    What a f***ing twat…

  2. Corea says:

all for the team, what a team player!

  3. evras left boot says:

How i hate this man ! i bet there will be no further mention of this in the media however if it was a united player im sure it would be slated as a “shameful dive”

  4. King Eric says:

He is a cunt of the highest order.

  5. schmikes1 says:

    filth

  6. HARGREAVES' CURLY HAIR says:

    @evras left boot
spot on mate. what can we say about the ABU media. they’re a fucking bunch of pathetic haters who have nothing useful to put on their pathetic newspapers. you’re hate makes us stronger! it’s funny how these people could slate wazza one game and then hope he can help them to world cup glory! those guys are unbelievable.

  7. NicoQB says:

    The Clash!!!

  8. jpg says:

    Scum

  9. King Eric says:

NicoQB – Yeah I noticed that mate. Top band.

  10. denton davey says:

Let’s be fair, guys. There was a rush of air from the Blackburn player’s foot which created a windstorm that threw StevieGBH off-balance. A superbly-conditioned athlete is susceptible to these unexpected bouts of turbulence.

  11. theboogeyman says:

denton davey- That seems to be a fair assessment.

    GERRARD DOESN’T DIVE!

  12. bytor13 says:

On a related note: Ronaldo was sent off for diving in the RM game yesterday.

  13. giggs11gerrard0 says:

what ryhmes with Gerrard ? Cunt!

  14. loughie21 says:

guys come on, lets be fair… if you had David N’Gog as your main goal scoring threat you’d realise you have to dive too! :D

  15. Rewind says:

@ Bytor13….What game were you watching??
Ronaldo was not sent off for diving, he was sent off cause he kicked out at another player after he was struck by him.

If your going to criticize someone at least get your facts straight before you do it!!

  16. Scott the Red says:

Bytor – Ronaldo got whacked around the back of the head so then he kicked him in retaliation. Hardly diving.

  17. Brian says:

Scott, link this one up too.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVthv1RqHqo

It’s a bloody compilation video of the twat!!

  18. King Eric says:

Thank fuck we don’t have the histrionics of Ronaldo to put up with anymore.

  19. brett1985 says:

Must bring back memories of Istanbul for Liverpool fans.

  20. bchilds says:

The biggest diver the Premier League has ever seen – not my words but the results of a poll ran by fivelive asking who was the biggest diver.

Saint Stevie Me came top, I think 2nd was Pires and 3rd Dogbreath/Ronaldo. Can’t quite remember but Saint Stevie was certainly 1st!

  21. scousebuster says:

am not surprised at all, hes always been a cheating dipper but the press wont pick up on it, if it had been a Utd player…………..

  22. bchilds says:

Just watched MOTD (yea I know I’m far behind), commentator completely bottled it “well, just how much contact was there” that’s all they can say against Saint Stevie!

    Ha, what a joke.

  23. Shurik says:

stupid cunt. But this is their year. So what not to dive for a chance to get 3 points. There is nothing else they can do. Stupid scousers

  24. sir ryan giggs says:

just found out – biggest diver in history of the premier league.
    Dumb ass scousers.

Good work stevie, your my god you wuss. Freak of nature.
HIs dive is another accomplishments of his as well as Ngog’s 2 yard open goal miss.
Pure class from liverpool, good work lads

  25. bchilds says:

Just flicked through the paper, no mention in that either of the dive. Biased media are a bunch of cunts, all this just makes it sweeter when we lift no.19!

  26. MozzerAnt says:

That nauseating Gerrard is a cheat and a dispicable thug. Typical of them of course. I mean even our Morrissey can’t appear there without some tool throwing bottles at him.

  27. bytor13 says:

@Rewind @Scott – Sorry, I was half watching the highlights this morning and could’ve sworn the host said he’d dove. Either way, its not as though that sort of situation would have been unimaginable. I’m still surprised, though, that StevieMe doesn’t get more “credit” for his “skills”.

  28. Scott the Red says:

Bytor – the difference between Ronaldo and Gerrard though is that Ronaldo doesn’t go around preaching saying he would never dive and that if someone in his team did it he would have a go and that diving is ruining football.

Liverpool fans sing about Gerrard being “fucking hard”. It’s just a bit embarrassing for them really.

  29. King Eric says:

Just been listening to shit house Alvin Martin and the other toe rags on Talkshite trying to defend him. “He was waiting for the contact that never came, it wasn’t a dive, that is harsh”. Fuck off with your constant protection of this dirty scum bag cunt. Grow some balls.

  30. bytor13 says:

@Scott – I agree with you about Gerrard being a hypocrite. You can’t blame Liverpool fans, though. Rhyming “Gerrard” with another word must be hard for them. Ha! I’m a Utd fan btw, I wasn’t trying to bag on Ronaldo, just thought it was related. Guess I was wrong.

  31. Fze123 says:

Nothing about it in any of the papers today. Typical fuckers. What a way to mark his 500th appearance, with a starfish dive.

  32. Fze123 says:

Btw, has anyone read piers fucking morgan’s team of the decade. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-1233518/PIERS-MORGAN-My-team-decade–theres-place-Keano.html

He picks Gary Neville as the best RB although he loathes ‘his pinched Mancunian features and his horrifically irritating personality’. How is this guy a journalist, and seems to get way with writing things like that? This is not the first time. He’s always insulting and disrespectful when writing about Utd. The daily shite is full of his kind.

  33. Stretty says:

Old creasehead is one of the biggest cheats in the Premier League but the press very rarely pick up on it.

Last night there were several replays on Match of the Day of the Hreidarsson dive in the Portsmouth, yet I only saw one replay of Gerrard’s and there was no mention of the word ‘dive’, despite there being no contact.

Goals on Sunday was much better, they had Neil Warnock on and he said Gerrard is always diving.

We need more honesty in the punditry these days, particularly when England players are involved. They seem to have become a protected species in the modern era and the media would have us believe it’s only ever those naughty foreign players that dive and cheat.

  34. Aig alex is god says:

Gerrard is a quality player no doubt but this is something he has done many times now.the fact is because of this the likes of drogba gerrard ronaldo are loved by many but also hated by an equal number of people and this is what separates them from player like giggsy who is respected by all.

