fergie who once made the observation that When Ole came on as sub he always hit the ground running, instantly up to speed in the match because he had studied and understood the flow of the game so well. It’s this ability to read the game so well that will make Ole a legend as a manager as well as a player. OLE 20 Legend.

  30. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

Ollie Gunner Soul-Shire – The Human Viagra 8)

  31. Zibbie says:

NRD nice, and thanks for your thoughts!
SAF wants to leave the club in the state where almost no one could fuck it up over night. I came into the PL as a fan in the 2003/04 season the fucking Gunners undefeated run. Then the next 2 years Jose and Chelski. SAF saw the bar raised by the Russian mob money. He made a team to beat them and 3 out of 4 CL finals came with it!. Now new Oil money is his goal. To leave Man Utd regardless of owner and gaffer in a position to succeed.
The Glazzers made it through the recession with the money from Man Utd. They have doubled the clubs worth and have produced 100,000,000.00 pound revenue stream. I see them selling in 2 to 5 years. SAF might know more? Wait for the sale them ride into the sunset.

  32. Zibbie says:

Ollie Gunnar found his soul in the Shire. Formed a Hobbit of scoring goals.

  33. SAFrican says:

    Thanks Zibbie!

  34. Sandeep1878 says:

Newcastle 2 up at stoke, both goals by Ba,

yup, have to say magpies are going places, they are gonna be some team if they still play like this post xmas

    there is determionation and drive…

  35. slim says:

    NRD

Fantastic points made on the last thread, and indeed they warrant a ton of merit, unlike my one liners. But it could still happen, like you say if Ole performs wonders in the intervening period .

Secondly for every former player or a relatively young and aspiring manager that didn’t succeed as a coach/manager there’s an example of one that did. As much as i’d like Ole to get the top job if he got Molde relegated or playing piss poor football i’d say no thanks and whew a sigh of relief at dodging a bullet. Then again it could just be a phase, very risky replacing a manager not to mention the current manager of Manchester United.

Third; Fuck the glazers(excuse my language).

Fourthly i hope the manager is still around when/if they sell the club and get us stable again financially without the loans and pik’s, dodgy fund and what have you.

Fifth and final point; would Pep come to United seeing how the mental the owners are, personally i think he’d pass up the chance. Like any ambitious manager he would be tempted but like you said the owner’s don’t listen to the fans- the ones who have a stake in the community and that is a big no no for someone like Pep coming from Barcelona i would imagine. That said i would be happy if he bit the bullet and came to United

  36. Cyril Sneer says:

@Willie – Elvira? The mistress of the dark? Don’t mess with her, she’ll ‘tie your weenie in a granny knot’

  37. Fred says:

How fitting that on Solskjaer Day, Super Gabby Obertan (a player once managed by the great man) would set up a goal for Newcastle with a cross that Ole would have been proud of. Hollywood couldn’t have written this script!

  38. Fred says:

If that wasn’t a crazy enough coincidence, Newcastle’s goals have been scored by Demba Ba – a player with an “A” in his surname! I think Ole is smiling down on the Premier League from his throne in Norway! ;)

  39. WillieRedNut says:

    Oh my Tiote! ;)

    @Cyril

    Cheeky bugger. :)

  40. TonyBee says:

Elvira…she could turn me into a gibbering wreck anytime……

  41. WillieRedNut says:

Take me home Elvira! Near there!

  42. Fred says:

Tiote not involved for the Mags tonight. In unrelated news, SAF spotted having dinner at a Newcastle restaurant with a young black man who was wearing a Groucho Marx disguise…

  43. T4M says:

    i love ole!!

  44. Fred says:

  45. slim says:

good luck to obertan, glad he’s doing well. Wasn’t to be for him with us but good he’s doing the business and showing he can be a quality player

  46. TonyBee says:

I love oles as well….specially them ones with hair round them….tee hee …..
the old ones are the best

  47. WillieRedNut says:

PSG will buy Obertan for 15 million in January. ;)

  48. Fred says:

His head alone is worth £15 million. They won’t get him for less than 30. Hope we have a buy-back clause!

  49. CedarsDevil says:

    Red Neck

Loved your post at 21:20 buddy ….

