I Had this one earlier written, peopel talking about Chicha.

The question for me is more like,

Is Chicha ready to be the next Solskjaer, and by this I mean, is he ready to stay here, and fight for his place, and will he be satisfied if, he will not play every game for us, cause we have 2 lethal strikers available. Will he accept his role this season. I can’t say anything for the next.

By his words, he is ready to stay and play 5 or 90 minutes and fight for his place. He is a rare player, because he loves our club. How many player, in our team, after they score goes and kisses the badge every freaking time? Tell me? He scored in his first season 20 goals, kisses the badge 15 times (a guess) I know, I cannot read too much into it, but we know he means it.

SO it’s more in his hands than in ours. If we are lucky. He stays here and becomes one of our legends. If he sees himself playing somewhere else, well that will be unfortunate for us. He is foreign, so it’s an option. But he is a decent lad, and I hope he stays with us.

What happens, God forbiden, if RVP and Rooney gets injured? And we woul have sold Chicha. That’s always a possibility. That’s why nobody should wish him to be sold.

    SAF at CL Presser:

The manager was at pains to make clear that Ferdinand’s exclusion was absolutely nothing to do with him refusing to wear a ‘Kick it out’ T-shirt before the Stoke City match.

“The issue’s simple,” he stated. “I’ve spoken to Rio. It was a communication issue. He felt I should have spoken to him on Friday and I didn’t anticipate that he’d have a problem wearing the shirt.

“My advice is to him that I always feel a union is stronger than an individual. It’s important he airs his grievances to the right people, the FA. It’s been a communication issue more than anything else. We’ve resolved the situation, there’s no lingering problems and we move on. That’s the end of the matter.”