  35. Stretty says:

    @Fze123

Piers Morgan is an Arsenal fan and doesn’t try to hide his bias. The reason he’s still in a job is that his style of writing is very provocative and controversial. Whether you like it or not the man sells papers and that’s why they keep him on the payroll. The same reason turds like Alan Green can stay on the radio. They’re controversial and they get people ringing up to argue the toss.

  36. Giles Oakley says:

Great analysis from Denton Davey. It’s like the occasion when the legendary Victorian cricketer WG Grace was once clean bowled. He just picked up the bails , put them back on the stumps and said, ‘Nasty wind umpire’, and carried on. No-one had the temerity to insist he was Out.

Great video, by the way. Hearing The Clash brought back many happy memories. Maybe it’s time to bring back gobbing for Mr ‘Diving is Ruining the Game’ Gerrard. Splat! That’s one for you Stevie Me!

Oh perhaps I should say, I never gobbed myself, and I would in no way advocate gobbing at a respected England player like Stevie Gerrard.

    Splat!

    Oops…

  37. rooninho says:

how does he get away with it? seriously. the milan one was one of the worst of all time because the whole world saw that disgraceful dive not only go unpunished but fucking rewarded with the trophy in the end.

how the fuck does he get away with it?!

btw- clash song was brilliant, but please don’t combine songs from one of my all time favorite bands with video of this twat anymore!

  38. READ CAREFULLY WHAT I says:

I would love it if the next time he dives all the defenders just run up to him and kick him to fuck like Sonny does to his Sisters husband in the Godfather.

A right good fucking kicking is exactly what he needs and so much the better if he throws himself to the ground to make the job easier.

If the ref and the linesmen joined in that would be an even better lesson for him. Perhaps the guy from the bar who he attacked could run on the pitch and give him a kick in the balls.

I tried to see if this was possible on the Playstation but I think you need to know a cheat to do it.

  39. Tony Starks says:

face it – England players don’t dive – whether it’s Gerrard, Owen or any other player… It’s only a issue with foreigners…

  40. trevor says:

Stevie G has been a prolific diver for years.

Although it is nice to rip him to shreads this will be labled at us at some point.

For me if i had to be honest, Rooneys Penalty against portsmouth he droped very very quickly, same sort of action both feet leave the ground behind you.

Differnence there was that there was slight contact with rooney and the defender and as soon as rooney felt it he was down! For me if i was honest, i would hate a pen against us like that.

I think their should be a name and shame pannel. Either giving out match bans or maybe forcing the Guilty party to review the footage and explain what he sees..Dont think it would work although something has to be done!!

  41. Red Army says:

    England players don’t dive.

Apart from Wazza, according to the papers.

  42. rooninho says:

    @rcwis

i love the sonny corleone example! might i also add, if only he could get beaten with a metal rubbish bin as well! or just have him flat out strangled with a cord like michael corleone had done to him. i think that might stop the diving.

never choose sides against the united family.

  43. Xyth says:

The cheat remains a cheat. He would probably beat even Terry Henry in All Cheat Hall of Fame.

If this had been a United player, old farts at FA would have banned him.

  44. Hughsie88 says:

    @Bytor13

I can think of many things that rhyme with Gerrard:

    Hunt
    Punt
    Aunt
    flick
    sick
    cat
    hat
    fat

  45. John Ferry says:

Also, I believe he once stated that his favorite album/cd was Deo’s, Holy Diver.

  46. John Ferry says:

@READ CAREFULLY WHAT.lol. Someone should tell, “You can act like a man.” !!! Vito Corleone style.

  47. Rob the Red says:

Hello all, on this very site a day or two ago people were on about supporting England next summer. Are those same people still wanting to get behind ANY team with this cheating prick in it? Not a fuckin’ chance in this little bit of the home of the champions.

  48. READ CAREFULLY WHAT I says:

    @rooninho

It would be great to let him have it with a bin lid – can you imagine how difficult it would be to get hold of one of them at a Liverpool game?

It would be easier to take a shield from a Spartan warrior.

  49. rooney the new king says:

    bytor13
well is showed you did not watch the game when he was sent off, dont just all of a sudden think he was sent off for diving.

is it me or was the liverpool game not even showed by MOTD aanything to do with the fact that liverpool are finished and gerrard diving they did not want to talk about it

  50. rooninho says:

    @rcwis

true. finding a bin lid there must mean that some poor scouse bastard is missing the roof of their house!

  51. rooninho says:

    tim howard!

spurs blow yet another big lead. what a save!

  52. Mahesh says:

I have to say – completely of topic – that Louis Saha is one of the former United players that i feel genuinely happy for. He is playing superb football right now, and I seriously wouldn’t mind him back in the squad. I can only wonder what a fully fit Saha could have offered us!

  53. Mahesh says:

Rooney the new king – I was thinking just that. I watched MOTD last night (i usually don’t) just because the fact that almost everything went our way yesterday would make those wankers on the panel uncomfortable. Highly disappointed that they conveniently avoided the liverpool game and that gerrard dive!

  54. READ CAREFULLY WHAT I says:

@rooninho – LOL nice one mate.
Scousers live in bins and eat rats and shoot kids and murder foreign fans and cheat and steal and scrounge benefits and smell and speak funny and smell and are ugly and spread disease and have a chip on their shoulder and bang on about the fucking Beatles and I fucking hate every last one of the cunts.

  55. Ashish says:

Shameful.Did the referee book him for that dive?Or did he not notice at all.

  56. aig alex is god says:

    RCWIS

Top form mate.some cracking posts. couldnt agree more with you about the dippers.Cunts of the highest order all of them , stevie mee, ladyboy and that united supporting cunt carra.god knows how he gets away with all those fouls

  57. hustler says:

it’s one thing to hate a player for playing on a rival team. but stevie me is just a despicable human being, all around. the guy has absolutely no redeeming qualities

  58. brwah says:

Oh, and I guess Rooney’s not hypocritical when he says
‘Everyone who watches me play knows I am an honest player,’ Rooney said.

