…and they didn’t even show it on MOTD, so typical

  2. FletchTHEMAN says:

Could have been 3-0 just from open play. But should have had that pen as well.

Ref Michael Oliver had some shockingly bad calls.
First big game and didn’t impress me much.

Just pleased we will forget all about him because we got the result that was well deserved.

So glad we can laugh this one off.

  3. may7heaven says:

That was the sort of shoulder to shoulder challenge that Rooney does ten times every game. The truth is that Giroud was simply stronger. What are you whining about – you won?

  4. Marq says:

Well, we all know the media loves to write bad stuff about United. Anything else they will not flip an eye. And to think Wenger came out to say referees are not as pressured now that Sir Alex is gone. If it was Sir Alex who said that they would have charged him for suggesting referees are influenced

For all the crying of Young diving, why is there next to no coverage about the absolutely horrific decision to give Chelsea the penalty to save them a point?

  5. goonerboy says:

Make the most of it. Van persie is the last Arsenal player you lot will ever sign. The tide has turned for sure.
Look forward to the Emirates- You won’t always be playing such a tired side.

  6. Bobby Charlton's Combover says:

Clear penalty for me and the ref was right beside it. Amazed he didn’t give it.
What amazed me in that Gary Neville agreed with the ref. If that had happened to him he’d still be moaning about it!

  7. john says:

Every set of supporters in the league knows you get both decisions and media bias. But you are so self absorbed in Manchester you actually claim to have it against you?

What other city spends its council budget on posters of ‘I heart MCR’ – pathetic.

Get over yourselves, get a grip and come to turns with the fact UTD are significantly less powerful with Fergie.

Well done last night, you deservied the victory.

  8. DreadedRed says:

goonerboy – the tide HAS turned, and now you’re out of your depth.

“[RVP is the] last Arsenal player you lot will ever sign” ? You expecting to go into liquidation?

Idiot. Another year without silverware will surely turn more heads amongst your disgruntled squad of perennial losers. We’ll probably ignore them, as your lot has no heart. If we want them, we’ll take what we like.

  9. RedOne says:

Well if this isn`t a penalty and

this is, I really have no words to it. disgrace! Even Young couldn`t dive like that….

If anything at all, this should be remembered at least and presented to the twats when they` ll be accusing us of cheating…

  10. Sharpie's Infamous House Party says:

Goonerboy – however much you want to piss and moan, it still won’t change the scoreline. As for the ‘tired’ excuses, you’re having a Giroud, right? We’ve been doing that sort of schedule (Sat, Wed/Tues, Sun) for the last 20 years! If you want to win the league, you gotta stop feeling so hard done to and pull your socks up and put the shift in. Having a plan b also helps….

  11. Dela says:

@goonerboy –> You’ve lost three of your last 6 and you got lucky in Germany… FACT! You’ll be exposed again before long. But at least you don’t throw pizzas at elderly men anymore…

BTW, I thought you signed Mesut Ozil? I didn’t see him at all yesterday.. what happened?

  12. scholes says:

i think mr gooner boy bought the nonsense his manager dished out

tired: yea, every top team played in champions league

scored from set piece: next time, i expect wenger to say “oh, he scored from head, i only consider goals with quick one two as worthy of goals”

played well in second half: yea, few decent crosses; united had clear cut chances though

real reasons for your defeat were

    - ball was more round
    - ref was biased and bribed
    - grass was less green
    - united goal post was squeezed

  13. Champ20ns says:

Typical Gooner response. If your team is tired now, what will it be like when the season really starts in March?

Arsenal has a very shallow squad typified by having to bring on NickelArse Bendover. When did he every score you a goal?

Can’t recall De Gea having to make a save, such was Arsenal’s domination.

  14. Andromeda says:

    Scholes, hahaha cheers mate.nice comments.