Evening all, just woke up, still drugged to the bone

  50. TonyBee says:

    stoke just pulled 1 back

  51. CedarsDevil says:

FUCK, Walters can strike a good penalty…. Just the way it should be

  52. Costas says:

Eric Cantona, lol. Ole is getting senile. :P

You know you are old when you’ve watched Ole’s first game for us and now he’s sporting grey hair.

  53. CedarsDevil says:

    TonyBee

What the fuck are you doing here? Should you not be at the ‘agency’ ? Get to work

  54. WillieRedNut says:

Becks on the right….Obertan on the left….Berba up front? Fucking feeder club for the French! ;)

  55. TonyBee says:

just checking on the druggies Cedars….. and making sure Nurses with tight arses get home alright….

  56. TonyBee says:

    dont like Becks…prefer Miller Draught….

  57. JC says:

LOL both those pen calls were crap… but nice job by D3mba Ba and how well is Obertan playing today.

  58. WillieRedNut says:

Ba does it again! Heard he’s got a wooly back? Puts our performance at Stoke in the shade, eh?

  59. CedarsDevil says:

Which fucking cunting cunt told Paul Walsh that he is a pundit of any sorts? Fuck me, the fucking idiot is fucking clueless….. Never mind being a fucking cunting co commentator for fucks sake…

Not tourette’s by any means, I just get a great buzz saying cunt and fuck when I am drugged

    Fuck

  60. Fred says:

    Sell Owen, sign Ba…

  61. Samuel - united WE stand says:

Ok what do united fans think of danny drinkwater? his manager on loan at barnsley has been talking about how talented he is and all that, danny will be back at united in january, so what do people think? capable of fighting for first team place? coming through the academy like welbeck, cleverly, morrison, pogba e.t.c and joining our overall batch of young players?

  62. JC says:

It’s the difference between playing not to lose and just going out and playing.

  63. Fred says:

Quiz question: against which team did Wayne Rooney get his only outing for United sporting a completely bald head?

    http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/03/19/article-1163236-024ACBB9000005DC-618_237x247.jpg

  64. Fred says:

Hat-trick for Ba – Hollywood couldn’t have written this script, Jeff. Neither could Ealing Studios tbf.

Fergie, pull your finger out and get him signed FFS. :x

  65. TonyBee says:

Halloween, the one night Carlos Tevez can walk the streets with pride

  66. CedarsDevil says:

    TonyBee

Fuck was she tight, best fucking cunting ass I ever saw in my life…..Fuck this fucking cunting fuck..

Do say it over and over fellas, very spiritual in a way hahahaha

  67. Samuel - united WE stand says:

Fred – actually ba wouldn’t be a bad fourth choice, he has always been a talented striker since his hoffeinheim days, continued at westham and now banging them in for the magpies.

They’ll be hard to beat on their own ground and even when they’re away, newcastle have made some shrewd quality signings so i’m not Suprised with how they’re playing but early days yet.

  68. CedarsDevil says:

Ba? sort of sounds like Ha….. Gradually becoming a favorite word of mine

    ha? ba? Fucking hilarious

  69. WillieRedNut says:

    West Brom. 8)

  70. Samuel - united WE stand says:

Typical stoke, they sweat blood just to get a point against united but newcastle turn up and they lie down, i think they’re getting predictable now, everyone knows their weapon of mass destruction in delap, long ball and never ending long busting running, everyone knows and are prepared for it.

  71. WillieRedNut says:

    Ha! Ba! Wa? ;)

  72. CedarsDevil says:

    da?

  73. T4M says:

    http://lockerz.com/s/152135150 MG,ive got a treat for you

  74. CedarsDevil says:

At some stage in their lives someone said to Alan Curbishley and Andy Townsend that they were intellectual……. How fucking deluded, what a pair of cunting cunts

    Stupid fucking idiots

  75. Costas says:

He was nearly bald for a short period around 08-09. Like willie says, that’s photo is probably from the West Brom, but I also remember him sporting the Stam look at Celtic. :)

At least his hair grew stronger after that. ;)

  76. CedarsDevil says:

Anyone here offended by foul language I apologize, just cannot help it at the moment

  77. WillieRedNut says:

    Ta!

  78. CedarsDevil says:

Watching that video in the thread again…….. Bugger has a Mancunian accent as well!!