‘I have never intentionally tried to dive. In fact, there have been times when I have tried to stay on my feet and get the shot off rather than go down.

‘It isn’t fair for players to dive and try to cheat the other team. And it is not just cheating your opponents, you are cheating the fans as well.’

    http://www.offthepost.info/2009/09/top-five-wayne-i-would-never-dive-rooney-dives/

  59. King Eric says:

aig – Was just about to say the same thing then saw your post. The Godfather one was the best. And you are right about Giggsy being respected by everyone to do with Football and all fans of all clubs. The same could just about be said of Scholes. Don’t know anyone that dislikes him or does not rate him.

Great point for Everton. For some reason I don’t mind Everton. Probably because of our mutual loathing of the vermin.

  60. rooninho says:

    the pride of liverpool:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GKXAKQY-0Y

    enjoy!

  61. aig alex is god says:

    King Eric.

Forgot Scholesy but he too is one of those rare players. cant remember anyone who dislikes those 2 .unfortunately they are a dying breed. there arent many top honest footballers around at the moment. certainly not in the premier League.

What a record Giggsy has, in 800 odd appearences he has never been sent off. that is some record. Never given the credit he deserves.cant understand why people rate the likes of Figo ahead of him. he had 3-4 good years. Thats it.and when he was 36 he was warming the bench at San Siro while giggsy starts regularly and produces top drawer peformances. The sad part for Giggs is he has always been surrounded by players who have been better but not lasted long enough from cantona to becks to ronaldo. Ronaldo may get the plaudits but he will never be as respected like Giggs.

  62. HARGREAVES' CURLY HAIR says:

    @RCWI
spot on about the dippers. don’t forget to mention they are burgulars and steal tickets in european games!
stevie me is a cunt and is one of the dirtyest divers the game has ever seen.
guys what’s this supposed interest from dzeko in my opinion we don’t need anyone and it won’t help buying him in jan when our young strikers are all looking to gain momentum. anyway i think dzeko is overrated. hope to see mickey owen in more games. saha when fit is world class.

  63. aig alex is god says:

    HARGREAVES’ CURLY HAIR

dzeko is a very good striker acc to me. can hold the ball well and is good at heading adn is just 23. if we can get him rooney will be able to play in the hole behind the main man which he likes to do.if we can get dzeko for 15-20 million we should go for him. saying that however i dont think he will move in jan plus he wants to play for milan and we have got berba and owen too. they are 29 and 30 but still very good. plus rooney is playing more as a striker in the last few games so i will be happy even if we dont buy anyone. maybe we can go shopping in the summer if (hopefully) the cash is there.i am losing the liitle faith i had in the glazers. The debt is an issuewhich needs to be addressed sooner rather than later

  64. King Eric says:

rooninho – All those dives were much worse than anything Ronaldo did but they are just swept under the carpet.

aig – Evening. Spot on about Giggsy. Once he retires which I hope isn’t for another 2 or 3 seasons , then he will get all the plaudits. Top top player and we are blessed to have such players like him, Scholesy and Nev. Next after that we have Wes, Fletch, O’Shea and to an extent Rooney. Then hopefully the likes of Evans, Wellbeck, Gibson etc. Finally I think since Ronaldo’s departure Giggs in particular has really stepped up out of his shadow to be the main man. He has been outstanding this season.

  65. King Eric says:

aig – I really don’t believe their is no money to spend. It is a myth. Only 3 months ago Fergie was ready to shell out 35 million on the mercenary French lad. If Dzeko impresses again on Tuesday it wouldn’t surprise me if a deal is done for the summer. Phelan has been speaking quite highly of him and confirmed United were probably one of the clubs looking at him. I haven’t seen much of him to be honest put he had a good game at Old Trafford. He is a handful and much like the old fashioned centre forward. He certainly knows where the goal is. Has scored 13 in 21 so far and as we know 36 last season. His Bosnia goal to game ratio is impressive as well.

  66. rooninho says:

    @king eric

gerrard is ridiculous. it’s like he has tourette’s syndrome when it comes to diving. anyway, just a video response to the post from brwah.

btw- don’t like it when rooney or any other united player goes down too easily either, but i still say we’re much better about it than other clubs.

  67. Aig alex is god says:

King eric.maybe something has gone wrong in the last few months(hope not).the ljajic deal cancellation too seems mystifying.we could have been patient and applied later for a work permit.seems it was not in fergies hand.i hope the debt thing is not a worry.as for dzeko he will be a good addition but we may milan too may come in the summer and we may miss out.i dont mind if we dont buy anyone in jan with rio and hargo to come back.presently the nani situation is the most puzzling.cant even get a start in the carling cup? Valencia and giggsys form arent doing him any good either.

  68. arsene wenger says:

thats a good dive,he should have got a penalty for that

  69. King Eric says:

aig – I think Nani’s days are numbered mate. One thing I meant to say. Am I right in thinking Dzeko hasn’t much pace?

  70. rooney the new king says:

    King Eric
I was watching higlights of MOTD and even though they were praising scholes saying he was the best of the bunch that came through in 93 despite how great scholes has been he has not been has good as giggs, I mean giggs is at 36 not only playing some of the best football at 36. he is effecting and being the difference, while scholes has been up and down for a couple of years, giggs for me is the best of his generation but its hard to say is he better than sir bobby.

  71. arsene wenger says:

last year they said giggs was the best, when talk of neville retiring starts then they will say nev is the best, its just a fucking bunch of mugs struggling to talk about someone nicely other than stevie gizzard or england captain J-bnp-T @rooney the new king

  72. Aig alex is god says:

King eric.not the quickest by any means but has decent pace and good at finishing.it is his striking partner grafite who is very quick.dzeko usually dosent do much running but is in and around the box waiting for the crosses to come in.would be ideal foil for wazza though

  73. Aig alex is god says:

Arsene wenger.what are you doing here? Got over the 3 0 stuffing last weekend so soon? Teach your pathetic loser boss how to be gracious in defeat and offer a handshake

  74. arsene wenger says:

in 500 games mr wenger has given 498 handshakes, mark hughes is one of those, perhaps he should explain what he said while running into mr wengers technical area to grab the ball for a quick throw in, but nope they would rather talk about ex arsenal midfielder steve sidwell interfering in play by doing what hughes did! AIG anyway hows tricks? you know what itslike, all about the next game!