Are you deluding yourself??that was the most strong lineup you have and you still couldn’t make a clear cut chance, the truth is we played exactly the way we used to be under Fegie’s reign, we put Jones in the middle just like we have been doing in the old day when we had fully fit Darren worked perfectly well last night and Jones has scared the hell out of your midfielders, in the second half we were obliged to change the position of the lad because of Vida’s incident and you still didn’t manège to get anything from the game, the truth is your players were clueless last night and please don’t make any excuses, we are hunting for years and why it should be anymore different.Ozil was also kidding himself when he said before the game that we will end United’sform titles dream.remember we are the champions and we will show up when it counts.take care in your remaining games against City and Rentboys, your honeymoon will be need soon.

  15. wayne says:

goonerboy am i missing something Utd have played the same amount of games as Le Arse in the last 2 weeks,if Le Arse don’t have the squad or players to handle 2 games a week 10 games into the season pretty sad state of affairs.Oh yeah great business selling us RVP for 23 mill then buying Ozil ‘the invisible one’ for over 42mill, Wenger truly is ‘the wise one’. Wenger not blaming tiredness he’s saying the players were nervous the occasion was to much for them.Tired, stressed and apprehensive, got a great bunch of warriors, you must be very proud

  16. WilliamAR says:

It really annoys me when refs give penalties to players like Ashley Young for deliberately throwing their bodies in unnatural ways (diving) and miss blatant penalties.

  17. Tommy says:

You’ve made yourself look very foolish mate, Complaining about tiredness, not our fault your squad is wafer thin is it? You get bad decisions when you decide to appoint a 12 year old as the referee! Has anyone seen the truth, hes gone missing!

Phil Jones got arrested last night, hes been found with £42 million in his back pocket!

  18. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

Another one on the board. Yet referees ONLY favour United. Nowhere near the ball and that was not his intention. His intention was to block Rooney off first and then go for the ball. How on earth it was not given is a mystery.

  19. wayne says:

Tommy wafer thin is being kind Bentnar wouldn’t even makes Utd’s under 21 team and Wenger sends him on to save the day lol

  20. Tommy says:

Yea true mate, their ball across the box in the dieing minutes couldn’t have fell to a better man, Bendtner sticking his leg out was pitiful haha

  21. wayne says:

The only reason he’s still there makes 60k a week and Wenger can’t give him away he’s fucking dogshit

  22. keanoisdaman says:

  38. Dayus D red says:

The last time scott wrote about Young i reminded him about decisions that have gone against us that were not focused on by the media. In a spate of five days we have three dodge calls for three biggest clubs in BPL. Only one was seen as cheating. When United was beating by an off side goal at Anfield the ABU proclaimed the end of an era. The fact Rooney, was injured doesn’t matter. United beat Arsenal at OT with a well taken goal suddenly the story is not about the victory but the missing Arsenal players as if those players were not missing when they were winning. Am sure there were a lot of humble pies forced down the throats yesterday and a lot of re-written headlines bcos the match didn’t go according to thier scripts.

  39. brett1985 says:

    “WilliamAR says:

It really annoys me when refs give penalties to players like Ashley Young for deliberately throwing their bodies in unnatural ways (diving) and miss blatant penalties.”

Agreed. Happy to get the penalties that we deserve and not the ones that we don’t. Am I harsh when I think of Ashley young as an outsider. So blatantly unfair that someone like Ronaldo was labelled like a diver. No one is a patch on Young. To compound matters he is mediocre. Just leave Ashley.

  40. DreadedRed says:

    john is not John.

john is an arsenal fan, whereas John is … well, we all know who John is. He’s the lad who arrived kicking and screaming; was disemboweled; had a miraculous change of heart; and APPEARS to be on the road to becoming an asset. Time will tell.

  41. John says:

    Thanks @DreadedRed!

  42. John says:

Go to Gooner blog “j” ohn!

  43. Tommy says:

You will have to stick to one name now, You’ve chose John over your other names, the truth, dragon and zibbie haha