  79. CedarsDevil says:

    la? Means no in Lebanese

ah… Well its usually the sound made by females if they are having a good time in bed…

Fucking lazy cunts, give your women a good time in bed you lazy fucks

  80. shebangsthedrums says:

Gotta love Ole, congrats to the man. Anyone watching the Alex Ferguson programme on ESPN classic?

  81. Fred says:

Sorry guys, looks like I was wrong. I was thinking about a game against Hull in 08/09

    http://m.gmgrd.co.uk/res/428.$plit/C_71_article_1078744_image_list_image_list_item_0_image.jpg?10%2F11%2F2008%2013%3A21%3A01%3A495

However, it has been brought to my attention that he was “rocking a clean baldy” against West Ham a few days later too…

  82. Fred says:

So you were both wrong, but then again so was I.

New question! What is curious about the first picture I posted of slaphead Rooney, at 22:47?

  83. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

When were you ever right? Just saying

  84. Fred says:

You give up, don’t you? Okay, it’s that the PL badge on his sleeve appears to be white, when we were in fact Champions during both seasons we wore that kit.

  85. Fred says:

However, after extensive scrutiny of the picture, I have deduced that it is in fact a trick of the light. Another mystery solved by Fred. 8)

    http://images-mediawiki-sites.thefullwiki.org/01/3/8/7/6773653149961336.gif

  86. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

You should just give up buddy…. Sounding clueless to be honest :-)

And yes of course I am taking the piss here….

  87. WillieRedNut says:

    Stay off the hooch Fred.

  88. Fred says:

Ah well, can’t win ‘em all! :)

  89. FletchTHEMAN says:

Breaking news that Tomaz Kuszczak is under consideration by Sunderland (aka UnitedB) to shore up Brucies diminishing keeper corp.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2055857/Sunderland-want-Tomasz-Kuszczak-emergency-loan.html

Interesting. Could be very good for both parties. I feel something honorable needs doing with Kuz as he has been good enough servant to this club.

  90. CedarsDevil says:

Safe to announce that Fred has officially lost ‘it’

Last I heard he was looking for ‘it’

  91. Fred says:

“Sunderland play United on Saturday. Kuszczak had a discussion with boss Sir Alex Ferguson yesterday and is hopeful of a chance to play.”

Wow, can you imagine the conspiracy theories if he plays and has a howler?

    Brucey, Brucey, sign him up!

  92. WillieRedNut says:

    What is it?

  93. FletchTHEMAN says:

Fred, With even Amos in for Aldershot, think the idea of Kuz playing again are well and truly behind us. Best of luck to him.

  94. RedScot says:

Brilliant montage of articles and video clips over the last two days.Sensational.
Still the most cutting edge United forum with up to the minute news.

  95. CedarsDevil says:

Good night my friends and again I apologize for the over use of foul language…. Trust me, the drugs I am on are so powerful that they make me forget my own name…..

What is my name by the way? hahaha

    Love you all

  96. FletchTHEMAN says:

Night Cedars. Hear Kim Kardashian is available for that open care giver position

  97. Red Neville says:

If, as Fergie said we played like champions to get a point at Stoke – what did Newcastle play like to win there tonight?

  98. WillieRedNut says:

Kim’s dairy air is most def having a positive affect on the world.

  99. WillieRedNut says:

    Super champions?

  100. FletchTHEMAN says:

Some twits that we are in for Mascherano. Hope its just the typical horrible lie. Antithesis of class in my view. NOT united quality.

Halloween and trying to scare the children.

  101. Samuel - united WE stand says:

Redneville – you would expect stoke to play their skins out against united, i think stoke just didn’t turn up against newcastle.

  102. Alom says:

    20LEGEND!!!

  103. JC says:

@Stateside – You’ll be happy to know that Newscorp/Fox and DTV worked out a new multi-year contract as of 8pm tonight and FSC/FSP will remain on the air tomorrow.

  104. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

I’m gonna cry tears of joy for Ole. That man. Oh. So adorable top class fantastic wonderful man. Is there anybody capable of hating him? Even rival fans? He’s just so awesome I can’t stand it. I hope Chicharito ends up like him. You know end his career here and celebrate his retirement with a managing stint at Chivas.

  105. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

    @fletchtheman

Scares the children? No mate it scared me. Almost killed me eh.