  75. Macheda is GOD says:

I went on youtube and searched
Dzeko 08/09 season (since they won the league last season)
    Apparently he scored 26 goals!
We could have a great singing here…

  76. Ulster Red says:

if dzeko wants to go to milan fuck him!! if not then id be happy with him in the squad

  77. arsene wenger says:

that dzeko is a good player, scored 13 goals this season so far

  78. Macheda is GOD says:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGWd8oF3g68
Ulster red we can only try look at ronaldo 6 years of great he started yapping at the 4th year…

  79. Macheda is GOD says:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGWd8oF3g68
    WOW
(im not spamming its not showing on my screen if its the 3rd time this has shown)

  80. Aig alex is god says:

Arsene wenger.i guess you should be worried about your next game.dippers away isnt it? Fear a backlash with torres back.drogba scores 2 yet he didnt do anything in the game.sore loser.wonder what excuse wenger will give when you end trophyless as urual in may.

  81. arsene wenger says:

    hustler Said,
    December 6th, 2009 @19:23

it’s one thing to hate a player for playing on a rival team. but stevie me is just a despicable human being, all around. the guy has absolutely no redeeming qualities

this is the greatest post iv ever read, this is what i have been trying to explain/say for the last 3 or 4 years, magnifique

  82. rooninho says:

    @aig

i think we can all be worried about the current debt, but the glazers have no other choice but to invest in players for the club. the only thing keeping their heads above water are the fantastic results of the last few seasons. if the results on the pitch begin to decline even slightly they will be ruined. therefore money must always be ready when we truly need it on transfers.

still not going to get gloomy about it. manchester united are the biggest brand name in world sport. there must be a line of would-be rich investors a mile long waiting for the chance to own a club like united. the glazers would have no trouble selling off their control if it came to that.

if a shit club like city can get a sheik to bankroll their ascendancy, imagine how many other oil barons would like to throw zillions at manchester united to gain control. the glazers are just waiting for that big profitable buyout at this point.

at least i hope this is the current situation.

  83. arsene wenger says:

AIG read some better quotes, drogba didnt do a lot but scored twice, wenger is correct, shows the quality of the player. AIG no excuses,i have not heard any, youshould look at your sources more closely

  84. Aig alex is god says:

Arsene wenger.was your comment at 20:32 aimed at those fools on MOTD?

  85. arsene wenger says:

so rooninho, lets just say if united didnt finish in the top four, the glazers would have to take action and bring the money in somehow but how? or would they loan further?

  86. lyndhurst red says:

Maybe it time the Premier league & F.A. asked the scouse scum what they = as a club, are going to do about the amount of high profile driving by their players.
Gerrard (club captain and England play )
    N’gog v Birmingham
Because at the end of the day they are cheating

  87. arsene wenger says:

aig correct, match of the day, shearer and hansen particular, i know you lot dont likelee dixon but i think his amatueristic no biased is preffered

  88. Aig alex is god says:

Arsene wenger.well he scored twice? Thats what matters i guess.you dont get points for passing beautifully around the box but need someone to put the ball in the back of the net.thats what a striker has to do

  89. Ulster Red says:

    Macheda is GOD
i hear what your saying, milan are on the downfall aswell, strange that he would want to go there

  90. arsene wenger says:

phil thompson also of sky sports news, notice they have taken him off of liverpool games during soccer saturday for biased screams everytime liverpool fans scream for throwins like john barnes just had his tights ripped off from behind behind clean through on goal, another twat on telly

  91. Aig alex is god says:

Arsene wenger.sorry mate.i thought it was aimed at us for speaking about giggsy.you cant praise someone like hin enough.my mistake for not reading the comment properly.

  92. arsene wenger says:

aig, this is it, drogba he doesnt do alot, but what he does do he usually does properly, look against man city, he had 3 or 4 clear chances missed them all,but performed quite well bringing his mates into the game, where as against us he had only a couple touches of the ball without losin it and scored both times,so 2 games it takes to show the real drogba

  93. rooninho says:

    @venger

that’s my point. if they can’t control the debt and the results drop, they will be forced to sell. they can’t afford to have the team not be able to buy players. it’s either keep up the current standards and maintain enough profit to keep their credit manageable, or sell the club.

if man city, notts county, birmingham, etc. are being bought up be rich investors wanting to get into english football, manchester united would be the crown jewel acquisition for any sheik or roman abramovich type.

  94. arsene wenger says:

aig,i was chatting to some friends, and on the subject of which footballer could walk through britain, into any pub,or any street, without getting punched in the face ,we decided giggs was the only player with a chance, there wasnt no man utd fans in this conversation, he is a good character

  95. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

I’m ata reading the 93 comments already attached to this post and I must say I’m ashamed by everyone on this site. 93 different posts and not one of you heartless people once asked if he was Stevie starfish was ok. The poor guy looked like he took a bad gun shot to the back of his knee in that clip that could end the livelyhood of a football and a “father?” of a young child before Christmas time that’s tough in scouse land as it is. LET THEM KNOW ITS CHRISTMAS TIME

  96. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

    Wenger
I’d also put Jimmy bullard in that

  97. Aig alex is god says:

Ulster red.milan doing well now.2nd behind inter.pato, ronaldinho and seedorf in great form.players have strange dreams sometimes.roo wanted to go to real and they were shit last season.still are crap

  98. arsene wenger says:

the only thing about the shieks is rooninho, they seem to buy the cheapest clubs that dont own the grounds, the russians too, they just buy any rubbish club for peanuts, buy players and if they get bored they can just walk( i suspect eventually) and then ask for the money they loaned the CLUB to be paid back, ideally the glazers have packed the club with debt but if their plan is sensible long term it could work out better? possibly?

