    @ costas- interesting article indeed! hope he’s learnt from that, was getting a bit annoyed at rio earlier. didn’t seem like his mind was on football matters but looks like he’s sorted himself out. poor guy though, that sounded like a horrible injury. and he i actually preferred his other goal against pool. that was unfuckingbelievable. what control to bring the ball down, and then a left foot volley???? ronaldo’d be proud of that

    Yeah that was a better goal, no doubt. But his first goal against them was special because it was in the 91st minute and we didn’t look like scoring at all.

    Back injuries can be very serious. I had a strain in my lower back a couple of weeks back and it doesn’t let up easily. He shoulh have been more honest about it. For the team and for his personal safety.