  99. arsene wenger says:

tiny tears, we never thought of jimmy, but at the time eduardo had a cast fresh on hisleg an we agreed at that point that even an english soccer yob may buy him a pint for his troubles, but then we decided nah a spud would deck him

  100. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

Wenger I’d defo of got the poor guy a pint, Aldo when it comes to your manager not shaking soneonea hand , there’s a few thongs that sum up that man, fantastic fantastic manager and a poor loser but some of the things that have been said about him is stupid the guy seems to be a moody gent, a sulk who’d do you know harm and for him to not shake sparkys hand then there must be an underlining thing that happened in the game that wenger taught he’s not worth a hand shake

  101. Ulster Red says:

    Aig alex is god
yeah but really the italians arnt as good as past years, there would be so many other clubs around europe that would be rated as above any milan club

  102. HARGREAVES' CURLY HAIR says:

    @GHTT
    lol brilliant mate.
    @aig alex is god
you’re possibly right mate. he had a good game here at OT in the champions league.
guys i’m just asking myself why the fuck did the glazers buy united with insufficient funds? it is mainly and purely their fault united is in huge debt! before them united were probably the debt free club in the world. now we can’t buy players we want bcos they have to refinance the loans they took out. you see once they leave i’d personally like to see them get the amount they invested rather than the value of the club cos that would be robbing us of our success in recent seasons! it’s absolute RUBBISH!
    united>glazers

  103. Aig alex is god says:

Ulster red.of spain italy and england italians are struggling the most.unless handed a favourable draw none of those 2 or 3 or 4 clubs will enter the last 4.watching them makes me fall asleep.

  104. Macheda is GOD says:

The lad was what 15? when milan were unbeaten for 59 matches…wont blame him just like benzema on madrid
nah i wont blame the young ones wanting madrid, barca (soon) and milan

  105. Macheda is GOD says:

    http://www.studs-up.com/
why arsene didnt shake hughe’s hand.
    lol

  106. arsene wenger says:

tiny tears, basically,it has been said that mark hughes walked across the arsenal technical area to retrieve the ball and when arsene wenger gestered a WHATS HE DOING to the 4th official (after mark hughes spent half the game demanding arsenal players be sent off) mark hughes turned and said something along the lines of, F**k OFF you F**kING OLD FUCKING FR*NCH C*NT, at the time it was 0-0 just before half time an wenger decided then ok damage done! part of it was actually caught on camera

  107. Ulster Red says:

    aig
yeah definately the “top four” on their day in england and “top 2″ in spain are stronger than the italians, even though the dippers where beat by fiorintina

  108. rooninho says:

    @a.wenger.

well, you make sense but it’s all speculation at this point innit? it just seems that the way english football is going these days is for ridiculously rich business types to be buying clubs at all levels. none of us have any money to buy these clubs which we love and cherish, and instead there will always be some rich bastard in control, choosing to buy and sell any club on a whim, not just these newly rich clubs.

that being said, if it came down to the sheiks or an abramovich type having the opportunity to buy manchester united full price or fucking city at a cut rate, i don’t think there is even a choice there. why would they buy cheap but then have to throw in another 200 mil to try to pretty up a dog turd of a club like city? (which is just the starting volley of money) when you can buy class, history, the largest fan base in the world, a money making machine, and a club dedicated to winning in every fiber of its being- the way united are?

    @hargo

it’ll be alright mate. manchester united will never die. the glazers will either maintain or be forced to sell, they’ll have no choice.

  109. arsene wenger says:

thing about it is, mark hughes is one of them managers on the edge, i cant wait for him to throttle someone, you can tell theres managers he hates and teams he hates and for all the money spent and all the players he bought, thing is it works for hughes, good luck to him,but by the end of the season somepoor proper manager will have the job of offloading 130million pounds of dogshit off man shitty that sparky bought to get actual efficient players in, hughes may end up at mk dons if he is lucky

  110. arsene wenger says:

thing is it shows power, them shieks would like to say we bought city,we destryoed man united, chelsea liverpool, arsenal, buy man united and its just a maintenance job for a rich man, the board room sure is pretty but you dont really get to flex your muscles rooninho,it would just be united rumblin on

  111. arsene wenger says:

if united go up for sale though im sure a few private jets will be boarded, a few major consortiums on red alert, no doubt about it,but everyone wants to be an abramovich, but abromivich made a club with no history into a club with modern history,he wouldnt have gained glory from manchester united because united expect where as chelsea were just hopin, maybe not even hopin, possibly resigned to being crap when he turned up,their still a dog turd club with debts@ rooninho

  112. rooninho says:

    @a wenger

i see your point, but there’s also a reason why rich folks buy ferraris and lamborghinis and not just fix up an old chevy camaro on the cheap. when roman bought up chelski, plus they weren’t exactly at the bottom of the pile.

also, manchester united just rumblin on is one of the most unique and beautiful things in the entire world!

anyway, not too worried about the future of our lot.

  113. arsene wenger says:

they werent bottom of the pile, but they were about to do a leeds united, they were cheap as chips, abramovich looked at spurs and arsenal and decided both were too expensive, and at the time arsenal were in a good position,if someone threw abramovichs money onto the team we would have been pretty large by now@rooninho plus i think we made him mad by spending 500k only compared to his 120mill on ranieri and becoming invincible, chelsea dont even own their own pitch, thats why its such a sandbox, the real original chelsea fans wont sell it to rom incase he builds a casino

  114. Bebeto says:

Wait, so he did dive? The lack of reaction suggested otherwise. I was incensed by the dive so much for knowing that it would be neglected.

Here’s a question for you all: In 30 pages of RAWK’s post-match thread, how many times is Captain Hypocrite criticised for his action? 40 times? 35 times? How about 30, leaving it at a respectable once-per-page?

    All wrong. It’s five.

  115. rooninho says:

    @a wenger

fair enough. like i said its all speculation at this point. whichever way it all plays out, the glazers will have to either buy the necessary players and maintain the level where we’re at now, or sell the club. either way, as is the common belief around here- manchester united will never die.

  116. arsene wenger says:

rooninho,or they could strip the clubs assets ,or they could have backed up their loan against future ticket sales like leeds did, who knows, united will be alrite though, they will just service their debts, their good for it!

  117. Andy @ Arsenal FC Blog says:

Now that’s a video everybody can enjoy.

    Nice one Scott :)

  118. Red Army says:

Always good footy chat when you come on this site. Obviously agree with your posts about Giggsy and City.

  119. rooninho says:

    @a wenger

as i understand it first option would be for the lending bank to gain control of the board and then next step would be to assume majority control of the club. and yeah they would start to take money from potential ticket sales.

however, with all the debt incurred by the glazers, united still make a pile of money. it’s not that the club isn’t a hugely profitable money making machine, it is the interest payments which have caused a problem. the lenders would either sell the club to another potential owner at a huge profit, or choose to liquidate the club but would then lose all the yearly revenue that they could make from merely controlling it and waiting for a suitable owner to take it off of them. so united going into administration like leeds doesn’t make sense in any realistic scenario.

honestly it wouldn’t even get that far, because the glazers would first sell the club instead of letting it get to the point where they lose control and ruin themselves and the club financially. true, the club is the collateral here, but they wouldn’t start this endeavor in the first place if they wouldn’t see a profit. selling the club before it loses them money is the only thing that makes sense for the glazers financially.

again, it is just all speculation at this point. it all needs to play out. also, if you are just going to counter with doom and gloom like,” well united might be ruined” “yeah but united might also get ruined” “or united might get chopped up and ruined,” insinuating type of responses, cheers! go ahead and have your laugh, i’m over having to do this tennis match like back and forth posting thing.

whatever the case, our season looks quite good and i’m not worried. but i suspect you’re the type who will always need to have to have the last word on any subject, so go ahead. an arsenal fan on this blog makes for interesting banter.

  120. King Eric says:

Bebeto – Are you surprised pal? Someone posted a montage of his dives last night and there was that one where the crowd are saying “You shoulda dived Steeeevie la”. and “he should have dived he would have got a pen”. They actually embrace it mate.

  121. arsene wenger says:

i never said united may get ruined, they could get ruined,id be suprised if they did, they make too much money, the club isnt losing money, the owners just took a large loan to aquire the club but they aint stupid obviously because of the wealth they have achieved, im not doom and glooming united, merely just the pro’s and cons of sugar daddys who LOAN the club cash against those who loan from the banks, where as the banks want their repayments, the sugar daddys can ask for their money back or start flogging the assets at any point, haha rooninho your far too suspicious

  122. Costas says:

The media have done an excellent job of covering up Stevie Me’s despicable dives. I was talking to my best mate who supports Liverpool, he hasn’t had the chance to watch a lot of football due to obligations, yet he was surprised that Gerrard dives!

If you are someone who doesn’t follow football regulary, you have heard all about Ronaldo and Drogba’s diving. But for some weird reason, journalists(outside the UK as well) fail to mention anything about this cunt. I guess we should be thankful they allowed his assault charge to make the headlines…

  123. arsene wenger says:

Costas how you doing mate, the scousers say that gerrard does it for the love of his club, but in eduardo’s case he isnt exactly arsenal through and through so his motivations are different, that was one version i got from a scouser

  124. Costas says:

    @arsene wenger :

Hey mate. Good to see you here. Thanks for reminding us of the Eduardo case. I still remember the media uproar about that dive. I think Arsenal will safely through anyway. Yet Stevie Me attempting to steal 3 points from a team battling for relegation is no big deal.

Personally, i prefer the way people like Roy Keane or Tony Adams showed their love for their club. I think that’s a poor excuse to cover it up. To be honest, i can accept a player diving. Just don’t act like you are on a high horse.

  125. arsene wenger says:

stevie gerrard is just sly and smarmy, he used to tackle 2 footed on a regular basis, eventually the pundits did pick him up on it so he switched to divin, but he is a real brat and they want to keep him sweet,i dont know why, this is the mystery, sometimes people with images so clean come along, they make one bad decision and the media go all out to destroy, theyve been waitin like vultures, but in gerrards case their just not interested in this mersyside pikey

  126. Costas says:

He is a media darling aw, plain and simple. And sometimes certain images sell and the media make sure to never tarnish them. In Stevie Me’s case it’s his good boy/leader image. In David Beckham’s case, it’s his outrageous lifestyle. In Ronaldo’s case, it was his diving.

Another example of Gerrard’s preferential treatment was an incident that happened in a Ch.League game in 2002 and i was one of the very few to pick it up. It was a game against Barcelona and Rivaldo was down after a tackle from Gerrard. As Stevie Me stood over him, he kicked him(not with full force of course) at the back of the head. Almost 8 years have passed and i still don’t think any media outlet has mentioned it. Yet they remember pizzagate, lol.

  127. rooney the new king says:

    King Eric
    lets look at this
    steven gerrard english and british
he is liverpool captain and also england vise captain
he is supposed to be a loyal liverpool servant cough cough
half the media are scouser fans lead by 2 twats who work for the times who are liverpool fans evans and alyso.
yes the media will def highlight this MOTD perfect example never saw the liverpool match on there, if ronaldo and even rooney did it would be front page headlines because it is united.

    cristiano ronaldo
he is foreign and from portugal
when in england he played for united
winked at rooney, helped get rooney sent off and scored winning penalty against england, despite the fact rooney stamped on carvalhio nuts
    he does dive
the media and the fans hate the fact he loves himself and got england knocked out strange crimes from the media

another thing that really pisses me off with britain and england especially, their idol in the past 20 years who they love and adore who they still think is a great person is a drunken yob, and an alcholic who beat his wife in gazza is a hero in their eyes still. yet ronaldo despite he can act selfish his crime is help get england knocked out, ronaldo he does not beat on women he hits on women, how the media hate ronaldo for the world cup thing but love someone like gazza who was a wife beater weird and ironic double standards from the media is’nt it, same aplies with engand players who dive but what is their excuse blame the ronaldos of this world who all started it.

  128. King Eric says:

I see that dirty cunt Collymore is trying to do a u turn. He reckons he was hasty in writing United off. You don’t fucking say Stan. He reckons we have plenty of fight left. Who the fuck is he. Plenty of fight? We are the current Champions you insulting bastard. Still reckons our midfield is hit and our attack though. What qualifies him to say that Drogba and Anelka will score more than Rooney, Berba and Owen? Horrible cunt.

“Like a lot of pundits, I was perhaps too hasty in writing United off in the title race and they are showing plenty of fight yet.

Sir Alex Ferguson also says his sides come on stronger in the second half of the season and a two-point gap is nothing for them to overcome.

Having said all that, I’ve been tipping Chelsea to win it and I’m still going to stick with them.

I feel their midfield is stronger than United’s and that Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka will score more goals than Berbatov, Rooney and Michael Owen”

Finally he has done an article on Stevie GBH saying how he must leave to win medals. He has the fucking cheek to say “If inferior players like Fletcher and Carrick have won the league”. What a biased cunt. You don’t play for a team like United if you are inferior. Summat must be done about him. Spewing his anti united bile everywhere I fucking look. Never mentions the fact that Saint Stevie plays for himself and is a horrible cheating prick. No mention of the dive yesterday. Honestly if I could have one person shot it would be this abu bastard.

  129. King Eric says:

    *shit

  130. King Eric says:

arsene wenger – Spot on about Saint Steves two footed tackles. He used to do this regularly when he first came on the scene. I just hope one day the media do turn on him but they just seem blind to the bastard. Hate him. Despise the squidgy faced cunt.

  131. arsene wenger says:

lol pizzagate,if only there was a camera in that tunnel, although theres regular drama behind the scenes we will never know about, their saying james beatie and pulis had a fist fight after the game at the emirates on saturday now as well

  132. arsene wenger says:

you cant take collymore seriously, he walloped ulrika johnson in public, threatened vanilla ice on big brother, and got his ass kicked by a rugby player in a club, these are the highlights of his career and he is meant to have been a footballer

  133. rooney the new king says:

    King Eric
well heres a fact for stan
    fletcher first choice in CM
gerrard not first choice for liverpool, when lucas mascherano aurelio aqulina ahead of gerrad what does that say.

how many times have we heard oh shit I was wrong writting uniited off. my saying yet again fool me twice shame on you fool me 7 or more times shame on me, if I put a bet on how many times united were writting off I would be a millionaire. people must realise stop stop backing the wrong horse its like there is no point going against us just except it and join us thats what the media must do. has long as fergie is in charge and the team is hungry never bet against them,
I am giving united a new nickname rocky red devils. call uniteds mascotte rocky the red

  134. rooney the new king says:

sorry wrote it in wrong, fool me 2 more times shame on you fool me 7 or more times shame on you thats what the media are, if united win the league again they will go down media pundits has the worse people to pridict football. its a simple rule DONT WRITE OFF UNITED it is a simple football rule.

  135. Costas says:

@arsene wenger: Well, a lot of styff does happen behind the scenes. Pizzagate, the Beckham-boot incident, Beattie and Pulis…It’s funny how the media try to uncover it, yet Stevie Me dives in front of everyone and they turn the blind eye.

@King Eric: I think it’s a long debate. Gerrard is better than Carrick or Fletcher in many ways. I think that’s what Collybore meant. I realluy hope he didn’t mean that Carrick and Fletcher are inferior to play for United because that’s a lod of crap. But that’s why football is funny like that. Just compare David May and Alan Shearer’s medal collections! Besides, no one told Stevie Me to choose Liverpool did they? It happens all the time in world football. Great players play for a big team during a bad era.

  137. rooney the new king says:

    Costas
well read collymores drunken article united dont have the talent to overtake chelsea, yea like united were any better talent wize in 2006/07 which that was a poor squad than the current one. I think 06/07 squad is the weakest championship winning team I have seen, and if that lot can win a title then it will be a walk in a park for this lot. especially since a phew players are stepping up and it is a far better squad than that squad.

  138. arsene wenger says:

fletcher is a better box to box midfielder than gerrard, he has his job and he sticks to it, gerrard cant play centre midfield,he isnt smart enough he gets attracted to the ball and sucked out of position, its free role or nothing for gerrard, it makes him look good but wheres the creation? isnt that what the free role is supposed to get you?

  139. Costas says:

@rooney the new king : I agree. Overall, his article is invalid. I just mentioned the part about Carrick and Fletcher because i have heard this kind of arguement for years. “How did this great player never won a medal and that mediocre one did”? That’s football. United definitely have the squad to win the title. We have seen United truly streched. Can we say the same for Chelsea? No. And lets not forget that Man United are just now starting to gel with the new attacking system. They can only get better. Again, can we say the same for Chelsea? No.

@arsene wenger: Gerrard’s role has changed thoughout the years. At one point he was more of a box to box midfielder, but now he is kind of like a second striker. The waiter even used him as a right midfielder for a while. To be honest, i don’t think we should be comparing him with players like Carrick and Fletcher anymore. That was my bad. I just meant that he is better attacking wise. He is more creative and scores more goals. I actually think that he and Torres have a good understanding. But players like Fletcher are just as imprtant to the team…

  140. arsene wenger says:

i agree costas, but as good as gerrard is at what he does i think he is also a problem for rafa benitez because he looks a good second striker with torres, but then again if you are half decent i think you will look good playin with torres, liverpools midfield is crap and gerrard is meant to be a super talent, why couldnt they use him? and put babel or benayoun as the second striker? its part of being stevie me,he wants to be the headline maker, more than anything i worry about the effect gerrard can have on the ref when we play liverpool, he wont run the game at all

  141. rooney the new king says:

    Costas
like it or not the quality of football has not been great since 07/08 season, what united are doing this season is quiet inhuman its actually out of the reaches of what a normal team man utd squard are like football manager which I love playing.

her is what someone said which I think the exact same thing

Normal wisdom dictates that you cannot win the the league without the backbone of your side being intact and solid.

Therefore you have no chance if :-

Your first choice keeper is out and you have to play any of your two backups. I will add we have been lucky we have been retarded to think foster was was second chice and continued with him which we still got through that part.

Your main central defenders are out not to mention the backups and other defensive positions.

You have injuries to your main midfield players for example Fletcher and Carrick not played many games together. add the wide players have had to be bedded in and nani has been moaning and out of form still.

Your main strikers have missed games i.e. Ronney and Berbatov ( who someone tried to Kidnap recently) and owen who has had to fill in and sometimes being struggling

Add to this the fact you lose the best player in the world.
I will add tevez who chipped in with 15 goals he has gone
    Obviously you have no chance!

So why are we only two points behind an allegedly much superior team who have had more or less no injuries

and I read a report and on sunday supplement that chelsea have done extremly well with drogba out when they beat wolves.

    so injurys we have had
vds brown o shea ferdiand vidic evans carrick fletcher scholes hargreaves scholes obertan rooney berbatov owen

now tell me has anyone seen this amount of pile up of injurys in one season, and to be 2 points off the top is a miracle.

  142. rooninho says:

    @rooney the new king

are you saying that the 2006/7 team was the weakest title winning team in general or the weakest united title team?

the 2006-7 squad beat mourinho to the title, got 89 points, scored 83 goals (the most in the last few years), rooney had his personal best goal tally, ronaldo grew into a superstar…

no ando, nani, hargo, or scarface yet but i always thought that the 2006-7 team was a good squad myself and the goal total since that season has gone from 83 to 80 and then to 68 last year. to be fair their was little depth in that 2006-7 squad and they look knackered by the ac milan cl semi finals and fa cup against chelsea. but weakest title team that you’ve ever seen? which title team would be your 2nd weakest? not having a go mate, just curious.

  143. Jonny says:

I think theres a difference between players who dive infrequently, at times where its just a sudden reaction, dives like Eduardo’s agasint Celtic or Rooney’s against Arsenal. Its just a spur of the moment reaction and I think these can be forgiven. But the serial divers out there like Ronaldo, Drogba and Gerrard who know precisely what they’re doing every time they go to ground are the ones that are ruining the game. I admire Gerrard’s dedication and drive, think he’s a marvelous player, but he embarasses himself with these instances.
I think the press ignore it mainly because he’s English and they are doing what they absolutely love to do in a World Cup season; talk up our players and then slam them when we don’t win it. Hyposcisy is a terrible thing but if its something you seriously object to then football isn’t really your thing.

  144. rooney the new king says:

    rooninho
let me rephrase that the weakest man utd squad of the 11 title winning man utd squads. when you compare 06/07 to the current one this current quad should have no problem retaining the title especially when you see this chelsea side who are quiet overated.

and on the media again oh they actually said they beat wolves at home without drogba and lampard, WOW seen uniteds pile up of injurys is in the relms of a monster freak squad of united to not just hang in there they are ready to blow sides away now. if they score goals again in their next game I believe they are well and truly back

  145. Funited says:

    diverpool

  146. arsene wenger says:

rooney the new king, when you consider that 3 weeks ago before england vs brazil, they said terry was injured, fat frank was out till after christmas, ashley cole had a fractured fibula, drogba claimed his ribs were broke an skipped international duty, michael essien went awol from the ghana squad, then suddenly all of them as right as rain, every other teamwith international players didnt show such low class and this is why the injury lists are growin but at chavski they just carry on fully fit, i would like my club to now show the same kind of national spirit that chelsea show and hopefully we will have more fresh players and a squad with more fit players, important players, i suprised other managers didnt speak up about these events

  147. rooney the new king says:

    arsene wenger
so they could have their players back strange, but my gripe with this chelsea love in was the fact we had 14 games gone and people saying chelsea had the title won and they would cake walk it by 15 points, when they forget they are an ageing side, they have not got the squad or legs to pull away. when you think about have they have not had the same amount of injurys as united and they were so lucky against united a phew weeks back, they all moaned in 06/07 about injurys. I just think the media and pundits are getting their ass bit over continued ronaldo remarks that united are a 1 man team and will do dowt without ronaldo and united are not in chelseas league.

  148. rooninho says:

    @rooney the new king

fair enough! i’m trying to remember all 11 squads… i would say depth and experience wise, 2006/7 might come up short in comparison to the rest. i just always liked that team because it stopped the so called chelsea dynasty, and was able to shut mourinho up for once. also it was good to see ole go out as a champ, and we got to see henrik larsson for a second. but i get your point.

  149. Sir Ryan Giggs says:

stevie me is a fucking disgrace to football. he is a diving lil cunt.

  150. arsene wenger says:

tired players pick up injurys, chelsea are doing well in the league right now but they seem to be firin on all cylinders and have no injurys and their important players have all rested while united had players playin pointless international friendlies in the desert and we lost our best striker for the season, chelsea will come unstuck, when i look at my team with a game in hand we could be 5 points behind chelsea, that aint bad for a team who have lost 4 games @rooney the new king . something has to be done about these international friendlies and how some players skip them while others get used an abused, that could swing this title race

  151. rooney the new king says:

    rooninho
I can remember every united team like a text book I dont even have to think about it, yea it was a good team but I look at the positions of the 06/07 squad and there are so many holes, uniteds strikers except for rooney were all unreliable and injured. you loo beyond ronaldo and giggs the likes of park richerdson were either injured a lot which park was or poor attitude problems which richerdson had.
in CM we even had to have o shea fill in that area and only scholes carrick fletcher were the only ones available, irony we had a lot of depth in defence. there were at times when we had more defenders on the pitch and available than in midfield and attack. that is why I say the 06/07 squad was the weakest united title winning squad, but that did not mean it was rubbish I only ment it was a squad built like a house on sand or it was built like a pack of cards ready to collapse, but luckily we held on long enough but it was a stresful season to be a united fan

  152. rooney the new king says:

    arsene wenger
chelsea are a side there for the taken, it made me laugh when idiot paddy barcley said chelsea are the strongest side in europe when they have a weak squad which is ageing with the lack of legs in the team. but I agree these frendleys are a joke good thing is there are no disruptions.

i think the january transfer window will be huge this year,i can see united and chelsea buying, so it could boil down to whether or not these players hit the ground running, i think united can only get stronger right now because of injury situation where as chelsea are playin their cards now,we will see what happens in the january window but i think the title race will go to the wire between united and chelsea this year, dont get me wrong if my team can maintain a good position and do good january business i dont think were completely out of it either, but another loss before christmas would certainly spell the end !
